It is impossible to believe that the Pope did not know what follows. We have this report from the National Schismatic Reporter write in 2010?
Audio recordings leaked to the Belgian media this weekend reveal Belgium’s Cardinal Godfried Danneels urging a sex abuse victim not to make public that his abuser was his uncle Bishop Roger Vangheluwe of Bruges, Belgium. The recordings show Danneels pressuring the young man not to force Vangheluwe to resign. Cardinal Danneels asks if the nephew wants Vangheluwe to resign and adds: ‘But that is his decision. I can mention it but that’s all. You expect me to do something that I cannot do. I don’t know what more to do. Or perhaps I have to find some other way to bring this to a satisfactory conclusion.’ When the nephew stresses that the cardinal must speak to pope and that Vangeluwe must be sanctioned by the church, Cardinal Danneels responds ‘Yes but… You can also ask forgiveness and, well, you can also acknowledge your own guilt.’
Jorge Bergoglio talks a good story when he says that there is no tolerance for abusers and those who protect them.Nephew: ‘Whose forgiveness do I have to seek? I am not the one to ask for forgiveness.’Danneels: ‘He can do that. That’s correct.’Later, Cardinal Danneels asks that the conversation not be made public and suggests to the nephew: ‘You can figure that he will resign next year and that he agrees to make no more appearances on television, that sort of thing, and before you know it a year has gone by.’Nephew: ‘No! I am putting this in your hands and the two of you have to make a decision.’[Danneels replies] ‘So you can grab us and try to blackmail us, huh, and say: ‘you have to do something!’
Some say that I, as a layman, cannot judge the Pope. Then condemn me for my judgment of his decision to appoint, over age, this retired pervert protecting Cardinal. I am judging Jorge Bergoglio. I am judging his action and I am judging his lack of prudence.
The secular and most Catholic media, in their idolatrous treatment of this Pope, ignore this fact and refuse to report on it. We have a word for it and the man who would appoint such a prelate to the Synod on the Family. A Synod where priests and prelates seek to undermine the faith and the truth, doctrine and dogma.
St. Matthew tells us clearly what Our Blessed Lord thought of these men using language and words that show that those who would change "language" do not follow the Lord Jesus Christ's example but preach a false gospel, a gospel of feelings.
Have these men no respect for Our Lord? for his Apostles and Evangelists?
Read what Our Lord Jesus Christ has to say as recorded by St. Matthew, Apostle and Evangelist in the 23rd chapter and the words He uses to describe the clericalists of His day. Truly, He would not be welcomed at the Synod on the Family.
A Reading from the continuation of the Holy Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to St. Matthew beginning at the 23rd chapter 13 But woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men, for you yourselves do not enter in; and those that are going in, you suffer not to enter. 14 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: because you devour the houses of widows, praying long prayers. For this you shall receive the greater judgment. 15 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you go round about the sea and the land to make one proselyte; and when he is made, you make him the child of hell twofold more than yourselves. 16 Woe to you blind guides, that say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but he that shall swear by the gold of the temple, is a debtor. 17 Ye foolish and blind; for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold? 18 And whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it, is a debtor. 19 Ye blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift? 20 He therefore that sweareth by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all things that are upon it:21 And whosoever shall swear by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth in it: 22 And he that sweareth by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. 23 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you tithe mint, and anise, and cummin, and have left the weightier things of the law; judgment, and mercy, and faith. These things you ought to have done, and not to leave those undone. 24 Blind guides, who strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel. 25 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you make clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but within you are full of rapine and uncleanness. 26 Thou blind Pharisee, first make clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, that the outside may become clean. 27 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you are like to whited sepulchres, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within are full of dead men's bones, and of all filthiness. 28 So you also outwardly indeed appear to men just; but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. 29 Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; that build the sepulchres of the prophets, and adorn the monuments of the just, 30 And say: If we had been in the days of our Fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore you are witnesses against yourselves, that you are the sons of them that killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33 You serpents, generation of vipers, how will you flee from the judgment of hell? 34 Therefore behold I send to you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them you will put to death and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city: 35 That upon you may come all the just blood that hath been shed upon the earth, from the blood of Abel the just, even unto the blood of Zacharias the son of Barachias, whom you killed between the temple and the altar. 36 Amen I say to you, all these things shall come upon this generation. 37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered together thy children, as the hen doth gather her chickens under her wings, and thou wouldest not? 38 Behold, your house shall be left to you, desolate. 39 For I say to you, you shall not see me henceforth till you say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

What could a heretic etc. possibly bring to a discussion on the family - except as a witness on not how to do things!
I'll tell you what needs to happen if this manipulation continues: The faithful Bishops need to walk out. We know that there are some there for instance, Cdl Chaput put out a strong statement, and believe it or not Cdl Dolan didn't do horrible, as he did state that we have to have a starting point of looking to God's plan for marriage and keep it on that. Indicated that God's word MUST stand, and said that a few times, so???? If even Cdl. Dolan says something like that, you have to know things are not good behind Synod doors, because even he has shown his permissive leanings in the past.
We should discriminate truth from falsehood, we should discern, and then judge. This whole new "culture" of non judgement is anti-human, it (with it the Pope) demands that we accept everything, tolerate everything, celebrate error and evil. Deniers of Christ are now our friends, as long as they follow their conscience (according to Francis Bergoglio). Supporters of infanticide (as a senator Obama consistently voted to leave live babies born out of failed abortions to die) deserve our love and hugs, our cooperation in building heaven on earth, a just earth for all (non-discrimination between species applies here).
This pope supports and serves sinners without rebuke, and seems dedicated to overthrowing the very concept of sin, unless we are talking about our failure to serve Gaia. This pope does not seem to serve the God of the Bible, though to him, as a Catholic, the God of the Bible should be the only God. This pope would rather see HIMSELF as a (humble!) authority on all things, scientific and theological, than God.
I use discernment (to the best of my ability), I judge. We are not called by our heavenly Father to make friends with His enemies, to to make heaven on earth and justice for all. We ask God to use us for His purposes, for His divine justice. This pope is very unjust, even to (especially towards) those Catholics, who have not abandoned faith and reason, and have followed the teachings of Christ. This pope ignores history and all those, who through tyranny and genocide created their own just society. The overhauling of language as we know it serves as a means to marginalize and control all those who still discern and judge.
One could say, that sadly, in some respects, by Daneels continuous presence at the Synod, that the poor nephew, spiritually at least, is still being sodomised. his agony is being prolonged.
This is what this whole lying, deceitful Family Synod is about. It'sullied. Francis is mocking sex abuse victims, all of us really. It's like we're all being abused.
