I post here a most interesting perspective on the Book of Revelation, Europa and the E.U. It's not a new theory but mostly has been put forward by certain protestant sects. One can recall Herbert W. Armstrong of the old, "Worldwide Church of God" and his theory's about the United States of Europe. What our friend here does is to leave the hyperbole of the sects out and focuses directly on Revelation and some very obvious signs.
"Today Our attention is directed to one of the most common of them (abuses), one of the most difficult to eradicate, and the existence of which is sometimes to be deplored in places where everything else is deserving of the highest praise; the beauty and sumptuousness of the temple, the splendor and the accurate performance of the ceremonies, the attendance of the clergy, the gravity and piety of the officiating ministers. Such is the abuse affecting sacred chant and music."- St. Pius X, Pope

"Sometimes the combox is better than the blogger."
In my morning perusal of my favourite blogs (all are on the left column), I read this on Non Veni Pacem. It struck me because the of what my fellow blogger, Mark, wrote:
As a blogger, I could not agree more. It is one reason why the combox is open and free and while moderated, generally uncensored with 99.9% of comments being published.
There was a reason why on March 13, 2013 I wanted to vomit. It was because I was looking into the face of evil. Not a shepherd, not a vicar, not a pastor, but the face of a man who gave himself over to Satan. I knew it, deep in my bones.
People are awakening. Others think as I; and furthermore, I consider that Ann Barnhardt has been on to all of this for quite a while.
Read this and please, read every comment.

Letter of Saint Athanasius to His Flock (4th Century A.D.)
“May God console you! … What saddens you … is the fact that
others have occupied the churches by violence, while during this time you are
on the outside. It is a fact that they have the premises — but you have the
Apostolic Faith. They can occupy our churches, but they are outside the true
Faith. You remain outside the places of worship, but the Faith dwells within
you. Let us consider: what is more important, the place or the Faith? The true
Faith, obviously. Who has lost and who has won in the struggle — the one who
keeps the premises or the one who keeps the Faith?
True, the premises are good when the Apostolic Faith is
preached there; they are holy if everything takes place there in a holy way …
You are the ones who are happy; you who remain within the
Church by your Faith, who hold firmly to the foundations of the Faith which has
come down to you from Apostolic Tradition. And if an execrable jealousy has
tried to shake it on a number of occasions, it has not succeeded. They are the
ones who have broken away from it in the present crisis.
No one, ever, will prevail against your Faith, beloved
Brothers. And we believe that God will give us our churches back some day.
Thus, the more violently they try to occupy the places of
worship, the more they separate themselves from the Church. They claim that
they represent the Church; but in reality, they are the ones who are expelling
themselves from it and going astray.
Even if Catholics faithful to Tradition are reduced to a
handful, they are the ones who are the true Church of Jesus Christ.”

32, pp. 411-412)

No more One Peter Five
Update: Sadly, Mr. Skojec has proved my point and has now sniped at me for this action. Clearly, if the combox is any judge, many share my views, for whatever they are worth. I have no time to debate with him, nor energy, Christmas is coming. He tagged me on a post and now I am inundated. I have removed the tag and blocked him. If anyone has an issue, feel free to write me at voxcantoris (at) rogers (dot com). God bless him but I'm done...
And the fact remains, Skojec has allowed abuse of Miss Barnhardt in commentary far beyond what is reasonable.
ENOUGH!
The post below, "The Devil is dividing and people are blind to it," has had thousands of views. It was motivated by a derogatory Facebook post by Steve Skojec responding to something which inflamed him written by Ann Barnhardt. Rather than privately reach out to Ann, Skojec took after her on Facebook and the gang up has been disgraceful. It continues.
A few people, this writer included, have tried to point out that it has gone too far and overboard. Skojec refuses to see his continuing error and mocks when he is corrected.
In March 2015, Thomas Rosica attempted to undertake a vexatious and frivolous lawsuit. Steve Skojec, a man I did not know, never communicated with, wrote a snarky comment on his Facebook akin to "well, I've heard all about him" or something like that, it has been a long time to remember it exactly. I wrote to him privately to correct him. I believe that I know who was behind that and it is right up her alley.
Given the continuing situation, One Peter Five is now removed from the blog roll and there will be no future links to it. I can no longer recommend it, notwithstanding whatever good they have written. I have already removed Hilary Jane Margaret White's "What's Up With the Synod."
I predict its demise within months. Not because of me, not at all, but because of its founder and owner.

What did Rocco Palmo know about pervert McCarrick and when did he know it?
Rocco Palmo, who has blocked me on Twitter, publishes the gossipy insider Lispers in the Loggia blog.
Since 2002, at least, it has been known that McCarrick was a diabolical narcist, homosexual predator and fraud.
With all of Palmo's contacts and his access to the AmChurch Power Brokers, what did Palmo know about it and when did he know it?

This deepens Wuerl's complicity in the McCarrick scandal. Wuerl put out an extremely vague statement denying any "charges" during McCarrick's time in DC. Yet this report says the harassment settlements were reached when he was in DC. Wuerl did zip to warn seminary houses, etc https://twitter.com/roccopalmo/status/1011379309137756160 …

Nick Donnelly, Vox Cantoris now Infovaticana - who's next on the Bergoglian hit list?
Yet another attempt by corrupt church officials to silence faithful Catholics.
It was just over three years ago when a Vatican communications "expert" attempted to sue this writer over his objection to the reasonable response to his public commentary. Between pressure from his Order, financiers, a Cardinal, Breitbart, and hundreds of blogs around the world, the matter ended in embarrassment and ridicule for him and boosted this blog from just over 600,000 page views after ten years to what will be 5,000,000 by Easter or sooner, depending on Pope Bergoglio.
This came after the silencing of Deacon Nick Donnelly and his blog "Protect the Pope," which the bishop then denied forcing the closure. Deacon Donnelly is quite active on Twitter at https://twitter.com/ProtecttheFaith where he wrote on March 9; “Four years ago this week I was forced to stand down from my blog http://www.protectthepope.com. I was told that 'men of high standing' had complained about my posts. All my requests to recommence PtP have been refused. The truth is Protect the Pope was closed down.”
Now, we see that the Vatican itself is attempting through an American law firm to shut down the Spanish blog, Infovaticana. They write, "The Vatican Secretariat of State wants InfoVaticana to close, and has contracted for it one of the most powerful law firms in the world, which does not accept any agreement that does not involve the final closure of this portal and the delivery of the InfoVaticana domain. com to your client."
The background on the story can also be read at ChurchMilitant who with Michael Voris was instrumental in assisting this writer's pushback against the "high profiled Vatican official" that attempted to silence this writer.
The Vatican, it seems, has learnt nothing from the past. Infovaticana must stand firm in this assault on freedom of thought, speech and expression and in violation of Canon 212.
Bergoglio, Parolin and the rest of these malefactors should understand it perfectly clear, we're not going away anytime soon.
Get used to it.

Anonymous to the Cross is back!
After a blogging hiatus since April, the blog "Anonymous to the Cross" is back. It is said to be by a priest or two, in Rome.
Things are going to get really interesting...
Nota bene; the blog is in Italian, some are reporting the inability to translate it but that may be your settings.

Quo Vadis, indeed!
A blessed Lord's Day to you all.
Another blogger wrote yesterday that blogging this past week was slow. That was the case here too, but it was not because there was nothing to blog about or I was going through kind of self-doubt. On Wednesday, my 8 year old Lenova Thinkpad R61 fried, it truly did its best with Windows 10. Now that I have my fancy new Lenova Ideapad, we're back on track.
When I began this blog back in February 2006, it was to post the music list and liturgical information for the choir and any interested parishioners at my territorial parish in Toronto where I had begun a choir. After a while, as I read a few other blogs, Father Z and the New Liturgical Movement specifically, I came to realise more about how blogs worked, how we could communicate and learn from one another, and on a personal level, how a blog could also be an outlet for ones thoughts about the issues facing the Church and the broader culture. The nature of my posts and writing gradually took on a different theme. To be truthful, it also provided an outlet, if the Catholic paper would not print my letters, then I would. If the call or email to the bishop was ignored, there was another option.
Under Pope Benedict XVI (I do not accept the title, "Emeritus"), blogging was pretty straightforward. We had a Pope we loved and whom we saw working on a restoration, We accepted his "hermeneutic of continuity." and we went about our work. I wrote about liturgy and other matters and stood with the Pope and the Bishops in the matter of the new Missal for the modernist rite and worked to promote the "extraordinary form." In fact, I worked weekly in both, as some of you will recall.
In February and March 2013, all that changed. Two years later, in 2015, I faced a major challenge because of my work here and that is recalled permanently to the immediate left. With the prayers of you, a certain Cardinal, a certain Bishop and many priests, I emerged from that scandalous and repugnant episode. People offered thousands of dollars to aid my fight. Make no mistake, the persecution against me has continued behind the scenes, but they will not succeed.
There has been a cost to this blog. There has never been a request for money, unlike some others. I've been threatened with a lawsuit, received countless harassing emails, other threats of which I cannot speak and the loss of friendships from hypocrites who ate my food, accepted my hospitality but can't stomach the truth.
My job here has been to wake up Catholics and through that, in whatever small way, help people understand and get through this dark crisis in the Church.
Some may take an approach that we should no longer report on the harrowing episodes of those who have infiltrated the Church to destroy Her and your faith. They would rather now take a more passive approach and speak of butterflies and meadows and all things bright and beautiful as if doing otherwise has played in to the hands of the enemy. I understand the emotions that lead one to want to walk in the meadow. I do not accept that it is what we need to do. I won't be throwing in the towel, I will use it to wipe the sweat from my brow and trust that God will give me the fortitude to get in for another round.
No doubt, the enemy is well pleased at the throwing in of the towel by those who have such an incredible reach. After all, hundreds of thousands of visitors a month can now just look at little kittens, they're so soft and furry.

No more "Anonymous of the Cross"
Less than one hour ago, from 8:08 EDT, Anonimidellacroce put up a post stating, "our adventure ends here."
Oh, and the letter, the infamous letter about Benedict XVI "forced" renouncement of the papacy. Right. An anonymous letter to an anonymous blog.
A joke from the beginning, or if these two Fraters are real, cowards.
And I guess Rogue Swiss Guard was murdered, too.
What a bunch of nothing.

"The sinister Fr. Rosica?"
Whatever does he mean?
Not even this writer, used such an adjective to describe him. What does Father Hunwicke know that the rest of us do not?

Who judges Francis? History, the Magisterium and The Denzinger-Bergoglio
It was a few months ago that I discovered The Denzinger Bergoglio and, shortly thereafter, put a link to this most necessary resource on the blog list, to the left below.
It began as work of Spanish priests and today is the one-year anniversary of its English version. The writers are a network of diocesan priests, by necessity, anonymous; and, they have the support of their bishops.
It began as work of Spanish priests and today is the one-year anniversary of its English version. The writers are a network of diocesan priests, by necessity, anonymous; and, they have the support of their bishops.
I urge you to consult and study the work of Denzinger-Bergoglio. It will be a reference point for years to come.
Let's look at just one post.
Many will accuse bloggers of being against Francis or manipulating what he says, as we report and comment on what he says and does. Where is the proof? of our accusations? Who are you to judge the Pope? they will say and write. Well, who does judge Francis?
Yet, there is a post which is a reference point for all about "Who Judges Francis?"
It is the very Magisterium itself!
https://en.denzingerbergoglio.com/who-judges-francis/
Two thousand years of Holy Scripture, Councils, Saints, Doctors, Synods, Documents...all of it, judges Francis.
Don't blame us.
Blame the Magisterium.

Hey Father Longenecker - thanks for the publicity!
Truly, Fathers Rosica and Longenecker, need to smarten up and not be so judgemental and uncharitable. They need to examine exactly why faithful Catholics, whom they take relish in insulting publicly, find it so necessary to counter the machinations of certain prelates and yes, even the Pope himself, through the most effective tool that we have available.
Perhaps Father Longenecker can tell us all how much money he makes from blogging at Patheos. Perhaps he can advise us how much money he puts into their bank by writing for them - a webpage that puts the one, true, faith of Catholicism on an even par with Protestantism, Hinduism, Paganism, witchcraft and atheism! Is that something that a faithful Catholic priest or layman such as Armstrong or Shea should be supporting?
What does Father Longenecker do all day?
Does he not have a family as a married priest? What about his parish? How is he able to visit the sick, bury the dead, give spiritual direction, offer the Divine Sacrifice, and otherwise manage a parish, when he writes all day about those nasty radical traditionalists that were once just known as faithful Catholics. So who changed?
I wish to address both of these priests directly.
We did not ask for this. It was thrust upon us. How do you know that our blogging is not a result of prayer and discernment? Have you considered that it is our role as Catholic men and women to stand up and fight for Holy Mother Church as she is attacked from all sides and even from within? Do you think it is possible that the Holy Spirit has called us at our Confirmations decades ago for this moment? What happened to the "god of surprises?" Who are you to judge our motivations?
How do you know that we do not have encouragement from some of your very colleagues?
Monsignors and bishops, priests and religious, heck, even a few Jesuits write me and encourage me in this work. I can write this paragraph because if it is true for me and this rather obscure blog, it follows then it must be surely true for Steve Skojec and Ann Barnhardt and poor Louie Verrecchio and Hilary White whom you forgot to chastise in your screed. What would you think if these priests actually offered the Holy Mass for us, as many of them do, as we engage in this battle?
People have set out to manipulate a Council that in a half-century would lead to a near collapse of the Faith in the West. We have sold out to a culture that is evil and dedicated to the destruction of the Church Herself because she is all that stands between Truth and the world of evil.
Some of those are indeed within Her and you think we should sit by and just let it happen?
Oh, sorry, it is all about tone and feelings, (strike your chest here and sigh, "pastoral")
Yet, you; Father Longenecker, chose to write a column using our names that is dripping in the very venom that we bloggers are accused of undertaking. Tom Rosica has done the same thing numerous times.
What is it with you guys?
Is it classical narcissism?
Is it psychological projection?
Is it sociopathy?
It surely says much about you and your priesthoods when you consistently lead with your chins then recoil in horror that you've been called out by those who will not stand for it.
You think your priesthoods give you the right to publicly rail against the laity, send nasty emails and worse, which I won't publicly state here.
This is the height of clericalism!
You label people, such as us, as part of a "brood of vipers" or "whitewashed sepulchres" and dare to quote Our Blessed Lord. But in my reading of Holy Writ, Our Lord was speaking of the ruling and the priestly classes, not Joachim and Miriam Hebrew.
What would you say about St. John the Baptist?
Did he not have the blog of his day on the shores of the Jordan? Would you both not call him with his feet in the River Jordan as one with in a "cesspool of hatred, venom and vitriol" as he railed against Herod and the corrupt priests, pharisees and sadducees and scribes of his day? He had his head chopped off to shut him up. I suppose we should have the same done to us or have our tongues cut out or our fingers sliced off to shut us down.
Would that you make you happy?
When was the last time either of you wrote of Asia Bibi?
Yes, please, pray for me and Ann and Hilary and Steve and Mundabor and the rest of us, we all need prayer and daily conversion.
Just like the two of you.
Oh, and thanks for the publicity!
Sorry, no direct link, I won't feed the bear!
You can read it at Southern Orders, who has copied it and added his own typical humour.
Earlier this month, Basilian Father Thomas Rosica, who serves as an English-language aide to the Vatican Press Office, launched a fierce attack on radical traditionalists in the Catholic blogosphere.

Christ is not how horror can be overcome - Vatican Radio
The modernist and heretical and masonic liars free under Jorge Bergoglio to run amok in the Church and to lie to the world have done it again. "It is through education that horrors can be overcome." No, you filthy liar, it is through Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Monsignor Charles Pope writes about the "special resistance to Christ" that is worth a click to the link as he highlights some comments from a book he is reading by the late Joseph Sobran of National Review. It highlights the secular world's hatred of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The world hates Our Lord and is embarrassed to mention His Holy Name. When His Church does it, is there any doubt how many sodomites, communists, satanists, Freemasons and heretics have infiltrated Her?
O LORD Jesus Christ, tarry not and purify Thy Holy Church given for the salvation of man through You and Your sacrificial Blood.

O LORD Jesus Christ, tarry not and purify Thy Holy Church given for the salvation of man through You and Your sacrificial Blood.
Thank you Barona for helping to out these filthy Christ haters in His Church.

From Raffaella in Italy, Where is that "secret" dossier?
I invite you to read this from Raffaella's blog. The Popes, the Vatican and the Catholic Church. It's interesting to get a flavour of what our Catholic friends in Italy have to say. Special thanks to Johnny from Italy for aiding in translation.
Once upon a time there came to be the famous Vatileaks dossier edited by the cardinals Herranz, De Giorgi and Tomko on instruction of Benedict XVI in 2012.At the time it seemed to be a "Pandora's box", the precious guardian (according to Vatican experts and "mystery writers") of all the Vatican’s secrets.Suddenly ... poof! It disappeared! No journalist has ever invoked it again, no newspaper editor has demanded its publication in the name of a transparency which is always invoked but, in fact, never put into practice.According to commentators, “crows” [translator note: in Italian, the crow can signify a spy of sorts] no longer fluttered in the Vatican as of March 2013. Yes ... some sea-gulls circled round devouring poor defenseless pigeons, but not even a “crow's" shadow was to be seen.Even wide-mouthed “frogs” [translator note: similar to crow, frog can mean someone who was told something in confidence, but then betrays that confidence] always alert in the Pontificate of Benedict, had been poisoned and thrown into the swamp. The fresh breeze of spring (isn’t that true my lord Cardinals?) blew gently in the sacred palaces within the Leonine Walls.Until bang! Today it turns out that the “crows” and “frogs” are more alive than ever. They had simply hidden themselves for a while. Where? Who knows ... you should ask those who are always in contact with these animals. We note, however, the paradox: the “crows” of Benedict acted for the "good" - they wanted to clean house, seeking on the outside what they could not get inside. The little animals of Francis, however, are to be censored: they are mean and smelly, these crows opposed themselves to the cleaning job.If we want to take ourselves for a ride [translator: mock ourselves] and tell fairy tales amongst ourselves, it’s OK, but the whole situation is comical: we are dealing with people who commit crimes just like in 2011 and 2012 (even before actually). And I do not think much has changed since then: the IOR [tr.: Vatican Bank] is still there (of course! Now ATMs work!), the Curia is still there and has not undergone "slimming", and scandals big and small still abound. The "perception" has certainly changed, but all this is certainly the mass media’s merit.Since we returned to the situation that existed before March 2013 why not dust off the famous dossier of the three cardinals? Why not ask for its publication? What sense is there to keep it secret? If you really want to clean up, ALL the names should come out: the internal instigators [translators: legal term, it means the person who orders others to execute of a crime] and the external perpetrators. Whoever they are ...

Former employee reports: "Catholic bishops complicit in scandalous sabotage of the pro-life cause in Canada!"
A few weeks ago, I posted an article about the Canadian election and the Pro-Life movement. Steve Jalsevac of LifeSiteNews wrote a letter to me challenging my thinking. With Steve's permission, I reprinted that letter.
Steve articulated a history of manipulation by the Bishops' Conference and literal thuggery by politicians on the issue. His letter is must read.
Lea Z. Singh is a freelance writer, activist, lawyer and mother. She was born behind the Iron Curtain in the days of Communism and raised in Edmonton. She is a graduate of the United World College of the Atlantic, Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School. Lea blogs at Culture Witness.
She also worked for the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.
In her most recent blog post. Lea writes about the letter which Steve sent to me and that I posted on the blog. She adds to the facts from her own experiences at the CCCB. It is chilling and revealing of a scandal of proportions not seen since the Winnipeg Statement.
This story has legs and it must be told.

This is a damning condemnation, the second in the last week, of the manipulation, the deceit and the betrayal of Catholics in Canada by their own bishops and the minions that surround them in their Conference.
Nothing less than a complete house-cleaning at the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and a public acknowledgement before God and Canadian Catholics of their failure to teach and sanctify whilst undermining the work of the laity for Life!
Not one penny. Not for CCCB, not for Development & Peace and not for Pastoral Campaigns with flashy names. Give funds to your priest directly or the "building fund" of your parish. The only way to teach these men because "It's all about money" is with money and lack thereof.

Is Jalsevac right? My experience at the CCCB
Jalsevac makes some very serious allegations about the Catholic Church's destructive role in the battle against abortion in Canada. Is he right?
As someone who worked at the CCCB headquarters for five years from 2005-2009, and had an inside view of the CCCB as Assistant Director of the Catholic Organization for Life and Family, I suspect that Jalsevac is shedding light on a real and scandalous problem with the Canadian Catholic Church.
...
The permanent sulk
Most people are not aware that the CCCB holds a petty adolescent grudge against Campaign Life Coalition and its news organization, LifeSiteNews - Steve Jalsevac's employer.
This grudge was one of the first things that I noticed when I first joined COLF in the summer of 2005. For instance, I was (unofficially) discouraged from circulating LifeSiteNews stories by email to the Bishops and Secretariat, or referencing LifeSiteNews as a source in internal documents. LifeSiteNews was considered extreme and lacking in credibility, and there was distrust towards the leadership of Campaign Life.
...
It's all about the money
The Catholic Church in Canada lives in fear. Not of the culture of death, but of Canadian tax laws.
The Canadian Income Tax specifies that charities must cap their involvement in political activity at 10% of their total activity. The Catholic Church is a registered charity, and it makes a lot of money with that status. Many parishioners all across Canada donate to their local parishes each Sunday with the understanding that they will receive tax deductions for their donations. How many people would stop donating, or would donate substantially less, if the Church was no longer able to provide them with tax receipts?
Nothing less than a complete house-cleaning at the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and a public acknowledgement before God and Canadian Catholics of their failure to teach and sanctify whilst undermining the work of the laity for Life!

"Catholic" priest threatens to sue Blogger
Yes, you read that correctly.
No, it is not me.
Do yourself a favour Father; before you sue her, do a search for Vox and Rosica!
But first, read this, just in case you failed Scripture in seminary.
Oh, you're on Twitter?

UPDATE: This is from Father Fitzpatrick's Twitter. The bottom line is that no priest should be Tweeting in this manner and should never, ever threaten a lawsuit against a layman or woman. Maybe now these clericalists will learn and humble themselves to be priests of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 6 Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)
Lawsuits among Believers
6 When one of you has a grievance against a brother, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous[a] instead of the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, matters pertaining to this life! 4 If then you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who are least esteemed by the church? 5 I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no man among you wise enough to decide between members of the brotherhood, 6 but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers?
7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8 But you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that even your own brethren.
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral,[b] nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[c][d] 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Catholic Priest threatens Mum of 3 with legal action, because she told him off for saying that the Holy Spirit is female., and then he lies on Twitter about her!
May 30, 2015 in Uncategorized
This is not a spoof post. This actually happened.
So my in previous article I wrote about how Fr James Martin SJ and Fr. Dan Fitzpatrick had been tweeting about how the Holy Spirit was female:
And how both of them had been sharing posts saying that ‘Ireland is for gay marriage because it is Catholic’.
And I gave them both a jolly good clip round the ear about openly contradicting the teachings of the Catholic church. Well, this morning I got a message from Fr Dan threatening me with legal action because I was ‘defaming his character’.
I messaged him back saying:
“Would you like to tell me the 2 statements that cause you upset? I would be happy to rephrase anything that is not correct.”
He messaged back with:
Edited out some of the abusive comments??! I did nothing of the sort! The truth is that there were no abusive comments to begin with. It is all there in black and white, clear as crystal for the whole world to read. There was however an extremely abusive comment from a lady who seems to hate me. I was able to track her IP address to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Does anyone know who Christine Wright from is?
Anyway, I wrote back to Fr. Dan saying:
“Again, if you tell me exactly what 2 statements are bothering you, I am happy to rephrase them. From a legal point of view, because I have offered to amend any offending statements, the problem can be resolved and there is no reason to take the matter further. Your solicitor will be able to explain this to you in more detail.
Besides, suing me because I pulled you up on calling the Holy Spirit ‘her’ is going to be rather difficult for you as what you said is in direct contradiction to the Catholic faith!
As I said before, the best thing you can do now is to admit you didn’t understand the ancient Hebrew, and stop listening to Fr James Martin. I’m throwing you a life line here! I gave you the chance to put your side across before I wrote the article. I’m giving you another chance now to redeem yourself. Don’t waste it. I will always support priests who defend the churches teaching. Come back to us Fr Dan. Don’t sell yourself out. I couldn’t bear to watch that happen to a young priest. All my prayers and fasting next week is for you xx”
A few hours later I was alerted to the fact that Fr. Dan had posted a rather bizarre Tweet:
WHAT???!!! I did nothing of the sort! What am I supposed to be apologising for?
I’m afraid to tell you that I did no such thing. This is a bare faced lie from Fr Dan, obviously trying to close down the whole affair because he realises by this point that I am not one to be scared off by threats or bullying. But wait.. there’s more! Then his best mate Fr Marc Lyden-Smith gets on board:
I’m sorry – am I missing something here?! Has everyone seen this alleged apology except me?! Can anyone tell me what I apologised for?!
Fr Marc is the other half of the duo ‘The PodFathers’ With Fr Dan. You can hear their pod casts at http://thepodfrs.blogspot.co.uk/
Actually Fr Marc seems rather pleasant in the above Tweet. Much more pleasant than he was last night:
Hmmm… Where’s all your feel good peace and love gone Fr. Marc?
And then of course there was this:
I’m not sure Faith in Our Families has ever been described as an offensive blog before?! But I guess there is a first time for everything! I also guess it’s good news that I have ‘seen sense’ and deleted all these fictitious libellous comments!
Please – Fr Dan, could you produce these libellous comments for us all to see? No, I didn’t think so.
What appalling behaviour from 2 Catholic priests. It’s just embarrassing. I will be speaking to their Bishop.
Well, time is ticking on. There is only a few hours left until midnight, when Fr Dan will launch his legal campaign against me. Although I’m not sure what suing a Mum of 3 with a recovering husband will do to for his already damaged reputation. He certainly wont get any money out of us – as regular readers of this blog know, our family has not had an income for over 18 months now!
Someone please notify Michael Voris would you?! And the CDF while you are at it! I’ve got a headache…
