Blase Cupich, Judas Priest

Not a day goes by without another bishop coming out and revealing what they really think. In a breaking story, LifeSiteNews has interviewed Blase Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago who reveals his heretical belief in the primacy of conscience over doctrine and faith and his willingness to cause sacrilege to the Holy Eucharist.

Blase Cupich's words are heretical. In an earlier time, a Pope would have already sanctioned him. Yet, it was this Pope that promoted him to the See of Chicago and invited him as a participant at the Synod. How dare he include the "elderly" in the same sentence as sodomites and lesbians.

In his own words:

Archbishop Blase Cupich of Chicago — who is participating in the Synod of the Family at Pope Francis’ personal invitation — said at a press scrum in the Vatican press office this afternoon that the conscience is "inviolable" and that he believes divorced and remarried couples could be permitted to receive the sacraments, if they have "come to a decision" to do so "in good conscience" - theological reasoning that he indicated in response to a follow-up question would also apply to gay couples.
“In Chicago I visit regularly with people who feel marginalized: the elderly, the divorced and remarried, gay and lesbian individuals and also couples. I think that we really need to get to know what their life is like if we’re going to accompany them,” he said.
When asked to give a concrete example of how he would accompany the divorced and remarried in their desire to receive the sacraments, Cupich replied: “If people come to a decision in good conscience then our job is to help them move forward and to respect that. The conscience is inviolable and we have to respect that when they make decisions, and I’ve always done that.”
When asked by LifeSiteNews if the notion of accompanying people to the sacraments who had a clear indication of conscience to do so also applied to gay couples in the Church who wish to receive Communion, Cupich indicated an affirmative answer.
“I think that gay people are human beings too and they have a conscience. And my role as a pastor is to help them to discern what the will of God is by looking at the objective moral teaching of the Church and yet, at the same time, helping them through a period of discernment to understand what God is calling them to at that point,” he said. “It’s for everybody. I think that we have to make sure that we don’t pigeonhole one group as though they are not part of the human family, as though there’s a different set of rules for them. That would be a big mistake.”

Blase Cupich is a disgrace to the priesthood and the Church, Under his logic, as long as a murderer or a rapist or a producer of child pornography or a thief does so in good conscience, then the Eucharist is theirs.

There is a set of rules for Holy Communion. Confession, penance and firm purpose of amendment. Where does this man wish to accompany them, on the road to Hell? We all know they are human beings and don't need to be lectured by this apostate bishop.

Let all these Judas Priests come out, one by one. Let them all come out into the light so we can see them and look upon their wicked and deformed faces and minds and hearts conformed to a modernist heresy and not to Christ.

Is Blase Cupich a homosexual? Is he being blackmailed? What is in his closet?

The Synod is a sham. Pope Francis is responsible.

Indeed, why is it that NONE of these EVIL BISHOPS aren't ex-communicated? Why are they allowed to get away with this crap? WHO is responsible, or WHO is it that can "liaicize" or "excommunicate"? WHO? HOW?

All psychopaths celebrate. This is the filth of moral relativism in its full expression.
The Judas Priest does not ask at all, how his reasoning helps agents of Satan, who seek for ways to excuse everything people do as right, as long they believe it to be so. He does not ask, what Satan will do with this "Do as you feel is right for you", when propagated by a churchman, one who promised to be a shepherd of souls?

I understand that some people have very serious objections to some teachings of the Church, and in all sincerity and intellectual capacity can not find a way to agree. God knows their hearts, and we believe that He guides them toward understanding. Yet I know also that most people seek for direction and find solace in what others do. It gives them a sense of security that others sin as well, and have no repentance. It gives them a sense of security when priests sin and have neither shame nor remorse, or when they remain indifferent to or even encourage the sins of others.

I arrived to this blog by a via a link about the "Vatican Power Broker" who was threatening a lawsuit. I was curious to find out the whole story. What greeted me as the page opened is a vile name-calling rant. So my original intent for my visit is preempted. The hatred here is hard to reconcile with the message of Christ. You certainly have a high regard for your own purity, and no Pharisee could hold a candle to your self assured sanctimony. Good luck with that. (I'd recommend a good examination of conscience, but I have a feeling that your inner conversations consist of self supportive affirmation and venomous thoughts against perceived heretics.)

Spoken like a true disciple of uncle teddie mccarrick. The problem is that people hear the voice of these wolves and think oh because there is one semi counterweight on the other side of the teeter totter they can stay in the pen w/them. It is these people, and I'm afraid life site news and probably this blog, are part of this problem. Which of you would stay in the Masons or in the Ku Klux Klan or even in the Evangelical Church and yet you remain in this church. When will the faithful flock walk out rather than remaining w/false teachers? As John says in his 2nd epistle (USCCB): "But now, Lady, I ask you, not as though I were writing a new commandment but the one we have had from the beginning: let us love one another. For this is love, that we walk according to His commandments; this is the commandment, as you heard from the beginning, in which you should walk. Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh; such is the deceitful one and the antichrist. Look to yourselves that you do not lose what we worked for but may receive a full recompense. Anyone who is so “progressive”* as not to remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God; whoever remains in the teaching has the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him in your house or even greet him; for whoever greets him shares in his evil works." [So many believe they are innocent because they write a blog post about the evil works, or an article, or complain to friends or family, but then they're right there w/an article about the pope said something against abortion, or dolan signed a letter or chaput intervened and every week (or more often) in communion w/them. Sometimes I wonder who indeed are the scribes and pharisees propping up these false priests?]

Vox, I hope you know that your blog is very helpful to some of us. It is a platform for us to hear from others and to speak at this very difficult time. Of course, our words give us away, in ways we do not fully understand.

Yet false accusations are a different story. Masonry, the Ku Klux Klan, an evangelical church? - I am shocked.

We're all sinner's but there are those who acknowledge sin ,and those who want to do away with sin ,the new Church of Humanity will have no sin,no hell ,no repentance ,no Judgement ,this contradicts Christ's Word ,which is the Word of God Himself .To tell people they can receive the Blessed Sacrament without been in a state of Grace is not only an insult to God ,but its leading those people astray and does not have their best interests at heart. There are sinners for Christ and sinners against Him .Its becoming politically incorrect now to call a sin a sin. There are those who are working at dismantling the Catholic faith ,and the sad thing is their misusing Mercy and Charity to do it,and those who oppose will be labeled bigots and pharisees.

I've noticed among very "pious" churchgoers, that it's becoming popular to think that you can remain in God's Grace if you keep a good image of yourself and love yourself unconditionally.

In other words, if you can justify yourself, justify all of your deeds in good conscience, then you continue to receive God's Grace. They go all the way to explain that some people are raised in families where there's no right or a wrong. There is no right or wrong, they say, just perspectives. So this person, brought up without that conscience, can do whatever he feels is right just because his heart tells him so.

I heard that according to some phsychiatry book, that's what defines a phsychopath.

In reply to anonymous who wrote: " What greeted me as the page opened is a vile name-calling rant. So my original intent for my visit is preempted. The hatred here is hard to reconcile with the message of Christ".

Vile name calling? Does the word Sodomite offend you? It is historically correct.
May i remind you God HATES Sin? For example: " Six things there are, which the Lord HATETH,.." Proverbs 6:16.

Are you aware of what God did to Sodom and Gomorrah? Is HE a hater in your worldly opinion?

Sodomy and the excusing of it bring an UNACCEPTABLE offering to the Lord, the same as the offering of cursed CAIN. Lot was commanded to not turn back or to look at the destruction of Sodom.
There can be NO second thoughts for excusing sin that knowingly offends God.

Yes, we are all sinners, but we MUST repent and NOT continue in that sin. Do you understand how God rejoices when one repents? "I say to you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven upon one sinner that doth penance, more than upon ninety-nine just who need not penance. LUKE 15:7[douay-Rheims].

By excusing sexually deviant behaviour, we STEAL that person's ability to honestly return to Christ, and the JOY in Heaven at the return of that lost sheep!

What is currently being proposed/politicised in modern society and even within the vatican [how my heart aches at this synod] is that a homosexual/gay/lesbian may CONTINUE in that sin and be brainwashed into thinking that behaviour is acceptable before Almighty God. Even worse, is the Priest who ACCEPTS and PROMOTES rebellion of The Holy Word! Bad Shepherds abound...Christ sees them all. God will NOT be mocked.

I solemnly ask ALL sodomites/lesbians/trans-etc's...Answer me this question: How many Sodomites/lesbians/transexuals would be allowed, according to the Holy Bible, to sit before the Throne of an Almighty Holy God? I think you know.None.

In my opinion, If you want a 'feel-good' church, there are plenty of others who will accommodate you.The Catholic Church is NOT up for sale.

By the way Anon, Pharisees were Jewish, did not have the New Testament and did not believe in Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.By using this term you show yourself to be quite Biblically illiterate accusing Catholics of being ' pharisees'.

Hatred? The devil is cunning and vile, mixing truth with lies, causing confusion.
It's funny how all of the accusers - who call out faithful bloggers, who call out lifesitenews as 'haters', always post anonymously. Perhaps you are among the Rosica crowd who blaspheme the Holy Family openly, who call our Lord's words 'derogatory' .. Vile words? You mean like sodomites, sexual perverts, adulterers ? Those are all words used in Holy Scripture, I suggest you pick up a bible and become familiar with them. I wonder have you commented on Fr. Rosica's blog, or arch. Durocher's blog and called them Haters? Haters of the Truth, haters of Christ and HIS church?
There is no hatred here on this blog my friend, just calling sin by its name .."woe to those who CALL EVIL GOOD AND GOOD EVIL"
Vox has never stated he is 'holy' or without sin, nor does he give that impression. In fact, many times acknowledges himself as a sinner (as we all are) may I suggest in all charity that you examine your conscience properly.
'Perceived Heretic' no my friend, anyone, be they clergy (even in the highest ranks) or lay, who openly, boldly, for everyone to see/hear & witness, defies, undermines, rejects and attempts to change the Truth, the Teachings of the ONE HOLY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, the teachings of Christ Himself, the words of God, then they my friend are not 'perceived' heretics. THEY ARE HERETICS and need to be called by name, out of charity for others that they may be spared from falling into their 'TRAPS AND SNARES'
God is a loving Father, but He is also a Just Father.

On fire as usual Vox.Your coverage of the accommodation of the world being endorsed by these antichrists is exceptional.
Cupich is damned by his own words.

Heresy and apostasy are a very poor substitute for bringing ones conscience into concurrence with the Truth of the magisterial teachings of the Church.

Embracing iniquity and justifying it is the wide path taken by many to hell.

Cupich serves the devil.

Funny how he never wants to accompany traditional Catholics, you know the ones he chooses to marginalize. Too bad he wants to accompany these people on a path to hell

I guess in Blase the Heretic's bible the ten commandments are written in erasable marker.

We cannot leave the Church as we have Christ's own words and promise that the gates of hell will not prevail against her. And yes, we can speak of and against heretics and then turn around and praise something 'good' they stated or did. Why? Because with true Faith one has hope, hope that anyone through the Grace of God can repent and 'come back' . Just look at the example given to us by St.Paul. We are all instruments in God's divine plan, He plays the tune and we must always be subject to His will. Christ assured us by choosing Judas, that we will have traitors and Judases among us - did that make the other Apostles Pharisees because they were among his company? No, surely not, we must remain in Truth, place our entire trust in Jesus, beg for the grace of perseverance from the Holy Ghost and plead for the intercession of our Blessed Mother. We must through these trials remain faithful to the One True Holy Roman Catholic Church.
