Had they been acting like that in the local library they'd have been shushed or asked to leave but that is because a library has a tradition of silence and men there have respect for others patrons in the library.
The Catholics inside the consecrated Church ought to know better but neither they nor their parents (include the priest prolly) understand that what is about to happen is that Jesus, working through His Ministerial priesthood, is going to sacramental re-present The Holocaust at the consecrated altar in this consecrated church.
Were these people alive and at calvary, they'd prolly have organized a yodeling competition because Jesus took, like forever, to die on the Cross and it was boring...
