There are atheists and popes in hell

"There are those who say 'I am very Catholic, I always go to Mass, I belong to this and that association'," the head of the 1.2 billion-member Roman Catholic Church said, according to a Vatican Radio transcript.
He said that some of these people should also say "'my life is not Christian, I don't pay my employees proper salaries, I exploit people, I do dirty business, I launder money, (I lead) a double life'."
"There are many Catholics who are like this and they cause scandal," he said. "How many times have we all heard people say 'if that person is a Catholic, it is better to be an atheist'."

These are the words of the Bishop of Rome. Words of confusion, obfuscation and disorder.

To whom much is given, much is expected." Yes, hypocritical Catholics should know better. But make no mistake, it is never, "better to be an atheist." Any cleric that would say, let along think such a thing, is either deluded or evil. You pick.

The reality is, the atheist will be in Hell and badly-behaving, unrepentant Catholics will be deeper in Hell along with bishops and even a few popes.

It is never "better to be an atheist."

This kind of talk from any priest, let along the Bishop of Rome is a betrayal of Christ. It is always better to be Catholic because of the grace of baptism that may elicit death-bed repentance. The atheist does not have this.

The atheist will now say, "see, why do I have to be a nasty Catholic like you?"

See now the problem with the mind of this Bergoglio? Even if he does not intend to preach error, he does. Just as his comment, "who am I to judge," was used, so will this one be.

The atheist will, objectively speaking, go to Hell.

And the Pope that did not work to convert him will be looking back at him for all eternity.

Why did God allow this Heretic Bergoglio to sit at the throne of Peter? He spews filth from his mouth daily and doesn't care a dam!As Benedict says -our Church will be smaller, yet, purer in its Traditional Mass and practice. Most Catholics who attend the Novus Ordo are ,in all but name,Protestants anyway. They go along with the world and all its sinful activities-no need to mention them,we know what they are. Most Novus Ordo Priest don't preach the Faith and haven't for fifty years and they watch while attendance at Mass falls away.Half of Parishes will close within the next ten years because of the emasculated effeminate Mass and Homilys.Lord save us!Let them close and allow us smaller purer Traditionalists to make Holy Mother Church Great again. If its house Masses again -as in Penal times .then, let it be so.Start in my house with my blessing.Vox keep writing!

Well, it's not like you could expect a pope to consider the possibility that a Catholic might realize their sinfulness and repent you know...

The bit about "I lead a double life . . ." cracked me up! As the old saying goes - "What Peter says about Paul tells me a lot more about Peter than it does about Paul"!

Bergoglio reveals himself as one who believes in "doing good" as a road to salvation - if he believes in such a thing at all. As I said many times, he is very focused on material things, on income inequalities. Te "doing good" that is evangelization is now a sin. Sharing material things, when 40 year old Muslim refugee children want stuff and women is now the highest virtue. Bergoglio can't get these children out of his mind. I saw one of them them, who took residence in a beautiful hotel in Sweden demanding a house, for he wanted to get married, and to be married one needs a house. Someone explained to the child that many Swedes would be very grateful for an opportunity to live for free in a nice hotel, but he didn't care for such "realities of life". (Bergoglio is also a realist - or so he claims.)
Bergoglio's pride, expressed in his extreme concern for everyone who presents himself as a victim, when IN REALITY they are an ungrateful liar, a concern for their unjustified demands, never spiritual needs, shows lack of understanding of what Jesus has taught us.

We are taught to seek the Kingdom of Heaven first, and the rest will be added on to us. Bergoglio wants an equal distribution of stuff first and foremost. Not once did he encourage Europeans to help people closer to home, where they are most comfortable. He is set on destroying Europe, so a cheaper and simpler solution will not occur to him. To hell with pseudo-Christians who won't submit to his demands. Here he shows himself very similar in thinking to the 40 year old child refugee.

Your words are very often not pretty, but they are true. I'll take Truth over pretty any day. Keep speaking it, brother.

UN declares famine in South Sudan. PF & George Soros should be hastening to their aid but no doubt will have excuses not to. They would prefer to follow the countless atheists & too many popes/bishops who are awaiting them in Hell.

Are you suggesting that the pope is a Pelagian? How can that be when he keeps saying that we are the Pelagians? That would make the pope a hypocrite, and all know that that can't be!

Again, it's all about Money. The Vatican saw that Catholics are quitting and churches are closed and of course the "donations" are gone, so to substitute and try to recover, the wealthy Cardinals and Bishops who worry about their wealth devised a plot presented to their puppet pope:

"Fine, you -"Catholics"- left us, we'll open the church and give Communion to others, and everybody, to atheists, to transsexuals, to gays and lesbians, to child molesters and pedophiles, to married priests and female deacons and priestesses, to abortionists, to the civilly remarried, to those in cohabitation, etc, we will have more revenues, and our wealth and bank accounts will be saved. Go to hell, Catholics!!"

I highly doubt it. He has many bishop friends, who like their comforts and their sinful pleasures, yet he promotes them and takes them for close advisers. More likely, he is trying to bully into submission Catholics who do not want their children and grandchildren to be forced to submit to Allah.
Islam is NOT a religion of peace. Any well-read Muslim knows it. For some reason other than justice and concern for the suffering Bergoglio insists on lying about it.

Excuse me, but my Ukrainian Greek Catholic pastor is a married priest.

In the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the other Eastern Catholic Churches, if a ***married man*** wants to become a priest, he must obtain the permission of his wife. If she says no, that's the end of it. If she says yes, then he goes to the seminary and she receives a special formation.

As I've said before, if the Latin Church wants married priests, they should adopt ALL the rules and regulations for Eastern Catholic married priests (including abstinence from marital relations - I guarantee that Latin women will be up in arms about this one!).

Otherwise, DON'T do it!!!

A married priesthood will be a disaster. It should also be ended for the east as well and if they do not accept it, play a violin concerto for the fools and send them on their way back to adultery city!

Not gonna argue. It does not bother me one bit if anyone disagrees.

Too bad.

I will never believe that Pope Benedict XVI resigned voluntarily. I will forever believe he was forced to resign, either through the threat of killing his brother, or something else. God may have a bigger plan. Perhaps it is time to fulfill the 3rd Secret of Fatima. I don't know. Noone knows, but Berglogio appears to have committed heresy with the last written response to the Amoris Laeticia by Bergogio's Cardinal (I can't think of his name)who indicated that the Vatican was approving of and was going to continue allowing people in grave sin to partake in communion.

Perhaps we are near the end times. I would like to believe that my daily prayers for my atheist but good son are not all for nought.

Basically what he's saying is it doesn't matter how good a Catholic one is... if your conscience isn't as "evolved" and "enlightened" his, then go ahead and be an atheist....

Yet the consciences of people who aren't even troubled by adultery are welcome....

The fact that the Pope isn't being struck by lighting is making me a atheist.
