Ironically you will hear it at the archbishop’s own liturgy today, which was broadcast on YouTube. The ad hominem attacks on him are unjustified and shameful.

What is shameful is that the Premier of Ontario reduced church attendance to 10 when there is no evidence it is being transmitted at Mass, not with all the precautions being taken.

What is more shameful is that our bishops are outdoing the government diktats by being even more restrictive and in some cases violating provincial law and human rights. How? By demanding that those who claim they cannot wear a mask for medical reasons provide evidence of this and advise the Ministry of Disinfection or they will not be admitted to church. This is a violation of privacy and the emergency order.

Please, save your clutching of pearls for someone else.
