The bishop did the right thing, removed the altar and had it burned. He is talking like a bishop as well, so thank you to him for doing so. Hopefully the people in his area will show their appreciation for his refusal to just gloss over it and talking about "healing" and forgiveness and we ought to pray for them, and so on. There is a time when tolerance ends. This is one. These people are straight out of hell, and are screaming back into it. One of the prostitutes admitted they travel around to profane the altar of God.

Remenber reading about a Bishop in a Italian town or city, who was selling off items from the Church, one day the laity arrived for Mass to discover their much loved statue of the Virgin Mary was missing,the Bishop was dragged from the Church, stripped and beaten, had to be rescued by the police. It turned out he had sent the statue to be cleaned, but he stopped selling off items from the Church. People need to start defending their Holy places against anyone who wants to defile them.
