Francis and computer keyboards

Nah, it couldn't be.

It couldn't be that the Pope read this blog post which was from last Sunday.

And then went to Assisi and said this:

Prayer and concrete acts of cooperation help us to break free from the logic of conflict and to reject the rebellious attitudes of those who know only how to protest and be angry. Prayer and the desire to work together are directed towards a true peace that is not illusory…it is not the virtual approach of one who judges everything and everyone using a computer keyboard, without opening his eyes to the needs of his brothers and sisters, and dirtying his hands for those in need…Peace means Welcome, openness to dialogue, the overcoming of closed-mindedness, which is not a strategy for safety, but rather a bridge over an empty space.” Francis in Assisi

Nah, it could't be.

Well, then again...

"You only need a keyboard, a screen or a hand-held device. In the wild, crazy world of the blogosphere, ... there is no accountability, no code of ethics, and no responsibility for one’s words and actions.  It can be an international weapon of mass destruction, crossing time zones, borders and space. In its wake is character assassination, destruction of reputation, calumny, libel, slander and defamation. ...“Catholics” have turned the Internet into a cesspool of hatred, venom and vitriol, ... character assassination on the Internet by those claiming to be Catholic and Christian has turned it into a graveyard of corpses strewn all around. Often times the obsessed, scrupulous, self-appointed, nostalgia-hankering virtual guardians of faith or of liturgical practices are very disturbed, broken and angry individuals, who never found a platform or pulpit in real life and so resort to the Internet and become trolling pontiffs and holy executioners! In reality they are deeply troubled, sad and angry people." Rosica in Brooklyn

I guess Tom's got a new job as the Papal Speechwriter.

Perhaps, Tom; you can explain what Papa Bergoglio meant when he called people "self-absorbed, Promethean, neo-Pelagians." That sounds pretty "angry."

Guardians of faith eh!That rules Bergoglio out doesn't it.?In reality it is the true Catholics who are exposing the malevolent diabolical machinations of this absurd man and his minions!

That's what I said! Did you think the buck stopped at +Rosica? https://nonvenipacem.com/2016/09/22/take-heart-faithful-catholic-writers-francis-reads-your-blogs/

I might be wrong, but that should keep Mark Thomas busy.

No Mark,I don't think the buck stopped at my friend Tom.

I also fully believe that Bergoglio had full knowledge of his vexatious and sinful lawsuit against me and my family. Through the blowback of the Catholic blogging world, Cardinal Burke and the embarrassment to Toronto's most expensive legal operation, Fogler Rubinoff who backed out of his scheme, Rome backed down.

What say you, Mark Thomas?

Have you noticed, how Bergoglio doesn't present any actual Catholic teaching or address the concerns of us, alleged haters? We claim that 80% of these pure refugees are young males. When one looks at them, one sees well-dressed, well-fed youths, who themselves admit to wanting the financial benefits Europe (especially Germany) offers. They do not talk about saving women and children.

When one observes Bergoglio's attacks on millions of reasonable people, who have to live with the violence and chaos brought about by their governments (+ Soros and Bergoglio in overdrive) love for these Muslims (who, after breeding with European women, while burqas are already advertised as a fashion statement on national TV, will not allow their offspring to believe in Jesus Christ), not supported by any concern for Europeans and THEIR survival, as well as survival of Christianity, one's response is not shame, but disbelief and anger. How can these people be so evil?

This is not hate, Jorge Bergoglio, and you know it, This is a sense of responsibility, rationality and love for God, family and country. To Bergoglio a nation state is a thing of the past. He is well on the way "forward". He and his self-proclaimed elites have decided on a future of us all, against our wills, behind our backs.

May God forgive them. It is hard for me to do so, but I try.

"it is not the virtual approach of one who judges everything and everyone using a computer keyboard, without opening his eyes to the needs of his brothers and sisters, and dirtying his hands for those in need."

Jesus never said you can never judge others. He said remove the sin from your own life first before attempting to remove it from others. First remove the beam from your own eye - clean up your life first THEN you will have the credibility to remove it from others. A drunkard can't tell another to quit drinking. The whole purpose was fraternal correction.

Secondly he said the measure by which you judge will be the standard by which you will be judged. He gave a warning on how to judge, not to "never judge" as we are always told.

Thirdly, there is an assumption that just because a person is publicly critical of a corrupt and immoral hierarchy, that they are not charitable in other spheres of their lives, which is a total smear and is simply a lie.

The Modernist swine are just getting angry when someone shares the wisdom of Christ with them. They hate you when you check up on them, and prove them wrong when compared to past Catholic teaching - and the hierarchy is mad about losing control over information it gives to the laity. Any poor bastard can check up on them and they can't stand the exposure. "How dare you question me - peasant! I have a PhD in Theology!!"

Dear Vox,

I can't wait for the day when they will stop persecuting you. May Our Lady protect you and all of us.

Someone tell the Pope that peace will come when someone is defeated and subdued. I prefer to subdue to being subdued, not sure his preference.

Of course Francis keeps track of the Catholic blogs. Fr. Tom is his go to guy. What they have is most likely a "Clinton War Room" operation. They need to know what we write so that they can strategically neutralize our arguments before they become mainstream.

Notice how Francis has stopped using the "god of surprises"? I will bet my last dollar that he rode that "god" for all it was worth and all the way to the Papal suite at the Ricca Hostel. And when he tried it out on the big stage, he got whacked, and whacked hard. So he buried it for good.

And we wonder why he hates the neo-Prometian Palagians.

Vox's article here caused me to laugh out loud, because it's so true! So many good comments, too.

Poor Bergolio...he doesn't comprehend that those of us who actually believe in the timeless truths of the Catholic Church would dare to resist his horrible "changes" to the Church. He just doesn't get why anyone would not go along with him. I recall once that Bergolio mentioned that some of the elderly members of his household, when he was a child, were far too focused on sin, or that there was too strong an emphasis on not sinning. He gave an example, but I don't remember it. It's possible that he's rebelling against that. He's never really understood what the Church is all about, IMO.

P.S. Vox, do you know if they keep tabs on the other TC blogs and websites (e.g. Catholic Family News, The Remnant etc)? Just wondering.

I have no doubt, Margaret. My Statcounter shows that vatican.va is a regular visitor from multiple I.P. addresses.

I'm not suggesting that it was this blog that caused the remark, I was being a little cheeky, but you never know....

These guys don't apparently know the meaning of the word "irony". They are always accusing us of the things they do!
ugh. crazymaking, all of it.

He is evidently very upset about traditionalists using the Internet to highlight the errors of NuChurch. If he hasn't seen your blog personally I expect there would be at least a half-dozen that he is aware of including Rorate Coeli.

Deep Sigh, Vox! I just read at Lifesite News that the German Bishops Conference have now released their new "version" of the Bible which, amongst other heresies in translation I am sure, suggest that Our Blessed Lady was not a virgin. Read it for yourself - your brain is better than mine and maybe you could feature it for us all. If this is so (and it sure looks like it!)then Blasphemy doesn't quite cover it, does it!!!?
Wretched, wretched men - with a demon leader!

Good work Vox. You are getting to them. They are guilty as sin and are over-reacting as the guilty are wont.

Hmmm... Maybe you, Michael Matt and John Vennari should compare notes re hits from Vatican.va.

Em! So the Pharisees are reading blogs that defend the *One* true faith, defending the truth against modern day heresies.
Let it be known then, that thousands of lay faithful are witnessing our lord’s trial over again.
(C Jorge)...Caiaphas the high priest.
(The Sadducees)...Team Bergoglio.
(Nicodemus & Joseph of Arimathea)...Holy Priests, Cardinals and Bishops, who are silently praying and publicly defending our Lord during these dark days.

C.J. said...

Of course "they" read this blog. And every other blog where the topic is "them" and their evil workings in the dark. The underlings of both Bergoglio scour every page to see who is buying their crap and who is not. That is how they gauge oublic opinion. It's where they find their tools and useful idiots. The blogosphere is also where they find their enemies, the soldiers of Christ, the peasants carrying rakes and torches like the angry mob going after Frankenstein's monster. Francis...Frankenstein. Creations of madmen, formed in the darkness out the decayed parts of dead criminals. Dr. Franknstein...prison corpses. Pope Francis...dead heretics. Coincidence? Hmmmmm.

An important declaration to sign, saying that we faithful Catholics will stick to the Church's teachings:
