Will you join Francis in praising Martin Luther?

Luther In Hell, Egbert van Heemskerck, d. 1710

These pathetic Romans from Bergoglio on down can honour Luther all they want.

I won't.

Who's next, Calvin? How about Henry VIII? Maybe the wretched murderer Elizabeth I or Mahomet? Shall we honour them too along with David Bowie?

Luther was an antichrist and he remains so, notwithstanding whatever corruption existed in Rome - none of which justified his actions which has lead to the loss of tens, nay - hundreds of millions of souls.

They are simply, wrong.

Important - Lutheran World Federation, Pontifical Council for Christian Unity launch "Common Prayer" service extolling Martin Luther and the Reformation

By their fruits...

Last year saw unprecedented expressions of "openness" on the part of some Vatican officials (including the Pope) and official Catholic structures towards Lutheranism.
First there was the support expressed by a Vatican spokesman for the renaming of a square in the central part of Rome after Martin Luther, support that was never disowned by any higher ecclesiastical authority in Rome. Adventists and Lutherans had been trying since 2009 to get a square in Rome named for Luther, but the effort garnered success -- and Vatican support -- only last year.

Where did you find the painting of Luther in hell?

I Google "Luther in Hell" to read what has been said about it and clicked on images. The same artist did one of Calvin.

The End Times must surely be upon us and this is Satan's last stand. It is hard to conceive that it can get any worse. The past sixty years have produced turmoil and no guidance from our Popes & Hierarchies who are themselves up to their neck in this degradation. It is unacceptable that two of them are canonised and one about to be. Even Pope Emeritus Benedict did nothing to overturn what he himself as head of the CDF at the time of Vatican II promoted - ecumenism & dialogue with non-Catholics who did not seek it, even to the extent of ripping apart our Liturgy of Ages & Sacraments, making our churches more protestant in appearance, bringing our faith on a par with pagans, no interest in evangelising or of catechising the young. Lack of standards in the Catholic priesthood - the anonymity of secular dress to take the place of the Roman collar, accepting all candidates to their seminaries without due process leading to an unprecedented upsurge in actively homosexual men presenting themselves for ordination & the consequent abomination of sodomy & pedophilia which has scandalised the world and to date has not been fully redressed. Cardinals & Bishops involved in either actual child abuse or sheltering abusers still hold office and even get invited to the Synod on the Family. The present softness towards SSM & LGBT agenda, to accompany people where they are rather than urging them to reform their lives & repent their sins, the assault on the Sacrament of Matrimony and acceptance of cohabitation. One could go on and on and yet we are told it could even get worse. How worse? We have been scourged, spat upon, verbally abused & demoralised by those in high office who are supposed to be the Apostles of Christ but who appear to be Apostles of Satan.

Somehow, some way, PF must be replaced with a faithful Orthodox Catholic man dedicated to restoring all that has been tossed away so flagrantly since Vatican II. When TLM, the seven Sacraments & Catechesis are re-establshed through the intervention & triumph of Our Blessed Lady the CC, as we of an age once knew it, can be resurrected from the ashes and placed again on the pinnacle it once occupied.

I've been praising him for years. He was an accomplished follower of my Dad. Demolishing the unity of Christian Europe is a grand accomplishment. -Screwtape

A holy priest once told me that he had read (now I don't remember the source) that some mystic revealed that all the demons in Germany returned to hell to welcome Luther...

Rome has lost the faith , my friends...Rome has lost the faith.. (part from one or two of the hierarchy) But how come nobody denounced that horrendous heretical video? Really it Leaves you floundered.

Only God can help us now, we have fallen too far down and souls are inert and leaders are rubbish - generaly speaking , apart from one or two...

In the Sacred Hearts, Our only Hope, and the few good priests left...we have to wait and pray this all out, and react when called to do so, that's what I'm trying to do with great difficulty...the wind has been taken out of my "Catholic sails" with this pontificate which is pretty useless in combatting the evils - subtle or otherwise - in the world. We have no backup in defence of eternal truths and morals. O yes no doubt about it Rome has lost the faith. It is as plain as can be...

Dear Vox,

I really didn't know that, at the traditionalist hell, the demons dress themselves with clothes from the 17th century. At least, that's more fashionable than the blabbering about the vision of Luther being nailed on his head by demons.

And do you think why the liberals don't believe it, huh? The Never Ending History looks more plausible.

Don't you really know why the world is infested with terror movies with similar images? Traditionalists have more influence than they think.

Don't believe in Hell? You will when you get there.

As for the painting, it was 17th century!

Egbert van Heemskerck, or Egbert Jaspersz van Heemskerk was a Haarlem Dutch Golden Age painter of genre works who died in London in 1704.

Of course the painting is from that date, my dear friend Vox! Contemporary. It implies that the demons are dressing blue jeans nowadays, and they've tattoos.

And you keep affirming that Bergoglio is nonsensical, huh?

Vox Cantoris said...

While they praise Bowie's art. This is art!

You didn't answer my question.

I believe. Hell, the Lake of Fire, is the glory of God. Now, you can do your homework to study it.

Enjoy it when you get there.

You don't have to die to experience Hell ,society devoid of God is hell on Earth ,a pale comparison of the real thing .

Traders to the Catholic Church and the Martyrs who truly defended Christ and His Church with their blood. These heroic Martyrs who washed their robes in the Blood of Christ. While the Judas Iscariots in the Vatican betray Christ not by a kiss but by a smile.

I'll enjoy it, my dear friend Vox! You too. Bergoglio, Benedict XVI, Kasper, everyone else will too.

Did you never learn about the doctrine of the Uncreated Light of God and how it's perceived as hell or paradise? So, I invite you to search and to learn about it. It's better than let your liver to explode with a pseudo-Catholicism of yours, which curiously dismisses the submission to the Pope.

You'll see that Dante was even a lower art than Bowie.
