One of the things that Fr. Wolfe mentioned in his homily was that the only way to understand Mother Angelica was that of a bride defending her Spouse. That motivated her to do everything that she did out of love for Him.
I hope that when she gets to Heaven, she will, like St. Therese, spend her Heaven doing good on earth.

I echo Torchofthefaith.....SO BEAUTIFUL was that Mass, I cried! Oh Dear Lord, if only this were to inspire a whole bunch of our Bishops to incorporate ad orientem Masses, not only televised but at our local Parishes! This was something Mother dearly wanted and FOUGHT FOR albeit unsuccessfully, until her Funeral Mass. The Lord has indeed given her a gift, and us as well!
I totally agree with you, Barona. On The World Over special with Raymond Arroyo, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League said that Bishop Sheen was the first cleric to use TV, while Mother Angelica founded ea media empire. (I'd love to meet him in person.)

This was a beautiful offering of Holy Mass for such a great and good woman.
We pray that this can open the door to ad orientem Masses being televised without blinkered resistance.
