“A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, 'You are mad; you are not like us.” ― St. Antony the Great
The pastor of Our Lady of the Assumption parish on Bathurst Street in the west end of Toronto has been suddenly removed and sent to live "in residence" at St. Boniface.
He has been replaced by the pastor of Prince of Peace parish in Scarborough who will continue on as pastor of both. Odd, no?
Surely the pastor of much closer neighbouring parishes could administer in the interim.
The bigger question is, what is going on at the Church of Our Lady? What do the people know?
Did someone get a fancy new Architectural Digest kitchen as at Our Lady of the Rosary under the Boys of St. Basil?
Once again, there is no Mass for you, but there is vaccine, I mean, a gene therapy, courtesy of Jesus. A gene therapeutic tested on the fetal stem cells of the kidney of an aborted child. And this is a gift to us from Our Lord Jesus Christ!
What blasphemy!
Who writes this bile? Neil MacCarthy should be embarrassed to have this garbage come out of this office. I suppose the logic with the prayers it that it came from the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Time to repeat this quote from the Prophet Ezechiel.
Israel’s False Shepherds
34 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 Mortal, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel: prophesy, and say to them—to the shepherds: Thus says the Lord God: Ah, you shepherds of Israel who have been feeding yourselves! Should not shepherds feed the sheep? 3 You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fatlings; but you do not feed the sheep. 4 You have not strengthened the weak, you have not healed the sick, you have not bound up the injured, you have not brought back the strayed, you have not sought the lost, but with force and harshness you have ruled them. 5 So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and scattered, they became food for all the wild animals. 6 My sheep were scattered, they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill; my sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with no one to search or seek for them.
7 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 8 As I live, says the Lord God, because my sheep have become a prey, and my sheep have become food for all the wild animals, since there was no shepherd; and because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep, but the shepherds have fed themselves, and have not fed my sheep; 9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord: 10 Thus says the Lord God, I am against the shepherds; and I will demand my sheep at their hand, and put a stop to their feeding the sheep; no longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, so that they may not be food for them.
God the True Shepherd
11 For thus says the Lord God: I myself will search for my sheep, and will seek them out. 12 As shepherds seek out their flocks when they are among their scattered sheep, so I will seek out my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places to which they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness. 13 I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited parts of the land. 14 I will feed them with good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel shall be their pasture; there they shall lie down in good grazing land, and they shall feed on rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will make them lie down, says the Lord God. 16 I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak, but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with justice.
17 As for you, my flock, thus says the Lord God: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats: 18 Is it not enough for you to feed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pasture? When you drink of clear water, must you foul the rest with your feet? 19 And must my sheep eat what you have trodden with your feet, and drink what you have fouled with your feet?
20 Therefore, thus says the Lord God to them: I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21 Because you pushed with flank and shoulder, and butted at all the weak animals with your horns until you scattered them far and wide, 22 I will save my flock, and they shall no longer be ravaged; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.
23 I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24 And I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them; I, the Lord, have spoken.
25 I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild animals from the land, so that they may live in the wild and sleep in the woods securely. 26 I will make them and the region around my hill a blessing; and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing. 27 The trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase. They shall be secure on their soil; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I break the bars of their yoke, and save them from the hands of those who enslaved them. 28 They shall no more be plunder for the nations, nor shall the animals of the land devour them; they shall live in safety, and no one shall make them afraid. 29 I will provide for them splendid vegetation, so that they shall no more be consumed with hunger in the land, and no longer suffer the insults of the nations. 30 They shall know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord God. 31 You are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture,[a] and I am your God, says the Lord God.
The video below is of a priest ordained in Toronto by Thomas Cardinal Collins in 2018. I do not know this priest nor anything about him other than what he says in this video published by the communications department of the Archdiocese of Toronto. I am sure he is a good man, a faithful man. This post is not about him, but it is for him.
It is about the fact that this thoughtful, persevering masculine priest has been ordered by his pastor, Andrew MacBeth, to cooperate in the complete shuttering of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Parish in the tony district of Avenue Road in Toronto. In this community of $4,000,000.00 homes and Filipino nannies, the people have indicted MacBeth, tried him and found him wanting. Obedience, it seems, works for some, not for others.
This is what happens when you choose to cower in fear rather than use the example of the founder of this Archdiocese, Bishop Michael Power - a man who died ministering to his dying kin from the Old Sod. An example that his Irish descendent Collins seems to have forgotten. This is what happens when you disobey the Cardinals niggardly munificence to provide a service of Holy Communion for ten rather than the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for ten. This is what happens when you can't even open your doors for the Filipino nannies to come and pray.
They fight back the only way they can. And they go elsewhere. (If you can't find a priest for the sacraments, write me at voxcantoris@rogers.com)
Why has Cardinal Thomas "No Mass for You" Collins not ordered MacBeth and others (Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Moore Park is another rich parish in lockdown) to open their doors? I know many priests who are doing everything they can within the bounds of Premier Bumpkin's politburo diktats and the Cardinal's cowardly failure of leadership. Not here though.
What does this example of MacBeth do to a new priest? What example does MacBeth give to Father MacDonald and what will Cardinal Collins do to save this young priest from becoming Andy MacBeth? I'm sure that St. Margaret of Scotland expects more out of the MacBeth and MacDonald clans than this.
On February 10, Cardinal Collins issued a letter to "All clergy and staff" of the Archdiocese of Toronto which I have in my possession. It is not yet posted on the web page, when it is, I will add it to this post.
In his letter, Cardinal Collins writes of the upcoming relaxation of the Ontario provincial lockdown diktats with regions of the province going into colour zones in the reverse from the lockdown. The Archdiocese of Toronto extends through multiple areas. The Cardinal expects that Toronto, Peel and York will move to "Grey" which still means the limit of religious services to ten (thanks to our Jewish brothers, or it would be "0" and areas of Durham and Simcoe to perhaps "Red" or "Orange" which would mean a return to 30% occupancy.
Interesting that His Eminence states that he states that notwithstanding provincial diktats, municipalities often, and I suggest illegally, move beyond these. In a not so obvious way, Collins confirms this writer's sources that the Ontario Government did not ban Holy Communion on the tongue and that Queen's Park was "shocked" that some municipalities and public health apparatchiks went that far. Collins, rather than protest these heinous actions, went along with the heinous interference in Catholic worship by uber scarf aficionado Dr, Eileen "Cruella" de Villa, Toronto's Chief Medical Officer of Health.
A more interesting point in the Cardinal's letter is what follows. In a classic case of clutching ones pearls, His Eminence bemoans that retail will be allowed to open to a percentage of capacity but that no indication that this will be the case for churches has been given. He indicates that he, along with other faith leaders have been approaching Premier Ford on this but it seems the unchurched ignoramus at Queen's Park is not budging. Collins then indicates that if there is no move on this matter he will be releasing a public statement next week.
Too little, too late, Your Eminence, as my next post on Andy MacBeth and the collapse of a once bustling parish will reveal.
It was eight years ago this very morning. I, like most of you in the eastern time zone, was getting dressed for work, it was the 6AM news. Pope Benedict XVI had renounced the papacy and called for a Conclave to elect a new pope. I was dumbfounded and left in near shock. The next few weeks were filled with uncertainty and fear, but hopeful that with a College that elected him and added to by him, we would emerge with the right man. Could it be Schola? Perhaps even Burke? Naive was I and anesthetized by the illusion and the hopes so falsely raised during that Pontificate. Yet, one thing will stand out and for that, we must be truly thankful, - Summorum Pontificum. This is the one act that has given us the weapon to battle. Bergoglio will not take it, he would not dare. A few weeks later, a man walked out on the loggia. I knew something was wrong. It was my view that the Conclave was too fast, it gave me the feeling that it was not sincere, that somehow, they did not listen to the Holy Spirit. As he came out and I watched him, with that cold stare, the silence, the "good evening," I felt the urge to vomit; it lasted for hours. My wife felt the same and I have come to know of hundreds of others with similar reactions. Jorge Mario Bergoglio? Who was he? I did not know who he was, but I knew, it was not good. What I do know is that Joseph Ratzinger abandoned his children to the wolves. Perhaps we did not pray enough that he would not "flee" for fear of them, but our father abandoned his children and left us to a cruel and vindictive step-father. I loved Joseph Ratzinger, I miss him terribly. Today, I can only look at him with sadness and pity. There are too many unanswered questions about Ratzinger's renouncement and Bergoglio's election. Numerous times I have posted the comments by the Freemasons in Italy and Argentina praising his election. Numerous times I have posted the address by Cardinal "Uncle Teddy" McCarrick about his own conspiracy to elect Bergoglio and how he was lobbied by a powerful and influential Roman.
18:20 Just before we went into the general conversations when everybody can talk, a very interesting and influential Italian gentleman came to ask if he could come and see me, so I said “sure.”
He came to see me at the Seminary, at the American College where I was staying; and we sat down. He is a very brilliant man, a very influential man in Rome and we talked about a number of things. He had a favour to ask me when I get back to the United States, but then he asked,
“What about Bergoglio?”
I was surprised at the question, I said, “what about him.”
He said, “Does he have a chance?”
I said, “I don’t think so, because no one has mentioned his name, he hasn’t been in anybody’s mind, I don’t think it’s on anybody’s mind to vote for him.”
He said, “He could do it you know.”
I said, “What could he do?”
He said, “He could reform the Church, if we gave him five years,he could put us back on target. “
“Well, he’s 76.”
“Yeah, in five years, if he had five years. The Lord working through Bergoglio in five years could make the Church over again.”
I said, “That’s an interesting thing.”
“I know you’re his friend.”
“Well, I hope I’m his friend.”
He said, “Talk him up.”
That was the first that I heard from people that Bergoglio would be a possibility in this election.
(...)
I hope that the new, that the one who is elected Pope, will be someone who, if he is not himself a Latin American, would at least have a very strong interest in Latin America”. “Was that part of it? Who knows? What is it my friend said? “Push Bergoglio”? Did he say it to a lot of people? I don’t know.”
Consider this then.
Gustavo Raffi, Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Italy
"With the election of Pope Francis nothing will ever be the same again. With Pope Francis, nothing will be more as it was before. It is a clear choice of fraternity for a Church of dialogue, which is not contaminated by the logic and temptations of temporal power"
“A man of the poor far away from the Curia. Fraternity and the desire to dialogue were his first concrete words. Perhaps nothing in the Church will be as it was before. Our hope is that the pontificate of Francis, the Pope who 'comes from the end of the world' can mark the return to the Church-Word instead of the Church-Institution, promoting an open dialogue with the contemporary world, with believers and non-believers, following the springtime of Vatican II."
"The Jesuit who is close to the least ones of history," Raffi continues, "has the great opportunity to show the world the face of a Church that must recover the announcement of a new humanity, not the weight of an institution that closes itself off in defense of its own privileges. Bergoglio knows real life and will remember the lesson of one of his favorite theologians, Romano Guardini, for whom the truth of love cannot be stopped.
"The simple cross he wore on his white cassock," concludes the Grand Master of Palazzo Giustiniani, "lets us hope that a Church of the people will re-discover its capacity to dialogue with all men of good will and with Freemasonry, which, as the experience of Latin America teaches us, works for the good and progress of humanity, as shown by Bolivar, Allende and José Martí, to name only a few. This is the 'white smoke' that we expect from the Church of our times."
Someone knows something. Somewhere, there is a key to this mystery and it will not be hidden forever.
The campaign slogan “Make America Great Again,” resonated with millions of common Americans and your tenacity in pushing back against many of the most harmful recent trends has been most inspiring. We all look forward to seeing a continued reversal of the collectivist trends of recent decades.
Reversing recent collectivist trends will, by necessity, require a reversal of many of the actions taken by the previous administration. Among those actions, we believe that there is one that remains cloaked in secrecy. Specifically, we have reason to believe that a Vatican “regime change” was engineered by the Obama administration.
We were alarmed to discover that, during the third year of the first term of the Obama administration your previous opponent, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and other government officials with whom she associated proposed a Catholic “revolution” in which the final demise of what was left of the Catholic Church in America would be realized.[1] Approximately a year after this e-mail discussion, which was never intended to be made public, we find that Pope Benedict XVI abdicated under highly unusual circumstances and was replaced by a pope whose apparent mission is to provide a spiritual component to the radical ideological agenda of the international left. [2] The Pontificate of Pope Francis has subsequently called into question its own legitimacy on a multitude of occasions. [3]
During the 2016 presidential campaign, we were astonished to witness Pope Francis actively campaigning against your proposed policies concerning the securing of our borders, and even going so far as to suggest that you are not a Christian [4]. We appreciated your prompt and pointed response to this disgraceful accusation [5].
We remain puzzled by the behaviour of this ideologically charged Pope, whose mission seems to be one of advancing secular agendas of the left rather than guiding the Catholic Church in Her sacred mission. It is simply not the proper role of a Pope to be involved in politics to the point that he is considered to be the leader of the international left.
While we share your stated goal for America, we believe that the path to “greatness” is for America to be “good” again, to paraphrase de Tocqueville. We understand that good character cannot be forced on people, but the opportunity to live our lives as good Catholics has been made increasingly difficult by what appears to be a collision between a hostile United States government and a pope who seems to hold as much ill will towards followers of perennial Catholic teachings as he seems to hold toward yourself.
With all of this in mind, and wishing the best for our country as well as for Catholics worldwide, we believe it to be the responsibility of loyal and informed United States Catholics to petition you to authorize an investigation into the following questions:
- To what end was the National Security Agency monitoring the conclave that elected Pope Francis? [6]
- What other covert operations were carried out by US government operatives concerning the resignation of Pope Benedict or the conclave that elected Pope Francis?
- Did US government operatives have contact with the “Cardinal Danneels Mafia”? [7]
- International monetary transactions with the Vatican were suspended during the last few days prior to the resignation of Pope Benedict. Were any U.S. Government agencies involved in this? [8]
- Why were international monetary transactions resumed on February 12, 2013, the day after Benedict XVI announced his resignation? Was this pure coincidence? [9]
- What actions, if any, were actually taken by John Podesta, Hillary Clinton, and others tied to the Obama administration who were involved in the discussion proposing the fomenting of a “Catholic Spring”?
- What was the purpose and nature of the secret meeting between Vice President Joseph Biden and Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on or about June 3, 2011?
- What roles were played by George Soros and other international financiers who may be currently residing in United States territory? [10]
We believe that the very existence of these unanswered questions provides sufficient evidence to warrant this request for an investigation.
Should such an investigation reveal that the U.S. government interfered inappropriately into the affairs of the Catholic Church, we further request the release of the results so that Catholics may request appropriate action from those elements of our hierarchy who remain loyal to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Please understand that we are not requesting an investigation into the Catholic Church; we are simply asking for an investigation into recent activities of the U.S. Government, of which you are now the chief executive.
Thank you again, and be assured of our most sincere prayers.
Respectfully,
David L. Sonnier, LTC US ARMY (Retired)

The United States Supreme Court yesterday struck down the closing of churches in California as unconstitutional and restored their religious freedom capping occupancy at twenty-five percent. In Ontario, the current cap is ten people, even in a cathedral that seats over a thousand. Ludicrous. Rather than fight such a ridiculous act or even comply, Cardinal Collins finally relented and allowed a non-mandatory communion service on Sunday. It is a farce. There are many others, but two churches in very wealthy neighbourhoods, St. Margaret of Scotland and Our Lady of Perpetual Help, are completely shuttered. These two so-called pastors, who feed themselves and not the sheep (Ezekiel 34:2) have not gone un-noticed by the laity but have not been reprimanded by the Cardinal. He only shames the faithful.
The reason the number is set at ten is because of the Minyan - the Mosaic law requiring ten men for synagogal prayer. Congratulations to our Jewish brothers for having the moxy to pre-lobby Premier Ford to ensure that Jewish rites could continue at synagogue or home. Too bad we Catholics were not as smart.
It is now the second of the pre-Lent Sundays, Sexagesima. No public Mass in most of the Archdiocese of Toronto since Christ the King and much of Ontario since Christmas, except for those bishops who are working within the ten person limit.
Barona at Toronto Catholic Witness has an erudite observance of the Cardinal's homily yesterday in an empty cathedral. He speaks of being "cancelled" and talks of martyrdom. Yet, I know for a fact that he has recently "cancelled" a priest and given him a "white" martyrdom. Knowing what he did to this priest and others reveals a grave hypocrisy about being "cancelled."
This comment from the post at TCW is on point.

Sadly, this is too little too late. Perhaps in a moment of
sobriety he realises that his silence and cowardice and complicity have
rendered him completely ineffectual. He has consistently ignored and vilified
his most faithful supporters among the clergy of his diocese. He has
deliberately surrounded himself with dubious characters and weak, younger men.
The clergy is woefully ignorant and weak. He has not remedied this grave
problem. His failure to stand up to the overreach of the government has
weakened him irreparably. Perhaps he is badly advised but at this point, as he
approaches the end of his tenure, his outbursts in support of the covidiocy
narrative can only lead us to conclude that he is ideologically wedded to a
narrative that in time will unravel and expose him and his counselors to be
woefully inept if not complicit in evil. His treatment of priests who speak the
truth with clarity and charity--rare as hen's teeth, is abominable. The
hierarchy of this nation on the whole, has prostituted itself to the godless
elites at all levels of government. The remnant faithful are a despised lot and
yet they would still support a faithful bishop if one were to be found. The
cardinal cast his lot with those whom he deems moderate, the lukewarm. He is
now drowning in a cesspool of lies, compromises and outright heresy. May God
grant him the grace of repentance and a resolve to make reparation. St. Agatha,
pray for him.
St. Margaret of Scotland parish in Toronto is in an upscale neighbourhood. It's pastor, Andy MacBeth, has completely shuttered the church. No Mass, as per the Cardinal's order due to the provincial diktat of ten persons and no Sunday Holy Communion Service to the ten, (yes, I know, why can't we have Mass.) MacBeth has even shuttered the doors of the church in contravention to the Cardinal's request to keep the doors open for private prayer to a maximum of ten.
It is good to see that the people of St. Margaret's Parish are smarter than MacBeth. Perhaps, just perhaps, they drove twenty minutes northeast to St. Timothy's where, as a comparison, a typical home is $1,299,000.
There are other priests in the Archdiocese of Toronto doing the work of God. I know them. I won't embarrass them here. They know who they are and so do their parishioners. So does God.
If you cannot find a priest at this time you may write me at voxcantoris@rogers.com.
To all Cardinals and Bishops who have suspended Holy Mass, who have shuttered our churches and who have withheld the sacraments; to all priests cowering in their rectories out of fear of a virus playing video games and God knows what else. To all of you.

But every morning you can watch him on your computer and hear him pontificate about scripture and St. John Fisher. The fact is, this man has abandoned me and he has abandoned you. He failed to stand up to the diktats of government overreach and he has failed to even give us the few bread crumbs that the government has permitted.
We have been abandoned by our cardinal, our bishops and most of our priests with very few exceptions.
His entire tenure as Archbishop of Toronto will be noted by his last year of 2021. A Shakespearean tragedy. A farce. A legacy of cowardice and failure.
We have only to weep and mourn and find refuge in Our Lord.
These men are not your friends. May God deliver us from them, grant us His mercy and judge them according to their works.
It takes Jewish convert who gets so much of it right to tell us and Catholic JoBama.
Where are our bishops?
Why do we need to depend on Jonathan Cahn to speak the truth?
Why would he even contemplate becoming a Catholic given the heretics, apostates, catamites and blackmailed cretins in control of the Church of Christ, corrupted by malfeasants and sodomites and atheists.
And there is still, NO MASS FOR YOU!
But there is the prophetic voice of this man.
(Hold the anti-Semitic diatribe please, they won't be published.)
Nor, has there been since the Monday after the Last Sunday After Pentecost or the Solemnity of Christ the King, if you prefer. Yes, it has been that long. Advent, Christmastide, in a few days Candlemas. All gone. It joins Lent, Holy Week, the Triduum, Eastertide and all the great spring feasts from 2020. Will we have Easter in church this year? (For more on the Gesimas you can read here)
What am I bid?
All gone. Gone for a virus invented in a lab in Wuhan and used to beat the world into cowardice and submission. A virus with a 99.7% survival rate depending upon your age where government and church has failed to protect the most vulnerable and persecuted and prosecuted the rest. Church? Yes. When have you heard Thomas Cardinal Collins or his ilk speak out against the fact that some nursing homes in this Archdiocese have 100% of patients with the CCP virus and the inaction of government to protect the vulnerable? Please, find me the statement. This, is what happens when you take government money to pay your staff, including priests!
The Ford government reduced the number for religious rituals to ten. The Cardinal then outdid him and went to 0! He has now backtracked a little and offers now a Sunday service of Holy Communion. Other bishops in Ontario, St. Catharines, Pembroke and Peterborough, have managed to continue on.
Ten. Why?
It is the Minyan, the congregational quorum of adult men (post Bar Mitzvah) for there to be sufficient sanctity for the recitation of certain public prayers in a synagogue.
Doug Ford reduced from 30% church and religious attendance to ten to satisfy the Jewish need for a congregation. We, as Catholics, can't even muster the courage to match them.
There are two evangelical churches whose elders and members are being persecuted and prosecuted in Ontario. One in Aylmer and another in Waterloo. These people have more courage than our Cardinal who had the power nearly a year ago to tell the Ontario government that churches would not be closing. He had the bully pulpit.
We were given a child to do a man's job.
Clearly, he was never Bar Mitzvahed.
At least, pray this today.

Commemoration of SAINT JOHN BOSCO
John Bosco (1815-88) grew up on a Piedmont farm in Italy. While still a student-priest at Turin, he began his mission for the abandoned boy apprentices of the early industrial era, who roamed uncared for on the streets of the city. Priests and Brothers gathered about John Bosco as his work developed, and formed the Salesian Order, named in honor of St. Francis of Sales. He also founded a community of Sisters to aid needy girls. Today, the missioners of John Bosco carry on his ideals of gentleness and charity among poor children in Asia, Africa, and South America, as well as in Europe and North America.
O God, You made Your confessor St. John a father and teacher for the young and willed that he should found in Your Church flourishing new communities under the protection of the Virgin Mary. Enkindle in us the same fire of love to seek after souls and serve You alone. Through Our Lord . . .
EPISTLE I Cor. 9:24-27; 10:1-5
Brethren: Know you not that they that run in the race, all run indeed, but one receiveth the prize. So run that you may obtain. And every one that striveth for the mastery refraineth himself from all things. And they indeed that they may receive a corruptible crown: but we an incorruptible one. I therefore so run, not as at an uncertainty: I so fight, not as one beating the air. But I chastise my body and bring it into subjection: lest perhaps, when I have preached to others, I myself should become a castaway. For I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud: and all passed through the sea. And all in Moses were baptized, in the cloud and in the sea: And did all eat the same spiritual food: And all drank the same spiritual drink: (And they drank of the spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ.) But with most of them God was not well pleased.
GRADUAL Ps. 9:10-11, 19-20
You are a helper to those in need, in time of distress. Let those who know You trust in You, O Lord, for You do not forsake those who seek You. For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor shall the patience of the poor forever perish. Arise, O Lord, let not man prevail.
TRACT Ps. 129:1-4
Out of the depths I cry to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive to the prayer of Your servant.
V. If You, O Lord, shall mark iniquities, Lord, who can stand? V. But with You there is merciful forgiveness, and because of Your law I have waited for You, O Lord.
GOSPEL Matt. 20:1-16
At that time, Jesus spoke to His disciples this parable:"The kingdom of heaven is like to an householder, who went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. And having agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And going out about the third hour, he saw others standing in the marketplace idle. And he said to them: 'Go you also into my vineyard, and I will give you what shall be just.' And they went their way. And again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did in like manner. But about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing, and he saith to them: 'Why stand you here all the day idle?' They say to him: 'Because no man hath hired us.' He saith to them: 'Go ye also into my vineyard.' And when evening was come, the lord of the vineyard saith to his steward: 'Call the labourers and pay them their hire, beginning from the last even to the first.' When therefore they were come that came about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. But when the first also came, they thought that they should receive more: And they also received every man a penny. And receiving it they murmured against the master of the house, Saying: 'These last have worked but one hour. and thou hast made them equal to us, that have borne the burden of the day and the heats.' But he answering said to one of them: 'friend, I do thee no wrong: didst thou not agree with me for a penny? Take what is thine, and go thy way: I will also give to this last even as to thee. Or, is it not lawful for me to do what I will? Is thy eye evil, because I am good?' So shall the last be first and the first last. For many are called but few chosen."

Last summer I needed to buy a new barbeque grill. Everything at Canadian Tire or Home Depot was from communist China. Instead, I did my research. I paid more, bought a better product and I ordered it from my local Canadian and independent Home Hardware/Home BuildAll. It is a Broil-King and it was completely manufactured in Waterloo, Ontario. There is also an American plant manufacturing for the market in the United States.
Since the CCP Virus came ashore, in my own protest, I have done what I can to not buy anything made in communist China. An exception is Taiwan, of course. I have done without, or in the case of a small medical device, a pulse oximeter, waited until an American company was able to deliver on production. I paid $400 for it when a trashy and unpredictably inaccurate one from communist China could be had at the nation of Bezos for $50 or less.
The good people of China are in deep darkness and oppression. Those who know and rebel are in prison, concentration and re-education camps or worse. It seems to me that there is a difference between the Chinese and the Russians and the toleration of communist overlords. The Chinese seem less willing to throw it off. We need that time to come.
Communist China must be punished by the world for the CCP Virus. I have little faith in any of our leaders, particularly now without Donald Trump not on the scene, that this will happen. It is up to you and it is up to me.
Buy nothing from China. If you need something and there is no alternative, buy it used if you can or do without. Pay more if you must. Do whatever you can do.
This is the data from the webpage COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Ontario as of 10:30 A.M. on Sunday, January 24, 2021. This is not my data. There were 1,436 persons hospitalized in Ontario. This is down from 1,501 the previous day. Those 65 people either got better and were discharged or died or a combination of both.
UPDATE: DOWN AGAIN AS OF SUNDAY.
There are approximately 464 hospitals in Ontario. The data can be found at the link below.
On average, there are just over 3 people with the China Virus in Ontario's hospitals.
Where is the crisis?
For this, for three people per hospital, we are killing our economy, isolating people, distressing people causing a great rise in suicides, abuse and substance abuse and bankruptcies which repeat the cycle.
The numbers above prove the comments from people whom I know in health care. There is no overcrowding crisis. There is nobody going without an ICU bed who needs one.
I have no doubt that people are ill and dying. I have a friend, a doctor with it and he is in the last few days of quarantine and is recovering at home without treatment. A friend's father, noted below, has passed. He was an octogenarian who went into a Toronto hospital for a stroke and caught China Virus there, and died from it. The dead in long-term care are not being transported to hospitals. They are not in those numbers. They are being left to die in the nursing home.
Douglas Ford, an alleged "Conservative" Ontario Premier, is an abject failure. He has lied to the people of Ontario. He has engaged in a cover-up with a corrupt medical community.
Cardinal Collins and the bishops of Ontario have been duped into closing our churches.
