Cardinal vs. Cardinal - I stand with the one who will resist because he stands with Christ!

Once again, Hilary White has the story as she reports on Cardinal vs. Cardinal in England.
Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke
Raymond Cardinal Burke advises us to prepare for the worst in defense of marriage -martyrdom" if necessary. The Filipino Tagle speaks of the need to avoid "harsh" and "severe" language. For Cardinal Burke to make such a statement he must know those selected for the Synod are thinking. Dare we ask, is the Synod stacked? If it is, who would have done such a thing, and why?

Filipino Cardinal Tagle
This blog and its writer and spouse will stand with the unbroken Catholic faith from Our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that this is where Cardinal Burke stands. As for Tagle and the rest of these, where do they stand and with whom?

I've said it before and I will say it again, no matter the price we must not concede.

These men, and you know their names; these men will try to change doctrine by stealth. They will put forward and try to ram through the Synod pastoral practices, initiatives and new ways of speaking that will change doctrine, regardless. This is not a false statement on my part, they have admitted it! It is also important to watch carefully who is supporting whom in this debate. If New Ways Ministry comes out supporting the statements made by a certain prelate, what does this tell us?

You know it. I know it. They know it and they know that we know it; and they will bear, oops, I mean "bare" their teeth because they are not bears but wolves! (shout out from the Vox to E.M. for catching that and adding to the sentence!)

We will stand up to them. We will not be silenced. We will not allow them to tear down the faith and doctrine.

Further, as Mundabor writes; (admit it now, you read him!) "Whatever happens we will stay in the Church Christ founded;" and we will beat these pigs out of the Temple if it kills us!

With whom do you stand?

In England, one cardinal says brace for martyrdom over marriage, while another denounces ‘harsh’ language

March 12, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Two cardinals active at October’s Extraordinary Synod on the Family offered strikingly contrasted messages on the hot-button issues from the Synod in talks to crowds in England on the weekend.
While American Cardinal Raymond Burke urged Christians to be prepared to face martyrdom if need be in defense of marriage, Filipino Cardinal Luis Tagle’s remarks on the issue focused on the need to avoid “harsh” and “severe” language about homosexuals and Catholics who ‘remarry’ without an annulment.

I admit it, I read Mundabor and that's how I discovered "Vox Cantoris." We authentic Catholics must speak out, as you and he wisely observe.

For too many years, we have been silent while those who tear down the Church have been vocal and supported too often by our limp-wristed hierarchy (with notable exceptions such as Cardinal Burke and Archbishop Schneider).

Thanks for your post. We will not back down.

I stand with those who do not preach a Word different from the Word of God, who speak the truth out of mercy and concern for their brother's salvation. I do not stand with the very confused or unbelieving pope and the cardinals who do his bidding.

The characteristics we see in Cardinal Tagle are troubling. He has everything that would endear him to the powers of this world. He acts like the perfect entertainer and he can make people laugh. He seems to enjoy playing the role of a happy-clappy preacher who makes people feel good. He was educated in the U.S. and he speaks perfect English. Because of these skills he has the ability to attract a wide following among the masses of easily manipulated people. He is the perfect example of a contemporary preacher who puts style over substance.

A very little known book ,but one well worth reading about what's happening in the Church. http://atonementbooklets.com/d/faith-part1.pdf http://atonementbooklets.com/d/faith-part2.pdf

Does disapproval of another's actions require "harsh and severe language"? Does such an admonition necessarily denote approval of such actions? Tagle is not Kasper. Unless a direct quotation can be provided, there is little if any indication that he approves outright of anything Kasper has said, and Kasper has said a great deal, and explicitly so.

The power is shifting. Think about it. When have you ever seen such passion on the part of your average simple faithful Catholic ? This is a movement !
It is past time for the laity to recognize their legitimate calling and ministry in the Holy Church ! Join the Holy League, pray the Rosary daily, be informed. Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.

David L. Alexander, nobody believes people should be treated harshly but what language does Card. Tagle refer to; is it the catechism?

Look, New Ways Ministry loves him.

I must remember to say thank you to a certain Vatican spokesman, should I ever meet him (and who shall remain nameless lest I risk legal retribution), for introducing me to such a compelling and forceful vox. Prayers for you sir!

Just being new here in America, I understand now why there's a growing hate against us, Christians. Guys like Tagle can save Catholicism and Christianity in general. Are you aware or you choose to be blind that our faith is starting to be irrelevant to a huge majority of people? They mock us dearly due to us being judgmental and harsh to them. Let us observe our beliefs, but you can't force people to be as conservative as you.

If you put your trust in "Princes" like Cardinal Tagle then you need to do some serious thinking about the Faith. I'm not forcing anything on anyone. I am writing the truth.

Thanks for stopping by.
