SSPX: Allegations of cover-up or stonewalling of criminal investigation is "false!"

In my continuing effort to be fair and balanced in the matter of ChurchMilitant's reporting on allegations of sexual abuse and cover-up by some in the Society of St. Pius X, I present here, the latest response from officials in the Society and comment.

https://sspx.org/en/publications/newsletters/toward-transparency-repentance-and-healing-57684

The scourge of perversion, predation and sexual abuse in the Church must be cut out. We know that it has reached the highest levels. Theodore McCarrick is not the first prelate to have been found out, only the most prominent and recent. The cover-up of McCarrick's actions even reached Francis Bergoglio himself. Why would we doubt that even in the Society, sodomites embedded themselves? Others, for whatever reason, whether in denial and acting in good faith to prevent scandal, did not make public reports. Did some act maliciously? Maybe.

As we were told by St. Gregory the Great; "It is better to let scandal arise than truth to be suppressed."

Just as this disease has infected our dioceses and religous orders and does not change the truth of the Faith, so it is that any malefactors in the Society of St. Pius X, whomever they may be, do not change the good work done by 99.9% of the priests, nuns and religous and the faithful Catholic communities.

Reveal to the faithful the wolves which are demolishing the Lord’s vineyard.

(Pope Clement XIII, Encyclical Christianae Reipublicae, n. 2)

The declared enemies of God and His Church, heretics and schismatics, must be criticized as much as possible, as long as truth is not denied. It is a work of charity to shout: “Here is the wolf!” when it enters the flock or anywhere else.

(St. Francis de Sales, Introduction to the Devout Life, Part III, Chapter 29)

You have to defend the glory of God and the salvation of your neighbor; and with the object of your strife before you, neither courage nor strength will be wanting. It will be for your prudence to judge by what means you can best overcome the difficulties and obstacles you meet with. But, as it befits the authority of Our office that We Ourselves should point out some suitable way of proceeding, We wish it to be your rule first of all to tear away the mask from Freemasonry, and to let it be seen as it really is; and by sermons and pastoral letters to instruct the people as to the artifices used by societies of this kind in seducing men and enticing them into their ranks, and as to the depravity of their opinions and the wickedness of their acts.

(Pope Leo XIII, Encyclical Humanum Genus, n. 31)

Hello Again Vox
The Church Militant report is certainly damning. If it is true, then kudos, to Church Militant, for exposing it. My problem with this Church Militant piece is the manner in which it was packaged. It had a very ugly "gotcha" quality to it. This report along with a Vortex follow up, were more like venom laced prosecutor's briefs. Do you think that jealous, gloating, salivating harpies are only found at Novus Ordo Watch or Traditio? Wrong, look no further than Church Militant or Patrick Coffin, in his trashing of the SSPX.

This is quite long, Vox, and it's not necessary to publish it, but for your perusal.

"We will not, ever, criticize the pope," or something to that effect from Michael Voris. Not only did CM never criticize Francis, they forbade any commenter from anything that could be construed as criticism. I know personally and I have the copies of my back and forth with none other than a very nice Christine Niles, who put words in my mouth and I told her so, but still very nice, until such time as I was banned by.....wait for it.....Church_Militant_Moderator Louie_Verrecchio •August 14, 2015
"You know our policy. Stop complaining about it.
You were already blocked under one of your other aliases. It can happen again.”
Yes, that Louis Verrecchio. And I suppose it was he who banished me, but who knows? Anyhoo, as time went along (years) I would periodically sneak back in and read some comments and lo and behold it was like open season on Francis. May I also say that MV was on some California internet podcast in 2012, and I have that one, too, somewhere in the bowels of one of my Passport portable external hard drives, stating unequivocally that you could not vote for Mitt Romney (gifting the election to Obama). A few weeks before the election he reversed himself and basically admitted there is a lesser of two evils. Whether the podcast listeners got the message is moot at this point.
One thing that has remained consistent, perhaps the only thing, is his hatred of SSPX, which by coincidence, happens to match his Texan millionaire funder's hatred of SSPX.

Onto the SSPX response.

It has always been my concern for the mere 20 years that I have been aware of the SSPX that they remain vigilant in their seminaries, schools and chapels, in realizing that they are under attack every waking day from within, eg, Vatican, diocesan, et al, and without, eg, communist, homosexual, et al., (or at this point there’s no difference). I received a 2nd email from SSPX dated 4/24, one day after the first that addressed CM specifically. The second addressed each accusation. In one assault case, (the self-circumcisor) they apologize for “an absence of a robust reporting infrastructure within the U.S. District at that time.” That struck me as lame. But let’s hope that the robust reporting system is now in place, even if it’s just a phone call to superiors or an email.
As Bella Dodd, a former communist agent and eventual “revert” to Catholicism wrote: “In the 1930s, we put eleven hundred men into the priesthood [in the United States] in order to destroy the Church from within.” Another former communist, Manning Johnson, testified to Congress: “In the earliest stages it was determined that with only small forces available to them, it would be necessary to concentrate Communist agents in the seminaries…. This policy of infiltrating seminaries was successful beyond even our communist expectations.”

All of the world is I infected. Jesus Christ is correct when speaks of the Enemy of Entire Human race. There isn't one government, institution, or business that hasn't been co-opted spiritually or materially.

Yes. 99% is good.

Maudie N. Mandeville: Are you saying Louis Verrechio is part of CM? If so, in what capacity? I don’t visit their site. Am unfamiliar.

@ Maudie N. Mandeville: fascinating info. Crucial to know, actually.

Who is the TX millionaire?

Firm agreement on the observation of their intense self awareness (“every waking day”) of internal and external attack. Complacency opens the gates to the devil. Vigilance bars that same gate.

@Aqua: Louis was but I believe had a falling out. It's been at least five years for me being a visitor (after Louis banished me😆) other than an occasional web story linked to their site. But I recall a tx millionaire and also I believe another in Ohio but distinctly remember the Tx hating on the SSPX. I have no animosity against CM. I just don't accept their take on SSPX excommunication yada yada, I've read all of the arguments, pro and con. Voris ought to realize their are snakes everywhere. The SSPX better realize it, also.

Louie is no friend, or enemy for that matter ,of CMtv
If you read Cath Info ,you would know there have been many perv problemsm, financial problems and children's deaths associated with SSPX Camps all from parishioners themselves.
