This should bring tears to your eyes.

If it doesn't, well …

It's a hospital. Hospitals are generally for when you're sick. Seeing sick people is always a sad thing.

Thank goodness the hospitals in Canada are relatively empty because of the Covid panic like here in the US of A. You can have 15-20 staff working on one patient. Plus you can give interviews, cry, talk about your feelings to reporters and then crowd all together in the hallways and clap every time a patient is discharged.

I also saw that your ambulances, fire trucks and police cars regularly parade around hospitals and with their sirens blaring and the staff have the time to come outside, watch the spectacle and give themselves a well deserved hand.

Believe me, I'm not complaining. Over here, they're dancing in empty wards. Any footage of that from Canada or are they a little more sensitive about the optics?

The people pulling the strings have tears in their eyes. Not from crying, from laughter. But this joke that being played on us isn't really funny.

Nevermind cruisers. I kid you not, we have police on horse back parading in front of the hospitals in Toronto. The doctors and nurses aren't dancing, they are out laughing, posing for group hugs taking selfies and watching the show. The mayor showed up! If only Justin Trudeau and Dr. Tam came. You'd have a clown and a freak too! It looks like the circus.

Watch the footage. It's after the bit about the social distancing snitch line.
