"The worldly gospel has unleashed Hell on Earth." Now - which priests would those be who preach this "worldly gospel?"

A most excellent and unfortunately rare sermon addressing a key issue of our times. Thanks Vox. If more priests spoke like this it would change the world.

Thank God for this priest's defense of the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. I haven't heard anything as clearly focused on this subject since VII. The CC has been taken over by sodomy & the few who are straight don't dare go where this priest has gone. I hope he will not be trashed by his Bishop (or Pope), which is almost a daily occurrence in these times.

The sodomites among us who hate the sacredness of Holy Matrimony, Our Lady & women in general & want to debase this sacrament must surely end up debasing themselves, as they are the products of it. They forget they are the outcome of their father's & mother's love for one another in accordance with God's Will & His accompaniment. What a shame that they have allowed themselves to be tricked by Satan (once chief of the angels but now chief of the underworld) in his hate for the omniscience of the King of all Kings.

When I spoke to Father Lankeit about Pope Francis a number of months ago, this priest offered mealy-mouthed platitudes, skirted the entire Amoris issue, and advised us to "stay close to Jesus." The problem is precisely that Pope Francis and Amoris Laetitia are distancing people from Him. It isn't enough to denounce attacks on the Sacrament of Matrimony without being willing to identify where those attacks are coming from. Father Lankeit isn't Pope Pius XII, who had to measure his rhetoric against the lives of countless innocents. Why not come out and say what needs to be said?

Justina--

I can understand Father Lankeit position. If he spoke out as we would like he would be dismissed, transferred, etc. He probably reasons that Pope Francis will soon be gone and replaced by someone better. Also, he no doubt believes he is helping Catholics be better now, but wouldn't if he publicly spoke against Francis. Personally, if I were him I would have at least tried to communicate with you that I had issues with AL.

Michael Dowd--agree completely. After all, Our Lord stated very forcefully, in the Holy Gospel according to St. Mark (8:38) that "anyone whose position might be in jeopardy due to speaking the Truth must dissemble, equivocate, and otherwise compromise in order to preserve it, no matter how many souls (besides one's own) are at stake, since this present world is in every way more important than I AM."

Justina-- Here is what our Lord actually said, ""I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves."

In the case of Wolf Francis one must be prudent in how his "doctrine" is to be resisted, confronted and denied.

It is easy for us to have big mouths when there are no consequences.
