Any priest or bishops promoting or justifying this thing, Amoris Laetitia, is flogging a dead horse.
I ask any of them, or you to leave a comment. Amoris Laetitia and Pope Francis have opened the door for confusion and error - that cannot be denied. What also cannot be denied is that history has already condemned the openings in this exhortation. The evidence is at the link to Denzinger-Bergoglio.
Go along with it at your own risk.

Bergoglio is not a valid pope because he was a heretic and remains a heretic also he is excommunicated because he belong to the club rotary since 1999. Pope Pius XII warned in his encyclical Mystici Corporis Christi, the Doctrine of the Mystical Body of Christ, that heresy and apostasy are grievous sins that separate by its own nature a man from the Body of the Church. There are not exception as Saint Paul Says in the Scripture (Galatians 1:8). And when the person commits the sin ipso facto excommunication occurs immediately.
This is why Blessed Emmerich said: "I see a lot of ecclesiastical punishment of excommunication, which does not seem to care or even know. And yet they are excommunicated when they take part in these companies, when they enter partnerships and embracing opinions on weighing the anathema. I see these men surrounded by a cloud like a wall of separation. (AA.III.148)"Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist."-September 19, 1846 Our Lady of La SalettePope Paul IV and Pius V They perpetuity declared null the election of a heretic as pope. Pope St. Pius V: Motu proprio "Inter multiplices". Motu proprio, confirming the perpetuity of officio "Cum ex apostolatus" of Pope Paul IV 21 December 1566 declaring invalid and null elevations heretical ecclesiastical authorities. Even if the heretic was chosen by all the cardinals is invalid.

Thanks Vox. We need to be reminded of the truth about AL as some of your correspondents seemed to think that only the Magisterium could comment on this document. Or that the document was perfectly in line with Catholic doctrine which it is not. We must all feel obliged to seek the truth about all statements, documents, etc coming from the Vatican especially now.
When will the Cardinals we had faith in during the Synod on the Family, who must know this Papal Exhortation is gravely wrong, collectively denounce it? Cardinal Burke, who is probably the best canon lawyer there is, says that we (who are not canon lawyers) must study AL line by line & compare it to the Magisterium. Well a lot of us have studied it, and certainly all canon lawyers & theologians have, and all find the language decidedly ambiguous for such an important papal document, with the most important sentences buried in footnotes. PF himself has declared there are openings (which shouldn't be there) for unrepentant cohabiting divorced & remarried, LGBT couples etc. to gain access to Holy Communion. It gives carte blanche to anyone living in grave sin to be "accompanied" by a priest until they finally arrive at the altar. It is reportedly already happening and all Bishops' Conferences are meeting to decide on the public action they will take on AL.
I have missed contributions from Cardinals Sarah, Arinze,Pell, Napier & Archbishops Gadecki & Lenga. It seems they have been adequately silenced. However, such silence is not in accordance with Or Lord's instruction to teach all nations nor with their being raised to high office within the CC & charged with upholding its teachings handed down from the First Apostles. This Papacy has gone all out to finish the intent of the spirit of Vatican II and destroy the complete structure of the CC and standing idly by and letting them continue to do so is complicity, whether they like it or not.
Cardinal Burke in Walsingham had a lot to say about the laity's part in teaching their children which is fine, but nothing at all on AL & where it already has started leading us to. Nothing also on PF's upcoming visit to Lund - is everyone already packing their cases to go with him for the jolly-up? If the CC takes part in these commemorations would be a calamity and most likely empty the churches. Where will their lofty positions be then?
I have just read : Some Concerns about "Amoris Laetitia"
by Anna M. Silvas
@ chiesa.espresso.republica.it
and would highly recommend it to you & your readers.
Vox, I just explored the link that you provided. Here are examples of His Holiness Pope Francis speaking in 100 percent continuity with Church teachings.
The link reads, "Let’s read what the Magisterium teaches …"
Catechism of the Catholic Church
•The ‘remarriage’ of persons divorced from a living, lawful spouse contravenes the plan and law of God
The remarriage of persons divorced from a living, lawful spouse contravenes the plan and law of God as taught by Christ. They are not separated from the Church, but they cannot receive Eucharistic communion. They will lead Christian lives especially by educating their children in the faith. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1665)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The link established that the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that...
1. "The remarriage of persons divorced from a living, lawful spouse contravenes the plan and law of God as taught by Christ."
-- His Holiness Pope Francis, August 5, 2015 A.D.: "The Church is fully aware that such a situation is contrary to the Christian Sacrament."
Okay...Pope Francis is 100 percent in line with Church teaching.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. The link established that the CCC teaches that "They are not separated from the Church..."
-- On August 5, 2015 A.D., Pope Francis said that the divorced and "remarried" "are by no means excommunicated".
Okay...Pope Francis is in line with Church teaching.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. The link established that the CCC teaches that although divorced and "remarried" Catholics are not separated from the Church, "they cannot receive Eucharistic communion".
-- Pope Francis, February 17, 2016 A.D: "Being integrated into the Church does not mean “taking communion”. I know remarried Catholics who go to Church once or twice a year: “I want to receive communion!”, as if communion were a commendation. It is a matter of integration... the doors are all open.
"But one cannot just say: from now on “they can take communion”. This would also wound the spouses, the couple, because it won’t help them on the path to integration."
Okay...Pope Francis is in line with Church teaching that prohibits divorced and "remarried" Catholics from receiving Holy Communion.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Finally, Pope Francis is in line with the Church that Catholics must turn to the Catechism of the Catholic Church as an important aid in helping them understand Church teaching.
-- Pope Francis, #46 of his Encyclical Lumen Fidei: The Catechism of the Catholic Church "is a fundamental aid for that unitary act with which the Church communicates the entire content of her faith: all that she herself is, and all that she believes".

Amoris Laetitia "does not permit access to communion for divorced and remarried couples, not even in exceptional cases", according to Bishop Schneider.
— Bishop Athanasius Schneider

There are hundreds of faithful Catholics who are faced with 'irregular' situations within their families. Myself included. My siblings, my husbands siblings. Instead of euchre nights, potluck dinners...why aren't priests/pastors counselling the faithful on how to deal with their family members who are in these horrible states? When will our pastors step up to the plate and not diddly-dally around these very real subjects/situations? They don't have to deal with children/spouses/many times brothers or sisters on a daily basis, so it's almost not a reality they have to face. I have two siblings who this year will be entering into a 'civil union' .... priests have counselled my parents to go to these 'ceremonies'. Who can you trust anymore? No one, only our Lord and His unchanging words. Our priest are not addressing any real issues with their faithful, NONE.
Jesus was meek and gentle to repentant sinners, He had very harsh words for those who persisted in habitual sin, as did the Saints.
Please take a look at the link Vox provided. I think you're too optimistic.
PF selectively cites FC and St. Thomas. In FC, PJPII said that divorced and "remarried" people cannot receive Communion. In AL, there's only part - NOT the whole - quote from FC in AL. AL omits the part from FC which says that divorced and "remarried" people can't receive Communion.
So people are being misled, with the result being sacrilegious Communions and the loss of souls.
I'm sorry I have to say this but I am really concerned for you. I would hate to see your reaction if Pope Francis does something blatantly heretical.
Ask the Blessed Mother to help you.
In regard to Denzinger-Bergoglio, the bottom line remains that the Vicar of Christ as well as bishops in communion with him are the only people authorized by God to interpret Church teaching. The problem that we face when we use Church declarations to "prove" this or that about somebody is that it's easy to misunderstand people.
Example: We can interpret Pope Venerable Pius XII's radical, and they were radical, reforms to "prove" that he was liberal and a terrible Pope.
In fact, last month, Vox posted excerpts from Monsignor Fenton's diary. Monsignor Fenton identified Pope Venerable Pius XII as among those "weak and liberal popes, who have flooded the hierarchy with unworthy and stupid men". Even if that is a valid criticism of him, that doesn't mean that Pope Venerable Pius XII was a heretic.
However, there are sedevacantists who insist that he was heretical as they can "prove" that Pope Saint Pius X was "the last true Pope".
It is interesting to me that suddenly, in their intense dislike of His Holiness Pope Francis, many staunch Traditionalists, from The Remnant, a leading publication, down to obscure blogs, have turned to Pope Saint John Paul II as a great defender of Church teaching. They use Pope Saint John Paul II to prove that Pope Francis is unorthodox.
Interestingly, for years and years, more than a few Traditionalists attacked Pope Saint John Paul II viciously...as he had given us "heretical" Assisi ecumenical and interfaith gatherings, kneel and bowed to Islam (he kissed the Koran), was anointed by a pagan woman, offered "bizarre" liturgies, etc.
But suddenly, certain Traditionalists have twisted the supposedly "heretical" Pope John Paul II into a great defender of the Faith to "prove" that Pope Francis is a "heretic".
By the way, here is The Remnant's 2011 A.D. scathing attack and denunciation of Pope Saint John Paul II. Today, to "prove" that Pope Francis is unorthodox, The Remnant employs Pope Saint John Paul II and his teachings to attempt to accomplish that mission.
The point is that it's easy to misrepresent/misinterpret a person to advance one's cause.
The SSPX Resistance as well as sedevacantists can cite Church teachings to "prove" that Bishop Fellay and the SSPX are "liberal" and "heretical". The Resistance and sedevacantists can cite Church teachings to "prove" that the FSSP and ICK are "unorthodox" and to be shunned.
Sedevacantists can cite Church teachings to "prove" that they alone are the "only true Catholics on earth".
The bottom line is that there is a reason as to why God has authorized the Pope and bishops in communion with Rome to serve as the only people on earth who are called to teach, govern, and sanctify The People of God.
Therefore, we can only understand Church teachings, such as listed in Denzinger, in accord with that which our Holy Father Pope Francis and bishops in communion with him teach.
Otherwise, we run the risk that people may employ Church teachings to "prove" that Pope Francis and Amoris Laetitia, Pope Venerable Pius XII, Bishop Fellay and the SSPX, the FSSP and ICK...and this or that Churchman is "heretical".
We have every right as Catholics to present in charitable fashion, to Churchmen, our concerns in regard to Holy Mother Church. However, that does not grant us the right to interpret Church teachings as we run the very real risk of misinterpreting or misrepresenting this or that person as well as said teachings.
Let us turn to the Blessed Virgin Mary to soften our hearts in regard to our brother Pope Francis, who has attempted desperately to advance the Culture of Life. Let us soften our hearts as well in regard to the unfortunate ways that we sometimes treat each other. As a poor sinner, that is something that I must do.

Your attempts to put the best spin on this Bergoglion papacy are admirable to some extent. However, the truth of the matter is that Bergoglio has been, is, and most likely will be, to his death, a Magisterial defined enemy of the Church.
'Pope St. Pius X alerted us over 100 years ago to these tactics. He told us that Modernists can be identified by "their tenets, their manner of speech, and their action" (Pius X, Encyclical Pascendi, par. 3), and he pointed out specifically that they "seem not unfrequently to advocate doctrines which are contrary one to the other, so that one would be disposed to regard their attitude as double and doubtful. But this is done deliberately and advisedly" (par. 18).
Pope Pius VI, too, condemned and exposed the Modernists' cunning schemes, whose nefarious ideas
"cannot be excused in the way that one sees it being done, under the erroneous pretext that the seemingly shocking affirmations in one place are further developed along orthodox lines in other places, and even in yet other places corrected; as if allowing for the possibility of either affirming or denying the statement, or of leaving it up to the personal inclinations of the individual – such has always been the fraudulent and daring method used by innovators to establish error. It allows for both the possibility of promoting error and of excusing it."

Wolverine said..."Your attempts to put the best spin on this Bergoglion papacy are admirable to some extent."
Do folks whose opinions that differ from mine in regard to Pope Francis perhaps place the worst spin possible upon his Pontificate? The problem is that many folks in the anti-Pope Francis camp have printed claims about His Holiness that have proved false. Have said folks ever apologized for their false claims in question? Have they ever apologized for the rage that they have fomented against Pope Francis.
I can back up my statement with facts.
Vox-permitting, here is an example of that. In September 2014 A.D., news had broken that Bishop Fellay would later that month visit Rome for a meeting with Vatican officials. Traditional Catholic blogs buzzed with predictions that..."this is it for the SSPX. Pope Francis hates the SSPX and he now plans to hammer Bishop Fellay and the SSPX".
Louie Verrecchio, a leading Traditionalist, spoke for many Traditionalists via the following "expert" analysis of the then-pending meeting between Rome and Bishop Fellay:
https://akacatholic.com/thoughts-on-upcoming-sspx-meeting-in-rome/
"I suspect that this meeting, if not immediately, will lead to an ultimatum that the Society cannot, and should not, accept. The result of which will be little more than additional bluster from Roman hierarchs wherein the Society will be verbally ostracized all the more for adhering to the truths of our Holy Catholic faith as taught and lived and practiced prior to an ecumenical council that every pope during and since has repeatedly claimed changed nothing of the content of said faith."
Has Louie Verrecchio apologized for his horrific "expert" analysis in question? Did he apologize when certain Traditionalists seized upon his "expert" analysis to vent their rage against Pope Francis, who hated supposedly the SSPX...and who planned supposedly to hammer Bishop Fellay and the SSPX?
The above is typical of the utter garbage that flows daily from certain Traditionalists. They misrepresent Pope Francis daily. However, they don't have to worry about a thing as they are not accountable to anybody. They are free to misrepresent Pope Francis around-the-clock.
Howver, the problem in question goes beyond Pope Francis. When Cardinal Burke, for example, refused to condemn Pope Francis and Amoris Laetitia as "heretical," more than a few Traditionalists issued vicious denunciations of Cardinal Burke. They even labeled him a "homosexual". Have those Traditionalists in question apologized to Cardinal Burke for their sinful claims against him?
I have good reason to be weary of claims that Pope Francis is a "heretic"...that Amoris Laetitia is "heretical"...that Cardinal Burke is a "homosexual" as much that has been pawned as "facts", has, in fact, been little more than utter nonsense.
Has The Remnant, for example, apologized to Bishop Schneider? For his having refused to denounce Pope Francis and Amoris Laetitia as "heretical," they counted him among those "foolish" bishop who have played "us for fools".
By the way, does anybody know when Pope Francis will "excommunicate" the SSPX and "outlaw" the TLM? More than a few Traditionalists predicted that he would do so.
Please, let us exercise charity in regard to Pope Francis and our Churchmen. As Catholics, that is what Holy Mother Church expect of us. In certain quarters of the Traditional Catholic blogosphere, the situation in regard to attacks against Pope Francis and various Churchmen is spinning out of control. God wishes us to exercise charity.

@Paul Morphy
In response to Mark Thomas, the Church has indulged Pope Francis and has given him every benefit of the considerable doubt.
AL is an abomination. AL cannot be viewed as anything else but an abomination.
This papacy has been a disaster since it's inception - and the responsibility for this lies with Ratzinger who in dereliction of his duty vacated the papacy and ushered in the election of the Hireling.
Mark you may be fooled by C Jorge but that’s your problem. Your post does not represent C Jorge at all, yes he has had a few Catholic moments (not very often) and you do often rehash them for shall we say "those rainy days" but you have not mentioned one very important factor… And that is, the *only* time C Jorge tries to act and speak Catholic is when there is uproar from the laity and True Apostles of Christ when HE tries to change Church teaching… C Jorge knows when he has gone too far, that’s when he back tracks and flip flops. G Jorge is as cunning as a Fox, and we have had enough of his making a "mess" in the Church. C Jorge needs to resign and repent for causing so much scandal.
PF only knows the words Dialogue, Gradualism & Accompaniment. Repentance is a no no, as is Hell.b He is obviously not a true successor of St. Peter but then who in the Hierarchy is?
Mark, God bless your sincerity and love for the Church and the Papacy. Your approach is commendable, to a point. At some point, however, Truth must prevail over even our most sacred/treasured assumptions, if they be in conflict.
Below is a comment I recently read that I believe accurately portrays the situation we are currently facing. All of us, who love Jesus and His Church, will stand before Him one day to give an account for our words and actions. May we all pray for one another that when, or if a schism occurs, that we choose from a Holy Spirit enlightened conscience.

"Does Francis intend to deceive? Of course. As reported by 1P5, Abp. Forte admitted the planned deception and Sandro Magister showed how AL is taken from heretic art of kissing bishop Fernandez writings of 10 years ago. It is even worse when not openly rejecting doctrine but making the appearance of staying faithful yet not really, all through planned ambiguity and footnotes. Francis is worse than Marx and Kasper, multiplying the damage with a higher rank. Not only that, no honest cleric can toss out 2000 years of Tradition and say they didn't know, rather only that they reject the Church's teachings. Read Pope St. Pius X on the modernists. The Columbo deception method of Francis (playing dumb) has worked on you, resulting in deficient discernment. I know various little old ladies (literally) who have little education and theological knowledge, but pray many daily rosaries and try to live a holy life. They see right through it when I quote Francis for them. No prelate to date has had the fortitude to accuse Francis of heresy. Some call that prudence. I call it cowardice. But that will eventually come at the schism. Then whose side will you be on - Francis or the true Church?"
A refreshing read and perfectly on point.
