What will you say to Our Blessed Lord on that day when He asks you why you let 1,500,000,000 plus people live and die in darkness?
You and your ilk are traitors to Our Lord and His Church.

Christians and Muslims:
Beneficiaries and Instruments of Divine Mercy
Dear Muslim brothers and sisters,
1. The month of Ramadan and ‘Id al-Fitr is an important
religious event for Muslims around the world, focused on fasting, prayer and
good deeds, and is esteemed by Christians, your friends and neighbours. On
behalf of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue and Christians all
over the world, we extend best wishes for a spiritually rewarding fast,
supported by good deeds, and for a joyful feast.
As is our cherished custom, we wish to share with you on
this occasion some reflections in the hope of strengthening the spiritual bonds
we share.
2. A theme that is close to the hearts of Muslims and
Christians alike is mercy.
We know that Christianity and Islam both believe in a
merciful God, who shows his mercy and compassion towards all his creatures, in
particular the human family. He created us out of an immense love. He is
merciful in caring for each of us, bestowing upon us the gifts we need for our
daily life, such as food, shelter and security. God’s mercy is manifested in a
particular way, however, through the pardon of our faults; hence he is the one
who pardons (al-Ghâfir), but the one who pardons much and always (al-Ghafour).
3. To underscore the importance of mercy, His Holiness Pope
Francis declared a Jubilee Year of Mercy to be celebrated from 8 December 2015
to 20 November 2016. In this regard he said: “Here… is the reason for the
Jubilee: because this is the time for mercy. It is the favorable time to heal
wounds, a time not to be weary of meeting all those who are waiting to see and
to touch with their hands the signs of the closeness of God, a time to offer
everyone, everyone, the way of forgiveness and reconciliation” (“Homily”, 11
April 2015).
Your pilgrimage (hajj) to the Holy places, mainly Mecca and
Medina, is surely a special time for you to experience God’s mercy. In fact,
among the well-known aspirations addressed to Muslim pilgrims is: “I wish you a
blessed pilgrimage, praiseworthy efforts and the pardon of your sins”. Making a
pilgrimage to obtain God’s pardon for sins, both for the living and dead, is
truly a salient custom practice among believers.
4. We, Christians and Muslims, are called to do our best to
imitate God. He, the Merciful, asks us to be merciful and compassionate towards
others, especially those who are in any kind of need. So too he calls us to be
forgiving of one another.
When we gaze upon humanity today, we are saddened to see so
many victims of conflicts and violence – here we think in particular of the
elderly, and children and women, especially those who fall prey to human
trafficking and the many people who suffer from poverty, illness, natural
disasters and unemployment.
5. We cannot close our eyes to these realities, or turn away
from these sufferings. It is true that situation are often very complex and
that their solution exceeds our capacities. It is vital, therefore, that all
work together in assisting those in need. It is a source of great hope when we
experience or hear of Muslims and Christians joining hands to help the needy.
When we do join hands, we heed an important command in our respective religions
and show forth God’s mercy, thus offering a more credible witness, individually
and communally, to our beliefs.
May the Merciful and Almighty God help us to walk always
along the path of goodness and compassion!
6. We join our prayerful good wishes to those of Pope
Francis for abundant blessings during Ramadan and for a lasting joy of ‘Id
al-Fitr.
Happy Feast to you all!
From the Vatican, 10 June 2016
Jean-Louis Cardinal Tauran
President
Bishop Miguel Ángel Ayuso Guixot, M.C.C.I.
Secretary

This seems to be in sync with Antonio Socci's comments re Merkel, Obama & PF pushing for a NWO religion. Very serious & quite extraordinary that NO-ONE in the Hierarchy is prepared to confront.
Ann Barnhardt has a new article up on her site. It states that Bergoglio is an antipope and Pope Benedict is still pope. I think she is right on the money. How much do we have to see and hear before it will be admitted that the bishop of Rome is an antipope?

The pathetic thing about these ridiculous statements made by members of the hierarchy to the adherents of other belief systems such as Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism is that none of their believers takes the statements seriously.

"We know that Christianity and Islam both believe in *a* merciful God..."
In the English language "a" is used as an indefinite article. The prefix "a" means "no". Examples: Atheism, amoral.
"The" is the definite article.
"The" merciful God is the All-holy, consubstantial and undivided Trinity. Period.
"I am the Lord thy God...thou shalt not have strange gods before me.". (Ex. 20: 2-3)
The SSPX are right about the apostasy in the Church and its' causes.
Maybe that's because they are the NWO church and not the Catholic Church?
Watch Cardinal Tauran and these other unchristian B-ms run the other way or convert to isheislam if ever Rome was attacked again.. They have no faith in Christ, they worship the spirit of this world, i may add they are uneducated and have no idea about the history of the church or the world.. They are not Christians they are atheists going with the tide of who will be out numbered, their guess(thanks to some of the Vatican clowns) *Christianity* and so rather than strengthen what little true Catholics left, they abandon them. May the only true son of God, reign on earth as he does in heaven soon. Their religion is not from God period, God has a son Jesus Christ, their God has no son, you can not have it both ways.. Either God has a son or he does not, you can not serve two masters...
Dear Barbara, "... Bergoglio is an antipope and Pope Benedict is still pope... How much do we have to see and hear before it will be admitted that the bishop of Rome is an antipope?"
Benedict and Bergoglio are both judeo-masons; they are both heretics. So that makes Bergoglio an anti-pope and Benedict a Pope.
Female logic? :)
This shepherd has lost his way, due to whatever reason. It doesn't matter, the fact is his words are false. Ramadan, by Mohammad's example, is a month of intensified jihad (holy war), and the reward for mujahid (holy warrior) is doubled during Ramadan. The good deeds are commanded in Quran, but you guessed it, they apply to Muslims, not infidels. Bishop said we both imitate God. That's not true for Christians nor Moslems. We imitate Christ, not the Trinity. They immitate Muhammad, as commanded by Quran. Also, these other ideas - of mercy in islam, or forgivness of sins on hajj pilgrimage... I will not even comment on that nonsense.
Islam is the enemy of God and man. It is not to be approved of or countenanced; it is to be rejected and condemned. It is a corrupt and barbaric political system wrapped up as a religion. It is seditious and evil. The poor folks who are in its sway should be converted if possible and prayed for if not. The Catholic Church is totally wrong by trying to embrace Islam. This can only result in harming our faith and ourselves. And, in many cases, lead to the actual death or loss of faith for those who do.
Vox, in fairness to Cardinal Tauran, he has adhered simply to the collective policy in regard to Islam that Popes Francis, Benedict XVI, Saint John Paul II, and Blessed Paul VI forged. From Pope Blessed Paul VI to date, our Popes have insisted that Catholics are compelled to hold Moslems in high regard.
We are aware of Pope Francis' policy in regard to Islam. His policy is the same as Pope Benedict XVI's policy in regard to Islam...the same as Pope Saint John Paul II's policy...examples:
-- Pope Benedict XVI: "My visit to Turkey also provided me with a welcome opportunity to greet members of the Muslim community. Indeed it was my first visit as Pope to a predominantly Islamic country. I was glad to be able to express my esteem for Muslims and to reiterate the commitment of the Catholic Church to carry forward inter-religious dialogue in a spirit of mutual respect and friendship, bearing joint witness to the firm faith in God that characterizes Christians and Muslims..."
-- Pope Benedict XVI: "Dear Muslim Friends, I am glad to be able to welcome you here, as the representatives of different Muslim communities in Germany...a climate of respect and trust has grown up between the Catholic Church and the Muslim communities in Germany..."
-- Pope Benedict XVI, Apostolic Exhortation Africae Munus on the Church in Africa: "I call upon the Church, in every situation, to persist in esteem for Muslims, who "worship God who is one, living and subsistent; merciful and almighty, the creator of heaven and earth..."
-- Pope Saint John Paul II, September 24, 2001 A.D: "...I wish to reaffirm the Catholic Church’s respect for Islam, for authentic Islam: the Islam that prays, that is concerned for those in need..."
-- Pope Saint John Paul II, John Paul II , address to the young Muslims of Morocco, August 19, 1985 A.D: "Christians and Muslims have many things in common, as believers...we believe in the same God, the one God, the living God, the God who created the world and brings his creatures to their perfection...the Catholic Church regards with respect and recognizes the equality of your religious progress, the richness of your spiritual tradition...I believe that we, Christians and Muslims, must recognize with joy the religious values that we have in common...we believe in the importance of prayer, of fasting, of almsgiving, of repentance and of pardon..."
So, in fairness to Cardinal Tauran, he followed simply the path carved by our recent Popes.

And they were, and are, all wrong!
Vox, I believe that beginning with NOSTRA AETATE, Rome's policy toward Islam hasn't benefitted the Church. However, the praising of Moslems, and the one-sided "dialogue" (in Islam's favor) between Rome and Moslems have reflected Rome's treatment of Islam from Nostra Aetate (1965 A.D.) to date. Therefore, I don't fault Cardinal Tauran as he simply carries out Rome's policy toward Islam. He just adheres to the party line.
Vox, if Cardinal Tauran is "a deluded traitor of Our Lord Jesus Christ", then what do we say of Popes Francis, Benedict XVI, and Saint John Paul II? After all, they carved the path down which Cardinal Tauran has walked.
What do we say about Popes Francis, Benedict XVI, and Saint John Paul II, who prayed and worshiped in mosques? Are they deluded traitors of Our Lord Jesus Christ?
Vox, perhaps it's more apt to concluded that our recent Popes, as well as Cardinal Tauran, may have been deluded in regard to Islam. However, that doesn't mean that they are/were traitors of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Vox, does that possibility make sense to you? I hope that we aren't dealing with traitors of Our Lord Jesus Christ. That is a fearsome thing to consider. I know that I am leery to go there.

Mark,
Insofar that Popes Paul, John Paul II and Benedict prayed in assented to sign documents, prayed in mosques, kissed Korans, prayed with Imams, prayed facing the vaginal meteorite in Mecca to ancient Arabian pagan moon-god or invited the ministers of this political ideology into the very Vatican itself to pray to a false god, then yes; every one of them was deluded, betrayed Our Lord and did damage to the Faith and I am prepared to say it because it is the truth!
Mark, you say they MAY be deluded, ignoring the fact they act like deluded people. To keep it simple, let's try this syllogism.
1. Only a deluded Christian can wish a "good Ramadan" to a Moslem.
2. Card. Tauran wished a "good Ramadan" to Moslems.
Therefore, Card. Tauran is a deluded Christian.
Embracing Islam is part of the New World Order (Novus Ordo). Such actions by previous Popes are all part of the NWO long range plan. Note our President is exactly on the same page as Cardinal Tauran. The so called "Spirit", a mysterious word used frequently by Pope Francis is the driver of this behavior. The reason for all of this is to establish a One World Religion which is to be a key part of the New World Order.
People may argue that our recent Popes are/were deluded men. However, offering greetings to various non-Christian religious sects on their holy days was the practice during Pope Saint John Paul II's reign.
Since 2007 A.D., on behalf of Popes Benedict XVI and Francis, Jean-Louis Cardinal Tauran has sent letters of praise to Moslems to commemorate Ramadan. Cardinal Tauran has sent letters to Buddhists to commemorate the Feast of Vesakh.
Greeting non-Christian sects on their holy days has been the Church's policy for decades. Whether that policy in question has benefitted the Church is open to debate. But the Church doesn't believe that Her policy in question has betrayed Our Lord Jesus Christ.
There is a big step between debating the policy in question to having declared that the policy in question has betrayed Our Lord Jesus Christ. I suggest simply that we consider whether we wish to go that far. We are dealing with a serious matter here. Please, let us think about this.
Please dear brothers and sisters, let us at least give our Churchmen the benefit of the doubt in that they have neither intended to nor betrayed Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pax.

Michael Dowd said... Note our President is exactly on the same page as Cardinal Tauran.
And sadly so is the man who is not my Prime Minister because I didn't vote for the pot-smoking, islamic garb wearing, abortion advocating, pride parade marching, euthanasia implementing, economic wrecking, moronic idiot talking head for the same NWO.
Oh, did I mention he's Catholic?
