The triumph and joy of Eastertide is reflected in the decoration of the sanctuary and the priest's use of white vestments, symbolizing joy and purity.

And purity.

Thank You, and Blessed Happy, Holy Easter to you and yours as well!!!
Thank you for all you do for Christ, Our Blessed Lady and His One True Holy Catholic Church. May God richly Bless you and yours with all you need to do His Will, as you continue with your blog to show your love of Truth and, seeking it always exposing the lies that oppose it...wherever they may derive from, and then reclaiming for Jesus only what He says is True, above all, for Jesus, Our Lord Savior and King's sake Alone

God Bless to you and yours,
For Life

Khristos Voskrese! Voyistinuyu Voskrese!
Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!

O Day of Resurrection!
Let us beam with festive joy!
O Pasch, O Pasch of the Lord,
For from death to life, from earth to Heaven,
Christ our God has led us
Who sing the hymn of victory!

(Paschal Canon of St. John Damascene, Ode 1)

Gospel: John 1: 1-17 (traditionally read in Latin, Greek, Slavonic, Ukrainian and English)

This Friday (Bright Friday) Ukrainian Greek Catholics are dispensed from the Friday abstinence.

Joyeux Pasquale! :-)

P.S. March 27 is the Feast of St. John Damascene on the traditional Latin calendar. I don't think that he minds that his feast is superseded by the Resurrection. In fact, I'm sure he's happy about it. ;-).
