Thomas Cardinal Collins and Anthony Fauci agree: Giving up your individual rights is for the "Greater Good!"

Thomas Cardinal Collins has frequently spoken from the Ambo, where the Word of God is to be proclaimed, or from his Cathedra, the seat of episcopal authority, that you and I must take within our veins (because it escapes from the muscle according to Dr. Byram Bridle and others) that was tested or contains fetal stem cells and is now known to cause mounting injury and death.

Collins joins Dr. Anthony "Mengele" Fauci that we should give up our freedoms for the "common good" and "greater good."

To both of them, I say that if they get sick from the jab and in order to protect others, they should far cough.

Cardinal Collins cancels Nottawasaga gabfest due to fears of virus outbreak - Was it used as a ploy to out the un-"vaccinated?"

On September 14, the Feast of the Holy Cross, we reported (below for original post) that the annual spiritual retreat of prayer, fasting and contemplation, party gab and golf vacation at the NottyWasaga Inn at a cost of $800 each priest to the parish was limited to those who had the double jab. We noted then that those who could not attend would then be outed for the Cardinal and his Chancerycrats to target.

Yesterday, October 1, Chancellor Edward Curtis issued a memorandum that "out of an abundance of caution" after solemn "reflection" by the Episcopally bored Board there will instead a "virtual retreat" as in 2020.

It was determined that it would be a "cause for concern" to gather hundreds of priests together in a common setting, given the current conditions caused by the Chinese Communist Party Virus. Curtis further stated many priests advised that they were not comfortable attending in such a large group. Of course, one could ask these jabbed Fathers what they could possibly be afraid of the "vaccine" actually worked. Further, Curtis reveals that if just one priest contracted the virus there it would require that all would need to "self-isolate" under current public health requirements for up to two weeks. This would cause immense pastoral problems.

No kidding Chancellor Sherlock. You didn't know this on September 14 and whatever day you booked the Nottywasaga Inn? Of course, you did - it's "common sense" as Collins has said about all of us getting the jabs, so what has changed in a month?

Oh, I know; mission accomplished

Thomas Collins and his minions now have a list of every priest in the Archdiocese of Toronto who has not been jabbed.

Well played, Tom. Good for you Ed.

For now.

Cardinal Collins to Toronto Priests - No jab? No gab!

NO NOTTAWASAGA FOR YOU!
The annual Autumn priest retreat for the Archdiocese of Toronto was cancelled in 2020 due to the Chinese Communist Party Virus (lest we forget its origin and purpose). Held at the Nottawasaga Inn and Resort the annual CardinalFest takes on a different spin this year. No jab, no gab. According to multiple sources, a memorandum was sent yesterday from the Chancerycrats that a priest not double-jabbed by the appropriate time will not be permitted to golf, relax and dwell in the bask of the glow of the Cardinal and his episcopally bored committee.

What an ingeniously wicked and manipulative way to determine which priests in the Archdiocese of Toronto have not gotten the jab. They will all be exposed, outed to all their colleagues for easy shaming and targetting. I can assure you, they may not be the majority but they are not a few. There is also a repugnant level of harassment that has begun against some of those not jabbed. On the other hand, the un-jabbed will probably look at this as a bonus.

Cardinal Collins has been pushing the jab on Catholics for many months. Preaching from the Ambo at St. Michael's Cathedral, he has called it "common sense" and an "act of charity" admonishing Catholics that those who do not take it obviously have no concern for the "common good." It is important to note that Collins went even further than the government diktats in Ontario and shut down Mass completely, even before the initial lockdown and later, at a time when the government did not shut religious services and only severely restricted numbers. For many Catholics, receiving Holy Communion is impossible because Collins continues to prohibit Holy Communion on the tongue at Mass - a situation where some Catholics have now gone 18 months without the holy Sacrament. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, the Second Vatican Council and the Canadian bishops' own infamous Winnipeg Statement all remind us that our conscience is supreme and that we cannot violate our conscience. Except in the matter of taking the jab or in the manner of receiving Holy Communion. Here, we are expected in these two matters to violate our consciences.

Rise up, Fathers, unite. If you are a Toronto priest and on your own and do not know your brothers who think like you, or if you are a priest being persecuted or harassed by your pastor, feel free to write me in confidence where I can share with you those priest colleagues who will support you and network in truth, solidarity, support and prayer.

Fathers, you are not alone. Do not violate your conscience! voxcantoris@rogers.com

Letter from a parent to Thomas Cardinal Collins: "I hold you responsible for ruining the life of my son!"

I had a conversation last night with a friend whose son has developed serious heart problems as a result of the Moderna "vaccine." He has written a letter and asked me to publish it:

For background:

Ontario recommends Pfizer shots instead of Moderna for young adults over possible heart risks | National Post

Dear Cardinal Collins,

Yesterday, Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Kieran Moore, announced that "out of an abundance of caution," the Moderna vaccine is not to be given to those between 18 and 24, "effective immediately."

This decision is too late for my son and I blame you. Because of you, he will never play hockey again and will probably now, due to his permanent heart damage, never become the priest he has been called to be. The two most important things in my son's life are his faith and hockey. He has lost hockey and most likely the calling to preach the faith he loves.

I was hesitant on any of the mRNA vaccines but my son wanted to play hockey and the GTHL demanded it. Further, he watched you every day from the Cathedral during the inability to attend Mass. He looked up to you and took to heart your words that taking the vaccine was for the "common good" and "common sense." He also took to heart the words of Pope Francis that it is an "act of love." Now, because he has followed those men who are to be his Shepherds, you and the Pope, his life's plans are over.

Eight days after the first Moderna vaccine he developed pericardial effusion resulting in pericarditis and the struggle to breathe caused by that inflammation and an enlarged heart, or myocarditis. The doctors are clear, it was a direct result of the Moderna vaccine, a vaccine you promoted and urged him to receive.

With all of your education and your doctorates, are any of these Doctor of Medicine? I am outraged that you have done this to my son and others. Our Lord will not be pleased with this. It is as if you have been bought off by the same masters that have bought off our political and business leaders.

The pharmaceutical companies are protected from lawsuits as are our governments and doctors. You, however, are not. I hold you responsible for ruining the life of my son.

Consider yourself forewarned. A lawsuit is coming to you and the Archdiocese of Toronto for what you have done to my son.

I have asked my friend who publishes a blog under the name, Vox Cantoris, to release this to the public.

Forewarned is forearmed. Govern yourself accordingly!

Mr. I. Amfiction

The above letter is fictional. The question is, because of the actions of Thomas Collins, how many of these injuries are true, a direct result of his words and actions?

If any readers of Vox Cantoris have or know of others who will tell their story of injury or death to the advice of Thomas Collins who has practiced medicine without a license, please write me at voxcantoris@rogers.com

The fake and coercive theology of Thomas Cardinal Collins

This article from Crisis Magazine written by Dr. Janet Smith is a must read. It is not only an indictment of the person referred to in the article, M. Therese Lysaught, a professor of bioethics and a corresponding member of the Pontifical Academy for Life, but it is an indictment of Thomas Collins as his philosophy in the matter of the "vaccines" is the same as Lysaught's.

The legacy of Thomas Collins is one of betrayal, failure and cowadice.

None of these can be used to describe Dr. Smith.

Thomas Cardinal Collins is using coercion and intimidation against clergy and staff!

Coercion is an ugly thing, especially when undertaken by a Prince of the Church.

The "vaccine" is "not a moral obligation!"

Thomas Cardinal Collins is a liar!

Sunday 26 September 2021

The soon to be new home of Thomas Cardinal Collins renovated on your contributions from your parish collection and something else...

Sweet, eh? Big renovation to the upper floors for Cardinal Cocktail and his special priest friend from the Bishop's Palace to assist him.

How much did you contribute today?

How much did you give to the "Family of Faith" campaign that is now going to provide this little gem for his retirement next January?

When shall we discuss that Dominican liturgist and the rape of a Carmelite seminarian at St. Augustine's Seminary and the rush to hospital. And who attended his eventual ordination and how much did the payoff of damages and silence cost? We have all the names, the pervert, his victim, the one who covered it up.

All true friends. The filth in Toronto is deep and so is the money to force non-disclosures.

Shall we mention the Chancellor? A Monsignor who fathered a few and used certain funds to support them? And whatever happened to the mother?

Oh yes, we know it all. And so much more.

Have a nice day, Tom.

Importance: High

Cardinal Collins,

I cannot think of a greater disappointment than what you have become. The hope we had fifteen years ago has long since vanished. You have left a legacy in your last two years of cowardice, lies and betrayal. You have committed sinful acts by barring the faithful from Mass when it did not need to happen. I fear for your particular judgement. What you have done to your clergy, staff and faithful are a betrayal and scandal. All of this scandalous action will shortly come tumbling down and you will be seen by history as a coward, a fool and a hireling.

With all of the funds of the faithful being spent to bring the Newman Centre mansion up to your standards, you could have provided free rapid testing to your staff and volunteers for the remainder of this pandemic. You have betrayed your staff and failed as a shepherd and a Christian.

May our Lord convert you and may you publicly repent for your betrayal before it is too late.

“We are heartened to see that the provincial government has not required proof of vaccination to enter a place of worship.” Thomas Cardinal Collins

“We are heartened to see that the provincial government has not required proof of vaccination to enter a place of worship." So states Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto.

Why would that be Tom?

Because you agreed to coerce your clergy and staff to get the jab in exchange for keeping open the churches?

A little quid pro quo? Come on Tom, you remember your Latin a little this for that, eh Tommy?

What a legacy.

Tom, do tell us how much that renovation of the Newman Centre as your retirement home is costing us. It's a shame you know, you could have provided free rapid tests to staff in parishes rather than force them to dish out $80 a week because you don't trust them to be honest.

It sounds to me like one of the sins that cries out to heaven for justice, "denying the labourer of their just wage" in order to enrich a corporate monolith like Shoppers Drug Mart and pleasing the new State Church.

What a legacy.

Subject: Important Communication from Cardinal Collins and Covid-19 Vaccination Policy - Archdiocese of Toronto

September 24, 2021

To all clergy and staff of the Archdiocese of Toronto,

I wish to extend my ongoing gratitude to all of you as I know that the last 18 months have been challenging both personally and pastorally. I continue to keep you all close in prayer.

I recognize that the restrictions we have all faced and continue to experience are frustrating and, at times, have been the cause of anxiety and division. There is a tension in our country that is palpable and we continue to pray for the day that we may return to daily life without the restrictions that remain in place, especially those that impede our ability to welcome full and active participation in our sacramental celebrations.

We also acknowledge that we are still navigating an unpredictable global pandemic and these restrictions, while frustrating, remind us of the call to love and care for our neighbour as ourselves.

Organizations, businesses and institutions throughout the province have been asked to implement a vaccination policy. Enclosed you will find our policies for staff, volunteers and clergy. I wish to highlight some key points for reflection:

· I very strongly urge every Catholic to become fully vaccinated, though we will make every effort to ensure places of worship remain open and accessible to all, regardless of vaccination status. The church should serve as a respite, a sanctuary of peace, prayer and welcome. We are heartened to see that the provincial government has not required proof of vaccination to enter a place of worship.

We must also maintain a safe working environment. Clergy, staff and volunteers have the greatest person-to-person interaction in parish/office settings and thus, a heightened risk for transmission of Covid-19. To ensure a safe workplace and to welcome the faithful with an additional level of health and safety, on a temporary basis, we are asking that clergy, staff and volunteers be fully vaccinated or be subject to regular rapid tests.

Regarding vaccination against Covid-19, the direction of the Holy Father, Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) and my own communication has been to ask people to be vaccinated to minimize the potential transmission of Covid-19. The congregation states that this must be done freely and also reminds us that “the morality of vaccination depends not only on the duty to protect one's own health, but also on the duty to pursue the common good.”

As we reflect on pursuing the common good and care for one another, I would like to communicate directly to our clergy (bishops, priests, deacons) as well as religious men and women and seminarians serving in ministry in the archdiocese:

I urge those that have not been fully vaccinated to do so as soon as possible.

Due to requirements from the provincial government and organizational policies in many institutions, your ability to serve the faithful will be significantly impeded should you choose not to be vaccinated. This will restrict your ministry in schools, hospitals, long-term care homes and other settings requiring full vaccination. We know that these visits and your ongoing pastoral care in these settings are important aspects of your ministry.

Many of you are living in community with others, including those who may be elderly or with more significant health challenges. Staff or volunteers in the rectory or office may also be at greater risk depending on their circumstances. In short, we have a responsibility to ensure a safe environment for staff and volunteers. Vaccination remains the best defence against infection for oneself or others. Should you choose not to be vaccinated, regular weekly rapid tests (as outlined in the policy) will be required.

One fact is abundantly clear: most of the new Covid-19 infections, by far, are among those who are not vaccinated. It is quite understandable that for this reason the provincial government has made it clear that any reduction of restrictions will depend on a greater percentage of the population being fully vaccinated. We have also seen, in recent days, a significant surge in new cases and deaths, particularly in Alberta. Intensive care units have been overwhelmed and new restrictions have been instituted, including those affecting places of worship. I pray that we will not experience this situation in Ontario. We must get beyond this pandemic, which has directly and indirectly caused such misery for so many, and has impeded our life as a Christian community. The single best way to do that is for people to get vaccinated.

Most importantly, I care deeply about each one of you and all those who serve the church. I do not want you to contract Covid-19 or transmit it to others, especially in the midst of one of the most serious health care crises of our lifetime. I recognize that some of you may have concerns regarding vaccination. If this is the case, please speak to your doctor or, if you have ethical concerns, refer to information available from the Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute or contact them directly. Specific questions on the policy can also be directed to your Regional Bishop, the Chancellor of Spiritual Affairs or Human Resources.

Once again, I am grateful for all that you continue to do and I know that you share my fervent desire to return to a restriction free environment as soon as possible. I ask for your co-operation as we implement the vaccination policy in the coming days. I pray that we may serve faithfully and lovingly, caring for all those we encounter.

May you continue to be blessed with good health and be assured of my prayers for you and the faithful of the Archdiocese of Toronto.

Sincerely in Christ,

Thomas Cardinal Collins
Archbishop of Toronto

Dear fellow Catholics in the Archdiocese of Toronto ...

Coercion is a wicked thing.

Especially when done by a Prince of the Church.

More to follow....

So, let us begin.

The parish secretary, a kind and faithful and loyal woman has been employed by the Parish of Pick-A-Saint for twenty years. She is trusted with much information and much of it confidential. She is trusted with money ensuring that the four-fingered Cardinal Cocktail gets his cathedraticum.

Suddenly, she is a liar not to be trusted. You see this woman who earns maybe $500 a week now needs to go to conglomerate named Shoppers Drug Mart to pay $40 twice per week out of her pocket for rapid testing and send the proof to the Cardinal's minions to ensure she is not a leper. Notwithstanding that she has been healthy and working without a jab all this time.

Cardinal Cocktail knows what I know. The Government of Canada provides for free the Abbot rapid test to Shoppers Drug Mart which charges $14 for a box of 25 to eligible small and medium sized businesses. The $14 is a handling charge and not unreasonable. What is unreasonable is that Cardinal Cocktail does not trust the parish secretary to have the box and test herself and attest to the results. He wants a receipt and proof. Oh, he knows something about "Proof!"

Failure to comply with the demonic coercion demanded as of October 8, could result in unemployment.

What's next?

Unvaccinated priests in the Archdiocese of Toronto are so limited in their ministry that they really won't have one.

Yes. You read this correctly.

Now, read this and weep.

Your Eminence,

I urge you to watch this and hear the truth from this professor of Cellular and Molecular Biology. I know how much you respect academics as opposed to those of us in the great unwashed. Those of us simple people, who know what we do not know and do not trust our politicians, our medical tyrants or our episcopal hirelings. This letter will be made public this morning on Vox.

I also urge you to think very clearly about what you are doing and not follow the lead of the demonic Bishop of Moncton, because if you think No Mass for You was a pain in the past, you have no idea what will come from this blog if you shut the faithful out of the church and the sacraments!

Enjoy your Sunday.

Michael's Cathedral, he has called it "common sense" and an "act of charity" admonishing Catholics that those who do not take it obviously have no concern for the "common good." No jab in Ontario? No funeral visits for you! What will Thomas Cardinal Collins do?

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has announced that, as of September 22, no person will be permitted to attend an indoor funeral service in a funeral parlour, mausoleum, cemetery or crematorium.

Registrar’s Directive: Funeral homes and transfer services must implement a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy - Bereavement Authority of Ontario (thebao.ca)

info@thebao.ca

registrar@thebao.ca

mediainquiries@thebao.ca

Absolutely without compassion. Completely wicked.

Now, what will Thomas Cardinal Collins do about our Catholic cemeteries and mausoleums? Under corporation sole, he owns them. Will he allow BAO to dictate who can attend Catholic funerals and visitation?

Are churches next? In a written statement to CTV News London, The Roman Catholic Diocese of London wrote:

"The Diocese of London is currently considering whether proof of vaccination could be required to enter a church, as well as how we would accommodate those with a medical exemption. Our priority is balancing the safety of our parishioners and ensuring access to the sacraments for the faithful."

Be strong friends, God wins. We need to remain prayerful and faithful. This won't last long, they are all being exposed.

Is Toronto's Cardinal, Thomas Collins and his Chancerycrats planning to mandate the jab?

Before reading this blog post, take a few moments to watch this video.

The Cardinal's Human Resource Director, Stephanie Nargoz has issued a Memorandum to all clergy and staff of the Archdiocese of Toronto. While much of the memo deals with practical matters of returning to work one item is particularly concerning. Nargoz indicates that they will be closely observing workplace polices as they develop in Ontario and will communicate more on this in the coming weeks.

Before going further, it is often necessary to sound a warning before the worst happens. I am more than happy to be proved wrong about what I believe Collins is planning. Better that than the alternative. Surely, we did not believe he would close our churches or prohibit the public Mass or still, deny people Holy Communion on the tongue whose conscience will not allow them to receive in the hand. Yet he has done all of this. Priests of the Archdiocese of Toronto. Find your brothers of like mind and heart, band together. Do not take this, do not violate your conscience. We, the smelly sheep on the peripheries know what it is to be abandoned by our shepherds. You are now facing the same. We are on the right side of this. You know that or you would not be reading this.

While Ontario Premier Doug Ford has said that there would be no "vaccine passport" as he does not want a "split" society and reminded everyone of our Constitution, he has pulled a slight of hand and has quietly ensured that a passport is indeed in the offing - offloaded to others to do. Read the link below and then come back to this post.

O. Reg. 577/21: RULES FOR AREAS AT STEP 3 AND AT THE ROADMAP EXIT STEP (ontario.ca)

What Ford has done is to bypass the legislature by issuing an Order in Council through a regulatory change (my American readers will understand the reference here of a Presidential Executive Order) and offloaded the decision making to the various regional Medical Officers of Health and ordered business to comply. He had turned doctors into unelected political dictators, while this unchurched and uncouthed ignoramus can say, "it wasn't me!"

The Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation for the Archdiocese of Toronto as a "Corporation Sole" vested in Thomas Collins has done the bidding of government for 18 months. It has closed churches to prayers, limited sacraments and banned the public offering of Holy Mass other than on a digital screen. The Cardinal and his ilk have done this for government money which is about to dry up. They live in fear, they have no faith. They will not defy the diktats now. They are afraid because Karen calls them and tells them she will not come to Mass if Father hasn't had the jab. They want Karen's money.

Our sources indicate that no priest can even be near the Cardinal in his residence at the cathedral or be near him in any liturgies unless they have had the jab. Sources indicate he is about to follow the plans given by Blaise Cupich in Chicago mandating all priests to receive the jab with no possible religious exemption which in the mind of Cupich, "cannot be supported by Catholic teaching." How can Collins go against his previous statements that the jab is "common sense?" Vox Cantoris: Cardinal Collins: You say it is "common sense" and an "act of charity" to submit to experimental gene therapies but what does the Winnipeg Statement say about "conscience?"

Cupich and no doubt Collins and his minion Nargoz seem to forget this quote from the document issued by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith which I quoted one bloc post below referring to the whole of paragraph number 5:

5. At the same time, practical reason makes evident that vaccination is not, as a rule, a moral obligation and that, therefore, it must be voluntary. In any case, from the ethical point of view, the morality of vaccination depends not only on the duty to protect one's own health but also on the duty to pursue the common good. In the absence of other means to stop or even prevent the epidemic, the common good may recommend vaccination, especially to protect the weakest and most exposed. Those who, however, for reasons of conscience, refuse vaccines produced with cell lines from aborted fetuses, must do their utmost to avoid, by other prophylactic means and appropriate behaviour, becoming vehicles for the transmission of the infectious agent. In particular, they must avoid any risk to the health of those who cannot be vaccinated for medical or other reasons, and who are the most vulnerable.

"It must be voluntary!"

Of course, they will say "It is, but you won't be priest here or a single mother parish secretary trying to feed your children!"

Bergoglio and Collins can speak all they want about love and the common good and that this injection manifests these. This is their opinion. That is all. As an "employer" the expectation is that a diocese leads by example and does not follow the machinations and permeations of the ill winds that blow.

The picture below is from the front page of The Toronto Star, a declining newspaper of little further relevance. It shows the division in society and the scapegoating that Ford and Collins and their little minions such as Nargoz are about to unleash on those who believe through conscientious objection for whatever reason that this chemical is not being injected into their bodies. Here we see the real potential of the Catholic Church in Toronto destroying the vocations of its priests and livelihoods of its employees as it bows to the altar of globalism, big pharma, authoritarianism and fear. The Church in Toronto is no better than the Toronto Star and its readers who will break are windows, haul us off to concentration camps and lynch us from a tree.

Do you think I exaggerate? How do you think it all began?

Archdiocese of Toronto Chancellor Edward J. Curtis - "No exemption for you!"

Father Edward J. Curtis, the Chancellor for the Archdiocese of Toronto has issued a memorandum to clergy, parishes and staff of the Archdiocese regarding numerous requests for letters of exemption to the unconstitutional mandates by government and business on the matter of the injection against SARS-CoV-2 and its variants. An injection that doesn't really work. As my own doctor said, "You can still get Covid and you can still pass it on, you just might not die from Covid."

The memorandum refers to statements from both Cardinal Collins and Pope Francis on the matter as acts of love and charity. Further, he states that the CDF has already determined that the "vaccines" are morally licit and can be used in good conscience. He continues that priests should not issue such letters of exemption.

While he mentions the CDF's general statement, he neglects some important points. Shall we look at the whole of paragraph number 5?

The common good dictates that I do everything reasonable to prevent the transmission of any virus if I were to have one. It does not demand that I take an experimental injection that is more and more revealed as severely harmful to many and which for some, is of moral concern, notwithstanding the issue of "remote cooperation."

On the matter of a religious exemption. Father Curtis has failed in his understanding of Canadian law both in the Constitution and Human Rights legislation and common law. What he should have said is this:

"No Canadian Catholic, nor any citizen, needs any letter for a "religious exemption." One simply asserts religious and conscientious exemption with no explanation necessary!"

After all, if I can put on a tutu and fairy dust and identify as Shirley Temple and the government and you cannot deny my identity then I can surely assert my rights in this matter.

Think, people!

The links below will be helpful to anyone in Canada concerned about these rabid diktats. Note, the first from lawyer Rocco Galati, that generally, the Constitution and its Charter of Rights related to government and the people, not private business. However, courts have ruled that private business must be consistent.

Do not resign your position. Assert and resist. Then sue!

Resist the tyrannical politicians and the religious "leaders" who do their bidding.

Another restricted Sunday with No Mass for Many - Worry not, it is ending this week, or is it?

The good citizens of Ontario have lined up like good comrades and have followed the diktats of Premier Ford. Cardinal Collins has convinced enough Catholics that it is "common sense" to take an experimental genetic "therapy" for a virus that the typical person has only a 4%  chance of getting and a 98% chance of not dying. Ontario is proud to have the longest and most severe lockdowns in the world.

Since so many have had the "jab" all number or percentage restrictions will be lifted by next Sunday on church attendance. For today, it is still 25% of capacity. As with anything, the "devil is in the details." The capacity limit on a religious service is not limited by numbers but by "social distancing" of 2 metres or 6 feet. which for some churches, depending on the width of aisles and so on, it won't be much more than the 30%, maybe 40%. It certainly won't be more than that.

That, my friends, is where the future lay. Social distancing or not, I predict that is about all that will be interested in coming back.

Good luck Tom Collins with your legacy. Your successor will need to wield the parish closure axe. Just as your predecessors took taxpayer funds to do the government bidding in an effort to wipe out our native Canadian culture and language, you've done the same to fund your Chancery and pay priests' salaries.

How much money are the faithful fronting to design his retirement home at the Newman Centre on the campus of the University of  Toronto?

Toronto's University of St. Michael's College - a Basilian establisment with Cardinal Collins as Chancellor goes full Marxist!

The University of St. Michael's College was founded in Toronto by Basilians with the typical motto, "Teach me goodness, discipline and knowledge." It seems now that they teach none of that and now teach wokeism, division and Marxism.

Thomas Cardinal Collins is the Chancellor of this school.

One more 15% Sunday in Ordinary Time. Next week, 25% - will that be the top-out of those who will come back to Mass?

On this upcoming Wednesday, the draconian, fascist restrictions on life by Doug Ford, an alleged conservative, will be modified. Church attendance will grow magically from 15% to 25% as well as one's ability to shop for a pool noodle. Not a single statement from Tom Collins about the absurdity of this. He does the government's bidding now and takes millions of tax dollars for it just as his predecessors took government money for taking native children from their parents into boarding schools. At the same time, he cancels a Toronto Monsignor for daring to say that some good was found in the residential school system - lest I state again, a Government of Canada policy of indigenous assimilation.

Since November, this writer has weekly lambasted this hireling for betraying us. The monsignor he cancelled was on the "A-team."  If Cardinal Woke would throw this priest under the bus, could you imagine what he would do to those not so favoured? Is it any wonder that none dare to challenge him?

Next Sunday our churches will move to 25% capacity, the next phase is less clear as Ford has not announced capacity limits. Will it be 50%? It certainly won't be 100% - they are having too much fun at this and Thomas Collins has displayed clearly for all of us what a hireling he is - doing the government's bidding and betraying John and Mary Catholic. The writing is on the wall and it will be there for all to see. The Collins legacy will be closed parishes and a politically-controlled church in Toronto.

A sad legacy.

Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga vandalised - Holy Name of Jesus blasphemed!

Toronto's Cardinal Collins throws faithful Monsignor under the Cancel Culture Bus! UPDATED - COLLINS CANCELS MONSIGNOR!

CANCELLED!

Forced to resign?

Monsignor Owen Keenan is the Pastor of Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga, west of Toronto. I know Monsignor Keenan. We are not close friends, but he did bring me in as Cantor at his first parish, St. John the Evangelist. He was sent to Rome by Collins to study Canon Law and we kept in touch then and somewhat since. He is a good man and solid in the faith. I remember him telling me once about this blog and that I should always remember that, "prudence is the mother of all virtues."

In a homily at a Mass, allegedly attended by the Mayor of Mississauga who caused a fuss, who threw him under the Facebook Train, Monsignor said, "Two-thirds of the country is blaming the church, which we love, for the tragedies that occurred there. (the residential schools) Now I presume that the same number would thank the church for the good that was done in those schools but of course, that  question was never asked and in fact, we are not allowed to even say that good was done in those schools.”

Is Monsignor correct? Yes, and good for him for saying it. Is prudence still, "the mother of all virtues." Yes, and timing is everything and so is knowing your audience. If Monsignor failed anywhere, it was there. That’s it.

On the same day that Father Marco Testa writes in Catholic Insight on the matter of cancelling priests, Thomas Cardinal Collins summoned Monsignor to a Zoom meeting to hang him from the yardarm, lest he be forced to cancel him or send him off to Southdown for re-education adding to a long and growing list of cancelled Toronto priests, for all the wrong reasons.

Below is the statement wherein Monsignor must grovel to the Cardinal and the vultures in the media and the protestors outside the parish last evening. Collins is no better than those of a century ago. Now, as then, Church leaders in Canada took government largess to undermine the lives and rights of the faithful. Then, we went along with government policy and tore children away from their families. today, we tear the sacraments away from the people.

If Monsignor Owen Keenan can be so betrayed and unsupported and thrown under the culture wars Marxist bus by Collins, can you imagine what it is like for others who do not kowtow to this, not so latent, tyrant?

Careful Fathers, Collins will "shut you down."

Yes, he will.

Quite the legacy.

Statements on Last Weekend's Homily at Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga

Posted : Jun-24-2021

A number of people have reached out to the archdiocese to express their concern over a homily delivered at Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga, Ont., on the weekend of June 19/20.

We apologize to anyone who was offended by the remarks of Msgr. Owen Keenan, of Merciful Redeemer Parish.

Below is a statement from Msgr. Keenan, followed by a statement the Archdiocese of Toronto.

I would like to communicate to the faithful and all those who have expressed concerns about my homily the weekend of 19/20 June 2021. I want to acknowledge the pain and anger which has been magnified as the result of a portion of my remarks being circulated in social media and elsewhere. I apologize sincerely for any hurt I have caused and pledge to do better, especially at a time when there is a national conversation underway regarding residential schools.

I am deeply sorry, embarrassed, ashamed and shocked at the revelations of abuse, destruction and harm done in Residential Schools across this country. As a Catholic and a Priest, I in no way condone the Residential School System, I regret deeply that these places existed, and I lament the harm that was caused. If and when I get a chance to meet survivors, I will seek their forgiveness. It pains me enormously to see the flags of my country, which I love, to be flying at half-staff in mourning because of something done by members of my Church, which I also love.

I am, in my own limited way, committed to advancing the cause of Truth and Reconciliation with our Indigenous Brothers and Sisters and to listen and learn more about the pain and suffering experienced by so many.

I am sorry for any hurt I have caused. I ask for your pardon, understanding and prayers.

Respectfully yours,

Msgr Owen Keenan

Statement from the Archdiocese of Toronto (June 23, 2021) regarding recent remarks from Msgr. Owen Keenan

We are aware of remarks made in a homily by Msgr. Owen Keenan on the weekend of June 19/20, 2021, that have upset and angered many in the community. Earlier this month, Msgr. Keenan joined churches throughout the archdiocese in offering apologies, prayers and a desire to journey together on a path to reconciliation in the midst of the national conversation on residential schools. He reiterated the need for an apology in his remarks this past weekend.

The archdiocese has been in contact with Msgr. Keenan to convey the deep pain and anger felt by those hurt by his words. Msgr. Keenan has pledged to fully educate himself, with the appropriate support, to gain a more wholesome understanding of the full history of residential schools and their impact in our country. We apologize to anyone who was offended by his remarks.

As previously stated by Cardinal Collins, “We all seek the truth and the recent discovery in Kamloops provides yet another opportunity for us to learn more about this dark chapter in our history and the painful journey experienced by so many of our Indigenous brothers and sisters.”

In Toronto it's 15% Sunday in Ordinary Time - Recalling a time when Collins fullfiled his word, "I will shut you down!

All quiet on the Cardinal Collins front. He seems quite satisfied with himself having convinced Ontario Premier Doug Ford to classify religious services at the same level of importance as shopping for a pool noodle. Yes, friends, Collins has betrayed and abandoned us. The Church in Canada, as with the Residential Schools, has sided with evil Canadian governments for money rather than the little people.

During the draconian shutdowns, many priests cowered in their rectories, no doubt worried about their own "compromised immune systems." Not all did, though. Many did reach out to their flocks by phone, by email, by caring and did administer the sacraments and did so because it was what they were called to do by Our Lord in spite of the bully and tyrant who told them all in a webinar, "I will shut you down." God reward them all.

In 2010, Collins did shut down a parish - a growing community. It was the Toronto Apostolate of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. They arrived in 2007 and took over an indult community and quickly started to grow it. They turned the Sunday, quiet Low Mass to a full sung Missa Cantata. They were treated badly. This writer was the Schola Master and Choir Director. Having been promised their own parish it was finally granted and three days later, cancelled. The enemies had heard of it and had enough - they ganged up on Collins and demanded he reverse his decision which he has often done after revolt and the Director of Communications spun the scandal that it was the FSSP priest's fault. "He released the information," said Neil MacCarthy to this writer. "Really Neil? Then how did it get into the Archdiocesan Update and on the web page? Is Father V your Webmaster?" The parish was to be Canadian Martyrs whose community would have been merged with St. Brigid Parish. Two months later, Collins banned Holy Communion on the tongue due to the last China Virus, H1N1. In the bulletin, Father V wrote, "At this Mass in accord with the laws of the Universal Church, Holy Communion is only received on the tongue." He defied the Cardinal and a few months later, Collins made sure that Father V and the Superior General of the FSSP knew it.

He shut them down.

The result of this is that today, as for the last year, the famous Toronto Oratory will provide holy communion on the hand only at the traditional Latin Masses.

Yet, after his edict, this writer attended the funeral Mass of Msgr. T. Barrett Armstrong of St. Michael's Choir School. On the left in line, I went to the Deacon for Holy C0mmunion and abiding Collins' edict, received in the hand. On my right was the Cardinal who gave Holy Communion to people on the tongue. Do as I say and not as I do is not good leadership.

In Markham, northwest of Toronto, this privately-owned Cathedral of the Transfiguration which can hold 1000 will be filled to the dictated limit and 300 or so at two Masses will attend the Holy Mass. More than the Cardinal will have in his own Cathedral.

The post-CCP Virus Church in Toronto is going into dark days and well deserved

Quite the legacy.
