"At a February 8 lecture at Cambridge University, Fr. Thomas Rosica, executive director of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation, suggested Archbishop Viganò was a liar. Rosica, known for his pro-homosexual views, used the phrase “diabolical masterpiece” while describing the Vatican whistle-blower’s witness."
Mrs. Cummings McLean goes further, exposing Rosica as a plagiarizer.
This is not the first time that Rosica has plagiarised the work of others. This blog has repeatedly quoted Rosica:
"Will this Pope re-write controversial Church doctrines? No. But that isn't how doctrine changes. Doctrine changes when pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge such that particularly doctrinal formulations no longer mediate the saving message of God's transforming love. Doctrine changes when the Church has leaders and teachers who are not afraid to take note of new contexts and emerging insights. It changes when the Church has pastors who do what Francis has been insisting: leave the securities of your chanceries, of your rectories, of your safe places, of your episcopal residences go set aside the small minded rules that often keep you locked up and shielded from the world."
Except, it wasn't his original thought. He uses it in this video without any attribution to the originator, Dr. Richard Gailladartz in an article that appeared in the National Catholic Reporter.
Rosica has a habit of plagiarizing others. He has done it again.
Plagiarising is lying.
Rosica will no doubt be a spokesman at the already discredited Synod on abuse.

That he can only plagiarize off of this crowd, is only further hilarious.
How stupid does one have to be that one cannot come up with material any more original than gay fadder Martin?
This Rosica ran a magazine and TV channel?
Rosacea, you think you clever? Let me show you that we are on to you, poor man.
"Doctrine changes when pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge such that particular doctrinal formulations no longer mediate the saving message of God's transforming love".
Rosacea, you there?
Let me show you that we the ossified legalistic judgemental simpletons know exactly what you mean, when you plagiarise other liars:
Doctrine changes when, instructed by us, people embrace sin (change of pastoral context, eh?) so that the Church's doctrinal formulations condemn them, when we the pastors prompt them to sin freely and to believe that God is love, and condemns no one.
"Doctrine changes when the Church has leaders and teachers who are not afraid to take note of new contexts and emerging insights."
Here we go:
Doctrine changes when the Church has been infiltrated by apostates, heretics, sodomites and non-believers, who have no fear of God and His justice, and who are willing to manipulate and distort the teaching of our Lord God as well as Church Fathers, to insist that sin must no longer be seen as God has defined it.
"It changes when the Church has pastors who do what Francis has been insisting: leave the securities of your chanceries, of your rectories, of your safe places, of your episcopal residences go set aside the small minded rules that often keep you locked up and shielded from the world."
It changes when compromised traitors calling themselves pastors follow their buffoonish bully-leader in the strictest papolatry: leave the truth and safety of sound teaching, leave the Church Fathers, leave the Holy Bible, neglect spiritual needs of the people of their parishes, and open themselves to the world, such as sodomite bars, beach houses and Vatican apartments filled with cocaine and male prostitutes as well as young clerics, and set aside holy oaths, due rejection of the world, celibacy and responsibility to the faithful (small-minded rules for backward bead-counters) to become one with the fallen world in an act of carnal ecstasy, blaspheming God and embracing hell.
How do you like a simpleton's emerging insights, you plague to the Church? By the way, they are not emerging, for your ways are as simple and straightforward as... sodomy.
Rosica is simply applying the same Hegelian synthesis to morals that Ratzinger and the other modernists applied to faith back in the 60s.
Dorota, I agree. At this point I believe the Orthodox East were on to something in their criticism of the Roman Church so long ago.
@ Paul Morphy,
I sincerely hope that Rosica never crosses my path in this life, because I wouldn't hesitate, not even for one second, kicking the crap out of that creep Rosica.
