Ireland has fallen

There is not much that one can write about the results of the referendum to repeal the constitutional amendment prohibiting abortion in Ireland. On this Trinity Sunday, it's constitutional preamble is a mockery.

No one should be surprised about the outcome; sad, but not surprised.

The blame for this lays squarely on a silent pope and a cabal of derelict bishops who did little to nothing to preach to the faithful the evil of abortion. The blame is also on those bishops who permitted sodomites into the priesthood who undermined the faith of the people.

The people of Ireland will live to regret what they have done. We in Canada and the United States had little "choice" in the matter. In both our countries, abortion was forced upon us by supreme court justices. We were not asked, we did not vote for it.

You in Ireland voted for the devil.

You will pay dearly for your betrayal of Christ. You will celebrate now but later you will weep and gnash your teeth.

Not even Cromwell himself could have imagined this.

I just read the comments in the Journal.ie. If that is a representation of how the Irish feel they are now foaming to privatize Catholic schools and make them secular. A number of comments referenced that issue, they want the Catholic Church OUT of schools and society. The venom toward the Church is palpable, and they still reference the Magdalene laundries, etc., despite there being no evidence of these being true. It does not matter anymore.
To see all these Irish parrot the talking points of NOW and feminism, the men saying "not my body, not my choice". It's as if a colossal ignorance has come over Ireland, like a chimp sitting at a typewriter and believing he is pecking out a masterpiece. They want to be the cool kid, they do not wish to be thought of as old-fashioned Ireland, no, they want to be on the cutting edge of modern thought. Now their women are "liberated" and FREE.
But they have rejected God, with both hands! They have rejected Catholicism and Christianity. It is no accident their political head is an open homosexual, and that we see the mob of homosexuals in our church and the damage they are doing. This is not incidental. It is inevitable.
Ireland, you are cheering your own end, your own destruction. Like Egypt you do not yet realize that the destruction you wish on your own unborn you will bring down on your own heads.

Two thirds voted in favour ,one third against, the prolife groups put up a good battle ,they could not compete with the money pumped in from overseas, but the battle is not over ,its only just beginning. The Vatican is on board the UN population control ,climate change agenda. Another 2 referendums coming up ,to remove the blasphemy clause from the constitution and a section recognising the importance of women in the home ,not been forced out to work through hardship.

To accept abortion is to accept the basic premise of totalitarianism, as Pope JPII told Americans.

Because the Irish have chosen abortion (unlike Americans and Canadians) they will be punished with Muslim, globalist totalitarianism much more swiftly. Like the British, those who protest will, like Tommy Robinson, be arrested and put in prison, where Muslims will murder them with impunity.

Ireland is over. They have chosen to ape their long-time oppressor, England.

I'd like to echo what you said, the whole country did not sign themselves over to satan. A significant number of heroic and valiant activists worked day and night campaigning for the unborn so Vox how about a mention for those valiant Irish who tried to face down a whole legion of hell? Ireland has been bought off by EU money a long time ago, added to that the most vitriolic and biased media in any political campaign in history,as well as countless so called celebrities or vermin as they should be called and then to top it all off that odious frog like creature soros pumping his money into the mix! God bless the heroic 33% and also the county of Donegal for their brave fight!

All that being said,I have never in all my days ever been ashamed to be Irish, knowing the majority of my own people jumped into bed with Lucifer turns my guts and breaks my heart and now my shame and anger is such that i don't consider myself Irish anymore,so before people are too quick to attach labels to all of the Irish remember a significant number are still principled and still faithful!

NOW we see the fruits of the "Francis effect". It has only just begun, God help us.

Hallo from Direland, 27-5-2018
I voted NO and I believe that friendships have been lost because of differing views, My good friend voted YES and I am troubled as to keeping company with him anymore. We are two batchelors in our sixties who meet for a pint once a month. I feel I cannot sit with him anymore.
When we NOs won I was going to remove the "LOVE BOTH, VOTE NO" bumper sticker from my car. I did not want to rub the YES side noses in it so to speak.
I have decided to leave the sticker on the car as a badge of honour so to speak. Clergy in Ireland will explain to St Peter at the pearly gates why they are spineless, but will St Peter let them in?

They didn't want to be backward and old-fashioned. They run with the cool kids now. Where to? - Nowhere god, this we know. I saw a clip of some of them chanting some weeks ago: "Whoes need abortion!"
It is heart-braking, dear Irish People, to read your words. Sadness everywhere, and Francis demands joy. Forward! - is his order.

I have little to say these days. It has been too much destruction and evil, got nothing to add.

Hello Ridire, you and RC remind us that there were lots of good Irish who tried hard to save babies. Thank you for trying, God bless you. It's just hard to remember that with the glaring knowledge of what's happened. There is a huge reaction to this vote, and if it was anywhere else maybe people would hardly notice, but your homeland was different. It's hard to see what's happened, makes us face some hard realities about where we are. I'm of Irish descent, and in my mind Ireland was yes, the land of the Quiet Man. It's hard to see your people celebrate the future death of babies.
To know our pope and bishops and cardinals were silent, as they were on the Irish same sex marriage vote, this one's rough. They made some tiny squeaks about Alfie Evans, but they don't care at all about the babies they can't see.

"You will celebrate now but later you will weep and gnash your teeth."..........truer words were never spoken. The pathetically blinded by the darkness and ignorant fools that voted 'YES' will rue the day, and so will the so called 'Bishops' of Ireland. They rightfully should follow the Chilean Bishops and resign.......or be sacked if they don't. The blood of the innocent is dripping from their hands and from the hands of Jorge Bergoglio as well!

The Irish vote in favor of abortion was not the result of foreign money (would you cease being prolife after reading a glossy brochure or seeing a TV ad on the “benefits” of abortion?), nor the silence of the Pope and the present Irish hierarchy. The fact is the vast majority of Irish “Catholics” had already been paganized decades earlier. Certainly these contemporary churchmen are to be held accountable for not at least trying to re-catechize Ireland. However the root of the Ireland’s Apostasy on Saturday go back decades. Not only did the Irish State formally, but millions of Catholics - so-called- were excommunicated. Ireland - and we have to get this firmly into our heads so as not to delude ourselves - is Apostate; there certainly are pockets of Catholicism, but in her highest form of national organization, Ireland apostized. This is monumental. Ireland, as a State has firmly placed itself in the camp of Satan.

I wonder if the government will be held to account for the numerous legitimate names of old people they deleted from the Voters' Register in a Dublin suburb while allowing plane loads of returning non-resident Irish(?) to vote? This also happened in the last referendum there on SSM. Smells of Soros colluding with Varadkar & Vatican - NWO godless totalitarian society guaranteed whichever way you vote, or aren't given one, the result will be the same. Recent Isle of Man Abortion Law was supported by Bishop of Liverpool who also nastily referred to Alfie Evans's parents as non-Catholic, so wasn't interested. Didn't know that the baby was baptised a Catholic as was his father, & had the priest who helped them through the ordeal sent back to Italy. They call themselves Catholics? More like homosexual Marxists grouping together against the CC.

Dear people, they are not "our pope and bishops and cardinals". We are Catholics. They are not. They are whores of lucifer. Their cursed church is not the Catholic Church. LET THEM BE ANATHEMA. Catholic sedevacantism = true Catholicism. Nothing can, nor will change for us. We have the immutable Faith of our fathers. That and bugger all else!!!

Dorota, I feel your pain in your words. Yesterday's reading, "I am with you always, even unto the consummation of the world" is what we cling to, though all goes sour around us, we have that.

God bless you Ridire. We are either in the Kingdom of Christ or that of Satan. No inbetween. Born of Irish parents in UK I studied in Northern Ireland. This is where I lost my faith, got pregnant + came to England to murder my unborn child. Through the prayers of my mother who had multiple miscarriages trying to have children, I came back to the faith. I cannot put into words the grief this heinous action has caused me physically, emotionally + spiritually. I intend spending the rest of my life doing penance + making reparation. Do all those Yes voters know by doing so know they have incurred automatic excommunication (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2272).St Patrick , I have read, is to judge the Irish on the Last Day. God have mercy on all the Irish - especially those who truly do not know what they have just done.
Our Lady of Knock, pray for us
All you holy Saints of Ireland, intercede for us.

Yes, it is easy to condemn Ireland out of hand for the referendum. Yet, over 723,000 voted to keep the protection of the unborn – not an insignificant number, but not enough to overcome “the forces of evil” – this time.

The public exultation of the ‘Yes’ voters – mostly young women – is hard to watch. Their “my body, my choice, me first” is a pathetic reflection on their lack of a moral compass. They think this gives them ‘freedom’ and control over their lives, but it merely enslaves them to the atheistic beliefs of NOW, Planned Parenthood and radical feminism.

As abortions will inevitably increase – and be ‘on demand’ eventually - there will be a backlash. It will come when women finally realize what they have done and men realize what they have enabled. The resultant mental anguish and remorse will have to be dealt with and only the saving compassion and mercy of the Catholic Church will provide healing. But, by then will anyone recognize that and avail of it?

No huge, grand-scale victories will be obtained as long as there is not a change in the ecclesiastical hierarchy; no website, organisation etc. can replace this. Only a militantly orthodox hierarchy, spiritually and perpetually supplied with the blessings that sound religious call down upon Holy Church with their prayers, will create the scenario where David will break the skull of Goliath in this apostate society.

When a country has had a long history as a Catholic nation, and it falls into apostasy, the pain that those countrymen experience who have fought unto the bitter end to hold back the darknesses from wrenching the gates of the citadel is beyond description. It has happened to the Habsburgian Low Countries, where my cradle has stood, as it has happened to all the countries of Holy Europe of yore; and, truthfully, it had already befallen green Erin as well, but today the dark shadow has become thicker, as impure Varadkar the Indian prepares to unleash a barbarous, public mass extermination of her children. Sprung are the harpstrings of Erin, and silent the voice of her bards, as she is received gloomfully among the slain, descending into the Hades of death.

The tides will yet be turned, but not before a man of God will take away desolation from the threefold crown of Rome;

For the mists of demoncraft will falter
And the days of terror shan't endure;
A man ascends to vindicate the Altar,
And renders a defiled priesthood pure.

In the chosen day the dust must yet be blown
From a crown that in forgotten days had reigned;
In days of tumult will it be wondrously bestown
by Sadoc's priestly hand, the Holy Empire be regained.

@ Paul Morphy.

I am Irish, born and bred in Dublin. I campaigned in support of retaining the constitutional protection for the right to life of the unborn.

Our constitution always protected the unborn. Until last Friday. Not only did our electorate vote to remove the protection, they voted in favour of abortion on demand.

Can any other nation claims to have actually voted in favour of killing the unborn? I can't think of any other country ever doing this.

I am ashamed to be Irish. I am ashamed that my country has voted for this evil. What have we become?

I knew from canvassing for votes before the referendum that there were a huge amount of people who told me that they were "undecided". I knew our campaign was up against it, but I never for a second that there would be a ration 2:1.
I thought the vote would be 50/50 at best. Obviously those "undecided" wanted repeal.

As a nation we have told God where to go. We are openly defying Him. We are bringing this upon ourselves.

We deserve punishment for this open defiance of Him. God help us.

Apparently the referendum was rigged and most Irish did in fact reject abortion. Falsifying popular votes when peoples resist their will is what masonic governments do continuously. Irishmen must openly confront the sodomite Indian with what he has wrought, for it is against God and mankind that the synarchist rulers are waging their war. May the Immaculata protect all those who fight for divine justice.
