God bless all of you, my dear readers and friends

I've not much time to post, I leave on a two-hour drive in a few minutes to chant the Mass for the Octave Day of Christmas or what we once called, the Feast of the Circumcision of Our Lord. How ironic it is in the NewChurch desire to have all things ecumenical and inter-religious that the very Jewishness of the Lord Jesus is downplayed and substituted with rather banal Talmudic table blessings inserted in the Holy Sacrifice masquerading as an Offertory.

Perhaps we shall post soon on the ridiculousness of the Feast of Holy Family being transferred to yesterday.

That being said, I must dash. A blessed day to you and God bless you for 2018

Happy New Year!

Seems we're off to a good start as a fraternal correction of sorts has been issued -

Hello Mr. Domet, I owe you an apology. Several years ago I wrote to you asking for advice. You gave me excellent advice, but I expressed myself badly in my response and you thought I was being rude. I should have written at the time to explain what I meant, but I didn't do it right away and time went on and I let it go. The start of a new year gives me yet another chance to do what I should have done immediately. I apologize unreservedly for my bad manners. Thank you for all you do. May God grant you and your family every grace and blessing in 2018.

Dear Ellen,

Thank you for your kind note and words. Whatever it was, it is long forgotten by me, and whatever it was, is forgiven.

God bless you.
