The quote of the day from Venerable Fulton Sheen who probably had the sodomite Spellman in mind.
It applies to many.
And they know who they are.
"Today Our attention is directed to one of the most common of them (abuses), one of the most difficult to eradicate, and the existence of which is sometimes to be deplored in places where everything else is deserving of the highest praise; the beauty and sumptuousness of the temple, the splendor and the accurate performance of the ceremonies, the attendance of the clergy, the gravity and piety of the officiating ministers. Such is the abuse affecting sacred chant and music."- St. Pius X, Pope

I want to thank you, D, and F. for beautifully singing in our little side of Heaven on earth today at Carmel Heights. It's a little known place for lovely daily Low Masses and High Masses and it's always a huge treat to have you both singing for us, with all humility and for no other reason than to glorify God and (of course) to help the Chaplain of the Extraordinary Form for the Archdiocese, Fr. Asch, whom we are so lucky to have. We are looking forward to having you sing for our Midnight Mass this year! I can never thank you both enough. God bless. MJ.
Dear Ody,
F and I thank your so much for your kind words and appreciation. It is wonderful to assist at the Carmel and the little community of faithful there and our good friend and Father.
God bless you and thank you once again.
D
This sleazy guy Cardinal Spellman did one fair thing: he bought from Paul VI his new coronation tiara. This pope solemnly renounced his royal dignity on November 13, 1964 during a Greek Catholic rite service in Saint Peter's Basilica, Vatican. The tiara waits at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. until the smallest one in God's Kingdom puts it on.
