The Catholic Church has never rescinded the penalty of "excommunication" for those who enroll in "Masonic or other similar association"

Below are two documents from the Vatican on the matter of Freemasonry and "similar associations."

Given that Rotary, and the Lion's Club, were founded by the same Freemason, one can reasonable ask the question, "are these amongst the "similar associations" referred to?"

If that is the case, why did the Bishop of Rome hold an audience yesterday for Rotarians who support financially, Planned Parenthood and why did he accept honourary membership in the organisation?

The Catholic faithful have a right to know!

Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith

On 19 July 1974 this Congregation wrote to some Episcopal Conferences a private letter concerning the interpretation of can 2335 of the Code of Canon Law which forbids Catholics, under the penalty of excommunication, to enroll in Masonic or other similar associations.
Since the said letter has become public and has given rise to erroneous and tendentious interpretations, this Congregation, without prejudice to the eventual norms of the new Code, issues the following confirmation and clarification:
1) the present canonical discipline remains in full force and has not been modified in any way;
2) consequently, neither the excommunication nor the other penalties envisaged have been abrogated;
3) what was said in the aforesaid letter as regards the interpretation to be given to the canon in question should be understood – as the Congregation intended – merely as a reminder of the general principles of interpretation of penal laws for the solution of the cases of individual persons which may be submitted to the judgment of ordinaries. It was not, however, the intention of the Congregation to permit Episcopal Conferences to issue public pronouncements by way of a judgment of a general character on the nature of Masonic associations, which would imply a derogation from the aforesaid norms.

Rome, from the Office of the S. Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, 17 February 1981.
Franjo Cardinal Seper
Fr. Jerome Hamer, O.P.Titular Archbishop of Lorium

It has been asked whether there has been any change in the Church’s decision in regard to Masonic associations since the new Code of Canon Law does not mention them expressly, unlike the previous Code.
This Sacred Congregation is in a position to reply that this circumstance in due to an editorial criterion which was followed also in the case of other associations likewise unmentioned inasmuch as they are contained in wider categories.
Therefore the Church’s negative judgment in regard to Masonic association remains unchanged since their principles have always been considered irreconcilable with the doctrine of the Church and therefore membership in them remains forbidden. The faithful who enrol in Masonic associations are in a state of grave sin and may not receive Holy Communion.
It is not within the competence of local ecclesiastical authorities to give a judgment on the nature of Masonic associations which would imply a derogation from what has been decided above, and this in line with the Declaration of this Sacred Congregation issued on 17 February 1981 (cf. AAS 73 1981 pp. 240-241; English language edition of L’Osservatore Romano, 9 March 1981).
In an audience granted to the undersigned Cardinal Prefect, the Supreme Pontiff John Paul II approved and ordered the publication of this Declaration which had been decided in an ordinary meeting of this Sacred Congregation.

http://thewildvoice.org/pope-francis-rotary-masonic/#Papal%20Decree%20Banning%20Clergy%20Rotary%20Club On January 11, 1951, The Vatican issued a Decree banning "members of the clergy" from belonging to a Rotary club association.

This means that Bergoglio is excommunicated since 1999 when in disobedience to the Catholic Church he rebelled and join the Rotary Club.

Prophecies of Anne Catherine Emmerich:
"I see a lot of ecclesiastical punishment of excommunication, which does not seem to care or even know. And yet they are excommunicated when they take part in these enterprises, as they enter partnerships and embracing opinions who bear the anathema. I see these men as a cloud surrounded by a wall of separation .(AA.III.148).

A Time Predicted by the Enemies of the Church
"In a hundred years time . . .bishops and priests will think they are marching behind the banner of the keys of Peter when in fact they will be following our flag . . . The reforms will have to be brought about in the name of obedience." Alta Vendita\masonic document

I am always encouraged to be affirmed via all these documents as to the pros and cons of our Catholic Faith. Is it ever possible for an individual, be he/she cleric or lay, to have a private conversation with Pope Francis along the lines above described? All this knowledge seems to stay and be educational for the faithful. Who is next on the private audience calendar and can advance the above information vis-a-vis Masonic membership to the Pope and tell him how disturbed we are and how this is leading to a schism?

The following are the main encyclicals against Freemasonry:

IN EMINENTI APOSTOLATUS of Pope Clement XII, (1738.)
PROVIDAS Romanorum Pontificum of Benedict XIV (1751).
QUO GRAVIORA, C. A. of Leo XII (1826).
QUIBUS QUANTISQUE of Pius IX (1849). (French.)
PASCENDI DOMINICI GREGIS of S. Pius X (09/08/1907).

In Eminenti Apostolatus, Pope Clement XII - Is confirmed verbatim by Pope Benedict XIV in Providas Romanorum Pontificum; by Pope Pius VII in Ecclesiam a Jesu Christo; by Pope Leo XII in Quo Graviora and by Pope Pius VIII in HumilitatiTraditi:

"We ... have decreed that these same Societies, Companies, Assemblies, Meetings, Congregations, or Conventicles of Liberi Muratori or Francs Massons, or whatever other name they may go by, are to be condemned and prohibited, and by Our present Constitution, valid for ever, We do condemn and prohibit them ... We command most strictly and in virtue of holy obedience, all the faithful of whatever state ... that none, under any pretext or for any reason, shall dare or presume to enter, propagate or support these aforesaid societies of Liberi Muratori or Francs Massons, or however else they are called, or to receive them in their houses or dwellings or to hide them, be enrolled among them, joined to them, be present with them, give power or permission for them to meet elsewhere, to help them in any way, to give them in any way advice, encouragement or support either openly or in secret, directly or indirectly, on their own or through others; nor are they to urge others or tell them, incite or persuade them to be enrolled in such societies or to be counted among their number, or to be present or to assist them in any way; but they must stay completely clear of such Societies, Companies, Assemblies, Meetings, Congregations or Conventicles, under pain of excommunication ... which is incurred by the very deed without any declaration being required, and from which no one can obtain the benefit of absolution, other than at the hour of death, except through Ourselves or the Roman Pontiff of the time."

Qui Pluribus:
"Each of you has noticed, venerable brothers, that a very bitter and fearsome war against the whole Catholic commonwealth is being stirred up by men bound together in a lawless alliance. These men do not preserve sound doctrine, but turn their hearing from the truth. They eagerly attempt to produce from their darkness all sorts of prodigious beliefs, and then to magnify them with all their strength, and to publish them and spread them among ordinary people. We shudder indeed and suffer bitter pain when We reflect on all their outlandish errors and their many harmful methods, plots and contrivances. These men use these means to spread their hatred for truth and light. They are experienced and skillful in deceit, which they use to set in motion their plans to quench peoples' zeal for piety, justice and virtue, to corrupt morals, to cast all divine and human laws into confusion, and to weaken and even possibly overthrow the Catholic religion and civil society. For you know, venerable brothers, that these bitter enemies of the Christian name, are carried wretchedly along by some blind momentum of their mad impiety; they go so far in their rash imagining as to teach without blushing, openly and publicly, daring and unheard-of doctrines, thereby uttering blasphemies against God.[1] They teach that the most holy mysteries of our religion are fictions of human invention, and that the teaching of the

Catholic Church is opposed to the good and the prerogatives of human society. They are not even afraid to deny Christ Himself and God ... "It is an act of great piety to expose the concealments of the impious and to defeat there the devil himself, whose slaves they are.[18] Therefore We entreat you to use every means of revealing to your faithful people the many kinds of plot, pretense, error, deceit and contrivance which our enemies use. This will turn them carefully away from infectious books. Also exhort them unceasingly to flee from the sects and societies of the impious as from the presence of a serpent, earnestly avoiding everything which is at variance with the wholeness of faith, religion and morality...This is the goal too of the crafty Bible Societies which renew the old skill of the heretics and ceaselessly force on people of all kinds, even the uneducated, gifts of the Bible. They issue these in large numbers and at great cost, in vernacular translations, which infringe the holy rules of the Church. The commentaries which are included often contain perverse explanations; so, having rejected divine tradition, the doctrine of the Fathers and the authority of the Catholic Church, they all interpret the words of the Lord by their own private judgment, thereby perverting their meaning. As a result, they fall into the greatest errors. Gregory XVI of happy memory, Our superior predecessor, followed the lead of his own predecessors in rejecting these societies in his apostolic letters.[16] It is Our will to condemn them likewise...
Also perverse is the shocking theory that it makes no difference to which religion one belongs, a theory which is greatly at variance even with reason. By means of this theory, those crafty men remove all distinction between virtue and vice, truth and error, honorable and vile action. They pretend that men can gain eternal salvation by the practice of any religion, as if there could ever be any sharing between justice and iniquity, any collaboration between light and darkness, or any agreement between Christ and Belial."

Humanum Genus (Pope Leo XIII, 1884.)
"... the partisans of evil seems to be combining together, and to be struggling with united vehemence, led on or assisted by that strongly organized and widespread association called the Freemasons. No longer making any secret of their purposes, they are now boldly rising up against God Himself. They are planning the destruction of holy Church publicly and openly, and this with the set purpose of utterly despoiling the nations of Christendom ... and now the time has come when the partisans of the sects openly declare, what in secret among themselves they have for a long time plotted, that the sacred power of the Pontiffs must be abolished, and that the papacy itself, founded by divine right, must be utterly destroyed ... this apostolic see denounced the sect of the Freemasons, and publicly declared its constitution, as contrary to law and right, to be pernicious no less to Christiandom than to the State; and it forbade any one to enter the society, under the penalties which the Church is wont to inflict upon exceptionally guilty persons ... It may seem to some that Freemasons demand nothing that is openly contrary to religion and morality; but, as the whole principle and object of the sect lies in what is vicious and criminal, to join with these men or in any way to help them cannot be lawful."
(Human Genus is an extensive analysis and condemnation of masonry.)

If can 2335 of the Code of Canon Law hasn't been rescinded, then it definitely hasn't been enforced either, as countless Popes, Cardinals & Bishops have been documented by Freemason Lodges as having been members, including St. Pope John XXIII. If such men were de facto excommunicated by virtue of their being freemasons then they should not have been able to attain any high office in the CC or even been priests. How many ordinations were carried out by such men which, presumably, were null & void because of this canon? Why hasn't Cardinal Müller and the CDF clarified this matter, as it could be that we have been without proper pastors/Bishops, Cardinals & Popes for generations and not only since Vatican II. It would certainly be of the utmost importance now in order to oust the Modernists within the Vatican. Maybe some notable lay Canon Lawyer could enlighten us?

Dear Ana, Roncalli and Montini became judeo-masons on the same day. They were automatically excommunicated on that day (if not long before for other heresies). If they were then no longer members of the Church, how could they be elected to the Papacy? Non-Catholics are not, to this day, eligible for election. How can someone who is not even a member of the Mystical Body, be the Head of that Body? If they were not Popes, how can Vatican II, or anything that flows from it, be valid? All the conciliar popes wore the satanic pallium, (I'm not sure of JPI and Montini wore the ephod), including Bergoglio, who wears it to this day - Patriarch of the World no less! So why do people, including the SSPX, still insist that the conciliar popes are, or were, valid Popes? I seriously don't understand it. I hope someone will explain it to me in terms of Catholic doctrine.

You can write encyclicals, make speeches, homilies, or preach, heck, you can even make miracles (thinking that it's your power, not God's using you to prove His power), but if your actions are the opposite of what you're writing or saying, and if you're successfully fooling some people with your lies, rest assured that the God that you're using to seek power, glory, fame and wealth or even a "paradise on earth", will throw you in the fires of Hell when the Day of His Wrath will come. You might feel good about yourself now, but you are so stupid to think about what might happen to you the next minute.

Hey, that was in 1981, and everyone knows that in the chronology of today's modernist Catholic Church, 1981 was practically the stone age! Whatever was said or done back then is more ancient than ancient history in New Church.

How can anyone take the Catholic Church seriously any more. How do I explain this to my son who has left the church? I am beyond angry!

I repeatedly hear that the censure has been abrogated. Why's changed? The Lodge surely hasn't.

Whether Rotary was or was not founded by Freemasons, is or is not a similar organisation, Rotary is prohibited to clergy.

This means Bergoglio was breaking Church law when accepting honorary membership of Buenos Aires Rotary club.
