"Not long after the June 2000 publication of the Third Secret of Fatima by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger told Fr. Dollinger during an in-person conversation that there is still a part of the Third Secret that they have not published! “There is more than what we published,” Ratzinger said. He also told Dollinger that the published part of the Secret is authentic and that the unpublished part of the Secret speaks about “a bad council and a bad Mass” that was to come in the near future."
Why did Father Dollinger give this interview today? This was not the first time that he revealed this information as you will read shortly. What does he know about the current state of affairs and Pope Benedict XVI? Does he feel he is soon to die and wants to clear his conscience? Is he, by doing this, attempting to force what can be done in the blogosphere to raise this matter and focus on it demanding action once and for all?
The late Father Nicholas Gruner spent his life on matters pertaining to Fatima, the Third Secret and the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Many others have also. Books have been written about it and most, with any knowledge of the issues around Fatima, do not believe the truth has been fully released. Even Pope Benedict alluded to this as Hickson states in her article.
Yet, this is not the first time Father Dollinger has spoken out on these matters.
“…Now after this took place, the German theologian who I am referring to went back to the country in South America where he was Rector of a seminary and he explained to a young priest what Cardinal Ratzinger had related to him. And precisely when he related that Our Lady warned against changing the Mass and there would be an evil Council in the Church, the both of them saw a plume of smoke coming up from the floor. Now it was a marble floor. This could not be anything of a natural phenomenon. Both the young priest and the old German Rector were so impressed they drew up a dossier and sent it to Cardinal Ratzinger.”
The time has come!
The Pope must tell the Catholic faithful the truth.
Has the Third Secret of Fatima been released in its fullness?
Did Heaven, through Our Lady, warn John XXIII about the Council and changing the Mass?
Is this the reason that the full Secret was not then and has not now been released? ("It is not for our time," John XXIII was alleged to have said)
Why did Pope Francis visit Archbishop Loris Capovilla, the 90 plus year-old former Secretary to John XXIII who also present at the opening of the Secret. Why was he made a Cardinal at the last consistory?
If this is true; if this is what the Third Secret of Fatima contained, the implications are catastrophic for the Church. It confirms that the Second Vatican Council and the Novus Ordo Missae was a fraud and a direct attack on the Holy Catholic Church straight out of Hell. It calls into question much of what has been done over the last fifty years! It calls into question the canonisations and beatifications of three Popes!
If Dollinger's claims are legitimate, it explains many things including the renouncement of the Office of Peter by Joseph Ratzinger. Was he planning on going further down the road of truth and disclosure? Was he trying to repair the damage, as Hickson surmises, with Summorum Pontificum and the lifting of the excommunications on the SSPX bishops and more that we are unaware of? Was he threatened in some way and forced to resign the papacy? Was he driven from Office?
It's time for answers. The salvation of souls is at stake.
If the Pope, Cardinals and Bishops of the Church do not deal with this, Our Lord Jesus Christ will and it won't be a Church of Nice.

Dear Vox,
Thank you for the fantastic post.
As I've posted here and on other forums, the only way the crisis in the Church will end is when:
1) the Third Secret of Fatima, I.e., the exact words of Our Lady which follow: "In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved..." is revealed, and
2) when the Holy Father orders and makes in union with all the bishops of the world the Collegial Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
That's when the restoration will begin.
And for all those who think that the Third Secret has been fully revealed (not you, Vox), Our Lady does NOT talk in incomplete sentences.
Thank you again for this very important post.
In Christ the King,
Margaret
This message from Fr. Dollinger together with the regularisation of the SSPX may well begin the process of purging Vatican II and Its effect on the entire CC. Traditionalists have been saying all along that the Council needed to be rescinded along with AL and certain other documents considered not fully in keeping with the Magisterium. Of course the Novus Ordo, dumbing down of the sacraments, catechesis, changing the place of the tabernacle etc.and the abandonment of reverential behaviour e.g. genuflecting, making our churches to mirror protestant ones were all condemned.
The two sessions of the Synod on the Family were just a farce, as it has now finally been declared they were dishonestly maneuvered to bring about the desired outcome of PF & cronies. Maybe the end is in sight for this Pontificate and we won't have to witness a Pope commemorating the Protestant Revolt at Lund next October after all. The restoration of Tradition could be brought about very quickly by way of the SSPX & other Traditional Orders and we may yet witness the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary together with the fulfilment of Our Lady's promise that She will in the end triumph.

hearsay = generally not a reliable source of information
How about a lay movement with official conferences demanding that Rome reveal the full third secret? There will never be a better time.
Vox, if then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger stated that the Third Secret concerned a "bad council and a bad Mass", then why did he support fully Vatican II? Why did he support fully the New Mass?
In his letter to the bishops that accompanied Summorum Pontificum, Pope Benedict XVI declared that despite his Motu Proprio, "the new Missal will certainly remain the ordinary Form of the Roman Rite..."
Tradition in Action offered the following report on Pope Benedict XVI's statement that Summorum Pontificum was merely an "act of tolerance" and in no way signaled a step backwards from his support of Vatican II:
http://www.traditioninaction.org/HotTopics/f026ht_Toleration_Galitzin.htm
"En route to Paris on September 12, 2008, the Pope answered four questions from journalists. The third was this: “What do you say to those who, in France, fear that the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum signals a step backwards from the great insights of the Second Vatican Council? How can you reassure them?”
"Benedict responded: “Their fear is unfounded, for this Motu Proprio is merely an act of tolerance, with a pastoral aim, for those people who were brought up with this liturgy, who love it, are familiar with it and want to live with this liturgy.”
The Tradition in Action article continued..."And how will the Conciliar Church achieve this “communion” with conservatives on the topic of liturgy?"
"Benedict explains: “Yet for these people, to have the love and tolerance to let them live with this liturgy seems to me a normal requirement of the faith and pastoral concern of any Bishop of our Church. There is no opposition between the liturgy renewed by the Second Vatican Council and the liturgy celebrated according to the old rite.”
That certainly does not sound like the man who said supposedly that the Third Secret pertained to a bad council and Mass...that is, if he believed that the Third Secret referred to Vatican II and the Novus Ordo.

Vox, all of us recall Pope Benedict XVI's address to the parish priests and clergy of Rome toward the end of his Pontificate. He spoke at length about the "two" Councils: The Vatican II Council of the "media" and the actual Second Vatican Council.
If the Third Secret refers to Vatican II, I mean the actual Council (it's documents), then there is no way that Pope Benedict XVI accepted that as during his above address, he praised the "actual" Vatican II to the hilt.
Here is the final paragraph of his February 14, 2013 A.D. discussion of Vatican II:
"We know that this Council of the media was accessible to everyone. Therefore, this was the dominant one, the more effective one, and it created so many disasters, so many problems, so much suffering: seminaries closed, convents closed, banal liturgy … and the real Council had difficulty establishing itself and taking shape; the virtual Council was stronger than the real Council. But the real force of the Council was present and, slowly but surely, established itself more and more and became the true force which is also the true reform, the true renewal of the Church.
"It seems to me that, 50 years after the Council, we see that this virtual Council is broken, is lost, and there now appears the true Council with all its spiritual force.
"And it is our task, especially in this Year of Faith, on the basis of this Year of Faith, to work so that the true Council, with its power of the Holy Spirit, be accomplished and the Church be truly renewed. Let us hope that that the Lord will assist us."
=============================================================================
The "true Council", the actual documents of Vatican II are filled with the "power of the Holy Spirit", according to Pope Benedict XVI.
Vox, that doesn't square with your comment that the Third Secret "confirms that the Second Vatican Council...was a fraud and a direct attack on the Holy Catholic Church straight out of Hell."
Vox, I don't mean at all to be harsh. I am saying simply that something doesn't add up here. If Pope Benedict XVI claimed that the Third Secret referred to a "bad Council", then most obviously he did not believe that the "bad Council" was Vatican II.
Again, in 2013 A.D., Pope Benedict XVI declared that the actual Second Vatican Council — its documents on liturgy, ecumenism, non-Catholics...The Church in the Modern World (Gaudium et spes), etc. — is filled with "the power of the Holy Spirit".

Vox said..."Was he threatened in some way and forced to resign the papacy? Was he driven from Office?"
Vox, Pope Benedict XVI made it clear that he was not force to resign...he said that he was not driven from Office. He said that the strength of his mind and body had deteriorated to the point that he could fulfil his ministry as Pope. He said that he renounced the Papacy in "full freedom". Nobody had driven him from the Papacy.
Pope Benedict either told the truth or lied. Anyway, he said the following:
"However, in today’s world, subject to so many rapid changes and shaken by questions of deep relevance for the life of faith, in order to govern the barque of Saint Peter and proclaim the Gospel, both strength of mind and body are necessary, strength which in the last few months, has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me.
"For this reason, and well aware of the seriousness of this act, with full freedom I declare that I renounce the ministry of Bishop of Rome, Successor of Saint Peter, entrusted to me by the Cardinals on 19 April 2005..."

This is quite sobering, and not altogether a complete surprise. I am very familiar with the Council's documents, and also with a lot of the misinformation that was propagated on the Church in the so-called "spirit" of Vatican II. So for me, this announcement is a kind of vindication of sorts for those like myself who find themselves in the minority defending what the V2 documents actually said, versus their widely championed errant extrapolations.
The way I see it, now is the time for us to pray for discernment and guidance from the Holy Spirit for the days and weeks ahead. Those of us in positions of influence among fellow Catholics are in great need of this discernment and the courage to speak the truth for the good of the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit is still with us to guide our steps, and Our Lady will help us along the way as we seek to follow her Son and help others do the same.

Mark, "Bad Council, Bad Mass" were part of the "Secret," which Papa Ratzinger allegedly quoted.
Allegedly is the operative word.
The real question is: What are we going to do with this information?
We cannot know with certainty whether this is true or false. But it reminds me of a recent talk by Fr Chad Ripperger, an exorcist, who states that the demons' motto is pretty much 'Anything but God'. That is, whatever distracts us from God, even if it is reading/writing/ruminating on the state of the Church, is playing into their hands. Distraction and possibly temptation to vice.
So. What are we to do? Simply this: Trust in God, -it's His Church after all, He will straighten everything out eventually. He asks us to attend to our own sanctity and fulfil the duties of our states in life. Daily Mass, heartfelt Prayer, Rosary, Adoration and practice of virtue, fasting, whilst depending on God's grace and not our efforts. If the state of the Church is bad, it is because we lack sanctity. Our personal sanctity is the best we can aim for our own salvation, the Church and the greater Glory of God.
And Pray for me that I may do what I say!!
The more time that passes the more it seems like Fr Gruner (RIP) is vindicated. It was Fr. Gruner's group who said that Card Ratzinger made it known that he had two regrets upon ascending the throne in 2005. The first was the excommunication of the SSPX bishops consecrated in 1988. The second was the dog and pony show that was the great unveiling of the Secret in June 2000. Regarding the first, he reportedly said "I made a mistake." Regarding the second, he allegedly said, "My hand was forced." He did the best he could to right the ship. The forces of hell and all on their side within and without the Church HATE Fatima. I cannot stress that enough.
I just re-read Socci's "Fourth Secret of Fatima" and paid closer attention to the footnotes. Apparently Sr. Lucia made it known that the words of Our Lady would be revealed eventually, but during a great war. Whether that great war is spiritual or material or both is up for debate.
May 13 was the beginning of the 100th year of the Fatima appearance. It surely is time for these secret-keepers to tell the truth in its entirety without worrying about what it will do to the faithful. Learning that the fish is rotting from the top down is what we all surmise anyway.
Trying to think objectively, what can we honestly conclude from this amorphous information? We have a blogger reporting on her supposed phone conversation with a very old man recounting his conversation with another old man 15 years ago about a topic none of the laity actually know anything about. The Church has spoken on Fatima and the facts we have (no point wondering about what we do not have) do not conform in any way with this singular and vague recent report. Hickson does not even state she has the permission of Dollinger to publicize his apparently spontaneous comment.
I am not disparaging Fatima, the Church, or the people involved, only trying to siphon out irrelevancies. To build speculation upon these shifting sands seems to me irresponsible and inflammatory, invariably leading to confusion and error, and the most serious, disrespectful to the 2 great men involved.
I have recently discovered your blog and enjoy your outspoken commitment to the truth, although I sometimes wonder whether you are lacking charity when you are fired up about something. I was very interested in this post about Fatima and the Third Secret, but I am surprised that you would question the validity of canonizations. They are considered infallible, are they not? You're not a sedevacantist, are you? St. Thomas Aquinas says, ""Since the honour we pay the saints is in a certain sense a profession of faith, i.e., a belief in the glory of the Saints [quâ sanctorum gloriam credimus] we must piously believe that in this matter also the judgment of the Church is not liable to error." I am concerned that by questioning of the validity of canonizations you could undermine the faith of your readers.
I am certainly not a sedevacantist. If the priests of the Diocese of Rome accept Jorge Bergoglio as their Bishop then who am I too judge that he is not.
Truly, lack of charity is often an issue for me; pray for me.
You are correct, they are "infallible acts." However, I would suspect that if indeed this is true, the prudence of declaring them Saints and Blessed is open to question. I must also ask, if this is true and these men knew it and presided over the loss of millions of souls over the last half century, how on earth can they be declared Saints?
If they are in heaven, they are Saints, that is up to God. Was it prudent for the Church to declare it so? There was no miracle attributed to John XXII, Francis just did it by Papal fiat. As for the "miracle" on Paul VI for beatification? Lots of babies survive with no amniotic fluid!
John Paul II was holy in death.
Don't read this blog if it disturbs your faith, it is not for the faint of heart.
"My hand was forced."
supposed words but one thing ive learned from the past two synods is that supposed statements and conspiracy in the catholic world of late tend to turn out to be true, which makes me wonder about this third secret revelation but im keeping a healthy skepticism. regardless, like Donte, I have utter disdain for cowards, Benedict abandoned his cross, much like his predecessor Celestine - though unlike Celestine he mysteriously keeps the papal trappings and title of pope emeritus. perhaps he now has a new cross to bear witnessing the destruction of a 2,000 year old religion by a peronist chemist.
That is rather scathing... We don't know what Benedict was going through. I agree it is more of a cross for him to witness and suffer the current situation and perhaps that was God's actual Will all along. I don't think you can charitably call him a coward nor his keeping of 'trappings' as if he revels in them. Poor form. I wish he'd stayed too but I have a theory - In this current time we have a Pope and we have a pope Emeritus who spends most of his time in prayer. We need both!
But again. 'Anything but God'. Our personal opinions are worthless. Our own holiness paramount. All else is distraction, temptation.
Vox said..."Don't read this blog if it disturbs your faith, it is not for the faint of heart."
Vox, your blog is must-read for Catholics who love Holy Mother Church. The crisis of faith that has befallen the Church is not for the faint of heart. To run and hide from the crisis benefits neither the individual nor the Universal Church.
You don't hesitate to confront the crisis directly. You also permit people to offer various opinions here. We have to confront the collapse of the Church if we are to repair the Church.
Vox, you are a charitable man who loves Jesus Christ and His True Church.

The message of Akita is said to be no different from that of Fatima. http://www.michaeljournal.org/akita.htm
“Prayer, penance, and courageous sacrifices can soften the Father's anger. I desire this also from your community, that it love poverty, that it sanctify itself and pray in reparation for the ingratitude and outrages of so many men. Recite the prayer of the Handmaids of the Eucharist with awareness of its meaning; put it into practice: offer (whatever God may send) in reparation for sins. Let each one endeavour, according to her capacity and position, to offer herself entirely to the Lord.
“Even in a secular institute, prayer is necessary. Already souls who wish to pray are on the way to being gathered. Without attaching too much attention to the form, be faithful and fervent in prayer to console the Master.”
It was on Saturday, October 13, the anniversary day of the last Apparition of the Virgin Mary to the three children of Fatima, that Mary gave to Sister Agnes Her third Message, the most important and serious one:
“If men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the Bishops and the priests.
“The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see Cardinals opposing Cardinals, Bishops against other Bishops. The priests who venerate Me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres (other priests). Churches and altars will be sacked. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises, and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.
“The demon will be especially implacable against the souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of My sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will no longer be pardon for them.
“...Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able to still save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in Me will be saved.”
When we are 86 years old, carrying around a pacemaker, after serving over half-century vocation to the Church, many decades just inside the contentious Curia, in addition to making some of the most brilliant contributions to theology in 800 years, when we have even 1/100 of a glimpse of that, then we may pass judgment on Benedict.
Sybok..."...I have utter disdain for cowards, Benedict abandoned his cross, much like his predecessor Celestine -..."
Wow! The Church has recognized Pope Saint Celestine V as a holy man. As for Pope Benedict XVI, except for Randy Engel (The Rite of Sodomy: Homosexuality and the Roman Catholic Church), who painted an unflattering portrait of Pope Benedict XVI, the Pope's actions, and the Pope's supposed penchant to flit about in "camp" attire, as well as sedevacantists who insist that he is a heretic, I haven't encountered such a scathing attitude as yours toward Pope Benedict XVI.
I don't know many Catholics who have dismissed Pope Benedict XVI as a "coward" who "abandoned his cross". But that is your opinion.
Considering that in many ways his personality was likely not suited for the world's absolute center stage — the Papacy —, his then-deteriorating strength of mind and body, I would think that far from being a "coward", Pope Benedict XVI "toughed it out" for as long as he could for the sake of Holy Mother Church.

Thanks Vox for posting this confirmation of what many already know. Hopefully this is the straight dope. It sure conforms to the reality of the last 50 years. "Who has ears to hear let him hear." And manage your life accordingly.
