Cardinal Kasper - self evident heretic!

Gay unions now ‘central’ to Synod agenda after Irish vote: Cardinal Kasper

NEWS ANALYSIS

May 29, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- The grave effects of Ireland’s May 22 referendum in favor of a same-sex “marriages,” not only for the secular world, but also especially for the Catholic Church, are showing themselves already.
None other than the leading cardinal who has promoted the liberal agenda for the two-part Synod of Bishops on the Family, Cardinal Walter Kasper, has now come out publicly and with force, telling the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera that the Church needs to address more fully the question of same-sex couples. This topic was at the last Synod “only a marginal topic, but now it becomes central,” Kasper said on Wednesday.
Kasper also defended the vote of the Irish in favor of homosexual “marriages,” saying: “A democratic state has the duty to respect the will of the people; and it seems clear that, if the majority of the people wants such homosexual unions, the state has a duty to recognize such rights.” He also said that the Irish referendum is “emblematic for the situation in which we find ourselves, not only in Europe, but in the whole West.” Kasper also said: “The postmodern concept – following which everything is equal – stands in contrast to the doctrine of the Church.”
Cardinal Kasper made a link between the events in Ireland and the doctrine of the Catholic Church, when he said it now becomes harder for the Church to explain its own moral position to others in the question of homosexuality. “We have to find a new language,” he said. “We have to overcome [unjust] discrimination, which has a long tradition in our culture.” It is important in his view to honor those long-lasting same-sex relationships, which contain “elements of the good,” even though the Church cannot change its fundamental attitude toward them since they are themselves against the teaching of the Gospels.

Astonishing. I've compared Kasper before to the Bond villain who insists on telling you all the details of his nefarious plan before he carries it out, but this takes the cake. He's either very foolish ... or very confident.

Vox,

I believe a sound case could be made showing him not only a heretic but an apostate. This is not hyperbole. Honeyed words that drip from his mouth from time to time cannot hide the fact that he has materially abandoned the Faith.

Additionally he is most certainly in at least material if not de facto schism, since he is ignoring the consistent twenty century history of obedience and unity with ALL the Popes of those centuries. That he is chummy with the current incumbent means very little if he has rejected St Pius X, St Pius V, Gregory The Great and Peter himself.

The Civil Law can change ,Catholic Dogma cannot.Render unto Caesar that which is Caesars ,Render unto God that which is Gods. The Cardinal seems to assume that all same sex couples are Catholic ,which they are not, and therefore the Church must change its teachings ,even if they were ,the Church cant change the written Word of God.The people of Ireland were ruled by the Catholic Church ,it would be hard to describe the respect which they had for the Clergy ,they feel utterly betrayed not only by the abuse of their children ,but the cover up ,which allowed it to continue for decades. Now there are calls for a separation of Church and State .When Christ walked the earth ,I'm sure there were many laws in the Roman empire ,he did not approve of ,yet he never spoke of politics,He was to busy saving Souls.

Outrageous. A successor to the apostles actively campaigning in favour of homosexual relations. The Church under Pope Francis has become a nightmare that doesn't go away.

And then the next satanic agenda will be married priests, then Kasper, Marx and their like can live happily ever after with their "partners."

Married priests will be like in the Eastern Orthodox Church. But it might get worse considering what agenda these venerable prelates support.

Hi Vox,

I hope this finds you and your family well. We could use your help with this woman with a child of 3 who is going to be sued by a priest for defending The Faith! Father James Martin SJ seems to be connected to this as well, commenting that the Holy Spirit is a woman. I recently challenged him publicly on Twitter about his obsession with everything homosexual. His response was that "it's an important issue in the Church", I replied that it was not and that it was important to him. Here is the Catholic lady that could use our help

Just as Germany had a duty to recognize the Nazi party and Hitler's agenda. It's no wonder this man is German.
