Is Toronto's Cardinal, Thomas Collins and his Chancerycrats planning to mandate the jab?

Before reading this blog post, take a few moments to watch this video.

The Cardinal's Human Resource Director, Stephanie Nargoz has issued a Memorandum to all clergy and staff of the Archdiocese of Toronto. While much of the memo deals with practical matters of returning to work one item is particularly concerning. Nargoz indicates that they will be closely observing workplace polices as they develop in Ontario and will communicate more on this in the coming weeks.

Before going further, it is often necessary to sound a warning before the worst happens. I am more than happy to be proved wrong about what I believe Collins is planning. Better that than the alternative. Surely, we did not believe he would close our churches or prohibit the public Mass or still, deny people Holy Communion on the tongue whose conscience will not allow them to receive in the hand. Yet he has done all of this. Priests of the Archdiocese of Toronto. Find your brothers of like mind and heart, band together. Do not take this, do not violate your conscience. We, the smelly sheep on the peripheries know what it is to be abandoned by our shepherds. You are now facing the same. We are on the right side of this. You know that or you would not be reading this.

While Ontario Premier Doug Ford has said that there would be no "vaccine passport" as he does not want a "split" society and reminded everyone of our Constitution, he has pulled a slight of hand and has quietly ensured that a passport is indeed in the offing - offloaded to others to do. Read the link below and then come back to this post.

O. Reg. 577/21: RULES FOR AREAS AT STEP 3 AND AT THE ROADMAP EXIT STEP (ontario.ca)

What Ford has done is to bypass the legislature by issuing an Order in Council through a regulatory change (my American readers will understand the reference here of a Presidential Executive Order) and offloaded the decision making to the various regional Medical Officers of Health and ordered business to comply. He had turned doctors into unelected political dictators, while this unchurched and uncouthed ignoramus can say, "it wasn't me!"

The Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation for the Archdiocese of Toronto as a "Corporation Sole" vested in Thomas Collins has done the bidding of government for 18 months. It has closed churches to prayers, limited sacraments and banned the public offering of Holy Mass other than on a digital screen. The Cardinal and his ilk have done this for government money which is about to dry up. They live in fear, they have no faith. They will not defy the diktats now. They are afraid because Karen calls them and tells them she will not come to Mass if Father hasn't had the jab. They want Karen's money.

Our sources indicate that no priest can even be near the Cardinal in his residence at the cathedral or be near him in any liturgies unless they have had the jab. Sources indicate he is about to follow the plans given by Blaise Cupich in Chicago mandating all priests to receive the jab with no possible religious exemption which in the mind of Cupich, "cannot be supported by Catholic teaching." How can Collins go against his previous statements that the jab is "common sense?" Vox Cantoris: Cardinal Collins: You say it is "common sense" and an "act of charity" to submit to experimental gene therapies but what does the Winnipeg Statement say about "conscience?"

Cupich and no doubt Collins and his minion Nargoz seem to forget this quote from the document issued by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith which I quoted one bloc post below referring to the whole of paragraph number 5:

5. At the same time, practical reason makes evident that vaccination is not, as a rule, a moral obligation and that, therefore, it must be voluntary. In any case, from the ethical point of view, the morality of vaccination depends not only on the duty to protect one's own health but also on the duty to pursue the common good. In the absence of other means to stop or even prevent the epidemic, the common good may recommend vaccination, especially to protect the weakest and most exposed. Those who, however, for reasons of conscience, refuse vaccines produced with cell lines from aborted fetuses, must do their utmost to avoid, by other prophylactic means and appropriate behaviour, becoming vehicles for the transmission of the infectious agent. In particular, they must avoid any risk to the health of those who cannot be vaccinated for medical or other reasons, and who are the most vulnerable.

"It must be voluntary!"

Of course, they will say "It is, but you won't be priest here or a single mother parish secretary trying to feed your children!"

Bergoglio and Collins can speak all they want about love and the common good and that this injection manifests these. This is their opinion. That is all. As an "employer" the expectation is that a diocese leads by example and does not follow the machinations and permeations of the ill winds that blow.

The picture below is from the front page of The Toronto Star, a declining newspaper of little further relevance. It shows the division in society and the scapegoating that Ford and Collins and their little minions such as Nargoz are about to unleash on those who believe through conscientious objection for whatever reason that this chemical is not being injected into their bodies. Here we see the real potential of the Catholic Church in Toronto destroying the vocations of its priests and livelihoods of its employees as it bows to the altar of globalism, big pharma, authoritarianism and fear. The Church in Toronto is no better than the Toronto Star and its readers who will break are windows, haul us off to concentration camps and lynch us from a tree.

Do you think I exaggerate? How do you think it all began?

Archdiocese of Toronto Chancellor Edward J. Curtis - "No exemption for you!"

Father Edward J. Curtis, the Chancellor for the Archdiocese of Toronto has issued a memorandum to clergy, parishes and staff of the Archdiocese regarding numerous requests for letters of exemption to the unconstitutional mandates by government and business on the matter of the injection against SARS-CoV-2 and its variants. An injection that doesn't really work. As my own doctor said, "You can still get Covid and you can still pass it on, you just might not die from Covid."

The memorandum refers to statements from both Cardinal Collins and Pope Francis on the matter as acts of love and charity. Further, he states that the CDF has already determined that the "vaccines" are morally licit and can be used in good conscience. He continues that priests should not issue such letters of exemption.

While he mentions the CDF's general statement, he neglects some important points. Shall we look at the whole of paragraph number 5?

The common good dictates that I do everything reasonable to prevent the transmission of any virus if I were to have one. It does not demand that I take an experimental injection that is more and more revealed as severely harmful to many and which for some, is of moral concern, notwithstanding the issue of "remote cooperation."

On the matter of a religious exemption. Father Curtis has failed in his understanding of Canadian law both in the Constitution and Human Rights legislation and common law. What he should have said is this:

"No Canadian Catholic, nor any citizen, needs any letter for a "religious exemption." One simply asserts religious and conscientious exemption with no explanation necessary!"

After all, if I can put on a tutu and fairy dust and identify as Shirley Temple and the government and you cannot deny my identity then I can surely assert my rights in this matter.

Think, people!

The links below will be helpful to anyone in Canada concerned about these rabid diktats. Note, the first from lawyer Rocco Galati, that generally, the Constitution and its Charter of Rights related to government and the people, not private business. However, courts have ruled that private business must be consistent.

Do not resign your position. Assert and resist. Then sue!

Resist the tyrannical politicians and the religious "leaders" who do their bidding.

Toronto priest, George Edward Keays arrested for sexual assault

A Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Toronto, George Edward Keays, 71 of Innisfil, Ontario, was arrested yesterday and charged with sexual assault. Toronto Police report the allegation that a 28-year-old man was sexually assaulted over a seven-month period from January to July of this year. Police were called to a sexual assault on Thursday in the area of Queen Street East and Parliament Street. Father Keays is or was the Chaplain at The Good Shepherd Mission located at 412 Queen Street East in the immediate vicinity of Queen and Parliament Streets. Confidential sources indicate he may be on medical leave.

A 2018 article on The Good Shepherd Mission in the Toronto Sun featured Father Keays.

Father Keays a "late vocation" ordained in his early 50's is entitled to his defence. Yet, serious questions must be raised. Given the proximity to the alleged sexual assault and The Good Shepherd Mission, was the alleged victim seeking help there for the last seven months and preyed upon by Keays or is it a case where the man is disturbed and has made false allegations against the priest? Or does the report in the Toronto Star indicates that "police responded to a call of sexual assault," suggest that the perpetrator was caught in the act?

Keays is scheduled to appear at the College Park courts on September 22 and Toronto Police suspect there may be more victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto Police at 416-808-5100.

It is Sunday in Toronto - Get thee to a Latin Mass - there is a Mass for you!

The late Very Reverend Jonathan Robinson, C.O. offers the Holy Mass
at the Toronto Oratory Church of the Holy Family

There has been no published announcement from the Archdiocese of Toronto in reaction to Bergoglio's cruel, vindictive and malignant action against the Holy Mass in its traditional form. The current status quo applies. "Qui tacet consentit"  - silence gives consent. There will be no changes and for this, we can thank Thomas Cardinal Collins for his pastoral care and the announcements made last Sunday at all Masses that there will be "no changes."

What we must do, as faithful in Christ, is to not despair and not abandon Our Mother, the Church at this time of Her suffering from abuse and a hostile takeover by malefactors.

In Toronto and elsewhere, go to the Traditional Latin Mass. Go today and always. If you have never been, go anyway. Don't worry about not understanding or knowing what to do. Just go.

St. Vincent de Paul at 9:30 A.M.

Holy Family at 11:00 A.M.

St. Patrick's Schomberg at 11:00 A.M.

St. Lawrence the Martyr at 1:00 P.M.

If so inclined.

The Society of St. Pius X

Church of the Transfiguration at 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M.

Cathedral of the Transfiguration in Markham at 5:00 P.M. NO PRE-REGISTRATION!

Saturday 17 July 2021

On the matter of the Motu Proprio there is one thing you can do, tomorrow. THERE IS A MASS FOR YOU - GET TO IT!

Dear Friends,

The Bishop of Rome has taken the advice of some bishops, most probably Italy's and abrogated Summorum Pontificum using that very word. A word that was used by our Pope, Benedict XVI when he stated quite rightly that the Missal of 1570/1962 was "never abrogated."

That Missal was and can never be abrogated. Let us remember, at this time, the words of Holy Gamaliel:

33 When they heard this they were enraged and wanted to kill them. 34 But a Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel a teacher of the law, held in honour by all the people, stood up and ordered the men to be put outside for a while. 35 And he said to them, “Men of Israel, take care what you do with these men. 36 For before these days Theudas arose, giving himself out to be somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined him; but he was slain and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing. 37 After him Judas the Galilean arose in the days of the census and drew away some of the people after him; he also perished, and all who followed him were scattered. 38 So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this undertaking is of men, it will fail; 39 but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!”

The men who did this are evil and they are stupid. It is not judgemental to state it, to call them out or to proclaim loudly that "if they do not repent and recant and make amends, then Hell awaits them for this one act alone!"

Go to the traditional Mass in our diocesan parishes or to the SSPX. Go and show all of our episcopal leaders that we will not be moved.

Keep your powder dry and pray.

If you are in Toronto. here is what you do.

The provincial government has now lifted specific occupancy limitations and has indicated that occupancy is dictated by "social distancing." I'm sure Susan from the Parish Council will be enforcing this vigoursly.

As Susan does not attend the traditional Latin Mass this is where you should go.

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON!

Sunday 11 July 2021

Another restricted Sunday with No Mass for Many - Worry not, it is ending this week, or is it?

The good citizens of Ontario have lined up like good comrades and have followed the diktats of Premier Ford. Cardinal Collins has convinced enough Catholics that it is "common sense" to take an experimental genetic "therapy" for a virus that the typical person has only a 4%  chance of getting and a 98% chance of not dying. Ontario is proud to have the longest and most severe lockdowns in the world.

Since so many have had the "jab" all number or percentage restrictions will be lifted by next Sunday on church attendance. For today, it is still 25% of capacity. As with anything, the "devil is in the details." The capacity limit on a religious service is not limited by numbers but by "social distancing" of 2 metres or 6 feet. which for some churches, depending on the width of aisles and so on, it won't be much more than the 30%, maybe 40%. It certainly won't be more than that.

That, my friends, is where the future lay. Social distancing or not, I predict that is about all that will be interested in coming back.

Good luck Tom Collins with your legacy. Your successor will need to wield the parish closure axe. Just as your predecessors took taxpayer funds to do the government bidding in an effort to wipe out our native Canadian culture and language, you've done the same to fund your Chancery and pay priests' salaries.

How much money are the faithful fronting to design his retirement home at the Newman Centre on the campus of the University of  Toronto?

Sunday 27 June 2021

One more 15% Sunday in Ordinary Time. Next week, 25% - will that be the top-out of those who will come back to Mass?

On this upcoming Wednesday, the draconian, fascist restrictions on life by Doug Ford, an alleged conservative, will be modified. Church attendance will grow magically from 15% to 25% as well as one's ability to shop for a pool noodle. Not a single statement from Tom Collins about the absurdity of this. He does the government's bidding now and takes millions of tax dollars for it just as his predecessors took government money for taking native children from their parents into boarding schools. At the same time, he cancels a Toronto Monsignor for daring to say that some good was found in the residential school system - lest I state again, a Government of Canada policy of indigenous assimilation.

Since November, this writer has weekly lambasted this hireling for betraying us. The monsignor he cancelled was on the "A-team."  If Cardinal Woke would throw this priest under the bus, could you imagine what he would do to those not so favoured? Is it any wonder that none dare to challenge him?

Next Sunday our churches will move to 25% capacity, the next phase is less clear as Ford has not announced capacity limits. Will it be 50%? It certainly won't be 100% - they are having too much fun at this and Thomas Collins has displayed clearly for all of us what a hireling he is - doing the government's bidding and betraying John and Mary Catholic. The writing is on the wall and it will be there for all to see. The Collins legacy will be closed parishes and a politically-controlled church in Toronto.

A sad legacy.

Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga vandalised - Holy Name of Jesus blasphemed!

Toronto's Cardinal Collins throws faithful Monsignor under the Cancel Culture Bus! UPDATED - COLLINS CANCELS MONSIGNOR!

CANCELLED!

Forced to resign?

Monsignor Owen Keenan is the Pastor of Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga, west of Toronto. I know Monsignor Keenan. We are not close friends, but he did bring me in as Cantor at his first parish, St. John the Evangelist. He was sent to Rome by Collins to study Canon Law and we kept in touch then and somewhat since. He is a good man and solid in the faith. I remember him telling me once about this blog and that I should always remember that, "prudence is the mother of all virtues."

In a homily at a Mass, allegedly attended by the Mayor of Mississauga who caused a fuss, who threw him under the Facebook Train, Monsignor said, "Two-thirds of the country is blaming the church, which we love, for the tragedies that occurred there. (the residential schools) Now I presume that the same number would thank the church for the good that was done in those schools but of course, that  question was never asked and in fact, we are not allowed to even say that good was done in those schools.”

Is Monsignor correct? Yes, and good for him for saying it. Is prudence still, "the mother of all virtues." Yes, and timing is everything and so is knowing your audience. If Monsignor failed anywhere, it was there. That’s it.

On the same day that Father Marco Testa writes in Catholic Insight on the matter of cancelling priests, Thomas Cardinal Collins summoned Monsignor to a Zoom meeting to hang him from the yardarm, lest he be forced to cancel him or send him off to Southdown for re-education adding to a long and growing list of cancelled Toronto priests, for all the wrong reasons.

Below is the statement wherein Monsignor must grovel to the Cardinal and the vultures in the media and the protestors outside the parish last evening. Collins is no better than those of a century ago. Now, as then, Church leaders in Canada took government largess to undermine the lives and rights of the faithful. Then, we went along with government policy and tore children away from their families. today, we tear the sacraments away from the people.

If Monsignor Owen Keenan can be so betrayed and unsupported and thrown under the culture wars Marxist bus by Collins, can you imagine what it is like for others who do not kowtow to this, not so latent, tyrant?

Careful Fathers, Collins will "shut you down."

Yes, he will.

Quite the legacy.

Statements on Last Weekend's Homily at Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga

Posted : Jun-24-2021

A number of people have reached out to the archdiocese to express their concern over a homily delivered at Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga, Ont., on the weekend of June 19/20.

We apologize to anyone who was offended by the remarks of Msgr. Owen Keenan, of Merciful Redeemer Parish.

Below is a statement from Msgr. Keenan, followed by a statement the Archdiocese of Toronto.

I would like to communicate to the faithful and all those who have expressed concerns about my homily the weekend of 19/20 June 2021. I want to acknowledge the pain and anger which has been magnified as the result of a portion of my remarks being circulated in social media and elsewhere. I apologize sincerely for any hurt I have caused and pledge to do better, especially at a time when there is a national conversation underway regarding residential schools.

I am deeply sorry, embarrassed, ashamed and shocked at the revelations of abuse, destruction and harm done in Residential Schools across this country. As a Catholic and a Priest, I in no way condone the Residential School System, I regret deeply that these places existed, and I lament the harm that was caused. If and when I get a chance to meet survivors, I will seek their forgiveness. It pains me enormously to see the flags of my country, which I love, to be flying at half-staff in mourning because of something done by members of my Church, which I also love.

I am, in my own limited way, committed to advancing the cause of Truth and Reconciliation with our Indigenous Brothers and Sisters and to listen and learn more about the pain and suffering experienced by so many.

I am sorry for any hurt I have caused. I ask for your pardon, understanding and prayers.

Respectfully yours,

Msgr Owen Keenan

Statement from the Archdiocese of Toronto (June 23, 2021) regarding recent remarks from Msgr. Owen Keenan

We are aware of remarks made in a homily by Msgr. Owen Keenan on the weekend of June 19/20, 2021, that have upset and angered many in the community. Earlier this month, Msgr. Keenan joined churches throughout the archdiocese in offering apologies, prayers and a desire to journey together on a path to reconciliation in the midst of the national conversation on residential schools. He reiterated the need for an apology in his remarks this past weekend.

The archdiocese has been in contact with Msgr. Keenan to convey the deep pain and anger felt by those hurt by his words. Msgr. Keenan has pledged to fully educate himself, with the appropriate support, to gain a more wholesome understanding of the full history of residential schools and their impact in our country. We apologize to anyone who was offended by his remarks.

As previously stated by Cardinal Collins, “We all seek the truth and the recent discovery in Kamloops provides yet another opportunity for us to learn more about this dark chapter in our history and the painful journey experienced by so many of our Indigenous brothers and sisters.”

Sunday 20 June 2021

In Toronto it's 15% Sunday in Ordinary Time - Recalling a time when Collins fullfiled his word, "I will shut you down!

All quiet on the Cardinal Collins front. He seems quite satisfied with himself having convinced Ontario Premier Doug Ford to classify religious services at the same level of importance as shopping for a pool noodle. Yes, friends, Collins has betrayed and abandoned us. The Church in Canada, as with the Residential Schools, has sided with evil Canadian governments for money rather than the little people.

During the draconian shutdowns, many priests cowered in their rectories, no doubt worried about their own "compromised immune systems." Not all did, though. Many did reach out to their flocks by phone, by email, by caring and did administer the sacraments and did so because it was what they were called to do by Our Lord in spite of the bully and tyrant who told them all in a webinar, "I will shut you down." God reward them all.

In 2010, Collins did shut down a parish - a growing community. It was the Toronto Apostolate of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. They arrived in 2007 and took over an indult community and quickly started to grow it. They turned the Sunday, quiet Low Mass to a full sung Missa Cantata. They were treated badly. This writer was the Schola Master and Choir Director. Having been promised their own parish it was finally granted and three days later, cancelled. The enemies had heard of it and had enough - they ganged up on Collins and demanded he reverse his decision which he has often done after revolt and the Director of Communications spun the scandal that it was the FSSP priest's fault. "He released the information," said Neil MacCarthy to this writer. "Really Neil? Then how did it get into the Archdiocesan Update and on the web page? Is Father V your Webmaster?" The parish was to be Canadian Martyrs whose community would have been merged with St. Brigid Parish. Two months later, Collins banned Holy Communion on the tongue due to the last China Virus, H1N1. In the bulletin, Father V wrote, "At this Mass in accord with the laws of the Universal Church, Holy Communion is only received on the tongue." He defied the Cardinal and a few months later, Collins made sure that Father V and the Superior General of the FSSP knew it.

He shut them down.

The result of this is that today, as for the last year, the famous Toronto Oratory will provide holy communion on the hand only at the traditional Latin Masses.

Yet, after his edict, this writer attended the funeral Mass of Msgr. T. Barrett Armstrong of St. Michael's Choir School. On the left in line, I went to the Deacon for Holy C0mmunion and abiding Collins' edict, received in the hand. On my right was the Cardinal who gave Holy Communion to people on the tongue. Do as I say and not as I do is not good leadership.

In Markham, northwest of Toronto, this privately-owned Cathedral of the Transfiguration which can hold 1000 will be filled to the dictated limit and 300 or so at two Masses will attend the Holy Mass. More than the Cardinal will have in his own Cathedral.

The post-CCP Virus Church in Toronto is going into dark days and well deserved

Quite the legacy.

Sunday Mass returns to St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto

This is the 15% combined with "social distancing." Why not every second instead of every third pew? If everyone is wearing a mask, how can the CCP virus get out of one's mouth and nose? Don't they work? Are there entry ports to lungs on the back of one's head?

Your Eminence, please explain how this is "common sense?"

The fact is, this is the future of the Church in Toronto thanks to the Ford/Collins tag-team.

Sunday 6 June 2021

There is much on which to reflect this Solemnity of Corpus Christi - No Holy Mass, no Procession, no Holy Sacrament. Who did this to us?

It is the Solemnity of Corpus Christi in the modern rite today and the traditional if transferred. In the great and glorious Archdiocese of Toronto, there is, however, as usual, there is

On this day, some in Toronto will attend their parish to receive Holy Communion under a contrived service. One would think if you could have ten persons (under Ford's edict) you could have Mass for ten with the priest and then another ten and so on. Taxing on the priest? Yes, but many do three Masses on Sunday now, at least do that. Or, no Holy Communion at Mass, the Cardinal has already acknowledged that it can be separated from the liturgy. Holy Communion by appointment, individual or family on the tongue, if desired, in private, no China Virus risk. But no, that would anger those whom Collins referred to as "virtuous public health officials."

Tomorrow, Ontario Premier Doug Ford will announce changes to the current fascist restrictions in Ontario. As reported here on this blog through our own confidential sources a day before the Cardinal's meeting with Ford on Thursday past, Mass will be restored to 15% on June 14 and 30% on July 5. Never forget that as bad as this has been on the part of Ford, Cardinal Collins has made it worse, he has abandoned the faithful and sold out the Church to the government. The same governments that the Church sold out to more than a century ago on the matter of Residential Schools. Hypocrites and vipers, all of them.

On this day it is important to remember that Thomas Cardinal Collins and most, but not all, bishops in Ontario have forbidden Holy Communion on the tongue. Many Catholics have not had Holy Communion for over a year because they will not violate their conscience.

It is important to remember this. In a webinar not too many months ago, this is what Cardinal Collins said he would do to any parish where Holy Communion on the tongue was being distributed:

Wednesday 2 June 2021

Ford to announce Church re-opening - 15% on June 14 and 30% on July 5

BREAKING - Confidential sources indicate that at tomorrow's meeting with Thomas Cardinal Collins, Ontario Premier Doug Ford will announce that churches will be "allowed" to reopen for services on June 14 at 15% capacity and on July 5 at 30% capacity up from the current ten persons. Earlier today, Ford announced that schools will not reopen until September.

Cardinal Collins announced that he and other faith leaders would be meeting on Thursday, June 3 with Ford.

While we must always resist the draconian and unconstitutional actions of the Ontario and other provincial governments in Canada, and indeed in other places, we must always bemoan that the greatest enemy was our own weak and cowardly episcopal leaders who chose not to fight but to acquiesce for millions in public money.

Tuesday 1 June 2021

Cardinal Collins to meet with Premier Ford

Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of  Toronto has announced at 4:19 today that on Thursday afternoon, he, along with other faith leaders. will be meeting with Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Health Minister Christine Elliot and Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. David Williams. The topic is to discuss concerns relating to places of worship.

Cardinal Collins, here is the message for Doug Ford.

While the restrictions of the government are draconian and unacceptable, the treatment can be no different than retail as a bare minimum.

If he refuses, throw down the gauntlet that we will be opening our churches.

So very little leadership, so very late.

Monday 31 May 2021

Cardinal Collins - the weekend has come and gone and Ford has done nothing. What will you do?

Well, Your Eminence, it is Monday morning. You wrote last week that you would take action if Doug Ford did nothing by the end of the weekend.

It's in your court.

Premier Doug Ford to make an announcement shortly - will he heed the call of Cardinal Collins?

Update: No indication from the presser that Ontario will open phase 1, even though over 63% of Ontarians have received at least one does of the experimental genetic manipulation. #FordLied

Well, Your Eminence? What will you now do?

Ontario Premier Douglas Ford is to make a public statement beginnings at 10:30.

We will see if the interventions of Cardinal Collins will have fallen on deaf ears.

Again, if His Eminence finally takes up the fight, this blog will be with him.

How sad that we have had to wait for so long.

On May 26, Thomas Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, issued a letter to all clergy and staff of the Archdiocese wherein he discussed the latest diktat from Ontario Premier Doug Ford's so-called, "Roadmap to Reopen." Ontario is and has been for months, under the most severe restrictions to our freedoms and economy in all of North America. Ford, an alleged Conservative, has shown himself to be an autocratic dictator with no respect for individual or religious rights.

Currently, the restrictions on indoor religious services remain at ten persons. Collins and most, but not all, bishops in Ontario have seen fit to reduce that to zero and some have gone so far to even ban baptisms! The current restrictions in Ontario will move to a different phase twenty-one days after specific levels of experimental viral spike protein injections are completed. What was the first three-week to flatten the curve and reduce the strain on our hospitals in April 2020 has become fourteen months of draconian actions by Ford, tolerated by our religious leaders. As I wrote previously,  a worst-case scenario is Sunday Mass on August 1 due to the still draconian action to prevent indoor worship until the second phase of the Ford plan. Ford insists on opening retail to 15% but not a church, this is a clear case of a violation of constitutional law and must be challenged in the public square and the courts.

Collins reports that he has had a meeting with the "Premier's office." As someone who was a Special Assistant in the former actual Conservative government of Premier Mike Harris, this means he met with the likes of this writer, back then, not the Premier himself. How tragic that the Premier of Ontario does not hold this Prince of the Catholic Church, the Cardinal Archbishop of Toronto in enough respect to sit down with him directly. His Eminence reports that he made clear his "dissatisfaction" regarding the limit of ten persons. No doubt, if the Premier's minions were reasonably well-read, they would have immediately responded, the Eminence, "doth protest too much, methinks."

It appears that the Cardinal threatened the Premier with a similar online letter-writing campaign as was done in March official in the chancery office. That action resulted in over 15,000 emails to Members of Provincial Parliament and copies to the Premier no doubt resulting in an easing from ten persons to fifteen percent. We congratulated the Cardinal for this initiative while at the same time bemoaning that it took him so long.

Collins indicates that if no action on the part of Ford is announced by the end of this week, the previous campaign will be renewed with the assistance, according to the Cardinal, of other faith communities throughout Ontario.

While the emergency orders have permitted outdoor worship and we can see how one parish in St. Catharines has successfully implemented this, Collins has, thus far, forbidden it. The Cardinal has indicated that if there is no action by the Premier by June 1, he will issue guidance and recommendation on outdoor liturgies.

Cardinal Collins deserves rebuke and criticism for his cowardice and lack of action of this and other failures over the last year. For a moment, let us set this aside.

You, dear reader, must write to the Cardinal and the Premier demanding that our churches immediately reopen.

This writer will do everything possible on this blog and social media to promote Cardinal's initiative to take on Ford on this issue and urge an immediate court challenge, a year later, to be sure.

I only regret that it has been so little on the part of our spineless episcopal leaders and so late.

For the second Trinity Sunday in a row, thanks to Thomas Collins, there is

For well over a year now, our liturgical cycle of true worship to God has been turned on its head. The cowardice of our episcopal shepherds is without compare except in Tudor England but they had one who stood up to the corrupt and evil king. This man opines frequently on the likes of St. John Fisher but follows him not.

Doug Ford has lied to us. He said that if there were 60% of Ontarians who had at least one dose of the experimental genetic manipulation injection, we would enter Phase 1. Collins has said that he has met with Ford's minions and if there was no announcement by now on the opening of churches he would order a campaign of protest by the faithful.

Well, where is it, Your Eminence? Tomorrow then?

But Cardinal Collins says it is "common sense" and for the "greater good" and an "act of charity."

If you took experimental genetic manipulation because Thomas Collins or your parish priest convinced you to by saying it is "common sense" or an "act of charity" or "for the greater good," take care and observe what is happening in your body.

Sunday 23 May 2021

For the Second Pentecost Sunday in row, Cardinal Thomas Collins has decreed that there will be

How does it feel to know that you have missed Lent, Eastertide, Ascension and Pentecost in 2020 and here we are in 2021 and you missed all of that again and all the green Sundays, except for a paltry few weeks if you could get a ticket at 15% plus. You missed Advent, Christmas and Epiphanytide and Lent before that. What a fool, what a coward. what a government toady is Thomas Collins. He has submitted the Holy Catholic Church of Christ to the State and there will be no extracting from this precedent unless he acts and acts now.

Collins must immediately defy Ford and announce that Church is essential and that retail stores cannot open at a greater level than Churches. Aside from that, remember that Ford has capped attendance at 10 persons, Collins has shut down the Mass to the faithful. This Bishop who once said, "I am the Pope in Toronto" has shut down the public worship of God which is our need and His due!

Barona, our friend and colleague at Toronto Catholic Witness frankly states utter betrayal and the delivery of the Church into the hands of the State. I urge you to watch the forty-second video snippet.

neilm@archtoronto.org (The liaison and the one "handling it" snidely know by priests as Excellency Neil, the commissar who runs the show)

archbishop@archtoronto.org - the chanerycrat email that never gets read or automatically gets deleted. Collins doesn't read this which is why you don't get an asnwer.

icamilleri@archtoronto.org    - the new kid on the block

office@bishopboissonneau.com - always a bridesmaid, never a bride

northern.region@archtoronto.org - the Brideshead revisted

eastern.region@archtoronto.org - smoking is bad for your health, Bishop, and the person in the confessional.

central.region@archtoronto.org - "do you like my new hat?"

tcpc@archtoronto.org - The real email address directly to Collins should you wish to wish him a Blessed Pentecost because remind him that he has a Mass but there is No Mass for You! Share it widely. Use it. He will see this email as opposed to the one ignored by the chancerycrats.
They have stolen from you and me, from your family and mine. These men are cowards who have sold out to the State for their thirty pieces of silver. Tens of millions of dollars in relief funds from the government. The good news? It will dry up and so will have the collection plate. So many Catholics have found something "better" to do on a Sunday, will think that post-scamdemic, they can watch Mass on TV or their computer screen moving forward, or have been so fed up just not come back.

The balance sheet is bleeding redder than Collins robes.

Friday 21 May 2021

NO MASS FOR YOU UNTIL AUGUST - DOUG FORD AND HIS TOADY THOMAS COLLINS WILL ANSWER TO GOD AND HISTORY

Ontario Premier Douglas Ford has announced a plan to end the draconian lockdown, arguably the most severe in all of North America. Ford, allegedly a conservative, is more of an authoritarian fascist having removed Members from the caucus for opposing the measures. While there are many components to the reopening we will deal with two issues here, the division of society, intimidation, coercion and shaming of those who refuse to take the experimental genetic therapies (EGT) and the ridiculous limit of ten persons in church - a matter which has been long addressed here since Cardinal Thomas Collins and most, but not all of Ontario's bishops, have interpreted this as zero and have cancelled the public celebration of the Holy Liturgy, particularly, the Mass.

There will be a shaming of those who for health or moral reasons refuse the EGT. Doug Ford has set this up in the reopening plan. It is deceitful, unconstitutional and coercive and violates the Nuremberg Code 1947.

"The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject there should be made known to him the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment."

Collins is Ford's useful idiot who does his bidding and preaches from his Cathedra and Ambo where the Word of God is to be proclaimed but rather lectures us that it is "common sense" and for the "public good." They will blame those who refuse the EGT. Will a yellow star be next?

Currently, 58% of Ontario residents have had at least one dose of the EGT. Ford has decreed under emergency powers that there will be no change to the current Orders until that figure reaches 60%. Because the EGT provides no protection for up to three weeks after it is administered the tiered relaxation of the fascist orders will take place 21 days later. The next tier is 70% first and 25% for the second dose and decline in intensive care and another 21 days. Here is the issue. Church, Synagogue and others cannot reopen beyond ten persons until that 70/25 figure is reached and then, 21 days later. Assuming this all happens, there will be No Mass For You until at least after the 26th of July and no Sunday until August 1.

It is important to note that currently one can go and purchase liquor and marijuana but no other non-essential items and cannot attend religious services. Further, the first phase of 60%/21 Days reopens all non-essential retail at 15% occupancy but still, the church is limited to ten persons. At the second level, 70/25, the attendance will be limited to 15% in church and 50% in retail.

Thomas Cardinal Collins now has a choice to make. Will he acquiesce as the coward and bought off government toady he has proven to be over the last year and disgrace his episcopacy in its final months with a legacy of compromise, corruption and failure or will he answer the call to the red he wears and stand up for the faith and the little sheep. Based upon history, he will do the former, but I'd like to admit I am wrong.

The time has come.

Thomas Cardinal Collins - I call upon you to immediately defy the Premier and announce the churches will open immediately to a reasonable occupancy and take the government to court on the grounds of discrimination and a violation of constitutional rights. It was easy for the fascist thugs to pick off a few scattered, unaffiliated Christian pastors, it will be something quite different to take on the Catholic Church!

Sadly, the Cardinal will prove to all of us the failure he has been, the coward and the hireling of whom Our Lord warned us.

"He who is a hireling and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. He flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for the sheep." John 10:12-12 NRSV-CE

Your Eminence, prove me wrong.
