The father who abandoned his spouse and children to an evil and abusive stepfather have committed the ultimate child abuse today, not surprising since they spent years covering up abuse.

They took a vaccine for the Wuhan Virus that was developed using the stem lines of an aborted baby for testing. In the post one below, Thomas Cardinal Collins, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto stated:

I can't imagine Benedict XVI voluntarily submitting to be vaccinated. Pray for Pope Benedict XVI.
This is why, following Scripture, it is so imperative on all Catholics (of any stripe) to work out their salvation with "fear and trembling."
We will be held to account for what we have done, good or ill.
Let us hope the named parties have kept that Scriptural reference in the back of their minds. It is terrible to think of the alternative.
Perhaps Pope Benedict knows more than we do!
There are no such things as Catholics (of any stripe.) There are only Catholics. We are united in ONE Faith which is immutable, indefectible and infallible.
Duly noted, Dr. Lamb. My parenthesis was a reference to the fact that Catholics have a wide range of opinions which can be classed as libertarian, conservative, etc. which can translate into a generalization of their outlook on life. I know that is not how it is supposed to be, but reality is messy.
But that was not the point of my comment. All of us, regardless of our station in life, are to work out their salvation with "fear and trembling." As I trust you are. The alternative is far worse.

A poignant and valid point
I read an article by AnnaMaria (Jan.19,2021) and learned that “The most prominent cell line, called HEK 293, comes from an abortion performed in the 1970’s. It’s labeled 293 because that’s how many experimental attempts the researchers needed to get a working cell line. Therefore, though the abortion-to-experiment ratio is not precisely one-to-one, hundreds of abortions went into the project, even if they didn’t result in the working line. HEK stands for human embryonic kidney. To harvest a viable embryonic kidney for this purpose, sufficiently healthy children old enough to have adequately-developed kidneys must be removed from the womb, alive, typically by cesarean section, and have their kidneys cut out. This must take place without anesthesia for the child, which would lessen the viability of the organs.
