Bergoglio legalises women to be Instituted Lectors and Acolytes

Giving yet one more reason to abandon the Novus Ordo Missae, its errors and the culture which has formed it and which it continues to form for tradition, Bishop of Rome, Francis, has today formerly permitted women to be Instituted Lectors and Acolytes.

For those unaware, a little history. Prior to 1973 there were two orders on the path to ordination in religious orders and seminaries. These were the minor orders of Porter, Lector, Exorcist and Acolyte known as the Minor Orders and Subdeacon, Deacon and Priest, known as the Major Orders. At one time, these minor orders were not just reserved to those on the path to the priesthood but were open to laymen as servants of the Mass, particularly Lector, to sing the Old Testament Lessons, never the Epistle (Subdeacon) and to serve as Acoyte - to bear the candles, the cross was carried by the Subdeacon. In 1973, Paul VI eliminated these to be replaced by Lector and Acolyte for seminarians but also again for laymen. Other than the Diocese of Lincoln and at one time in LaCrosse and in the odd and rare situation for a layman to support the liturgy in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, no bishop that I know of ever made wide use of the provision for an Instituted Lector or Acolyte. No doubt because it could no include women and an Instituted man would displace Susan from the Parish Council reading at Mass. Don't even get me started on Serviettes - Girl Altar Boys.

Today, Jorge Bergoglio has changed all that. If he were ever truly interested in instituting the laity in this manner why did he not do it in Buenos Aires.

This is about sowing seeds and tearing down.

A few days ago, a priest said to me, "They are trying to build a new church."

Indeed they are.

One more thing.

With the tragic situation in Italy and the world brought about by germ warfare unleashed upon the world by communist China, with all the unemployment, the loss of business, the loss of life, the depression, suicide, alcoholism and more, this is what Bergoglio focuses on.

Nothing this writer writes will change his mind. Nothing will move him. It does not matter. We must always speak truth to power. We must never submit to these evil men. The man is not your friend, nor mine. He is no friend of Christ.

Who cares. Many Catholics left NovusOrdo church long time ago.

Revelation 22:11-12

11 He that hurteth, let him hurt still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is just, let him be justified still: and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.

I am a woman, but not feminist (God forbid!!!) So, I tell you right now, Bergoglio plays our LORD Jesus Christ and also plays women as his own political investment for his future role as a head of the new false church. All this is simply disgusting and straight from real HELL! Who does he think, he is?!

I went through clericalism in my life and that's why I always welcomed healthy discussion of women role and women treatment in the Catholic Church, which I found sometimes not according to the way, how Jesus treated women... BUT THIS!!!!

He thinks he can just go to microphone and throw his own political meat to the plebs and whoooaaaa...

WHY THE CARDIANLS ARE SO SILENT???... What does it mean?

Is the same power which kicked pope Benedict XVI and Trump also silenced our bishops???

When I was a seminarian, 45 years ago, some of my classmates had no problem with a woman priest (sic). Those guys got ordained and some are now bishops. Clearly, an unhinged secularized egalitarian understanding of equality had taken root within the Church. What Bergoglio is doing is simply the inexorable unfolding of a Great Reset called the Second Vatican Council. I always considered Ordinatio Sacerdotalis (1994) as Tenenda, that which must be definitively held by Catholics. Of course such teaching has, in the Modernist playbook, of Bergoglio, a shelf life. "Ordained" women is the ultimate goal here. Make no doubt about it.
Now as for "making a new church" your priest friend is a little late. A new Church has already been made. There is a deadly triad that fuels the "Catholicism" of Bergoglio and what is understood as the modern Catholic Church: A Modernist lex credendi, a Modernist lex orandi and a Modernist lex vivendi. Now, I ask you, how can such a bogus Catholicism possibly be in continuity with the pre-conciliar Church. Well it isn't, despite the rot, in the Church, before the council. As Bergoglio said shortly after his election: "There is no going back". Yes Jorge, I here what you are really saying: There is no going back to that Catholicism. Sadly many bishops have no problem with this latest development. They will welcome it. Recently I have been delighted at the increased attendance (before the latest lockdown) at our TLM. Many new faces, refugees from the Novus Ordo theme park, seeking out a spot in the growing Traditionalist diaspora. Keep it up!

Indeed, they are not "trying", they are running already, and just some kind of "new" church, but the False Church, the anti-church of you wish.
Remember the prophecy of St. Francis of Asissi and that one of ven. Fulton Sheen.

They are running a parallel Church which is going and taking many people in opposite direction.

They took our buildings, but they'll never take from us our true Catholic Faith!!

So please, keep fighting a good fight and exposing all evil worls!
God will reward you for that.

May our Lord and our heavenly Mother of God lead and protect us all the remnants!

"Please Jesus, come to our rescue and remove this apostate from your house. Help us, we do not know what to do." Pope montini, ephod-wearing judeo-masonic sodomite. "We have known all of this a long time, yet it was too hard to swallow. We were in denial." "... we the faithful laity are watching the Church burn to the ground and souls lost in the meantime ... he is TERRIFIED of seeing himself responsible for being the catalyst to cause a formal schism." "The church does have plenty of shortcomings. Most especially all the homosexual priests, bishops and popes!" "... we always underestimate the lengths people go through to maintain their cognitive dissonance."

The Bark of Christ has neither shortcomings, nor is it burning to the ground, sinking, nor in any way is it blemished. She sails on serenely - infallible, indefectible and indestructable as always and for always, heading for her final anchorage in the Heavenly Jerusalem.

Many have deserted her and cling to the doomed hulk of satan. They cling to cognitive dissonance and lies - don't desert Peter's Bark in her passage through a tempest! The Bark of Peter has sailed through many tempests and always emerged whole and intact, but never has She taken heresy, apostasy, or any evil sailors aboard. Her Captain is infinitely perfect, therefore She is infinitely perfect also. She can never be blemished, or She would no longer be infinitely perfect. The Bark of Christ cannot be the hulk of satan for Christ has nought with belial.

Those aboard the hulk are confused, worried, disturbed, frightened. Those aboard the Bark are confident, safe, secure and filled with hope. They sail just as their Fathers did, unperturbed, unaffected by the tempest around them; their Faith never tossed about like waves. They have left the rotting hulk far behind them as it sinks into the depths of hell.

There is no blemished Bark. There are two vessels - the Bark and the rotting hulk. Two vessels separate and distinct. Our first mate on the Bark shouts loud and clear - "If any sets a course other than I have given you, LET THEM BE ANATHEMA! Please God, let those who have ears to hear, hear.

I'm from the infamous Detroit Archdiocese under Cardinal Dearden. Female lector and acolytes started there nearly immediately after Vatican II. Now this is the practice in most U.S. dioceses.

ALLATAE SUNT
ENCYCLICAL OF POPE BENEDICT XIV ON THE OBSERVANCE OF ORIENTAL RITES
JULY 26, 1755

29. Women Assisting at Mass
Pope Gelasius {d. 496} in his ninth letter (chap. 26) to the bishops of Lucania condemned the evil practice which had been introduced of women serving the priest at the celebration of Mass. Since this abuse had spread to the Greeks, Innocent IV {d. 1216} strictly forbade it in his letter to the bishop of Tusculum: “Women should not dare to serve at the altar; they should be altogether refused this ministry.” We too have forbidden this practice in the same words in Our oft-repeated constitution Etsi Pastoralis, sect. 6, no. 21.1

Of course he would do this.

Another example of the Pope fiddling (especially its connotative meaning of "usually fooling around with trivial matters) while the Church burns.

I often think about what is going on in the Church, my being goes into agony. I will reinforce my spirit in the Gospel of Matthew 8: 23-27. He, the three times Santus, is not sleeping and my faith awakens.
Jesus Calms the Storm
23 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”
26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

The Church is Holy and Spotless. It is the Bride of Christ. It cannot teach error or heresy. It is Holy. If the Church issues a document it is Holy and true and can aid in our salvation. The Holy Ghost protects the Church. He protects the Pope. While the clerics may be sinners and weak, the Holy Ghost protects the teachings of the Church. To claim that this Holy Church can give us wrong doctrines through the Pope is a blasphemy and itself is heretical.

The Teaching of the True Church:
The Church is Infallible in Her universal Disciplinary Laws. "The Church is infallible in her general discipline. By the term general discipline is understood the laws and practices which belong to the external ordering of the whole Church. Such things would be those which concern either external worship, such as liturgy and rubrics, or the administration of the sacraments…. If she [the Church] were able to prescribe or command or tolerate in her discipline something against faith and morals, or something which tended to the detriment of the Church or to the harm of the faithful, she would turn away from her divine mission, which would be impossible." (See theologian Herrmann, Institutiones Theologiae Dogmaticae, ,1908, 1: 258). These liturgical aberrations involving women are universal insofar as they involve a universal law, because a liturgical law that involves the whole Latin rite qualifies as such. However, the Church cannot infallibly allow that which was already solemnly CONDEMNED AS ERROR.
The Church cannot give incentives to impiety. The Council of Trent infallibly declared: "If anyone says that the ceremonies, vestments, and outward signs, which the Catholic Church uses in the celebration of Masses, are incentives to impiety rather than the services of piety: let him be anathema " (D. 954). It is impious to have the laity, especially women, doing those functions reserved to the priest as an alter Christus ("another Christ"). Further, Pope Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos, para. # 9 (1832) stated: “Furthermore, the discipline sanctioned by the Church must never be rejected or branded as contrary to certain principles of the natural law. It must never be called crippled, or imperfect or subject to civil authority. In this discipline the administration of sacred rites, standards of morality, and the reckoning of the Church and her ministers are embraced."
Use of women in Church ceremonies is strictly condemned.
Council of Laodica (4th century): Canon 44: Women may not go to the altar. (This canon is found in all collections of canons in the Church both East and West.)
Pope Gelasius 494 A.D. "We have heard with sorrow of the great contempt with which the sacred mysteries have been treated. It has reached the point where women have been encouraged to serve at the altar, and to carry out roles that are not suited to their sex, having been assigned exclusively to those of masculine gender."
Encyclical of Pope Benedict XIV promulgated on July 26, 1755 Allatae Sunt: "Pope Gelasius in his ninth letter (chap. 26) to the bishops of Lucania condemned the evil practice which had been introduced of women serving the priest at the celebration of Mass. Since this abuse had spread to the Greeks, Innocent IV strictly forbade it in his letter to the bishop of Tusculum: 'Women should not dare to serve at the altar; they should be altogether refused this ministry.' We too have forbidden this practice in the same words in Our oft-repeated constitution Etsi Pastoralis, sect. 6, no. 21."
1917 Code of Canon Law. Canon 813, section 2: "The minister serving at mass should not be a woman unless, in absence of a man, for just cause, it is so arranged that the woman respond from afar and by no means approach the altar."
The Holy Bible: "Let women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted them to speak, but to be subject, as also the law saith." (1 Cor. 14: 34). "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to use authority over the man: but to be in silence." (1 Timothy 2: 12).

Peter Lamb said...

1917 Catholic Encyclopedia "Women ministering at the altar, even in a subordinate capacity, is likewise forbidden. A decree says: 'It is prohibited to any woman to presume to approach the altar or minister to the priest' (cap. Inhibendum, 1 de cohab.); for if a woman should keep silence in church, much more should she abstain from the ministry of the altar, conclude the canonists."
Summary and Conclusion
The Church is infallible in her universal disciplinary laws. Such laws exclude women at the altar.
The Church has condemned women in sacred ceremonies at Church as "evil." They also are not to have authority over men.
The Vatican II sect has officially approved "altar girls," female "lectors," "Eucharistic (sic) ministers," and women in positions of ecclesiastical authority over men. They have given formerly sacred functions to laymen and laywomen in keeping with the heretical belief of "the priesthood of all believers." These men and women are de facto "priests."
The Vatican II sect cannot, therefore, be the True Roman Catholic Church.
In eliminating the distinction in the supernatural order between women and men, not only does the Vatican II sect trample on the Divine Law, they give an erroneous idea of what the role of men and women was designed to be by God. With a false idea of "being equal," men can "marry" men, women can "marry" women, and women can be "priests" in all but name (and that may change soon, too). One can almost hear the Masonic chant as we move closer to a One World Church: Equality, liberty, fraternity.

Tom A. Since Vatican II Popes have distorted the teachings of the Catholic Church in devilish ways. The evidence is the lack of or mis-understanding of Catholic teaching by most Catholics. This is the work of the devil in the Church. Our Bergoglian "papacy" is the most outrageous example. The Catholic is the mystical body of Christ not the folks who purport to run it.
