This blogger and others have been saying it for days, weeks, months, some of us even nearly three years. We have given examples of what those closest to the Bishop of Rome, Jorge Bergoglio, have said. We have even finding obscure videos of their talks which disclose much. Whether Thomas Rosica, CSB and his unattributed use of a "professional theologian" comments that "that doctrine changes pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge" to "Uncle Teddy" Cardinal Mccarrick's "powerful and influential Roman" who tells him, that Bergoglio "could put us back on track" and instructs him to "talk him up" we have been consistent in our warnings.
Jorge Bergoglio is trying to change the Church and do it by changing doctrine through changing practice.
Jorge Bergoglio is trying to change the Church and do it by changing doctrine through changing practice.
Father de Souza says it quite boldly, "He (Francis) strongly suggested that he did not agree with the tradition taught by St. John Paul II in Familiaris Consortio or Benedict XVI in Sacramentum Caritatis.
Considering that those two paramount documents are consistent with the teaching of the the Ordinary Magisterium, which is infallible when it concerns faith and morals reiterating the constant, unchanging, consistent, traditional, historical and universal teaching of the popes and bishops through two-thousand years to do otherwise is simply, heretical.
Are we beginning to see the storm that will come upon this Bishop of Rome should he contradict his two predecessors and two-thousand years of Truth? Are we on the verge of a Christological heresy?
Is Jorge Bergoglio prepared to create the greatest crisis in the Church since the Arian heresy of the fourth century?
Does he really want history to be an unkind judge?
Francis has steadily prepared the Church for change. It’s foolish to ignore the signs
The synod on the family is over. The Church now awaits what Pope Francis will decide. Those who argued at the synod for maintaining the traditional discipline on admission to the sacraments for the civilly divorced and remarried must be ready for the Holy Father to decide differently. He has steadily prepared the Church for just that. It would be foolish to ignore the signs. After much back and forth, the synod decided to follow almost exactly what Pope Francis said in his general audience of August 5, during which he strongly suggested that he did not agree with the tradition taught by St John Paul in Familiaris Consortio (1981) and confirmed by Benedict XVI in Sacramentum Caritatis (2007).He did not explicitly contradict it, and neither did the synod. But he quoted the relevant texts without affirming their definitive conclusion and the synod did the same.Does silence on John Paul’s formulation token assent? Or does it mean that the traditional teaching is being left aside? The rest can be read at:http://www.catholicherald.co.uk/issues/november-13th-2015-2/what-will-the-pope-say-his-friends-tell-us/

This article by Fr. de Souza is a clarion call to all those who are still deluded into believing that we are not facing an unprecedented crisis: a Pope falling into heresy.
I think that this pope has so deceived himself with his black shoe- and I have cooked in the slams- humility, he will be unstoppable in the unleashing of destruction. The Holy Ghost has left him long ago and created a void. The void has been filled with the arrogance of the light-bearing Lucifer. Now he says that humanism equals Christianity. All the misguided minions of Satan worship him, and the more they worship him, the more hostile he becomes toward the intellectually sound, who oppose him. He calls them elitists and Pharisees.
I worked with the homeless once. When I did, I wore very plain shoes. I cleaned for them and served them meals. It was easy. I breathed in their drunken stench, trained myself not to vomit, smiled and took abuse. If I were prone to self-deception, I might have kissed their feet, if they let me, and moved on to chastising all who occupied nice homes.
Many of these people were walking anger, addiction and entitlement. Many had no gratitude to God or human.
I am a realist, I never romanticized them, never put them on the pedestal. Their apparent misfortune and vulnerability have not prompted me to abandon all reason and truth. I was not so impressed with my "humility" as to forget the most important thing - without God man is hopeless. When we think of a better world, we do not look to humanity for inspiration, but to Jesus Christ, who is always relevant, who does not need re-interpretation.
I go back again and I say that it's all about money.
I need a favor from the faithful Catholic groups, journalists or individuals:
Those of you who have access, resources, and sources in high places, please investigate and come up with a detailed and documented list -as many as you can- of these Vatican individuals-in-cleric-clothing's personal wealth.
We want to know the cardinals, the bishops, the priests and deacons' wealth, those who work in the Vatican and around the world.
We already know about some.
We need to know more about others.
My friends, let's forget a little bit about religion.
When dealing with Satan's apostles, it's all about Money. They are not into religion and when fighting them, if we have the will, we shouldn't rely on religion. If we do, it will be like fighting with roses against army equipped with swords.
Let's scandal them. Let's expose them. Let's show the world how fake they are.
Enough being nice. We have to be tough. What are we going to lose anyway? We are fighting Evil. Doesn't worth it?
Again, if we have the will.
If the 1983 Code of Canon Law does not provide for involuntary resignation, can a given quota of Cardinals opposed to PF's undoubted intentions to make changes to God's Commandments delay their introduction by stymying them at every opportunity until he physically tires of having them accepted? It is not at all clear if he can even be deposed if he does actually fall into heresy and no direction given by those who should know.
Heresy? That is just the beginning... He was prophesied long, long ago...He has different names like: THE DESTROYER https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSDF281v2XQ, APOCALYPTIC FALSE PROPHET https://fatherofloveandmercy.wordpress.com/2013/02/17/the-false-prophet-will-now-take-over-the-seat-in-rome/...and other http://veritas-vincit-international.org/2014/08/16/blessed-anne-catherine-emmerichs-prophecy-on-the-two-popes/
Don't be naive, he is Judas incarnated and he will destroy the church AS PROPHESIED...so instead of being constantly surprised, we have to start to protect our FAITH from him.
Jesus told us and clearly here what to do: https://fatherofloveandmercy.wordpress.com/2013/08/17/they-must-retain-the-holy-missals-the-vestments-the-holy-bible-and-the-holy-crosses-these-will-all-be-replaced/
YOU CAN STILL WAIT OR BE PROACTIVE!!!
Careful with giving Fr. De Sousa a free pass at this juncture. That piece still has that anodyne endistancing flavour so characteristic of the self-styled Catholic intellectual elite in North America. Strong ties to the neocon camp, this one. Student of the Neuhaus School of Americanism.
CCC 675-677
The Church's ultimate trial
675 Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.
676 The Antichrist's deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgment. The Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism, especially the "intrinsically perverse" political form of a secular messianism.
677 The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection. The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of the Church through a progressive ascendancy, but only by God's victory over the final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven. God's triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgment after the final cosmic upheaval of this passing world.
Our Lord to St. Faustina:
Tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near. (Diary 965).
I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if they do not recognize this time of My visitation. (Diary 1160)
Before the Day of Justice, I am sending the Day of Mercy. (Diary 1588)
This is no coincidence that we are entering the 'year of Mercy' -- before He comes as the Judge, He will come as the merciful Saviour. I don't want to be the harbinger of bad news, but Jesus told the Apostles specifically that there would be signs, just as we see the trees budding we know spring approaches, so keep watchful, keep in a state of grace, keep prayerful, and try to save as many souls as you can (by save of course I mean by way of conversion as only God saves) if they won't listen, pray and sacrifice, every pain, every cold, flu, trial, heartache, tribulation, etc. sacrifice anything you can for the conversion of sinners. Our goal is not to send people to hell but to win souls for heaven, that they may share in the Glory.
1. There's a reason Jesuits have not been made popes in the past.
2. We can be confident that God will intervene, perhaps by persuading Pope Francis by extraordinary means to abandon any attempts to mitigate the Holy Gospel, or the Lord simply take Papa Bergoglio home before he can do real damage.
3. Thank God for priests like Fr. De Souza. I've met him and spoken with him in a small group discussion and he is the real deal (... unlike another media pundit who consorts—or is that cavorts?—with dissident theologians).
4. Pray for Pope St. John Paul II's intercession in the Rome debacle and for the Universal Church, that we may be spared any additional annoyances caused by the errant behaviours of conniving bishops.
Who is this Pope? Imagine someone with the iron will of a Pius X - but instead of hammering the modernists, his goal is to "change the Church."
OK, despite the clarion call of Vox and others like him, most of us are not getting it. Why are you all thinking in the past? There is no imminent crisis. The crisis has occurred and now response must be implemented. The Church IS changed, according to the plans embarked upon in the 1930's.
I'm not going over all that again, as either you know it or you don't. I'm afraid many young folks do not understand, this seems to them a strange and sudden shock. But let's get united on a few facts so we can be on the same page:
This is not about money. That is the most trite cliche in any crisis, probably because it's usually true. If you have to settle on a cliche, power would be much closer to the truth than cash.
Stop projecting your daydreams and hoping Bergoglio will be "impeached" or other nonsense. If you are so naive, think of this: whom do you really believe will be Pope when Bergoglio exits the throne? It likely will be much worse!
It's all decided, kiddos, unless the underdogs can brilliantly and miraculously retake the advantage? Again, not likely as this is the OUTCOME OF DECADES of planning, heavily influenced and helped along by the homosexual agenda IN AND OUT of the Church! The "divorce/communion" issue was nothing but a "foot in the door" to elevate the homosexuals.
These things are hard for some to grasp. It should be, as you cannot find this stuff on the internet. You can find hints and bits, but unless you are older and have been actively involved in parishes or other church things, you can't really have a feel for the underlying, partially hidden, depths.
Please don't go by gossip, it will only diffuse the need for unity among the faithful. Sure, read the blogs, but keep in mind this is NOT a Malachi Martin novel. 80% of what you read in a "mainstream" or "neocath" and even "trad" source is inaccurate. By intention, by omission, or by error. 80 percent, yes! Be discerning.
Instead of wasting energy speculating about when Francis will retire, if Wuerl is gay (no, IMHO), if the FFI will ever be allowed to see the light of day, or what Marx does in his spare time... instead we should be talking about what to do, what WE can do! If anything. Are we going to keep the ship afloat or go down with the pirates?
When Pope Francis got Elected as Pope. He took the name Francis after St. Francis of Assisi. What was the message given to St. Francis of Assisi in the Church of St. Damiano from the Cross Go Repair My Church Which is Falling into Ruins. Our Present Pope is trying to rebuild the Church after all the abuse & cover ups of abuse. He is trying to live a simple Lifestyle Remembering that When he took his vows as a Jesuit on was Poverty.
This is nothing new. "Saint" JPII did the exact same thing with capital punishment. Thanks to his activism, the Catholic position is de facto abolitionist in all cases, in direct conflict to centuries of teaching from Scripture or Tradition:
http://archive.frontpagemag.com/readArticle.aspx?ARTID=1463
You can quote the CCC to me all day, all night and twice on Sundays. The fact remains that JPII changed the fundamental moral criterion for capital punishment from the divine image in humanity to the state's ability to incarcerate capital felons. That's also reflected in the CCC.
The ultimate consequence of the Catholic interpretation of Matthew 16:18 is that the clerical leadership believes it's orthodox by its very nature. So why should it listen to the "little people's" demands for greater orthodoxy -- especially since the "little people" have been giving such blind shepherds the blind deference they demand and crave?
Hey TH2, I wish you'd blog more often. Your posts are also so erudite and hard-hitting. You and Vox seem to keep a good eye on what's going on in the Canadian church.
