Turkey setting stage for conflagration

TURKEY SYRIA RUSSIA WARPLANE DOWNEDTurkey has no business in NATO. It has no business as part of the European Community. It has aided and abetted ISIS and has blocked attempts to destroy it. ISIS fighters enter Syria and Iraq through Turkey and the oil comes out to it.

Today, the Turks shot down a Russian military jet which later crashed in Syria. They say it was over Turkey. It was a reckless, dangerous action.

May God rest the Christian soul of the Russian pilot.

Now, if NATO wishes to go to war with Russia over this then heaven help us.

Never did I think that I would side with Russia on so many things in the last few years. We should be allied with Russia. Vladimir Putin issued a statement saying:

“Our pilots and our plane never threatened the Republic of Turkey in any way. This is an obvious fact,” Mr. Putin said ahead of a meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in the Black Sea resort of Sochi. “Today’s loss is a stab in our back delivered by the accomplices of terrorists. I cannot find another wording for what happened today.”
The Globe and Mail reports that Syrian rebels, funded by the United States of America, chanted that their "god is greatest" which as Father Thomas J. Rosica has reminded us, is not a call to war.

Turkey has been the nurturer of ISIS in its own desire to restore its Ottoman Caliphate. The Turks have been the cause of much suffering throughout history. It continues.

At the end of the day, this is the fault of Francis, Benedict XVI, John Paul II, John Paul I, Paul VI, John XXIII and even Pius XII.

They have not done what they should have done and you all know what that is. Russia's evils have already been spread, it is not something yet to come. Its evils of communism have infiltrated the Church and the West socially and culturally. It is Masonic, it is Satanic. The Russia today, is not the Russia of the past. Russia is the last religious and cultural bulwark against radicalist Islam. The Consecration of Russia must be done, it must be done without delay. It is the Consecration that will pour forth the grace and heavenly intercession that will cause Russia to embrace completely its Christian heritage and unite it with the West with "both lungs" under the Church of Christ Catholic to evangelise Europe and the world and free us from the evil scourge facing us.

Our Lady of Fatima, intercede for us. Amen.

The Pact of Metz, otherwise known as the Vatican-Moscow Agreement in 1962 has been the main obstacle to the Popes' performing this consecration as Blessed Mother specifically instructed, a consecration that would have caused the conversion of Russia and would have prevented the present scandals the Church now suffers.

The Pact of Metz cannot be verified as having actually taken place. Pope Paul VI spoke against Communism at the end of the Council despite the policy of ostpolitik, and as the Soviet Union has along ago been demolished it is time now that this consecration be done. Fr. Kramer of SSPX said he has confirmation from Vatican inside informants that Putin asked PF to carry this out but his request was refused. Something more than the Pact of Metz is the reason for this and it would not be proper to blame the Russian Orthodox Church or the Russian government for not acceding to Our Lady's request. This papacy needs to be ended promptly.

Two points:

1) Pius XI should be included, since it was in his pontificate that Our Lady specifically said:

2) "The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to order and make in union with all the bishops of the world the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart,, promising to save it by this means. ". In short, the consecration must be Collegial.

I know that for many TCs, the word " Collegial " is anathema. However, there is a true and false collegiality. This is true collegiality.

That's why Pope John XXIII didn't release the Third Secret of Fatima - it would have prevented VII.

Vox, the music that usually plays on your blog is so uplifting and consoling to this rabbit, who is taking care of a very sick bunny at the moment! (Readers' prayers for Stephen would be appreciated.)

Has the music been removed? The comment box seemed the easiest way to ask for information and prayers. God bless you all.

Vatican II condemned communism. In Gaudium et Spes, we read the following:

21. "In her loyal devotion to God and men, the Church has already repudiated(16) and cannot cease repudiating, sorrowfully but as firmly as possible, those poisonous doctrines and actions which contradict reason and the common experience of humanity, and dethrone man from his native excellence."

Footnote (16) referenced Church condemnations of communism.

16. Cf. Pius XI, encyclical letter Divini Redemptoris, March 19, 1937: AAS 29 (1937), pp. 65-106; Pius XII, encyclical letter Ad Apostolorum Principis, June 29, 1958: AAS 50 (1958) pp. 601-614; John XXIII, encyclical letter Mater et Magistra May 15, 1961: AAS 53 (1961), pp. 451-453; Paul VI, encyclical Ecclesiam Suam, Aug. 6, 1964: AAS 56 (1964), pp. 651-653.

In his August 6, 1964 A.D. Encyclical ECCLESIAM SUAM (Paths Of The Church), Pope Blessed Paul VI condemned communism.

101. "These are the reasons which compel us, as they compelled our predecessors and, with them, everyone who has religious values at heart, to condemn the ideological systems which deny God and oppress the church-systems which are often identified with economic, social and political regimes, amongst which atheistic communism is the chief."

On Sunday September 1, 2013 A.D., His Holiness Pope Francis announced a special day of universal prayer and fasting to be held that following Saturday to beg God for peace to arrive in Syria.

That was a beautiful and holy endeavor by Pope Francis. Unfortunately, he had not granted sufficient time to allow dioceses to prepare fully for the Pope's initiative.

Is it too outrageous to believe that in regard to events in the West, the Middle East, and almost everywhere else on earth, that we are on the verge of exploding into World War III?

Is it too much to ask of our Pope and bishops to launch an initiative, this time with sufficient time to prepare, that would call upon dioceses worldwide to institute prayer, fasting, public Processions...a Rosary Crusade...

...a mammoth appeal to God to:

1. Restore holy greatness to out collapsed and crisis-ridden Church?

2. To steer the "Christian" West from its full-speed-ahead plunge into the Culture of Death, "silent apostasy", and eventual Islamization?

We need His Holiness Pope Francis to lead such an initiative.

I wonder...due to God's Design, whether the Holy Year of Mercy, which begins on December 8, is the initiative in question?

The Holy Year of Mercy will arrive just in time...and may the Holy Year become a holy success.

Mark Thomas,

I wonder how a man can announce a Holy Year of Mercy.
It is our Lord God who is merciful, according to His will and design.
Introducing a human initiative, according to which extra mercy should be available and dispensed, equals extending one's influence much beyond one's standing.

No man should say: This year will be a year of mercy. Let us have mercy teams go and dispense mercy.

Is just me, who can see, how blasphemous it is? Am I mistaken?

Mark Thomas said...

Dorota, I am at a complete loss as to why you would suggest that the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy convoked (beginning this December 8) by His Holiness Pope Francis is blasphemous. Dorota, again...I'm baffled beyond belief as to why you feel that way.

His Holiness Pope Francis, in Misericordiae Vultus, BULL OF INDICTION OF THE EXTRAORDINARY JUBILEE OF MERCY, places God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost — The Holy Trinity — at the center of the Jubilee.

The Extraordinary Jubilee is all about God's mercy...the promotion of confession...Indulgences.

In Misericordiae Vultus, in major fashion, Pope Francis promoted Indulgences. Throughout the upcoming Holy Year, Indulgences will become front and center again within the Church.

Probably for the first time in their lives, young Catholics in particular will become familiar with the Church's great tradition of Indulgences.

Pope Francis' document in question also focused intently upon the promotion of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The upcoming Extraordinary Jubilee will call great attention to the Blessed Virgin Mary who, in turn, will point the way to her holy Son our Lord Jesus Christ.

Among the most beautiful and profound sections of Misericordiae Vultus, Pope Francis noted that during the Holy Year of Mercy, we "will entrust the life of the Church, all humanity, and the entire cosmos to the Lordship of Christ..."

In major fashion, throughout the Extraordinary Jubilee, within and without the Church, attention will be focused upon the "Lordship of Christ."

Dorota, what is "blasphemous" about any of the above?

I am also baffled as to why you characterized the Holy Year of Mercy (Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy) as a "human initiative".

God, not man, has granted to us, beginning in the Church's most ancient days, Jubilees. There simply is not one sense of "human initiative" in the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy that the Vicar of Christ has convoked.

The concept of "Holy Year" comes to us from God.

God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The Holy Trinity. Confession. Forgiveness. God's mercy. Indulgences. The Blessed Virgin Mary (who points the way to God).

That is the focus of the Holy Year convoked by Pope Francis.

Dorota, I hope that you will reconsider your discomfort with the upcoming Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. Dorota, the potential of the massive outflowing of God's mercy via the Holy Year is very real.

Dorota, let us embrace the upcoming Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy. Let us also promote...steer your family and friends into the Holy Year where they will encounter God and His mercy via Confession, Indulgences, and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Dorota, the Holy Year will, in powerful fashion, inform people about the "Lordship of Christ."

Pax.

Dorota said..."No man should say: This year will be a year of mercy. Let us have mercy teams go and dispense mercy."

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave to the Bishops of Rome..."And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.

"l I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.* Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Also to the Pope (and bishops/priests) "Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained."

Dorota, His Holiness Pope Francis has received authority from Jesus Christ to have convoked the Jubilee (Jubliees, of course, are rooted in the Church's ancient Tradition) in question.

Pope Francis, The Vicar of Christ, has the authority to authorize Missionaries of Mercy (priests who will preach the Good News and, in Jesus Christ's name, forgive sins) to go out into the world.

Dorota, is it not holy, uplifting, and beautiful that during Lent 2016 A.D., Missionaries of Mercy will fan out in dioceses to preach Jesus Christ (and offer the Sacrament of Penance) to the Faithful and world (that is, preach Jesus Christ to non-Catholics)?

Dorota, why are you uneasy with that?

By the way, let us keep in mind that Pope Francis also declared that priests of the SSPX also have been called to play a major role throughout the upcoming Jubilee.

Pope Francis has informed the Faithful that they are perfectly free to receive the Sacrament of Penance from priests of the SSPX.

Dorota, finally, here is Pope Francis' announcement in regard to Missionaries of Mercy. Again, I am uncertain as to why you oppose the Missionaries of Mercy...particularly as they will travel throughout dioceses to preach Jesus Christ and offer the Sacrament of Penance.

Pope Francis...18. "During Lent of this Holy Year, I intend to send out Missionaries of Mercy. They will be a sign of the Church’s maternal solicitude for the People of God, enabling them to enter the profound richness of this mystery so fundamental to the faith.

"There will be priests to whom I will grant the authority to pardon even those sins reserved to the Holy See, so that the breadth of their mandate as confessors will be even clearer.

"They will be, above all, living signs of the Father’s readiness to welcome those in search of his pardon. They will be missionaries of mercy because they will be facilitators of a truly human encounter, a source of liberation, rich with responsibility for overcoming obstacles and taking up the new life of Baptism again.

"They will be led in their mission by the words of the Apostle: “For God has consigned all men to disobedience, that he may have mercy upon all” (Rom 11:32). Everyone, in fact, without exception, is called to embrace the call to mercy. May these Missionaries live this call with the assurance that they can fix their eyes on Jesus, “the merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God” (Heb 2:17).

"I ask my brother Bishops to invite and welcome these Missionaries so that they can be, above all, persuasive preachers of mercy.

"May individual dioceses organize “missions to the people” in such a way that these Missionaries may be heralds of joy and forgiveness. Bishops are asked to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation with their people so that the time of grace made possible by the Jubilee year makes it possible for many of God’s sons and daughters to take up once again the journey to the Father’s house.

"May pastors, especially during the liturgical season of Lent, be diligent in calling back the faithful “to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace” (Heb 4:16)."

I'm with Dorota. I see this as a ploy to get people to accept and approve of homosexuality by using guilt as leverage. How can we not extend more "mercy" to others.
Not buying it.
This is just as disappointing to believe as to read. Sorry.
Sixlittlerabbits, prayer sent up for your bunny and for you and your family. If we had more faithful rabbits we'd be in much better shape as a church. God bless you all.

Good overall analysis of the situation. Many people of Faith, at this time, need to recognize that there aren't many "Christian" countries left and this is a battle against Islam and Secular Progressivism/Nihilism and they both want our heads.

Check out my blog for comments on these events and other Catholic issues.
