If Christmas is such a charade why don't you send the tree back to Bavaria?

The home of Vox and Fox will put lights on and candles in the windows. It will have a Nativity and a Christmas Tree. We will have parties. We will sing songs. We will sacrifice in Advent to eat our fill in Christmastide. We will rejoice with friends in the coming of the Word Made Flesh as a babe and long for His Second Coming. We will remember, whilst we do this, all of those who are suffering from persecution and religious indifferentism. We will not bury our light under a bushel. We will weep for the suffering but we will rejoice for the Coming of the Lord and the New Jerusalem.

We will not cower and mourn, but we will raise our heads to the Light.

Maybe the malls and the secular world's rejoicing in the coming of the almighty dollar, pound, euro and shekel, but real Catholics will rejoice in the Truth. For us, it is not a "charade."

Dear Bishop of Rome; if you really believe what you say then send the tree back to Bavaria, do not erect the Nativity scene in St. Peter's Square and cancel the whole thing.

But I have a better idea.

Why don't YOU, tell the whole world every day in your little homilies and from the window of the Apostolic Palace this:

  • There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.
  • Jesus of Nazareth, Son of God, Son of Man, Son of Mary is the only Way, Truth and Life and that nobody sees God the Father but through Him.
  • That Protestantism, Freemasonry, the Exaltation of Man and globalism are anti-Christian heresies that have brought the world to the state in which it is in.
  • That while we respect all peoples. those who follow Mahomet, Buddha, Zoroaster, Gurak Nana and the pantheon of Hindu deities are following the Evil One and must come to the Light of Our Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.
  • Then you could ask all the Bishops of the world to join you in Consecrating Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

After you've done all of this, then you will have ended the real "charade".

"God bless us, everyone."

Pope claims Christmas is a 'charade' due to continued war across the world

The Pope said that the lights, parties, Christmas trees and nativity scenes of the season are a charade with so much "war and hate"

Christmas festivities will seem empty in a world which has chosen "war and hate", Pope Francis said Thursday.
"Christmas is approaching: there will be lights, parties, Christmas trees and nativity scenes ... it's all a charade. The world continues to go to war. The world has not chosen a peaceful path," he said in a sermon.
"There are wars today everywhere, and hate," he said after the worst terror attack in French history, the bombing of a Russian airliner, a double suicide bombing in Lebanon, and a series of other deadly strikes.
"We should ask for the grace to weep for this world, which does not recognise the path to peace. To weep for those who live for war and have the cynicism to deny it," the Argentine pontiff said, adding: "God weeps, Jesus weeps".
He continued: "Those who make war are damned, they're delinquents. War can be 'justified' for many reasons. But when the whole world is at war, as it is today ... there is no justification."
The sermon threw a shadow over the start of the festive season at the Vatican, where a giant Christmas tree was unveiled.

The 25-metre (82-foot) high pine hails from former pope Benedict XVI's homeland, the German state of Bavaria.
The tree, which will be decorated in time for the start of the Vatican's Holy Year on December 8, will be festooned with ornaments made by children from cancer wards in hospitals across Italy.
This year's nativity scene will be made up of 24 life-size figures, sculpted from wood and hand-painted.
In a nod to Pope Francis's humble style, alongside the figures from the story of Jesus's birth will be sculptures of ordinary people, including a man supporting an elderly person in need.

As the Bible says in Ephesians: " Be angry but do not sin..." I am angry. When I hear Pope Francis say "Christmas is approaching: there will be lights, parties, Christmas trees and nativity scenes ... it's all a charade. The world continues to go to war. The world has not chosen a peaceful path,"....... nativity scenes ARE the answer!!!! Jesus, Blessed Mother, St. Joseph and the Catholic Church are the reason for the season of Christ Mass.

You state the absolute obvious so succinctly and forthrightly. As long as the present occupiers of the Vatican are in situ, the whole scenario is a sham. How they can claim to speak for Catholicism I don't know. They only hold secular values and the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary & France to Christ Our King will never be done. Why are Cardinals Sarah, Pell, Burke etc. not doing more to shift them? Their total silence on this question is disturbing. There must be some way to remove these men from the Hierarchal Offices they hold - they obviously don't hold the Catholic faith so shouldn't be occupying these positions. Priests who support homosexual marriage, cohabitation, giving Holy Communion to such people along with Protestants who don't believe in transubstantiation and shrugging their shoulders at sodomy within their ranks giving it a "natural" status, must be excommunicated.

It is now an absolute necessity for all Catholic websites to join together in promoting a petition to PF & Cardinals/Bishops stating the wishes of the laity on such issues and requiring the excommunication of those that don't comply fully with Catholic Doctrine, Magisterium & Tradition, to which we can all add our names & email addresses. It is high time they began to comprehend our existence and to know we are not going to accept protestantism/secularism in any shape or form. I do urge you to get such a petition started as quickly as possible. Gracias.

Jesus did not promise peace to those who deny Him.
This pope denies that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, by denouncing the mission of the Church to bring the Gospel to all nations. He confirms this also by playing language games, stating for example, that God is not Catholic. While the statement is true, it has deceived the lukewarm, the misguided (for example by fruitless inter-religious dialoguing and pronouncements of Allah's victory in the Vatican gardens).
Bergoglio ignored Jesus, and (humbly) decided that peace on earth is possible, with enough dialoguing, duplicity, deception, false humility and main-stream adoration. Yet elements remain who have enough intellectual honesty to clearly see irreconcilable differences. On one side these "fundamentalists" fast and pray, on the other - hate and behead. Bergoglio will eagerly chastise the first group, and invite to their homes the other. If you are not with him on this, you are not a Christian. You do not deserve the joy of Christmas, even if you have to keep it hidden from your violent jihadi brothers, in order not to offend them.

Worse yet. He demeans pious priests, the military and police as sickos but no word on homosexuals or feminized men seeking the priesthood. They don't "scare" him. I wonder why? This guy is a complete embarrassment. Just stay away.

So much for a message of hope, eh?

It occurs to me that the Son of God arrived during the Roman occupation of the Holy Land. Surely the Holy Father hasn't forgotten that God entered the world of the Pax Romana (which was no real peace). Surely the Holy Father hasn't forgotten that the Holy Family had to flee from Herod's rage and his slaughter of the innocents.

It's right to be bummed (shocked) about the satanic injustices going on in the world. However, when has the world not been in the midst of some upheaval during Christmas? It seems that a message of hope and the peace which can only be found in Christ Jesus might have served better than a message of despair. We can still hope and celebrate the Prince of Peace in the midst of crisis. Recall the Christmas Truce of 1914 when "German and British soldiers crossed trenches to exchange greetings,... exchange food and souvenirs... and hold joint burial ceremonies, prisoner swaps..." and sing carols. Wikipedia/Christmas Truce.

What a petulant boy that bergoglio can be. War is in the world so Christmas is a charade? Tell me...when was war NOT in the world? Or in the Universe? Christmas does not depend on war, Christmas is the message of Peace in a fallen world..and MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE CELEBRATION OF THE BIRTH OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. Bergoglio, please stop being a sook, it isn't right.

Ephesians 6:12 [DRB]: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places."

In politics, especially here in the U.S. with this Obama administration, "never let a crisis goes to waste" is the way and slogan it uses to accomplish its goals.

This Vatican uses that same tactic.

The Vatican's goal is the rejection of God and Catholicism to please the world and get richer.

So it uses every opportunity to attack or diminish and water down Catholicism.

We see it every day, either coming from this Pope, his Cardinals, Bishops and Priests, attacks after attacks on the Catholic Church and the teachings of God.

Damn good here. Echo my sentiments exactly. You have to be willfully and obstinately blind to Truth to not see through the real charade. I pray for the Pope, Bishops and Holy Mother the Church.

Divinity descending to humanity. That is the Christmas gift, not an old man getting a hand from a passerby. One is an ordinary act of charity, sure, we all do that daily, don't we? We are Christians, after all! But "ordinary" banal commonplace reality is not part of a creche for a reason.

That lovely and pure vision reminds us why we go on living, why we pray. The angel beneath the star points us to look to God with every fibre of our being. The shepherds on the side acknowledge the worship of we ordinary folk. The kings remind every ruler and prince that they too should bend the knee!

We who believe, and perhaps those merely hoping to, so desperately, put up a tree or light a candle. We ring bells, and we delight in the innocence of children sensing this is something not merely special, but holy, in all the year.

We find peace and beauty hidden among war and violence. The salvation of the human race by its very Creator is almost beyond comprehension. But it is ultimately the only reason not to lose hope due to human cruelty and depravity.

If the pope is despairing, God help him! Also, may God help the thousands, maybe millions, of children and elderly who may hear of his talk and have their Christmas forever overshadowed by despair.

If someone believes these age-old sacred traditions are a "charade" that someone needs to look into his own heart and discover what is missing.

After reading this article, I have come to the conclusion that this Pope and his cohorts are Spoilers. He and they have spoilt everything we hold dear and sacred. Like bullies in the playground
he and they have trampled underfoot our Faith, the Holy Eucharist, the Priesthood, the Catechism, our Families - all in the name of the Lord! But when the Lord catches up with them, they will see Justice
in a terrible, irrevocable way. God is not mocked forever!

Oh, the irony. Christmas is a 'charade'. Meanwhile, we will set up a whacking great tree in St.Peters. Is Bergoglio turning into the Christmas Scrooge made famous by Charles Dickens? Pray for him.
