The actions of Russia in Ukraine are tragic and condemnable. Yet, what is really behind it? Most of my readers are no doubt informed enough by history to understand and recall. The western democracies of Europe and North America repeatedly violated agreements with Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The United States government in particular is at fault. The great tragedy is that the one man who could have created an alliance of peace, Donald John Trump, was thwarted by Obama, the Clintons and the American deep state by the "Russia, Russia, Russia" conspiracy. Russia and the West should be allies in every way. Trump was prevented from having a normal diplomatic relationship with Putin and America and all of us have lost because of it. It is reported that Trump told both Putin and Xi that if either of them acted on his watch against Ukraine or Taiwan then he would destroy Beijing and Moscow. They clearly believed him. Out of that could have come positive and reciprocal relationships. The Trump Doctrine was to make these despots think you are crazy enough to actually do it. Think here of the "Rocket Man" period. The West is to blame for this war. Obama subverted a legitimate government in Ukraine and the Biden's made it their economic plaything.
No Canadian or American blood must be spilt in Ukraine. As for Europeans, they can do whatever they want, I have no sympathy, we've spent enough of the last 110 years saving their sissy asses and the people here have had enough. I can think of nothing more pathetic than Canadians dying for "King and Country" in the Boer War or Passchendaele for a pathetic family feud between a bunch of European self-appointed inbreeds bringing about worse despots, fascists and another horror.
To understand fully the last straw one must ponder this picture from October 2019 when God withdrew his protecting hand. What has happened since then?
Putin gave a speech this morning, copied below. While his actions are deplorable, it is understandable.
"I consider it necessary today to speak again about the tragic events in Donbass and the key aspects of ensuring the security of Russia.
I will begin with what I said in my address on February 21, 2022. I spoke about our biggest concerns and worries, and about the fundamental threats which irresponsible Western politicians created for Russia consistently, rudely and unceremoniously from year to year. I am referring to the eastward expansion of NATO, which is moving its military infrastructure ever closer to the Russian border.
It is a fact that over the past 30 years we have been patiently trying to come to an agreement with the leading NATO countries regarding the principles of equal and indivisible security in Europe. In response to our proposals, we invariably faced either cynical deception and lies or attempts at pressure and blackmail, while the North Atlantic alliance continued to expand despite our protests and concerns. Its military machine is moving and, as I said, is approaching our very border.
Why is this happening? Where did this insolent manner of talking down from the height of their exceptionalism, infallibility and all-permissiveness come from? What is the explanation for this contemptuous and disdainful attitude to our interests and absolutely legitimate demands?
The answer is simple. Everything is clear and obvious. In the late 1980s, the Soviet Union grew weaker and subsequently broke apart. That experience should serve as a good lesson for us, because it has shown us that the paralysis of power and will is the first step towards complete degradation and oblivion. We lost confidence for only one moment, but it was enough to disrupt the balance of forces in the world.
I would now like to say something very important for those who may be tempted to interfere in these developments from the outside. No matter who tries to stand in our way or all the more so create threats for our country and our people, they must know that Russia will respond immediately, and the consequences will be such as you have never seen in your entire history. No matter how the events unfold, we are ready. All the necessary decisions in this regard have been taken. I hope that my words will be heard.”

As to the U.S.: stolen elections have grave and worldwide consequences. And for those who think that the Consecration of Russia to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart was fully and properly done: explain this war with no 'era of peace' in sight.

Of course the jp2 dedication was accepted! Every consecration is accepted. But it wasn’t what was required. The debt was $2 billion dollars. Twenty bucks ain’t what the required payment is. The ‘imperfect’ consecration was a signal disobedience.
Every consecration would be accepted.

Few understand what us going on. During World War 2, Poland was partitioned by Russia and Germany, and then Germany invaded Russia, and the German/Russian birders kept fluctuating back and forth, until Germany lost. But in between whrn the Germans occupied Eastern Poland, now Western Ukraine, irregular Ukrainian nationalist terrorists during that window of time to murder up to 1 quarter million Polish Roman Catholics. And if the mother was Ukrainian, father Polish, the boys would be killed. If the mother was Polish, the girls would be killed. Civilians, not just soldiers. What the Ukrainian terrorists did was murder my grandmother in her house. What these same grandchildren of these same nationalist terrorists did back then is the same thing they have been doing to the Russian minorities living in Donetsk and Luhansk.
Today they call themselves "Nazarov" or ""Right Sector". They are Neonaziis and cowards, and psychopaths.And they are allied to the pro-abortion, Progayactivist regimes of NATO, EU and of Joe Biden and the Democratic Party. Putin is God's Holy Weapon purify Ukraine with fire.

Thank you Constantine for unmasking the satanic Nazis in the Ukraine whom Putin is now eliminating. The Ukrainians are very politically naive (said with all due respect)and never realized that the US was using them as pawns in an evil game to encircle Russia. They continued to shell and murder in eastern Ukraine for 8 years. The American neocons kept on telling the useless, US installed Kiev junta not to negotiate a settlement (Minsk Accords); they continued to trick the deluded Ukrainians they would be in NATO. This would never happen, and once again, Slavic blood is being spilt which is on the hands of the western devils, masquerading as holier-than thou peace lovers.
Unless there is a political revolution on the continent, we can look to see decades of economic decline (perhaps what the US neocons wanted all along; after all they were hell bent on ensuring Nordstream 2 did not go through. Incidentally a German desired project.)The lunacy of buying expensive American LNG is just that, lunacy. But it does reflect the fact that Germany is not really an independent State, but, like others an outpost of neoliberal hegemony, backed up by NATO imperialism. It is time that Germans throw off the US hegemony and struck out on their own and make an advantageous deal with Russia, where both countries can mutually benefit.
