I can't watch this, the still image is enough. This officer needs to be identified. Who is he. Is his family proud of this? This type of provocative behavior by police is intended to get people stirred up. They are hoping, by causing aggravation, they can get some intense reactions going, and then, justification. What evil, slimy toads these people are. Police, manhandling elderly people and women, their specialty. This is just thuggery.
People need to check out alternative media to try to get some facts. Too many people are still gaslighted and don't know it, or they would all be supporting the truckers. Try Epoch Times, Canon 212 blog, Steve Kirsch, Alex Berenson, Conservative Tree House, and so on. The media lies constantly. Reality is out there, but it's not going to come across your TV screen anymore.

The officer was told by his superiors (law and order) to ticket motorists honking their horns so he was well within his right to do so. Judging by the lip of the driver I observe he was resisting and acting defiant while being egged on by the bystander filming the video. You don't act like that when a cop pulls you over in Canada. I can only imagine how rude he was to the officer from the beginning of the stop that we didn't see. Under the taunting and abusive atmosphere these police officers are required to work I would say they are acting reasonably well.
This coming from someone on the side of the protesters. I want these restrictions gone and never legally allowed to be mandated ever.

A "toot" to another car driving by? No discretion? A local, not an outsider to Ottawa. He gave him a lip, to be sure but he was 78 and 4'10". Egged on, yes; but he was nervous, gave him a credit card instead of his license and was not placed under arrest until he walked away.
