It is getting so I can hardly stand to be part of this church anymore. 300 killed in this barbaric attack, hundreds injured. We go to Mass and hear not a word about it. We are being picked off and churchmen mumble about inanities, and continue to press for more Islam, more Islam. Are they insane? Or are we.
With all due respect, Vox, do you seriously believe the Author of Life takes the lives He created as lightly as you do? This attack is a stench in the nostrils of a holy, righteous God! It is time -- way past time -- for Catholics to stop treating the dead with the kind of treacly sentimentality that your words display. Too many Catholics are limp-wristed when it comes to evil -- starting with the Pope and his prelates. This must stop! We must fight for the innocent, not merely pray for them (or have the dead pray for us)! And if that means violence against the perpetrators of evil, then so be it!
