Honduran Seminarians Allege Widespread Homosexual Misconduct
But to date, Cardinal Maradiaga has not responded publicly to the allegations regarding his archdiocesan seminary.
TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras — Nearly 50 seminarians in Honduras have protested against what they say is a widespread and entrenched pattern of homosexual practice in Tegucigalpa’s major seminary.
In a letter written to the seminary’s formators that was subsequently circulated in June to the country’s Catholic bishops, the seminarians asserted “irrefutable evidence” exists that a homosexual network pervades the institution and is being protected by its rector.
“Heterosexual seminarians are scandalized and really depressed,” one of the seminarians who drafted the letter told the Register.

It has gone on in every seminary for decades. All hetero seminarians and priests should speak out.
Fr Despard in Scotland gave an accurate accounting of how he and others suffered .ex Fr Hoatson spilled the beans in an attempted lawsuit a long time ago on McCarrick ,Egan and others.
This demon will definitely have to be defrocked. They all should be of course, but this individual is sinister. Not only has he physically & emotionally destroyed the men he violated, but he has spent huge amounts of money donated by lay Catholics purely for the upkeep of the seminary, schools, parish churches etc.to lavish gifts on his lovers & even built an apartment on the seminary campus for one of them, making him a monstrous thief in clerical garb. Of course he has seen our money being abominably misused by others in very high places to compensate the victims of verified abusing clerics who should have been defrocked & given over to the civil power. The abuse of power to use donations in this way should be taken away from red & pink hats immediately. In this particular case a lot of this misspent money undoubtedly came from outside Honduras. Malaga Diocese send a third of their newly ordained priests to that location to build-up the Church there & also fund it very well. There is a kind of 'twinning' between us. While welcoming that fact that the seminarians have made this statement public, enraging ++Maradiaga who certainly knew all about it, it will rebound on that part of the Church if this situation isn't promptly dealt with. I hope to see a similar outcome to Chile with even more accountability for the safe return of the monies donated which were not for personal use but for the work of Christ in that area.
