Not your grandmother's Nativity Set - heck, it's not even Donald Trump's!

Even the White House has more dignity and class and respect that the cocaine snorting, child-porn sodomite mafioso perverts in Vatican City, all under the watchful eye of the Pope of Mercy.

Oh, look, its the corporal works of mercy all taking precedence over the Nativity of the WORD MADE FLESH, lost somewhere in that menagerie of artistic arrogance.

Vatican Nativity Scene 2017

When you look at this, where is the eye drawn? Who or what is the most significant figure?

Vatican Nativity Scene 2017 - Naked Man

Those rigid Three Wise Guys passing by that naked buff man with the six pack abs to worship God come to earth.

Any man with a body like that isn't hungry and isn't incapable of work. Now, if he were beaten and dirty and old and broken the point might have been made.

The point is not made. Instead, it is a god to the homosexual perverts in the Vatican. What a disgusting and revolting situation we are in.

Shame on Bergoglio. May he get a big lump of high sulphur coal in his stocking.

Facebook of all places has banned the photo of the Vatican's Nativity Display from being shown on its site.

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/12/15/facebook-nixes-photo-of-vatican-nativity-scene-as-sexually-provocative/

Apparently it's because the Nativity Scene contravenes Facebook's policy against showing sexually suggestive and provocative images. We're now at the point where Facebook has a greater degree of moral rectitude than the Pope.

The idea seems to be draw as much attention away from the God Man as possible and replace with man god.

Ann Barnhardt has a theory about the star,a few people have remarked it looks strange. https://www.barnhardt.biz/2017/12/15/toldya-homoerotica-in-the-vatican-nativity-and-something-to-offset-a-little/

But isn't it nice the way he's being clothed with a roll of toilet paper?

I am not sure what the male with the six pack abs is supposed to represent, but the picture you have featured has been photoshopped.

In the larger photo, the Three Wise Men are hovering near the newborn, not the muscle man.

I do agree that the positioning and scale of the well-muscled and nearly naked man is extremely odd.

The people of Rome should get their bulldozers out & remove this blasphemous LGBTQI/Marxist depiction of the Nativity scene. It is scandalous & should be promptly dumped.

It is not Photoshop but it is the angle but the photographer was using that looks like they’ve just passed him by but I actually do think that was the intent because if you look at it in a broader diorama may have walked right past him and egg Norred him because they were going to worship God those terrible rigid self-absorbed Promethean neo- Pelagians.

It is laughable to see churchmen defending this, when even the most ignorant is aware that this is what sodomites refer to as "homoerotica". This attempted coverup (no pun intended) by churchmen raises serious questions. Was it not a few years ago when a prominent Homo-Dominican admitted priests worked out in gyms to admire each others bodies?

This "nativity scene" is Amoris in miniature. Everybody can see exactly what is intended, yet to say so--NOT to offend Almighty God in the first place, but to so much as ask whether or not He might be offended--is to be denounced as disrespectful to all that is holy oneself. Fair is foul and foul is fair. . . .

But to my mind, the WORST thing, the MOST DANGEROUS thing, is the mentality being put forward by the likes of Mark Brumley of Ignatius Press (see article at Catholic World Report). According to him, the problem isn't the problem; the problem is the fact that some people are willing to point out that there is a problem. If everyone would just be "Christian" enough to pretend that we're back in the Benedict/JP II days, then Ignatius Press could keep defending its top spot in the "champions of orthodoxy" category without risking any negative impact on image and potential sales. So see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, would you?

The advent of Bergoglio, after all, has presented quite a thorny marketing challenge for Father Fessio's otherwise quite laudable little empire. And unfortunately, Ignatius Press set about painting itself into this pretty little corner right off the bat. Instead of recognizing and confronting the rising threat--and who could have outdone Father Fessio at that?--Ignatius calmly offered Bergoglianism as just another of its many intellectual flavors. So of course Mark Brumley is now mainly invested in papal damage control. What other approach could he take, while keeping his sights firmly set on his own bottom line?

The truth of the matter is that there is no moral equivalency to be struck between those advancing the heresy of Bergoglianism and those opposing it. An unclad distracted man of dubious sexual orientation upstaging the Christ Child in the Vatican nativity scene isn't, as Brumley seems to want us to think, an occasion for abstract artistic consideration by both sides, but for unmuted denunciation by all who honor Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's a crying shame that compromised abstraction is all Ignatius Press can imagine itself successfully selling any more.

Anyone who would gaze on this blasphemy and find it "art" or "good", is likely so lost in Modernism as to render their spirit of discernment inactive. This is an outrage, and I wish that I were in Rome, so I could go up there and get rid of it. These sodomites enjoy oh so much, poking us in the eye at every opportunity. These are cruel and vindictive "men".
May God deliver us from them soon.

Time for a group of courageous Catholics to literally cleanse the Temple, and, in a similar manner as Christ himself, with "scourges of small cords" (John 2:15) drive the scroundels out and overthrow and destroy this whole blasphemous scene.

You know I hadn't thought about it that way...well, nor had I seen a close shot. Naked buff guy sporting a 5 o'clock shadow eh? Oddly enough we never had that particular figurine in the Nativity scenes we had around the house growing up. I think he'll be staying out of mine in the future too.

Please take a close look at the Blessed Mother. This is a young, teenage girl? Look at "her" massive shoulders, thick torso, flat chest, big hands, big boned face and jaw, and not least, the Virgin Mother of God sitting with legs wide apart in a manspread posture.

Can anyone contemplate the idea that this may be the ultimate mockery: the Madonna depicted as a transsexual?

Take a long, close look.

It's 'eye candy' for the perverts in Rome. I wouldn't get NEAR the Vatican at this point for all the tea in China! The Vatican is so permeated with the Demon, seriously, it would be dangerous.

As far as the White House's Nativity? Trump himself as well as Melania have done a fabulous job in assembling a really BEAUTIFUL Nativity!! He has publicly given Jesus Christ the glory and honor both in word and deed many times now! Seriously he runs circles around this 'Pope' honoring Jesus in word and deed!! As crude as he can be in his speech, he has now professed many times his Christian belief (not yet 'Catholic' of course, but I believe God is still working on him;) Trump, believe it or not, puts this 'Pope' to SHAME. At this point it appears he has MUCH more of a chance to get to Heaven than Bergoglio ever would. I can't remember where I heard this, but what comes to mind: 'We will be really surprised (probably SHOCKED) who makes it to Heaven and who doesn't'. I believe that's probably very true.

Oh, and he's fought for and spoken out publicly for the 'babies in the womb', unlike our 'Pope'. He's the most pro life President we've had in many a moon. He may be a 'blow hard' that doesn't conduct himself in the typical dignified way that people expect from a President, but he is definitely going in the right direction and fighting for Christian people. With all of his flaws, I respect him 100 fold over Bergoglio.

TLM I could not agree with you more! President Trump should get much appreciation from all Christians, because he has made it clear he is a Christian and supports Christianity. He acknowledges God, speaks about Christ, and defends life. Contrast that with this horror of a pope. It is a shocking scandal the USCCB wanted Hillary Clinton as president, and can't support this pro-life president. That says it all, really.
As far as this nativity, to even have other figures present, is to say the Holy Family "are not enough". This scene is a debacle, a terrible scandal, and it is discouraging it remains standing.

The Masons are in total control at the Vatican to such an extent that they feel they will get away with this display (they will). They are using the Church to mock Christ and His birth. Meanwhile, the few good Catholics left in Rome do nothing. Best not to be seen as a hater, I guess. God loves us so much that He allows this as a mark of His great love. However, He will not be mocked forever and there will be hell to pay by those who mock Him.

In the last days vice will be virtue and virtue vice. The vatican formerly the epitome of virtue is now vice.

St John Chrysostom in a sermon on the Nativity said, “On this day of Christmas, the Word of God, being truly God, appeared in the form of a man, and turned all adoration to himself and away from competing claims for our attention.”

While the works of mercy are important, to allow them to take pride of place and thus become a competing claim for our attention is truly to miss to import of this feast and mystery of our faith. Furthermore, to do so in such a questionable manner only adds to the loss of purpose in honouring the birth of Our Lord.

We should perhaps heed the words of the Liturgy of St James, “Let all mortal flesh keep silent, and with fear and trembling stand; ponder nothing earthly minded, for with blessing in His hand, Christ out God to earth descendeth, our full homage to command.” Truly let us ponder nothing earthly minded.

Dr. Mabuse said...

What's that last picture, anyway? Have they added a line to the corporal works of mercy: "For I was dead and you covered me with a sheet"? It looks like Scrooge's body awaiting burial. I don't even know where it's located in that menagerie; perhaps you have to walk all around it collect every figure in the set.
