Oh give it a rest you clowns,
You say you're not "offended" that the clown El Presidente of Bolivia gave that wretched and blasphemous gift to the Pope? Well, I am offended.
You say that it is a about "dialogue?"
I say it is about murder and mayhem and the hatred of Christ.
You can't spin this and you can't try to make it seem like another form of a Roman crucifixion.
You also cannot know the intent of the Jesuitical artist (RIP) that allegedly made this piece of shite.
Get the hell out.

In his Encyclical Letter Divini Redemptoris, Pope Pius XI denounced communism as inherently atheistic, intrinsically perverse, and wholly at odds with Christian teaching. His Encyclical moreover charges that communism robs human persons of their dignity and strips them of their liberty.
To suggest, therefore, that the hammer and sickle represent dialogue, freedom and progress is not only aabsurd, but is, in my view, utterly demonic.
Aside from the large Communist blasphemy of the Hammer-and-Sickle Crucifix, Francis also received a little rendition of it on a pendant. He has now dedicated it to the Virgin of Copacabana, Patroness of Bolivia. http://www.novusordowatch.org/wire/#.VaBpZflViko
From your mouth to God's ears
The responsibility is Francis's. The rest are running about trying to twist his words and actions to appear somewhat Catholic. Shame on all those who abuse their platforms by refusing to tell the truth. Blessed Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle . . .
It's a mockery of Jesus Christ, His teachings, His Sacrifice.
The real problem is Pope Francis sees this as a symbol of reign.
I'd say it's an appropriate gift for the 'liberation' theology Pope.
Yes, Mary, it is an objective offence against God. Lord, have mercy.
