Milanese Curia strips Catholic teacher of license for showing The Silent Scream

In Ontario, the certification of a Catholic teacher to teach religion is the responsibility of OECTA, the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association. It is an absurdity that former Archbishops of Toronto divested themselves of this authority. To wrestle it back now given labour laws would be near impossible.

Yet, having the archdiocesan curia responsible for the certification of teachers of religion may not be the be all and end all as we can discern from this example in Milan, Italy.

Giorgio Nadali, is a highly regarded teacher with twenty-six years of experience, a journalist and author with nine religious books sot his credit and a a contributor to Catholic publications. Teaching at Liceo Cardeno in Milan, Nadali thought it a normal course of action to teach on the matters of life and the evil of abortion. He chose The Silent Scream, produced by the late Dr. Bernard Nathanson, a former Jewish abortionist who realised through ultra-sound and the fight-back of the foetus that he was killing a baby. Dr. Nathanson converted spent the remainder of his career fighting abortion and died a faithful Catholic. 

More faithful than the Ambrosian Curia of Milan is this teacher who, on December 12, 2014 revoked, Nadali's right to teach the Catholic religion in school.

Known to be a mentor of Father Thomas Rosica, Cardinal Carlo Martini's damage and heterodoxy runs deep, including a call to change the Church's stance on divorce and remarriage, "Unless the church adopts a more generous attitude towards divorced persons, it will lose the allegiance of future generations," he said.

The fact that Cardinal Angelo Scola has allowed his curia to embrace the world and persecute this teacher is a sad commentary on someone considered in 2013 to be papabile. Martini is suspected to have been close to being elected pope in 2005. He has also been claimed by the Grand Lodge of Italy, to have been a Freemason.
