Selfish "selfie" Presbyters, arrogant abusive priests. Abusive to Our Lord, His Holy Sacrifice and abusive to the Catholic faithful they lead astray

How scandalous, how ridiculous are you men, you arrogant and sycophantic supposed Priests of Jesus Christ. You bring cameras to the Altar of Sacrifice. You bring these and you mock Calvary and the Cross. Do you even believe?

Well, your brother in the top left certainly does and he is aghast at your petulance.

Your snivelling, grovelling, puerile disbelieving inanity. Look at you, feminised emasculated presbyters. You are the same ones that deny Gregorian chant to your parishioners or a little Latin now and then or fight against the traditional Rite. You're the same scandalous lot that won't preach on abortion or sodomy, the same despicable cabal that stood by whilst your the pervert pederast and sodomite priests in your rank committed abuses and perversion on boys and some girls. You disgusting clerics are the ones who tore out altars and destroyed the liturgy. You have given yourselves away in your arrogance and your corruption. You follow another god. You follow an antichrist.

Every one of you, objectively speaking, will celebrate Mass today in a state of mortal sin for what you did, the sin of sacrilege.

And this sweaty nosed emasculated presbyter has such an ego he put it out for the whole world to see.

How many priest perverts covered up in Philadelphia Cardinal Bevilacqua?

How many parishes closed Archbishop Chaput?

How many lost souls? Destroyed lives? Money paid to lawyers to defend your filthy selves against the just claims of victims.

Liturgical and sexual perverts, the whole lot of you disgusts me.

Bravo!

Please, let us all say a prayer for Father S.P. who's picture I have removed at his request. I am moved by the humility of his letter to me.

God bless you Father Paolino. Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructis ventris tui. Jesus! Sancta Maria, ora pro nobis, peccatoribus, nunc et in ora mortis nostrae, Amen.

Our Lady Mother of Priests, pray for all priests of your Son!

Archdiocese of Toronto: Televised Mass for Shut-Ins features Hymn to Earth goddess Gaia!

UPDATE: The Chancellor for the Archdiocese of Toronto has indicated that the matter will be discussed with Monsignor Brad Massman, age 76 and retired Rector of St. Paul's Basilica, to ensure that, "it does not happen again." Perhaps the good Monsignor Massman, who really should know better, might take a look at this article at the New Liturgical Movement on why we sing to God.

For those of us that work to ensure that the music in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is focused on the true worship of God and with the dignity that befits the sacred liturgy, the introduction of hymns has been a challenging exercise.

I contend that the single worst problem with Catholic worship today as it relates to what is ridiculously considered to be sacred or liturgical music resides in the 1967 document, Musicam Sacram. For the first time in the history of the Church; hymns were used to supplant the antiphons, liturgical texts from Holy Scripture structured in the Mass for over 1,500 years. This was right out of Luther's Mass. How diabolical! More often than not, we see these sacred texts in the Ordinary Form of the Mass, the Entrance, Offertory (yes, it exists) and Communion antiphons, replaced by hymns of dubious quality and theology. Hymns replacing scripture. The whole premise seems counter to the increased reading of scripture in the Mass that the reformers (I prefer to call them what they were, revolutionaries) allegedly wanted; or was it?

Less control of course is given over the recessional hymn which is certainly not necessary as technically speaking, Mass has ended just before with the Ite. Yet, this is a time, should a hymn be chosen, for glorious singing of praise or thanksgiving to God or perhaps the Blessed Mother or Saint of the Day.

For those poor souls trapped inside and unable to attend the Holy Mass in Toronto, they often choose to be subjected to the liturgical banality of a televised Mass for Shut-Ins which does not substitute for the Sunday obligation.

Is that not bad enough?

No, it seems.

How about this hymn to the pagan earth goddess, gaia at the end of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. You can listen to it yourself at 27:30.

This is a disgrace. How hard, some of us have worked for proper liturgy to the glory of God and the edification of his people. How disgusting it is to see this priest and these laymen and women and these musicians do such a disgrace. So unprofessional; so scandalous to the faithful held hostage by these liturgically incompetent musicians and priests who permit this right under their noses. Have they no faith?

There is no excuse for this in Toronto, not with the presence of St. Michael's Choir School and the outstanding work done there for over eighty years. Msgr. Ronan would not be amused but I think, they all hated him anyway.

Let nobody tell you that the liturgy in the Archdiocese of Toronto, except for a few minor exceptions, is not impoverished, banal, self-serving and narcissistic. Those are harsh words, this is a condemnation and I am tired of preaching and working for something better when ecclesiastics really don't seem to give a damn.

A few months ago, a bishop stopped to question me about the book, the Simple English Propers and his questioning of the existence of the Offertory Antiphon. I had to explain to a bishop, what it was. Who the hell am I to explain liturgy to a bishop?

I have over 25 years as a Cantor in the Ordinary Form. I find this liturgical bile reprehensible and insulting to Our Lord and to the work that those of us faithful have done. Frankly, I think there is simply no hope for the reformed liturgy. I am becoming more convinced than ever that the future of the Church is back to its past.

Pagan gaia worship, and on the official Archdiocese of Toronto YouTube page!

Enough!

Cardinal Collins, you need to fix this!

UPDATE:

I am pleased to see that this is making the rounds in Italian and the writer drew the parallel with the Bishop of Rome's environmental manifesto:

http://www.iltimone.org/33529,News.html

Gaia in Greek mythology is the goddess who personified the Earth generates divine races. Second born after Chaos and before Eros. He was revered, especially in Attica, as the goddess of the dead and the underworld. In late period it is to merge with the various figures of the Universal Mother and the Mother of the Gods. It was identified by the Romans with Tellus.

The global environmental movement has spread the name, and in some even the worship of Gaia, arguing that the earth is a sentient super-organism, which lives in the spirit of the ancient goddess worship and reverence it deserves.

The British chemist and environmentalist guru James Lovelock's book "Gaia: a new look at life" (Gaia: new ideas on ecology) writes that "all forms of life on the planet are a part of Gaia - part of the spirit the goddess that sustains life on earth. From the beginning of this transformation in a living system, the actions of Gaia have created diversity in evolution of living creatures on the planet earth. "

A hymn to Gaia was sung at the end of the Mass broadcast on Sunday by the television channel CTV Toronto, Mass and entrusted to the archdiocese Canadian television space (in the video above per minute 27:30).

The song is titled "Beautiful Gaia" and was written by American Carolyn McDade, feminist and composer of songs spiritualeggianti often used in the liturgies Protestant and Catholic unfortunately.

Pope's trip to South America is a disaster in the making

The Pope's trip to South America is a disaster a disaster in the making. If some of these instances were not so outright scandalous they might be considered as sick jokes. These instances reveal deep problems with this papacy and the people in the Vatican in general and specifically with the men that surround the Pope. Charitably, we must assume they are idiots, but they are most likely must more than that. Manipulative, evil, destructive, Christ-hating monsters. Freemasons, communists and homosexuals have have no faith and no fear of the Lord.

I will make three points.

The Pope's homily requesting the people of Ecuador to "pray fervently for this intention, (the Synod) so that Christ can take even what might seem to us impure, scandalous or threatening, and turn it -- by making it part of his 'hour' -- into a miracle. Families today need this miracle!"

A comment that Fr. Federico Lombardi said the Bishop of Rome did not refer to anything specific.

Really Padre Lombardi?

Do you think we're stupid?

We have the socialist El Presidente with the bad haircut presenting the Pope with a Corpus of Our Lord on a communist hammer and sickle. We are told the Pope said, "this is not okay." Or he may have said "I did not know that" after it was explained to him. Did he say the first? The second? Both? It does not matter, The Pope should have handed this blasphemy right back to the tinpot dictator who has disgraced his country. What Vatican official would not have known the protocols that gifts to the "leaders" are discussed beforehand? El Presidente also put an "pectoral cross" of this blasphemy around the Pope's neck.

Lombardi assures us that the monstrosity will not end up in a Church.

Want to bet?

This is another beach ball moment if I ever saw one.

Yet, the worst of all?

The Most Blessed Sacrament distributed by laymen from paper bags.

Well, at least the bags were white.

Paper bag ciboria here, plastic cups at WYD in Brazil.

These people have no faith.

They are deceived or bloody evil.

Get right or get out!

UPDATE; The Lord's Day July 12.

Father Z is reporting that it seems that they were not actually "paper bags."

Whatever.

Catholic Church funeral for dog in Belgium!

Miss Roxy, now 14
I love dogs. This picture above is of Roxy, she is over 14 now and still acts as if she were a puppy. Roxy was a rescue from the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She was one of about 150 dogs in a series of cages and boxes found in a barn north of Toronto in the summer of 2001. She was about 6 months old at the time and she has been a great dog.

As I said, I love dogs, but sometimes, things go to far.

As if you thought things could not get lower for the Church in Belgium -- what a country, it has become so evil -- what can one expect when "they share a border with the Dutch!" It puts its citizens to death through euthanasia, it aborts its young and is not so slowly dying and being replaced by Muslims. It's bishop in Antwerp believes the Church should bless or marry sodomites and lesbians, its churches are empty its society and culture in collapse. It's preeminent Cardinal who refused to retire is a protector of sodomite pederasts and yet is so praised by our the Bishop of Rome, Pope Francis and held in prominence for the sin-odd on the suffering family. Is this the more of the "Francis effect?"

What else can we expect from such a rotted society and culture but that said by a woman in the video below when she states, "the churches are deserted, for once they are full we must not criticise."

Wrong sister. We certainly must criticise. You, the priest, the rest of the clowns who would be present for such a scandal and those who destroyed the faith in this once great Catholic region.

The "funeral" took place at the Church of St. Victor in the Diocese of Namur permitted and presided over by the pastor, Francois Lallemand. Belgium has become a sewer and the bishops and priests of the Church there are to blame.

So, without further adieu; here is the funeral for Miss Chewa a rather celebrated canine in life and death. I send out a special thanks to my brother-in-law Mario, Liliane his wife and the delightful Marie-Therese of Paris, her mother, for their impeccable translation through the Belgian accent.

(Lady with black and white Chihuahua) – “Miss Chiwa fell in love with Kenzo. They were supposed to get married, but love sometimes goes in another direction and it resulted in her getting married with a second, whose name was Kenzo, who strangely resembles him. So there you go, this is why Kenzo, in memory, has come back to visit his first love.”

(Ladies talking) – Are those boys or girls? (in the buggy)

Song playing says “In the morning when I get up I have so much to do. I am Miss Chiwa....”

(Lady speaking to congregation in pews) – “The good thing about Miss Chiwa was to have always helped others who did not have kibbles for their animals and also refuge when ...[unintelligible] ... in several places. I am sorry if I am forgetting anyone but I would like to say thank you Monsieur (Father ?) for accepting to do a small ceremony, for Miss Chiwa. I am very grateful.”

(Priest) – Miss Chiwa became a ‘star’ meaning a star that must also bring its light on other realities...”

(Song) – “Dad and Mom, I would like to thank you for all the love that you give me...”

(Owner with Kenzo) – “You see this is your love. You are her love.”

(Song) – “I am Miss Chiwa...”

(Blonde owner outside church) – We drove her to Enzo I believe, the taxidermist. Her little body is there resting.  We will get her back in 3-4 months and she will come back home. I preferred this because my brother was cremated in car accident a few years ago and it really affected me. So she will always be here with us.  Yes we will continue, in the name of Miss Chiwa, the combat, for all the unhappy dogs, but in the name of Miss Chiwa”

(Lady outside church with glasses) – It is for all the friends who are here. We do not force anyone. The churches are deserted; for once that they are full we must not criticize. I am not a believer, but I am here.  Those who don’t have dogs cannot understand. Each person mourns differently. Those who are catholic go to church and others who are not will do something else.”

(Guy with red hat) – “Animals are worse than me. I hold on to them 100%. When I see an animal on the street, I cry. It’s cool to see, but I cried.”

The guardian of the law does not follow the law

In 2008, as Cardinal of Buenos Aires, Francis washed the feet of drug addicts (CNS)

Iis announced that Pope Francis is going to undertake the foot-washing ritual on Holy Thursday outside of the Vatican or Lateran Basilica once again. In past years, the foot-washing has included youth, women and muslims.

Up until 1955, it was done outside of Mass and reserved for monasteries, cathedrals or seminaries and religious houses. The superior or abbot or bishop or rector washed the feet of those clerics symbolic of the events of Our Lord at the Last Supper and as a sign of priesthood.

The rubrics are clear, the Latin word phrase is "viri selecti" or selected men.

The man in charge of the law has dispensed with the law and puts faithful priests in parishes who have resisted demands by feminist liturgical nazis to wash their feet in difficult position.

My advice to priests is this: the foot-washing in the the Mass (in either Form) is optional, just like the "sign of peace."

Option it out and save yourself the grief!

If the Bishop of Rome wishes to display an act of charity to those in prisons or muslims, etc., this is a wonderful thing to do. There are 364 other days of the year to display this charity and example. Holy Thursday is not one of them.

It was good enough for them, what about the rest of us?

UPDATE:

Kat has posted an update. She has received an apology from the priest and he has sent one out to those that wrote to complain. Good for him, but it should never have happened in the first place. Since the matter has been closed the contact list has been removed.

The "Little Flower" during one of her later illnesses. What would she think of this?
Katrina Fernandez, at The Crescat, has suffered the loss of her Abuela (grandmother).

Kat; may the LORD welcome her into His arms and may she at this moment be enjoying the beatific vision. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and may light perpetual shine upon her. May she rest in peace. May you also be comforted in your loss and those members of our family also.

St. Pio of Pietrelcina in choir at Mass
We owe Katrina thanks for even in her time of grief she has declared publicly the scandal which took place at the hands of the parish staff and priest at the Church of St. Therese of Lisieux in Chesapeake, Virginia. Somehow, I don't think the Little Flower would be impressed. No roses for you! Tell me, have you ever seen such a list of staff? PLEASE SEE AT THE END OF THIS POST.

Not only was it difficult to obtain the Last Rites for her Abuela, Kat herself was degraded at the communion rail, when she desired to receive Our Blessed Lord in the legal and first way, on her tongue. This can never be denied!

Tantumblogo at A Blog for Dallas Area Catholics asked a salient question, "Who is the real fundammentalist/extremist?"

My question for the priest is this, "Father, you clearly felt Kat was wrong, who were you to judge?

Communion in the hand is an error, a grievous error. It is an abomination and I urge you friend, please do not do it. Please receive Our Blessed Lord on your tongue and whenever possible, kneeling. It is permitted by indult and it can be revoked at any time. That will not happen under the current Bishop of Rome but mark my words well - there is a man alive right now who will one day sit on the Chair of Peter and that man will "restore all things in Christ."

He will do away with this abomination and he may very now be doing his penance for it.

Please visit Katrina at Patheos and read it all there.

St. Francis de Sales Oratory of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in St. Louis, Missouri

UPDATE FROM COMBOX:

A member of the parish in Marysville left a comment. It deserves to be read and answered, so I am taking the liberty of attaching it here. However, I have now removed her name and her comments from the combox. She is distressed and has no reason to apologise. This is about clarifying a bad situation and bringing people to know that the liturgy is not a game we play, like football.

May the person who put this comment know that she is loved and appreciated for her openness here and she does not need to feel bad about writing. However, I think it is important that the comment and my explanation stand in the interest of catechesis.

I am a member of this parish. Marysville is the city that just had a shooting at our high school 100 days ago. Father was trying to stir a healing, to find joy in life and show community and energy. It does not change the mass or its sacredness. We do not cover our heads, and most teens wear jeans to mass but they come! It is not right to be Pharisees and Sadducees. Jesus healed on the Sabbath and ate with tax collectors and prostitutes. This priest is bringing people to Jesus and meeting them where they are. Shame on you who judge. This is a community who love Jesus and wanted to celebrate and give thanks for the good in the world as well as the good in our faith at a tough time in Marysville. Uniting and celebrating the good. If you think this was wrong than you have that right but do not judge what you do not understand. I love our priest, our church, and will defend it. This city has been through so much. Pray for us, not hate and point fingers. This same church just opened a homeless shelter! Jesus is in our Faith Formation classes, our choir, and with our saints!
Let me assure you of my respect and prayers regarding the tragedy which happened in your town. I was not aware of this sad event, just one more in a long series of tragedies in schools across America. I must say that I was probably more pre-occupied with the murders of two of our soldiers in Canada by Islamo-fascist terrorists (which our Prime Minister calls out by name) to have paid much attention to that shooting; or perhaps I am becoming as many are, immune to the situation. Regardless, it was a tragedy for those victims and their families and the community. May the dead rest in peace with Our Lord and may the perpetrators be confounded and the mourning comforted. I am sure that everyone here reading this will pause now and say a Hail Mary for those who continue to suffer from this event.

...

Now, the rest you are probably not going to like because I am going to give it to you straight. It is clear to me that you have erroneous opinions based on an ill-formed Catholic faith and catechetical upbringing and I will try answer you with charity, and clarity!

1. "Father was trying to stir a healing, to find joy in life and show community and energy."

I am sure that you are familiar with the saying, "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions?" Well, that's the road ahead if that is what he was trying to do. First, I don't know Father's real intention. However, presuming that you are correct and this was his intention, objectively speaking, he was wrong and committed an abuse of the liturgy which for a priest, can be a very serious sin. I am actually surprised -- given that he is African I would have thought that he would know better. Perhaps though, he has been infected with the poison administered by previous Archbishops of Seattle beginning with Hunthausen that your current Shepherd is trying to remedy. Seattle has not been known for more than a century now of orthodoxy and true liturgical renewal but rather of liturgical abuse and heretical influences. How are the vocations there doing? You can read it all at the archived Seattle Catholic. On your point about "healing, joy in life and community and energy," let us put energy aside because that could mean anything. If you think that NFL football and other non-purposed paraphernalia in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass provides healing and joy, then that explains more about the situation in your parish and your faith knowledge than it does about anything else. Healing is found in prayer and adoration and in the Sacraments, the first and most particular being Penance and the Holy Eucharist. Joy is found in Truth and what was done here is none of that. Given that Father -- after pronouncing the final blessing, -- put on a Seahawks ski cap and threw a Seattle Seahawks blanket over his chasuble before the recessional, he may have known exactly what he was doing.

2. It does not change the mass or its sacredness.

Wrong - it most certainly does! The fundamental problem is that, with all respect, you seem to have no idea what the Mass actually is and what is taking place at Mass. The word Mass comes from the Latin - missa which means "you are sent" the last words of the liturgy are, Ite missa est - Go, you are sent and that is part of our western language problem beginning with the Latin. Our ancestors knew what it meant - mission, we seem to have lost that. However, in the East, the liturgy is referred to as Divine Worship. In my own ancestors land of Lebanon in the Maronite Rite, it is Qurbono -- literally, The Sacrifice! There is a more fundamental fact seemingly poorly catechised Catholics are ignorant of and it is this: -- the Mass is the Sacrifice of Jesus on Calvary brought forward in time and re-presented on the Altar of Sacrifice in our churches. It is a propitiatory offering to God the Father by God the Son through the God the Holy Spirit of the once and final blood sacrifice of Christ in an unbloody manner for the expiation of my sins and yours and all of humanity should they come to Him to be baptised in water and washed by His blood! The problem, or so it seems, is that you were not taught this for the simple reason that many Catholic teachers, priests and bishops don't believe it. Further, the posture of the priest facing the people and the horizontal plane on which the Altar sits masks it (see the picture above from St Francis de Sales Oratory to show what I mean). Let me ask you this question -- if you were transported back in time to Calvary to witness the crucifixion of Our Blessed Lord, would you decorate the cross with Seattle Seahawks paraphernalia and jump up and dance or cheer for a sports team? Of course you would not! Therefore, what was done was, in fact, a ridicule of Divine Worship to God and a profanation of the sacred.

3. We do not cover our heads, and most teens wear jeans to mass but they come!

Nobody asked you to cover your heads (as women) and the 1983 Code of Canon Law does not require it, though it is a worthy thing to do and Saint Paul the Apostle himself would demand it. As for "jeans" -- well, if that is all one has, then jeans are fine, but if you were going to meet the President of the United States (even the current boob in the White House), you would most certainly dress up and put on your "Sunday best" right? Why would you do any less for the King of kings and Lord of lords?

4. It is not right to be Pharisees and Sadducees.

Ah that old canard, eh?; well, you forgot to add that I'm a "self-absorbed, promethean neo-pelagian" too! Tell me, when Jesus went to the Temple, His Father's house which is to be called "a house of prayer" but which was made into a "den of thieves" by the Pharisees and Sadducees, was he being Pharisaical when he beat them out of the Temple with whips and overturned the tables of the money-changers or was He just being a self-absorbed promethean neo-pelagian? Who then, Stacey, are the real Pharisees and Sadducees? Those who act as the ones did who defiled the Temple or your Church for last Sunday (and heaven knows what other times) or those who follow what Jesus did proclaiming that a "house of prayer has been turned into a den of thieves?"

5. Jesus healed on the Sabbath and ate with tax collectors and prostitutes.

He most certainly did and your comment is a non-sequitur.

6. This priest is bringing people to Jesus and meeting them where they are.

I hope that he is bringing them to Jesus but if this is where they are, they are in the wrong place. The priest must raise them to a higher level and if this is the height of expectation of the priest and the parish for your youth and people of Marysville, then he and you have a pretty low standard for yourselves and your neighbours.

7. Shame on you who judge.

I'm reporting and besides, what is wrong with judging? We do it every day, you do it. What is it that you are not to judge? I am judging the actions of people that have done wrong. I am not judging your soul or the priest's, or the motives, I have been very careful about that with the word "objectively speaking." Objectively speaking it can be a mortal sin for a priest to introduce such things into the liturgy. Did you know that Vatican II actually taught this? "Therefore no other person, even if he be a priest, may add, remove, or change anything in the liturgy on his own authority." - Sacrosanctam Concilium, III. 22.3

8. This is a community who love Jesus and wanted to celebrate and give thanks for the good in the world as well as the good in our faith at a tough time in Marysville. Uniting and celebrating the good.

All that is good and wonderful but the party does not belong at the Mass, but rather, in the parish hall!

9. If you think this was wrong then you have that right but do not judge what you do not understand.

Not only do I have the God-given right as a citizen of Canada, but I have the calling as a Confirmed Catholic to preach the truth of Christ and His Church; and trust me, I fully understand what is going on.

10.  I love our priest, our church, and will defend it.

Good, that is the right place to start. Now, you need to educate yourself on what was wrong with what was done.

11. This city has been through so much. Pray for us, don't hate and point fingers. This same church just opened a homeless shelter! Jesus is in our Faith Formation classes, our choir, and with our saints!

I am sure all people of goodwill will hold your community up in prayer. Nobody is hating anyone here so please don't use the gay-agenda, Islamic-fascist canard of "hater" to describe me or anyone else commenting on this blog. Homeless shelters are wonderful things and good for the parish that it began one. The City of Seattle has a homeless shelter or two, I should think, but it has nothing to do with the Mass or the Catholic Church; the Church is about more than "social justice." Remember, "not everyone who cries, Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven." It is not about abominable worship to God with a homeless shelter that makes it all right; that makes it all wrong. A little bit of poison in water is still poison. It about right worship and a homeless shelter.

Fundamentally, it seems that what you have not been taught is what was described above about the Holy Mass and that we go to Mass for four reasons which are easy to remember if you think of the Book of Acts, though you touched on it in #8:

A = Adoration of God - FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT.

C = Contrition for our sins.

T = Thanksgiving for all the gifts that God has given to us.

S = Supplication - asking God for our needs and the needs of others.

Nowhere is there to worship the Seattle Seahawks.

One more thing.

Deacon Greg Kandra at The Deacon's Bench picked up this story and quoted directly from two documents easily found on EWTN. Read them there and don't argue with me, take it up with Rome.

Padre Marcos Ribverto Pires - Reason #1001 for Summorum Pontifcum

An absolute disgrace of the Mass. An egoist for a priest. An arrogant and repulsive abuse of the sacred liturgy and Our Blessed Lord's sacrifice. Shame on this priest. Shame on his bishop and shame on the stupid sheeple he is leading to Hades!

This is from Brazil. It is an example of the condition of the Church in South America.

Satan has entered St. Peter's Basilica

How could this travesty been permitted?

This liturgical sham in the sanctuary of St. Peter's Basilica? How could they betray everything Pope Benedict XVI had done to restore sacred liturgy? How could they even think that this is an appropriate way to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

This music is evil, it's beat and rhythm is secular and from the pits of Hell,

It is a scandal upon the Holy Mass.

Who is responsible for this scandal, this absurdity, this travesty?

As a Catholic, I can only hang my head in shame and pray for you conversion.

May St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church open their eyes, before they are closed by heaven.

May God forgive them for this.

Because I cannot.

There is no such thing as a Sung Low Mass

I cannot count the numbers of Masses which I have attended and chanted as Cantor or Schola Master according to the more ancient use. I chant every Sunday and have personally organised over 30 Solemn or Sung Masses since Summorum Pontificum including a Mass in the Presence of a Greater Prelate. I say this not to boast but to indicate my level of experience.

Never, ever have I heard of a Sung Low Mass, it simply does not exist.

Here from the  Una Voce Toronto blog, the Toronto Traditional Mass Society.

Tom Rosica CSB caught in the Act -- The Saint made me do it!

DATELINE TWITTER - In a stunning Tweet today, Father Thomas Rosica, CSB, President of the Assumption University, Executive Producer of Salt + Light - Your Catholic Channel of Hope and English spokesman for the Holy See itself claimed that the illicit earthenware chalice which the Apostolic Nuncio to Canada was forced to use in a "special" Mass at the studio was, in fact, that of the newest Pope Saint in the Catholic Church.

As reported by the intrepid insiders at Salt + Light, the Nuncio was "most diplomatic" in recognizing that it would be awkward to end the Mass after he noticed the "reprobated" earthenware chalice presented to him at the Offertory.

"It's okay" said our inside source, "Father Tom says that just as Pope Francis is not bound by liturgical law and is truly humble for washing the feet of Muslims and women, it's the same with the Pope Saint!" in an explanation of how Rosica rationalized the disobedience to Redemptionis Sacramentum a document issued by St. John Paul II to put an end to liturgical abuses.

It is claimed that the illicit earthenware cup was owned by St. John Paul II and therefore, okay to use, notwithstanding that there is no evidence that this was the case nor that the Saint used the chalice after his promulgation of the law as spelled out in Redemptionis Sacramentum. "Well, there's not exactly a picture of the Saint using it, we have no real proof" responded the source as to evidence that the illicit earthenware cup was ever owed or used by the great Pope and Saint. "But they were all used at WYD2002 so that's the same thing, right?" continued our source.

In a further Tweet, Father Rosica also expressed grave concern that those attending the Latin Mass are being abused and ridiculed by others who are "angry" and "filled with venom and hate toward those who see Latin as a unifying force."

Sources at Salt + Light indicate that Father Tom Rosica is a great fan of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.

"Oh yes, Rule #12 is a particular favourite." said another source. "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it." Asked to explain, the source continued, "Father Tom believes in cutting off the support network to isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions, people hurt faster than institutions." After explaining to the source Father Rosica's dozens of letters of "direct personalised criticism" particularly the "chant and rant" the source responded; "Oh yes, it is important to ridicule the work and personalise the target".

Tom Rosica CSB and his "Earthen Vessels"

Oh dear.

There are so many issues in the Church and world right now and I really hate to put on my liturgical cop costume, Halloween has passed us by after all. However, it is in the little things that all begins to go awry with the faith and it begins in the liturgy. If one cannot follow the laws and norms here, then it is not far to stretch when it comes to giving in to Holy Communion for the divorced and remarried or unrepentant people in homosexual unions.

The reason must be simple; they've lost the faith in the Real Presence.

Let us look now at this paragraph from Redemptionis Sacramentum published under the authority of a Saint of Heaven, Saint John Paul II.

3. Sacred Vessels
[117.] Sacred vessels for containing the Body and Blood of the Lord must be made in strict conformity with the norms of tradition and of the liturgical books. The Bishops’ Conferences have the faculty to decide whether it is appropriate, once their decisions have been given the recognitio by the Apostolic See, for sacred vessels to be made of other solid materials as well. It is strictly required, however, that such materials be truly noble in the common estimation within a given region, so that honour will be given to the Lord by their use, and all risk of diminishing the doctrine of the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharistic species in the eyes of the faithful will be avoided. Reprobated,*therefore, is any practice of using for the celebration of Mass common vessels, or others lacking in quality, or devoid of all artistic merit or which are mere containers, as also other vessels made from glass, earthenware, clay, or other materials that break easily. This norm is to be applied even as regards metals and other materials that easily rust or deteriorate.

We can pardon the Apostolic Nuncio to Canada being a diplomat and all that.

But not his host!

So, unless that earthenware cup is lined with precious gold or silver, we have a little problem.

Why do these men expect obedience from us when as the good Clericalists and hypocrites that they are, they cannot be obedient themselves.

Matthew Chapter 23: [1] Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to his disciples, [2] Saying: The scribes and the Pharisees have sitten on the chair of Moses. [3] All things therefore whatsoever they shall say to you, observe and do: but according to their works do ye not; for they say, and do not. [4] For they bind heavy and insupportable burdens, and lay them on men' s shoulders; but with a finger of their own they will not move them. [5] And all their works they do for to be seen of men. For they make their phylacteries broad, and enlarge their fringes.
We're just so neo-pelagian and Pharisaical all worried about law and all that nasty stuff.

Father's folly

You've probably read about or watched the video on YouTube of the priest in Ireland, Father Ray Kelly, bursting into song at a wedding Mass with a play on Leonard Cohen's H-Word ballad. It is Lent after all but it seems that Father Kelly was so caught up in his narcissistic display of liturgical degenerative disorder, that he totally forgot that fact at least. I can't comment lest I write something which I will regret. Instead, sit back and listen to Louie Verrecchio's parody, "What's it to you?"

Two priests, one Mass, one abomination

This is the Mass. (h/t Rorate Caeli Blog)

First Holy Mass of Father Bertand Lacrois, FSSP; Notre Dame de Victoires, Paris
This on the other hand, is an abomination.

Who are the Pelagians?

You've clearly labelled the "rad-trads" Father Longenecker; (I won't link to it, lest I literally feed the bear) as have Mssrs. Staples, Coffin and Shea (talk about anger issues), Mr. Self-published theologian wannabee with all the blurbs and some questionable apologist and his "minions" to say nothing of the others assortment of poseurs who are doing the devil's work of name-calling and labeling your fellow Catholics; now, what do you call this abomination?

P.S. If you've come here courtesy of the generous link from Mr. Shea, welcome and come back again.

P.P.S.

"Firstly, I would like to be able to choose music when I log on to a website - not have it forced upon me.What exactly would you have the people mentioned in your rather confusing post do about liturgical abuses which took place in 2011 in the Czech Republic?" Victoria.

Well Victoria, the fact that it is in 2011 in Czech is hardly the issue. The issue is abuse. It seems that it has suddenly become de riguer for many Catholic commentators to use the words "rad-trad" and "mad-trad" and "radical traditionalist" as a slur against there fellow Catholics. This has come from little know people and well-known people as mentioned above, even priests. It is wrong. Period, it needs to stop. It is not from the Lord that these slaps and slanders are executed. In fact, it is straight out of Hell. There is nothing the Devil wants more than an end to the traditional liturgy, Latin, Gregorian chant and a permanent divide of the SSPX from Holy Mother Church. Why? Because it all starts with the Mass and its dignity and solemnity and prayer and the examples above are the antithesis of it; oh, and please enjoy the music. As for confusing, it is not I who is confused.
