Preach to all Our Lord Jesus Christ and Him Crucified

Courtesy of Traditional Catholic Priest, this is something we should all reflect on.

A sculpture of Our Lord Jesus Christ based upon the image on the Shroud of Turin.

"All you who pass this way, look and see if there be any sorrow like unto His sorrow!"

This is an excellent source for meditation on the Sorrowful Mysteries. Would we be allowed to print this? Thanks, John.

This is how the crucifixion should be displayed in every church. Especially now. The horrors and reality of the Suffering Christ ought to be burnished into all the minds of us who have decided to forsake the world and follow Him.

It is pretty graphic, and worthy of contemplation...but the "Broken Cheekbone?" How does that meash with the prophecies that none of His bones will be broken?

Might want to double check that.

There is another 'copy' of this crucifix at St. Peter's Church in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. It was placed there by a true Roman Catholic priest, Father Vincent Campi, may he rest in peace.
