Pope to focus on "fake news"

In the latest from the bizarre papacy of Jorge Bergoglio, the man thrust upon the Chair of Peter by a modernist clerical mafia, he has decided to focus on "fake news" for World Communications Day 2018.

Using the scriptural verse of Our Lord, "the truth will set you free," (John 8:32), Bergoglio heaps insult upon Our Lord Jesus Christ -- it is actually the holy feast of His Ascension into heaven.

As the article below notes, it was the Second Vatican Council that determined that the Church should mark such a day in "Inter Mirifica" of 1963. Another reason to take that rotten Council and declare it anathema.

Once again, we see how the Church has lost its way and how under this Bergoglio, it has only increased. It is to preach Our Lord Jesus Christ and Him crucified and risen and ascended and reigning. It is to preach that all must come to Him and His Church to be saved. It is to call us out from sins and instead, with the likes of this Bergoglio, Cupich, Kasper and the rest of their ilk, they leave people to wallow where they are.

These clericalists associated with the Pontifical Council on Social Communications are the real "fake news." These peronist/fascists will go so far as to try to put Catholics who blog under some form of ecclesial interdiction. Well, they won't stop this writer, try as they have.

Meanwhile, Monsignor Elevator Boy Ricca, Monsignor Cocaine Capozzi and Monsignor ChildPornMasturbator Capella and Don Mercedes are protected and enjoying the riches of Rome.

Go ahead. Excommunicate me.

Pope to focus on “fake news” in message for World Communications Day 2018‎

(Vatican Radio)  Pope Francis will focus on the harmful effects of fake news against journalism for peace, in his message for peace for World Communications Day next year.  ““The truth will set you free” (Jn 8:32). Fake news and journalism for peace,” is the theme of the annual Catholic Church observance that the Pope announced with a post on Twitter(@Pontifex) on Friday.
World Communications Day, the only worldwide celebration called for by the Second Vatican ‎Council ‎‎(“Inter Mirifica”, 1963), is marked in most countries, on the recommendation of the bishops of ‎the ‎world, on the Sunday before Pentecost, which in 2018 will fall on May 13.  In some countries, the day is marked as the solemnity of Ascension.
The announcement of the ‎theme is traditionally made on Sept. 29, the feast of the Archangels Michael, ‎Raphael and Gabriel, with ‎Gabriel being designated the patron saint of telecommunications
The Holy ‎Father's message for World ‎Communications Day is traditionally published in conjunction with January ‎‎24, feast of St. Francis de ‎Sales, patron of journalists, to allow bishops' conferences, diocesan offices and ‎communications ‎organizations sufficient time to prepare audiovisual and other materials for national ‎and local ‎celebrations. ‎ ‎
The first World Communications Day was observed on May 7, 1967, under the pontificate of Blessed Pope Paul VI, who wanted to draw attention to the communications media and the enormous power they have for cultural transformation.  Next year’s observance will be the 52nd edition.
Church's contribution
Commenting on the theme of next year’s World Communications Day, the Vatican’s Secretariat for Communication said that false information contributes to creating and fueling strong polarization of opinions. This often consists in distortion of facts, with possible "repercussions on individual ‎and collective behaviours."  In a situation in which social media groups, institutions and the political world are reacting to this phenomenon, the Secretariat said, “the Church would like make its contribution by proposing a ‎reflection on the causes, logic and consequences of misinformation in the media and helping to promote ‎professional journalism, always seeking the truth, and thus a journalism of peace that promotes ‎understanding among people.‎”

Bergoglio continues to hide the child porn priest

Bergoglio continues to hide the identity and cover up the child porn priest appointed to the Nunciature in Washington. An immoral and vile situation if ever there was.

However, a commentator has indicated that the name is now known.

MONSIGNOR CARLO ALBERTO CAPELLA

There is a principle that people charged with criminal offenses, particularly sexual crimes and crimes involving children, are not kept in the shadows but made public. Bergoglio's sympathy and concern for those who suffer from embedded sodomites and abusers is a fraud.

The Pope, or his Secretary of State, refused to agree to the request by the U.S. State Department to waive Capella's diplomatic immunity. They refused and still do not publicly acknowledge the crime. Let us be clear. Unless it was "planted" to frame someone, if one is in possession of child pornography, one is guilty of a crime.

A German Jesuit calls it out as "unprofessional

Let Bergoglio say that this is, "fake news."

ROME - Arguably the Catholic Church’s leading expert in the fight against child sexual abuse believes the Vatican dropped the ball on a recent case in which a diplomat at the papal embassy in Washington, D.C., was flagged as a possible suspect in a child pornography investigation, saying, “This should have been handled differently.”

“I really don’t understand this type of reaction [from the Vatican], and I’m pretty sure the American bishops were quite upset about how it was handled,” said German Jesuit Father Hans Zollner.

Zollner heads the Centre for Child Protection at Rome’s Gregorian University and is also a member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, a body created by Pope Francis to advise him on the reform effort and led by Cardinal Sean O’Malley of Boston.

Zollner called the way the recent case has been handled “tragic” and “unprofessional.”

“The problem isn’t that the diplomat was called back, because every government does the same thing normally, but we should have explained it differently,” he said. “We should have at least clarified the basics, and it doesn’t seem this has happened.”

Is Bergoglio about to disolve the College of Cardinals and appoint his own successor?

According to Michael Matt, the Bishop of Rome is contemplating abolishing the College of Cardinals to appoint his own successor.

Are "gay" unions next.

Marc Cardinal Ouellet warns against "alarmist" interpretations of Amoris Laetitia and its obvious heresy - move along folks, nothing to see here!

Cardinal Marc Ouellet, prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, says the Pope’s 2016 apostolic exhortation on the family must not be misinterpreted as a break with Church tradition.

Marc Cardinal Ouellet spoke yesterday at the annual plenary of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB). and addressed before his fellow bishops, Amoris Laetitia. Clearly concerned about the Correctio Filialis, Canada's former Primate warned against "alarmist interpretations" of the document.

With all due respect to the good Cardinal, a man who was reportedly nearly elected instead of the Argentine Peronist, he needs to get his head of the sand and be honest with his brother bishops and the faithful.

The Catholic Register reports that the Cardinal said:
"Any alarmist interpretation" that says the document is "a break with tradition," or a "permissive interpretation that celebrates access to the sacraments" for the divorced and remarried is "unfaithful to the text and to the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff."
Alarmist? Is he serious?

The Argentine bishops interpreted Amoris Laetitia in the most "permissive interpretation" to which Pope Bergoglio responded in writing, "there is no other interpretation." Yet, Ouellet conveniently ignored this fact. Nowhere, did the good Cardinal challenge the heretical interpretations of the bishops in Malta to say nothing of the egregious actions there against faithful priests. I cite but two examples, readers here know of many more.

Cardinal Ouellet is acting cowardly, fearfully. He might have been elected pope as a moderate alternative to Bergoglio but by his own admission, he fought it off. He is a weak man. He has failed as an apostle and he has mislead his brothers asking them to put their heads in the sand right along with him.

He has blatantly ignored the heresies, or at least the heretical interpretation in various places but has no hesitation in accusing those who see these heresies clearly, as being "alarmist." To Ouellet and his ilk, the emperor is well dressed, well at least as well dressed as Bergoglio can be in polyester.

The time has now come, if it is not long since passed, for the two remaining Dubia Cardinals to gather other like thinking bishops and cardinals in conference to denounce the obvious heresies and call upon the Bishop of Rome to respond publicly or be guilty of heresy himself.

Marc Ouellet and the rest of our bishops and priests are filled with fear. They may agree that Amoris Laetitia is heretical and the Bishop of Rome is himself, a heretic. Yet, they sit and do nothing. They think they have faith. They have fear.

Father John Hunwicke, a signor of the Correctio Filialis, is not a man with fear and he has something to say about it.
Fear is quite beautiful, isn't it, as a Satanic operational strategy? The Enemy disseminates Fear. He fills good honest men with guilt because they feel too fearful to do what they know they should do. And then, when the Correctio is published, his ministers sneer as they answer the journalists' questions, and glibly point out how few signatories there are. As Marco Tossati has put it, "Belittle, label, marginalise".http://liturgicalnotes.blogspot.ca/2017/09/the-aetiology-and-mechanics-of-fear.html
Without a doubt, those who fail to confront this crisis are doing the work of Satan. They are cowards, weak, effeminate men who will be spat out of His mouth for their lukewarmedness.

Vatican blocks faithful Catholic web site, allows access to adultery

Given that the fascists in the Vatican have blocked the website of  Correctio Filialis at http://www.correctiofilialis.org/

Image may contain: 1 person

I wonder if they managed to block child porn sites. After all, they have a diplomat who has been recalled from Washington that has an affinity for kiddie porn. Let us also recall the many members of the adultery site who were resident at vatican.va.

If it were not so sad, it would be funny.

"FILIAL CORRECTION OF POPE FRANCIS for the Propagation of Heresies"

If I could, I would sign this document in bright blue ink!

http://www.correctiofilialis.org/

A 25-page letter signed by 40 Catholic clergy and lay scholars was delivered to Pope Francis on August 11th. Since no answer was received from the Holy Father, it is being made public today, 24th September, Feast of Our Lady of Ransom and of Our Lady of Walsingham. The letter, which is open to new signatories, now has the names of 62 clergy and lay scholars from 20 countries, who also represent others lacking the necessary freedom of speech. It has a Latin title: ‘Correctio filialis de haeresibus propagatis’ (literally, ‘A filial correction concerning the propagation of heresies’). It states that the pope has, by his Apostolic Exhortation Amoris laetitia, and by other, related, words, deeds and omissions, effectively upheld 7 heretical positions about marriage, the moral life, and the reception of the sacraments, and has caused these heretical opinions to spread in the Catholic Church. These 7 heresies are expressed by the signatories in Latin, the official language of the Church.

This letter of correction has 3 main parts. In the first part, the signatories explain why, as believing and practising Catholics, they have the right and duty to issue such a correction to the supreme pontiff. Church law itself requires that competent persons not remain silent when the pastors of the Church are misleading the flock. This involves no conflict with the Catholic dogma of papal infallibility, since the Church teaches that a pope must meet strict criteria before his utterances can be considered infallible. Pope Francis has not met these criteria. He has not declared these heretical positions to be definitive teachings of the Church, or stated that Catholics must believe them with the assent of faith. The Church teaches no pope can claim that God has revealed some new truth to him, which it would be obligatory for Catholics to believe.

The second part of the letter is the essential one, since it contains the ‘Correction’ properly speaking. It lists the passages of Amoris laetitia in which heretical positions are insinuated or encouraged, and then it lists words, deeds, and omissions of Pope Francis which make it clear beyond reasonable doubt that he wishes Catholics to interpret these passages in a way that is, in fact, heretical. In particular, the pope has directly or indirectly countenanced the beliefs that obedience to God’s Law can be impossible or undesirable, and that the Church should sometimes accept adultery as compatible with being a practising Catholic.

The final part, called ‘Elucidation’, discusses two causes of this unique crisis. One cause is ‘Modernism’. Theologically speaking, Modernism is the belief that God has not delivered definite truths to the Church, which she must continue to teach in exactly the same sense until the end of time. Modernists hold that God communicates to mankind only experiences., which human beings can reflect on, so as to make various statements about God, life and religion; but such statements are only provisional, never fixed dogmas. Modernism was condemned by Pope St Pius X at the start of the 20th century, but it revived in the middle of the century. The great and continuing confusion caused in the Catholic Church by Modernism obliges the signatories to describe the true meaning of ‘faith’, ‘heresy’, ‘revelation’, and ‘magisterium’.

A second cause of the crisis is the apparent influence of the ideas of Martin Luther on Pope Francis. The letter shows how Luther, the founder of Protestantism, had ideas on marriage, divorce, forgiveness, and divine law which correspond to those which the pope has promoted by word, deed and omission. It also notes the explicit and unprecedented praise given by Pope Francis to the German heresiarch.

The signatories do not venture to judge the degree of awareness with which Pope Francis has propagated the 7 heresies which they list. But they respectfully insist that he condemn these heresies, which he has directly or indirectly upheld.

The signatories profess their loyalty to the holy Roman Church, assure the pope of their prayers, and ask for his apostolic blessing.

Correctio filialis de haeresibus propagatis

July 16th, 2017
Feast of our Lady of Mt Carmel
Most Holy Father,
With profound grief, but moved by fidelity to our Lord Jesus Christ, by love for the Church and for the papacy, and by filial devotion toward yourself, we are compelled to address a correction to Your Holiness on account of the propagation of heresies effected by the apostolic exhortation Amoris laetitia and by other words, deeds and omissions of Your Holiness.

We are permitted to issue this correction by natural law, by the law of Christ, and by the law of the Church, which three things Your Holiness has been appointed by divine providence to guard. By natural law: for as subjects have by nature a duty to obey their superiors in all lawful things, so they have a right to be governed according to law, and therefore to insist, where need be, that their superiors so govern. By the law of Christ: for His Spirit inspired the apostle Paul to rebuke Peter in public when the latter did not act according to the truth of the gospel (Gal. 2). St Thomas Aquinas notes that this public rebuke from a subject to a superior was licit on account of the imminent danger of scandal concerning the faith (Summa Theologiae 2a 2ae, 33, 4 ad 2), and ‘the gloss of St Augustine’ adds that on this occasion, “Peter gave an example to superiors, that if at any time they should happen to stray from the straight path, they should not disdain to be reproved by their subjects” (ibid.). The law of the Church also constrains us, since it states that “Christ’s faithful . . . have the right, indeed at times the duty, in keeping with their knowledge, competence, and position, to manifest to the sacred pastors their views on matters which concern the good of the Church” (Code of Canon Law 212:2-3; Code of Canons of Oriental Churches 15:3).

Scandal concerning faith and morals has been given to the Church and to the world by the publication ofAmoris laetitia and by other acts through which Your Holiness has sufficiently made clear the scope and purpose of this document. Heresies and other errors have in consequence spread through the Church; for while some bishops and cardinals have continued to defend the divinely revealed truths about marriage, the moral law, and the reception of the sacraments, others have denied these truths, and have received from Your Holiness not rebuke but favour. Those cardinals, by contrast, who have submitted dubia to Your Holiness, in order that by this time-honoured method the truth of the gospel might be easily affirmed, have received no answer but silence.

Most Holy Father, the Petrine ministry has not been entrusted to you that you might impose strange doctrines on the faithful, but so that you may, as a faithful steward, guard the deposit against the day of the Lord’s return (Lk. 12; 1 Tim. 6:20). We adhere wholeheartedly to the doctrine of papal infallibility as defined by the First Vatican Council, and therefore we adhere to the explanation which that same council gave of this charism, which includes this declaration: “The Holy Spirit was not promised to the successors of Peter that they might, by His revelation, make known some new doctrine, but that, by His assistance, they might religiously guard and faithfully expound the revelation or deposit of faith transmitted by the apostles” (Pastor aeternus, cap. 4). For this reason, Your Predecessor, Blessed Pius IX, praised the collective declaration of the German bishops, who noted that “the opinion according to which the pope is ‘an absolute sovereign because of his infallibility’ is based on a completely false understanding of the dogma of papal infallibility.”

...

THE SEVEN BERGOGLIAN HERESIES

CORRECTIO
By words, deeds, and omissions, and by passages of the document 'Amoris
laetitia,' Your Holiness has upheld, directly or indirectly, and, with what degree of awareness we do not seek to judge, both by public office and by private act propagated in the Churchthe following false and heretical propositions:
1. "A justified person has not the strength with God’s grace to carry out the objective demands of the divine law, as though any of the commandments of God are impossible for the justified; or as meaning that God’s grace, when it produces justification in an individual, does not invariably and of its nature produce conversion from all serious sin, or is not sufficient for conversion from all serious sin."
2. "Christians who have obtained a civil divorce from the spouse to whom they are validly married and have contracted a civil marriage with some other person during the lifetime of their spouse, who live 'more uxorio' with their civil partner, and who choose to remain in this state with full knowledge of the nature of their act and full consent of the will to that act, are not necessarily in a state of mortal sin, and can receive sanctifying grace and grow in charity."
3. "A Christian believer can have full knowledge of a divine law and voluntarily choose to break it in a serious matter, but not be in a state of mortal sin as a result of this action."
4. "A person is able, while he obeys a divine prohibition, to sin against God by that very act of obedience."
5. "Conscience can truly and rightly judge that sexual acts between persons who have contracted a civil marriage with each other, although one or both of them is sacramentally married to another person, can sometimes be morally right or requested or even commanded by God."
6. "Moral principles and moral truths contained in divine revelation and in the natural law do not include negative prohibitions that absolutely forbid particular kinds of action, inasmuch as these are always gravely unlawful on account of their object."
7. "Our Lord Jesus Christ wills that the Church abandon her perennial discipline of refusing the Eucharist to the divorced and remarried and of refusing absolution to the divorced and remarried who do not express contrition for their state of life and a firm purpose of amendment with regard to it."
These propositions all contradict truths that are divinely revealed, and that Catholics must believe with the assent of divine faith. […] It is necessary for the good of souls that they be once more condemned by the authority of the Church. In listing these seven propositions we do not intend to give an exhaustive list of all the heresies and errors which an unbiased reader, attempting to read 'Amoris laetitia' in its natural and obvious sense, would plausibly take to be affirmed, suggested or favoured by this document. Rather, we seek to list the propositions which Your Holiness's words, deeds and omissions have in effect upheld and propagated, to the great and imminent danger of souls.
At this critical hour, therefore, we turn to the "cathedra veritatis," the Roman Church, which has by divine law pre-eminence over all the churches, and of which we are and intend always to remain loyal children, and we respectfully insist that Your Holiness publicly reject these propositions, thus accomplishing the mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ given to St Peter and through him to all his successors until the end of the world: "I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren."
We respectfully ask for Your Holiness’s apostolic blessing, with the assurance of our filial devotion in our Lord and of our prayer for the welfare of the Church.

Taking a closer look at the Holy Moly Doors of Our Lady of Sorrows Toronto; or, What Does the Door Really Say?

You might remember this story about the Holy Moly Doors at Our Lady of Sorrows parish in Toronto. Some wealthy friends of the parish put up over $400,000.00 for new bronze doors created by the studio of Ernesto Lamagna

http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2016/01/the-holy-moly-doors-at-torontos-our.html

http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2016/01/part-second-on-40000000-plus-shipping.html

On the exterior of the doors is a relief of St. Michael the Archangel slaying Satan. On the inside is a rather hideous art of a decapitated and dismembered Christ.

There is an inscription on each door below the sculpture, it is the same on each. Can you read it?

Let's look at where it is from.

It is a phrase from the Lamentations of the Prophet Jeremiah, 1:12, and is used in the Tenebrae Responsories for Good Friday, the whole scriptural phrase being.

"O all ye that pass by the way, attend, and see if there be any sorrow like to my sorrow."

One will also hear this in Handel's Messiah from the tenor aria:

"Behold, and see, if there be any sorrow like unto his sorrow."

So, what is the issue? Well, let us look at the Latin of the most sublime motet composed by Tomas Luis do Victoria, O Vox Omnes from Matins of Good Friday which contains the whole phrase from whence the inscription comes.

"O vos omnes, qui transitis per viam: attendite et videte si est dolor sicut dolor meus. Attendite, universi populi, et videte dolorem meum. Si est dolor similis sicut dolor meus."
Now, going back to the inscription on those Holy Moly Doors, we ask the question, "What does the door really say?

"VIDITE!"

Really?

For $400,000.00 you would think they would have spelt it correctly.

At least the The Sixteen got it right.

Bergoglio's overreach with the tolerance of perverts exposes his hypocrisy. Is James Martin next?

There were remarks made yesterday by Jorge Bergoglio, the man thrust upon the Chair of St. Peter by malefactors, on the matter of child abuse. Edward Pentin reported on Twitter that the Vatican media were instructed only to report the "prepared text" on the abuse of minors. The Bergoglian regime has learnt well from Peron on the manipulation of the truth and the control of the message. Too bad it can't hide from Internet reality. After some blowback they relented that the casual remarks would need to be vetted. Such fools.

Let us be perfectly clear on the matter of child sexual abuse in the Church. While there has been some despicable sexual abuse of girls, the overwhelming majority has been due to the admission of sodomites - homosexuals into the priesthood. These perverts came in to the priesthood to put then in close contact with their potential victims, with the indisputable facts that show that these victims were post-pubescent boys between thirteen and seventeen years. It is the age perversion of hebephilia and ephebophilia.

In the "off-the-cuff" that was probably intended not to be reported, La Stampa writes that Bergoglio stated that the he has never "signed a request for grace," in the matter of abusers.

Well, history seems to show something different and even the National Catholic Reporter did its homework back at the time.

Let us re recall then, the case of Mauro Inzoli, a notorious sodomite who infiltrated his way into the priesthood of Christ in order to find his young male victims with which he could enjoy his sexual deviance, Known as "Don Mercedes" after his love of luxury, this filthy sodomite was found out, Pope Benedict XVI defrocked him, only to see this Bergoglio come along and retract Benedict's decision and reinstate the carbuncle on the Body of Christ. That was until it was found out and the pervert priest Inzoli did it again and Bergoglio had to defrock the cretin again.

The Catholic New Service  translation states Bergoglio did say that he has "never and would never grant a papal pardon to a proven perpetrator."

But this is not true as we've seen above, to say nothing of Msgr. Ricca caught with his boy-toy in an elevator. The tolerance of the situation in Chile, Danneels and how many others?

http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2015/03/has-pope-francis-appointed-homosexual.html

http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2013/06/bishops-take-lead-marching-into-hell.html

http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2015/03/holy-father-why-have-you-allowed-this.html

http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2017/02/pervert-protecting-bergoglio-betrays.html

http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2017/03/the-fraud-of-pope-francis-and-vaticans.html

How many more examples are necessary to show the hypocrisy of Bergoglio?

Apparently, he also stated that he has been learning “on the job” better ways to handle priests found guilty of abuse. He actually recounted the Don Mercedes situation and that his made a "decision he has now come to regret: that of agreeing to a more lenient sanction against an Italian priest, rather than laicizing him as the doctrinal team recommended."

Is this the closest that the victims and the faithful will get to an apology from Father Bergoglio.

What it really shows is his own pathetic arrogance, his own delusion of grandeur of the "merciful Francis." He has overreached on his manufactured mercy and it has come up an bitten him harshly.

It is not beyond question that the pathetic and scandalous tweeting and articles of Bergoglio's fellow Jesuit, James Martin, is going to blow up right in his face. The overreaching by both of these pathetic men cannot continue.

The Bergoglian enshrinement of the heresy of Amoris Laetitia as doctrine

"Doctrine changes when pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge."

The occupant of St. Peter's Chair in Rome has issued another motu proprio today; this one, renaming and reconstituting the John Paul Institute on Marriage and the Family to be one of "sciences."

The war against the faith has taken another step.

Humanae vitae is on the chopping block.

The cardinals and bishop alive today that refuse to challenge this destruction are going to be held accountable before God for the betrayal. We have been deserted by filthy rats who call us a "cancer."

They are the cancer.

Persecution of Catholics on the uptick by the Bergoglian regime - now we are a "cancer"

In what can only be described as a regime rather than a papacy, it is quite obvious to all that are prepared to take their heads out of the sand that it is open season on faithful Catholics.

We see an unending and almost obsessive stream of publicity from the homosexualist James Martin, S.J., and a string of supporters lined up behind him including now Robert McElroy, Bishop of San Diego. This McElroy puts forward the notion that one who upholds the Catholic truth, that sodomitical acts are grievous sins in the eyes of God and one of the four sins which "cry out to heaven for justice," are a "cancer" in the Church and opposed to Pope Francis.

Can you imagine that a Bishop of the Catholic Church of Christ would write this?

It would be too easy to say that Robert McElroy is badly-formed or deluded. No; the man is a bishop, he is educated he can only be described as evil, a wolf, a son of Satan, he is not a true shepherd of Jesus Christ. Robert McElroy is a man that is going to Hell for the souls he is leading there.

If you are a cancer call McElroy and let him know at 858-490-8300.

What these filthy malefactors are doing is, as Father Zed calls it, outright "bullying."

I stand with Jesus Christ, and His Church and its magisterial teaching over time. I do not stand with a pope, bishop or priest who does not. If this puts this writer against the current claimant to the Chair of Peter, then so be it.

Professor Claudio Pierantoni is a scholar of patristics and professor of medieval philosophy at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago. In this report on LifeSiteNews, Pierantoni explores the dismissal of Dr. Josef Siefert from the Catholic university at Granada, in Spain. He writes of this as an "official persecution" under the regime of Jorge Bergoglio.

Make no mistake, this is true in every way and I can speak of this personally and directly some of which has been made public on this blog and much of which cannot be made public. It is diabolical, hypocritical and deceitful and I can assure you, they will not triumph.

Let it be clear to Martin, McElroy, Bergoglio, Spadaro, Maradiaga and the rest of these malefactors, - we're not going anywhere and we are on the side of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We will not leave our Holy Mother, the Church, we will not abandon Her and, with the help of God, we will defeat you.

These filthy priests and prelates must repent and do reparation before it is too late. Their judgement will be swift, severe and eternal.

Congratulations to LifeSiteNews, Church Militant and Father Z - James Martin, S.J. says it's all your fault

Little Jimmy Martin of the homosexualist infiltrated Society of Jesus is having a hissy-fit. Jimmy is lashing out irrationally at the good folks at LifeSiteNews, Michael Voris and the team at Church Militant, and of all people, Father John Zuhlsdorf.

Perhaps Jim ought to see in this that his dissent and diabolical embrace of sodomy as a "differently ordered" act of God, is what has caused Catholics to rise up and say to this errant priest and those who would give him a platform, "enough.!"

The two recent examples of cancellations have shown us that we cannot stop in our opposition to the rampant and vicious actions of these malefactors and their hatred of Christ and His Church.

This is not the time to let up, but the time to "double-down."

As for this errant priest, he needs to seclude himself in a monastery for a life of repentance, prayer and reparation for the souls he has aided in their descent to Hell and to save His own from being there.

Dear friends: Theologica College, the seminary at The Catholic University of America, in Washington, DC, today cancelled a talk I was to give on Alumni Day, on Oct. 4, thanks to a campaign by Church Militant, the priest known as "Father Z" and Lifesite News.
That campaign caused a storm of phone calls, emails and messages to Theological College, which included, I was told, people screaming at the receptionists who answered the phone. In the end, they felt that the expected protests and negative publicity would distract from Alumni Day.
This follows the cancellation of another lecture at the Annual Investiture Dinner of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre in New York City, scheduled on Oct. 21. The organizers told me that they had received angry emails and calls from several members of the Order, most of whom, they believed, were encouraged to protest thanks to another campaign initiated by Church Militant, which you can see here: https://www.churchmilitant.com/…/episode/vortex-unbelievable
As an aside, a few years ago I was invited to join the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, but couldn't because of its steep entrance fee. Also, Catholic University hosted me for a talk, one of a few that I have given there, just last year.
That follows an earlier cancellation of a lecture in London for Cafod (Catholic International Development Charity in England) which was scheduled for the third week in October.
Each of these cancellations was a result of anger or fear over my book "Building a Bridge," about LGBT Catholics. The book has the formal approval (the "Imprimi Potest") of my Jesuit Provincial, the Very Rev. John Cecero, SJ; and has been endorsed by Cardinal Joseph Tobin, Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Archbishop John Wester, Bishop Robert McElroy and Bishop John Stowe.
In the case of Theological College, the fears were of angry protesters disrupting their Alumni Day. In the case of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre Dinner, it was anger from some members over the topic of LGBT Catholics. In the case of Cafod lecture in London, it was not a response to any campaign but fear that my presence itself would garner negative attention, after the group had recently faced other similar problems. In none of these cases was the local ordinary--in each a cardinal--in any way advocating for the cancellation of the talk. The impetus was purely from those social media sites.
I have asked each organization to be honest about the reasons for these cancellations. That is, I told them I did not want to lie and say, "I withdrew" or "I declined" or "I was afraid to come."
So I share with you as much as I can in the interests of transparency, which we need in our church. And to show you the outsize influence of social media sites motivated by fear, hatred and homophobia.
For my part, I bear no ill will to Theological College, Catholic University, the Order of the Holy Sepulchre or Cafod. The organizers were all apologetic and in some cases more upset than I was. I know that they were under extreme pressure, and in some cases were overwhelmed by the rage that can be generated by social media: ill will based on misrepresentations, innuendos, homophobia and especially fear. Perfect love drives out fear, as 1 John says. But perfect fear also drives out love.
Also, I want to say that none of these cancellations disturbs me. I've not lost any sleep over them. (The outsize influence of social media sites that traffic in homophobia, specialize in personal attacks, and whips up hatred another matter. This is disturbing and should be disturbing to all of us. It is not coming from God.)
And there will be many other venues. In fact, after the talk in DC was cancelled, Holy Trinity Church in DC invited me to deliver a lecture a few days before the planned Theological College event was to occur, on Sept. 30. So I look forward to seeing you all in Washington.
I'm also happy to say that a revised and expanded version of "Building a Bridge," with a new introduction, more stories drawn from my encounters with LGBT people, more insights from church leaders, and more biblical meditations, will be published early next year.
Last night at the University of Scranton, after the talk to the incoming freshmen, a mother approached the book-signing table, and started to cry when she talked about her gay son and what the book had meant to her. And I told her that her tears put any opposition in perspective.
Because what is opposition next to the love of Jesus? It is nothing.
I also have the support of my Jesuit Provincial, my Jesuit brothers, and two cardinals and several bishops who endorsed my book (as well as many other cardinals, archbishops and bishops who have contacted me privately). Most of all, I want to say that Jesus is close to me in prayer.
So I am at total peace.
A final note: all of the talks that were cancelled--at Theological College, at the Order of the Holy Sepulchre Investiture Dinner, and at Cafod, were not about LGBT Catholics. They were about Jesus.
