Rosica Alert: "Pope Francis IS the new evangelisation" - silly Catholic, you thought it was all about Christ!

I've written it before, sometimes this blog just writes itself. No sooner did I write in the post below about "the Rosicas of the world" who perpetuate the narrative myth about the positive outcomes of the "Francis Effect," comes this little gem by no less than Tom Rosica, himself.

We call these moments of theological and communicative  brilliance, "Rosicanisms."

Perhaps, rather than conjecture and anecdotes, Tom Rosica, a member of the collapsing Basilian Congregation and the Executive Producer of the little watched and less relevant, Salt + Light Television, and not so-regular Vatican spox anymore, might wish to put forward some scientific research about how that "new evangelization" is actually going.

The latest research is that attendance at Holy Mass and the sacraments, the only true measurement of Catholic practice is plummeting. This is true in North America and in Europe where the Church continues to bleed adherents, Mass attendees and paying out damages to victims of priests for buggery and the bishops who covered it up.

Yet, Father Rosica, coined the phrase, "The Francis Effect." We, here at Vox, know more about "The Rosica Effect," which continues to improve every day.

He continues to try to convince one and all that the Pope is actually bringing people back to the Church, back to Christ. You would have to be an idiot to actually think this is happening. Has anyone seen the crowds at the Vatican lately? It was said, that in the past, people "came to see John Paul II but to hear Benedict XVI" as a way of describing the enormous crowds who came to listen to them proclaim Christ. The people aren't stupid, they know when they are being sold a bowl of rotten fruit based on the Masonic ideals of "dialogue" and "encounter."

Rosica states that the "pope isn't inventing new doctrines." But readers to Vox know this well, that is not how doctrine is invented, is it?

"Will this Pope re-write controversial Church doctrines? No. But that isn't how doctrine changes. Doctrine changes when pastoral contexts shift and new insights emerge such that particularly doctrinal formulations no longer mediate the saving message of God's transforming love. Doctrine changes when the Church has leaders and teachers who are not afraid to take note of new contexts and emerging insights. It changes when the Church has pastors who do what Francis has been insisting: leave the securities of your chanceries, of your rectories, of your safe places, of your episcopal residences go set aside the small minded rules that often keep you locked up and shielded from the world."

With that quote, (originating at the NCReporter) Father Thomas J. Rosica, on numerous occasions, laid out the plans of the Synod on the Family. A fact that is now so well known as we have conclusive proof that Francis himself favours the sacrilege of Holy Communion for adulterers. A disgraceful position for the Vicar of Christ, a scandal to the faithful and a betrayal of Our Lord.

If Father Rosica and Jorge Bergoglio wish to fill the Churches (with paying fans),  it’s not going to be by postulating the papolatry of Francis as the new evangelisation come to earth and his "god of surprises."

Pope Francis 'IS the new evangelization'
Friday, September 30, 2016

Basilian Father Thomas Rosica, English-language assistant to the Vatican press office and CEO of Canada’s Salt and Light Media Foundation, spoke to Pittsburgh clergy in West Virginia.

WHEELING, W.Va. — Pope Francis is reaching people whose hearts and minds had been closed to the church because he demonstrates the humility and mercy of Jesus, Father Thomas Rosica told the priests of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, who gathered Oct. 19-22 for their triennial multi-day convocation at Oglebay Park.
“He IS the new evangelization,” said Father Rosica, CEO of the Salt and Light Television Network in Canada and English language assistant of the Holy See Press Office. “You can read all the theoretical texts that there are on the new evangelization. But if you want to see it in Technicolor, look at him.”
The theme of the convocation was “Prophets of a future not our own: Leading with confidence in a time of transition.” It was intended to help prepare priests for the transformation of their parishes and ministry through On Mission for The Church Alive! There were workshops and question-and-answer sessions related to On Mission, as well as opportunities for prayer and recreation.
Father Rosica’s keynote presentations set the tone by emphasizing how Pope Francis helps others to encounter Jesus.
Other popes saw early glowing media coverage quickly turn to scorn. That is not happening with this pope, Father Rosica said.
“Honeymoons don’t last this long,” he said. “We are not in a honeymoon period right now. We are really in the period of the new evangelization.”
People who sit near Father Rosica on airplanes used to tell him their complaints about the church; now they talk about how much they love Pope Francis, he said. When someone asked him to hear a confession mid-flight in the galley, he asked what had prompted the urgent request.
“We just saw the pope on television,” the person said.
Some priests have complained that Pope Francis has been harsh on clergy, with his criticism of clericalism. Instead, “he is the best agent we have working for us,” Father Rosica said. “We have a pope who is preoccupied with mercy, compassion and love.”
Last year when Pope Francis addressed the U.S. Congress, Father Rosica assisted news media at the Capitol. As the pope spoke, the representative of a major network tapped him on the shoulder and asked, “Father, is it normal that most of us are crying right now?”
Father Rosica looked around and saw news producers and burly cameramen with tears streaming down their faces.
This has happened despite the fact that Pope Francis has been very direct in offering the church’s critique of issues such as abortion and same-sex marriage, Father Rosica said.
“In a relatively short time at the helm of the Catholic Church he has effectively opened up gates of communication that have been effectively cloistered and closed for generations,” he said. Although the media sometimes publish distortions based on their own wishful thinking, “the world is listening and watching because he models a solid consistency.”
The pope isn’t inventing new doctrines, but he is applying the teachings of his predecessors and of Vatican II to new questions, Father Rosica said. And he is able to articulate those teachings in language that speaks directly to people’s hearts, he said. Although he hasn’t changed its content or mission, “Francis is rebranding Catholicism and the papacy,” Father Rosica said.
“Francis is giving us the (Vatican II) council and helping us to appreciate the great themes that were announced there and how do we apply them to the questions of today ... For those who have dismissed the council — and some have — Francis has said, ‘Do not dismiss it. We do not need to go for a Vatican III, IV and V. We need to go back to Vatican II.”

Forget the Francis Effect, go with Khalilah

As time moves on, more and more Catholics are coming to the realisation of what is happening in the Church. Even the secular media, has begun to notice.

The Rosicas of the world can keep perpetuating the narrative of the France Effect. What is this Francis Effect? Is his reaching out filling the pews, the RCIA's, the Confessional line?

That is not my experience. In fact, it is the opposite.

What is yours? Are people coming back to your parishes because of the Francis Effect?

Carl. E. Olson of  Catholic World Report has much to say.

The Bergoglian Mafiosi is taking vengeance

A few weeks ago, we were told by about the blowback to the 45 theologian and academics who wrote to the Cardinals of the Church seeking intervention on Amoris Laetitia. At that time, I proffered that Bergoglio's minions were settling the score. Here is more proof of what is happening. It turns out that Dr. Joseph Shaw, the original spokesman of the group, has become one of the Bergoglio mafia's victims.

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/signatories-feeling-the-heat-over-request-for-clarification-on-amoris-laeti
Image result for joseph shaw latin mass"LifeSiteNews has gathered information – confirmed by several of the signatories, including the spokesperson, Dr. Joseph Shaw – that one signatory, who is well known internationally,  has lost his position as a director of academic affairs at a Pontifical university.
Another was threatened by his bishop that his academic sabbatical would be canceled, but he found another bishop willing to allow him to begin the process of incardination in his diocese.
Yet another has been forbidden to speak publicly about Amoris Laetitia, and another has been told to rescind his signature.
And a Cardinal put pressure on one of the signatories to withdraw his name.
Two clear conclusions can be drawn: first, many of the suffering parties are under pressure not by remote institutions but by high-ranking individuals in the hierarchy. Second, the scholars’ document has opened the discussion on a wide public field and given rise to similar demands by individuals and groups."

A price is to be paid by all of us who stand up for Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church and the Truth against these pathetic prelates and hangers on. When I meet him, I would rather say that I am sorry I was too harsh on this blog and beg His forgiveness. I would say that I did it out of love for Him and His Church. I shudder to have to explain to Him that I did nothing with the gifts he gave me, other than to bury them in the ground.

I have no doubt the 45 feel the same about not burying their talents.

On this Feast of St. Michael, St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto is rededicated

To write a history of this Cathedral of St. Michael, in Toronto, would take much time; I will be necessarily brief.

Bishop Michael Power
Toronto was a city of Irish immigrants from the famine. Michael Power was appointed our first bishop. At that time, there was one Archdiocese from Kingston, at the eastern part of Lake Ontario, all the way to Windsor, across the river from Detroit. Bishop Power commissioned the new gothic revival cathedral and laid the cornerstone on this date in 1848. He died of typhus after attending to the suffering Irish and did not live to see it completed. Toronto was known as the Belfast of North America. Catholics were hated. A good, brief history is written by the Bear over at the Spirit's Sword.  It was the "gangs of New York" on a smaller scale. Even back then, Toronto, or York as it was known, was always trying to emulate the Big Apple.

Those familiar with the recent renovations at St. Patrick's in New York will note quite the difference here.  There was little money when St. Michael's was built, the population of Irish was dirt poor, having just arrived. They may not have been much better off in New York but they had a few more years to establish and a many, many more faithful.

Msgr. John Edward Ronan
The Cathedral became the home of the renowned St. Michael's Cathedral Schola, now literally Choir School. Founded by the late Monsignor John Edward Ronan, pictured at left, the school, throughout the liturgical insanity of the last fifty years still maintained Gregorian propers, sung Latin polyphony Masses and motets, every single Sunday. The school was founded in 1937 and is one of the few in the world affiliated with Rome's Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music.

Whether they have or not, usually not, liturgical musicians in Toronto are always able to look to the choir school for the standard they should follow. Msgr. Ronan stove to raise the liturgical arts in the Archdiocese to fulfil St. Pius X's vision as articulated in Tra le sollecitudini and to break out from the Sunday Low Mass mentality, something which still presents a problem in more than one Sunday "EF" Mass community, right?

In the 1930's, the Cathedral underwent a "wreckovation" of sorts. That's right. A few decided then that the vision of the original gothic revival should be replaced and the ceilings were painted in rather gauche faux mosaics with saints appearing bursting on vaulting that actually covered and preserved the original. The area over the altar was given a romanesque touch with paintings of the life of Our Lord as if taken from some quite dated holy card. The rest of the ceiling was stenciled murals.

The high altar was lowered to not block the incredible east window some time in the 1950's. Alas, the the rector, or "wrecker," the late Auxiliary Bishop Pearce Lacey who told me himself, as I was driving him home, "I think we went too far," to which my response was, simply, "Yes, Your Excellency."

Lacey was responsible for the removal of the communion rail destruction of the 1950's era simply gothic reredos and altar  and installed a concrete hulk. If he could have, he would have whitewashed the rest. Lacey was empowered by then Archbishop Pocock to transform Toronto's churches into Vatican II "compliance." He was described to me by one who would know, as "ruthless" in his zeal to destroy that which came before, but I can tell you as he told me himself at the age of 94, "I think we went too far."

Image result for st michael's cathedral torontoA rector that undertook some sensitive restoration of sacred things, Altar, font, pulpit, tabernacle and a few other additions was the late Monsignor Kenneth Robitaille. He was also a great supporter of the Choir School unlike some who came after him who would opine, "what am I supposed to do while they're singing that Gloria!" Oh, I don't know, sit and pray it? Sheesh!

Under Cardinal Carter, the cathedral had a quick redo in 1984 because Pope John Paul II was coming, just a touching up of the existing paint. But there was something else happening in all of this time that nobody noticed or cared to notice.

St. Michael's was almost literally falling down. From the foundation to the tower.

Enter Thomas Cardinal Collins.

One day, he complained to the Rector about the condition of the once beautiful front doors. Overpainted, over varnished, neglected by all and beaten down by Toronto weather of damp and frigid winters, and hot and humid summers.

Ah, if it were only the doors.

Suffice to say, six years and $128,000,000.00 later, St. Michael's Cathedral will, today, be rededicated.

There was not a part of the building untouched. From the tower to the foundation. From the slate roof to the windows. Fire systems, water, heating and air, lighting, all the fundamental infrastructure. The best part is the return to the vision of the original neo-gothic design and new bespoke Casavant pipe organ to replace the decayed 1880 Karn. The most challenging and incredible achievement was the complete digging out of a full depth basement to construct washrooms and a crypt chapel from what was once a crawl space.

Even included were commissioned statues for exterior niches on the east and west facades the tower.

This Cathedral, and the beauty of its windows and the sounds of its choir, were instrumental in my return to the Catholic faith. I had left the Church and out for a jog one Saturday morning thirty five years ago, I entered it for the first time. I was overwhelmed with what I saw. I recalled the invitation in 1963 to attend Ronan's school which I was not able to do. My father, a good man but a bit of a worrier, would not let me travel the distance on a streetcar. Not long before her death, my mother apologised for not insisting on my acceptance of the invitation to attend the then, fully private choir school. Interestingly, and since the LORD does write with crooked lines, I do more in church music now than many of the boys who did go and left it all behind, and I told her that.

All the cathedral’s stained-glass windows were painstakingly restored, including this window depicting the Crowning of Mary.

The Catholic people of Toronto owe a debt of gratitude and prayers to Cardinal Collins. There were those who wanted it to "burn down." There were those who desired a new cathedral, some modernist hulk, no doubt.  It was this Cardinal Archbishop who fixed the mistakes of the past and made good to repair the literal neglect of his predecessors.

May the Lord bless Cardinal Collins for his vision; and may St. Michael protect him.

Cardinal Thomas Collins gets an up-close look at the cathedral’s starry ceiling.

May he be inspired to one day, go just a little bit further.

Look at Oscar Eduardo Miñarro - a new Bergoglian Bishop from Buenos Aires - believes embryos are not life and approves of "gay marriage!"

UPDATED: SEE BELOW

This is the newest Bergoglian Bishop.

Clearly, Redemptionis Sacramentum never made it to Argentina.

 Fracto demum sacramento,
ne vacilles, sed memento
tantum esse sub fragmento,
quantum toto tegitur.
Nulla rei fit scissura:
signi tantum fit fractura,
qua nec status, nec statura
signati minuitur.

Nor a single doubt retain,
when they break the Host in twain,
but that in each part remain
what was in the whole before;
For the outward sign alone
may some change have undergone,
while the Signified stays one,
and the same forevermore.

From the Corpus Christi sequence, Lauda Sion by St. Thomas Aquinas; but what did he know when you have men such as Miñarro who know better.

"The Holy Father has appointed Fr. Oscar Eduardo Miñarro as auxiliary bishop of Merlo-Moreno (area 301, population 1,051,000, Catholics 861,820, priests 59, permanent deacons 30, religious 198), Argentina. The bishop-elect was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1960 and was ordained a priest in 1995. He studied in the major seminary of Morón. He has served in a number of pastoral roles, including parish vicar, parish priest, dean, member of the diocesan pastoral council, member of the presbyteral council and the college of consultors, legal representative of various colleges and head of seminarians in the diocese. He is currently vicar general of the diocese of Merlo-Moreno and parish priest of Nuestra Señora de la Merced."

We are fortunate, in Canada, that most of our bishops, were renewed under Benedict XVI.

"... With the theme of the embryos, you're in a philosophical issue, not purely scientific. I think if we ask the question of when an embryo has life, are in a philosophical issue. What we can ask is that in philosophy there is no absolute truth. That what there are questions that generate different responses and that all can be acceptable to the extent that justify it . But who can say whether the embryo is alive or not? I think that neither religious nor scientific, it is a very complex thing. "
AND
"... Yes, I am in favor. Also, if I say that equal marriage is enacted, it will cease to exist by that? No, it will be the same. So if there is a situation, I have not favor that this situation is dignity for the people who are living? What favor greater integration in society? And I, as a church, I can not do also feel that God is with that situation?
(Mgr.) He opposes Arancedo saying that marriage should be between two different sexes by natural complementarity of man and woman ... If he makes a philosophical approach is understandable from the philosophical. I can agree or disagree, but if I put myself in the same rigid position'm being like him. The risk of these discussions is intolerance in general. I blame Arancedo intolerant and full of epithets descalificativos showing my intolerance. In those things not business: if I am tolerant I am tolerant, and if not, not. It is a different, thought justified. I do not accept it is that thought is imposed for all.
In that sense we could say that progress is being made in degrees of tolerance because, for example, recognizes the right to marry to same-sex ... "
AND
- "Review of lifestyles that separate the priests of the village, including work clothes, mandatory celibacy, house, poverty ...worship...
- Review of the liturgy to achieve creative inculturation that allows the people, particularly the poor, the experience as their own language to approach God;
-Review Which mainly calls to priests, recalling that the centrality must be placed in the kingdom and evangelization rather than worship;
-Review Of all spirituality that is not a real walk in the Spirit but platonic evasion and bring to put one ear in the Gospel and an ear in the heart of the people ".

Pope Francis' Sustainable Travel Agency - Franchises available now!

What is more ridiculous, the following tweet by Pope Francis from earlier this day, (September 27), or that nearly 9,000 people liked it?

It seems that the "god of surprises" has grown stale and dialogue, dialogue, dialogue, is passé. The new word is "encounter." Yes, encounter with peoples, that is all we hear.

How is that the Pope can think that Tweeting about "sustainable tourism" is something that the Church of Christ should be talking about.

Is it him? Is he really sitting at his computer Tweeting out this bile in multiple languages? Does he write these little points of theological brilliance every day for the communications department to send out? Or is he being ill-served by corrupted minions around him who have a globalist, Marxist, Masonic agenda.

Enough of Popes on Twitter.

I long to hear this Pope Tweet this:

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the World. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Come to Him, Come to His Holy Catholic Church and live!

To those in the Vatican who stop by: you're welcome, you may use it without accreditation.

Are you a faithful, God-loving, God-fearing "Fixated" Catholic? Then Bergoglio has some words for you!

What does our good Pope Francis mean by this statement?
“It is by loving that the God-who-is-Love is proclaimed to the world: not by the power of convincing, never by imposing the truth, no less by growing fixated on some religious or moral obligation,”
Did I read that correctly? "growing fixated on some religious or moral obligation,”

Ah, you mean like these?

  1. I am the LORD your God. You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.
  2. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
  5. You shall not kill.
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
  7. You shall not steal.
  8. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
  9. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife.
  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.
What a bunch of relativistic Jesuitical bile!

Image result for pope francis smiling

God is love? Yes, God is also Truth. God is Mercy. God is Justice.

The Bishop of Rome also goes on to say:
“We are called always to live out and proclaim the newness of the Lord’s love: 'Jesus truly loves you, just as you are. Give him space: in spite of the disappointments and wounds in your life, give him the chance to love you. He will not disappoint you,'”
Yes, "Jesus loves you, just as you are" but Jesus does not expect you to stay, where you are!

Accordingly, if Francis is correct, then abortion is okay, contraception is okay, fornication, adultery, masturbation, pornography, homosexuality and lesbianism, murder, thievery, failure to hear Mass on Sundays, and on, and on, and on, ...

This man's theology is daft. I once gave him the benefit of the doubt, that he was suffering some form of dementia. No, not any more. He really does believe this bile he spouts.

He is confusing Catholics around the world. How sorry I feel for those Catholics trapped in Novus Ordo ignorance who fall for the blathering, bombastic theological abuses emanating from the mouth of this Bergoglio.

Bishops! Cardinals!

Where are you?

Francis and computer keyboards

Nah, it couldn't be.

It couldn't be that the Pope read this blog post which was from last Sunday.

And then went to Assisi and said this:

Prayer and concrete acts of cooperation help us to break free from the logic of conflict and to reject the rebellious attitudes of those who know only how to protest and be angry. Prayer and the desire to work together are directed towards a true peace that is not illusory…it is not the virtual approach of one who judges everything and everyone using a computer keyboard, without opening his eyes to the needs of his brothers and sisters, and dirtying his hands for those in need…Peace means Welcome, openness to dialogue, the overcoming of closed-mindedness, which is not a strategy for safety, but rather a bridge over an empty space.” Francis in Assisi

Nah, it could't be.

Well, then again...

"You only need a keyboard, a screen or a hand-held device. In the wild, crazy world of the blogosphere, ... there is no accountability, no code of ethics, and no responsibility for one’s words and actions.  It can be an international weapon of mass destruction, crossing time zones, borders and space. In its wake is character assassination, destruction of reputation, calumny, libel, slander and defamation. ...“Catholics” have turned the Internet into a cesspool of hatred, venom and vitriol, ... character assassination on the Internet by those claiming to be Catholic and Christian has turned it into a graveyard of corpses strewn all around. Often times the obsessed, scrupulous, self-appointed, nostalgia-hankering virtual guardians of faith or of liturgical practices are very disturbed, broken and angry individuals, who never found a platform or pulpit in real life and so resort to the Internet and become trolling pontiffs and holy executioners! In reality they are deeply troubled, sad and angry people." Rosica in Brooklyn

I guess Tom's got a new job as the Papal Speechwriter.

Perhaps, Tom; you can explain what Papa Bergoglio meant when he called people "self-absorbed, Promethean, neo-Pelagians." That sounds pretty "angry."

A Liber of Accusation - Part I, II and now III

The laity are rising up.

The Remnant and Catholic Family News have laid it all out.

Part I, is excerpted below.

Part II and now Part III are released and linked as follows:

How utterly tragic that it is laity, who will now have wrath poured out upon them, who must constantly call out the insanity emanating from Rome.

With Burning Concern: We Accuse Pope Francis
Written by The Remnant and Catholic Family News
September 19, 2016
Feast of Saint Januarius in the Month of Our Lady of Sorrows

Your Holiness:
The following narrative, written in our desperation as lowly members of the laity, is what we must call an accusation concerning your pontificate, which has been a calamity for the Church in proportion to which it delights the powers of this world. The culminating event that impelled us to take this step was the revelation of your “confidential” letter to the bishops of Buenos Aires authorizing them, solely on the basis of your own views as expressed in Amoris Laetitia, to admit certain public adulterers in “second marriages” to the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion without any firm purpose of amending their lives by ceasing their adulterous sexual relations.

You have thus defied the very words of Our Lord Himself condemning divorce and “remarriage” as adultery per se without exception, the admonition of Saint Paul on the divine penalty for unworthy reception of the Blessed Sacrament, the teaching of your two immediate predecessors in line with the bimillennial moral doctrine and Eucharistic discipline of the Church rooted in divine revelation, the Code of Canon Law and all of Tradition.

You have already provoked a fracturing of the Church’s universal discipline, with some bishops maintaining it despite Amoris Laetitia while others, including those in Buenos Aires, are announcing a change based solely on the authority of your scandalous “apostolic exhortation.” Nothing like this has ever happened in the history of the Church.

The complete Accusation can be read at:

Archbishop Paul-Andre Durocher - You have your reward!

Again, one doesn't need go far these days to figure out what to blog about. There are enough clowns in clerics that it just sort of writes itself.

During the Synod on the Family last October, Paul-Andre Durocher, the Archbishop of Hull, in Quebec, a dying Diocese with no vocations and empty churches, pushed the idea of women deacons.

We reported on that back then. What that had to do with a Synod on the Family is still not comprehensible.

The National "Catholic" Reporter, a newspaper that is still in defiance with the use of Catholic in its masthead, is granting our boy Durocher, an award. Catholic Intelligence Blog has broken the story.

What is it with these priests and bishops and awards?
“I know that I am being given this award because of my intervention at the Synod last October inviting my brother bishops to study the question of women being ordained to the permanent diaconate,” Durocher wrote. “This was one of a few proposals I made to recognize the gifts that women can bring to leadership and teaching functions within the Church. The heart of my intervention considered the ongoing violence perpetrated by men against their spouses in a conjugal relationship.
So, we need Deaconettes because some guys beat their wives?

UPDATE:

I am privileged to have some excellent commenters and I am thankful for this link and reminder.

http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_19860725_carlo-curran_en.html
The several dissenting positions which this Congregation contested, namely, on a right to public dissent from the ordinary Magisterium, the indissolubility of consummated sacramental marriage, abortion, euthanasia, masturbation, artificial contraception, premarital intercourse and homosexual acts, were listed carefully enough in the above-mentioned observations in July of 1983 and have since been published. There is no point in entering into any detail concerning the fact that you do indeed dissent on these issues.
It is the condemnation by the Pope John Paul II himself under the pen of then Cardinal Ratzinger of the heretical Charles Curran.

Why would Archbishop Durocher consent to be involved with any conference that also features Curran?

A case of birds of a feather, no doubt.

What a curse we Catholics in Canada must endure from these unfaithful, arrogant, emasculated overseers. They don't deserve our respect.

Never has the expression, "he has his reward" been more apt.

FutureChurch honors Canadian archbishop for advancing discussion of women's leadership

Women deacons

A Canadian archbishop will be recognized in Cleveland Thursday for his efforts in advancing the discussion of female deacons and promoting female leadership within the Catholic church.
FutureChurch [1] -- a Catholic reform organization that advocates for more collaborative and inclusive structures in the church -- will Sept. 22 present Archbishop Paul-André Durocher of the Gatineau diocese with the Father Louis J. Trivison Award at its 26th Annual Fall Benefit in Cleveland, Ohio.
FutureChurch is honoring Durocher for what it called "his visionary proposal during the 2015 Family Synod in Rome calling on bishops to discuss women deacons and expand leadership for women in the Church including greater opportunities for preaching."
The award is named for the organization's late co-founder.
"Archbishop Durocher's leadership deserves recognition because he calls the Church to fully recognize and engage women's gifts, ministries and leadership, a key component of FutureChurch's mission," said Deborah Rose-Milavec, executive director, in a Sept. 20 press release.
"FutureChurch supporters began working to advance women in church leadership in the early '90s and, we are grateful that the work continues today through their efforts and the efforts of Catholic leaders like Archbishop Durocher," she said.
In an email to NCR Sept. 21*, Durocher confirmed that he would be accepting the award from FutureChurch via livestream.
"I know that I am being given this award because of my intervention at the Synod last October inviting my brother bishops to study the question of women being ordained to the permanent diaconate," Durocher wrote. "This was one of a few proposals I made to recognize the gifts that women can bring to leadership and teaching functions within the Church. The heart of my intervention considered the ongoing violence perpetrated by men against their spouses in a conjugal relationship.
"Acknowledging the gifts of women within ecclesiastical structures is one way the Church can teach by example that women's dignity is inviolable and needs to be protected and celebrated within the marriage covenant," he continued. "In accepting this award, my mind and heart will be with the millions of women who continue to suffer from the scourge of conjugal abuse."
At the 2015 Synod of Bishops on the family in Rome, Durocher used part of his three-minute intervention to talk about female deacons. He spoke to NCR in May about the intervention [2].
"Since the synod members themselves and the pope in his letter didn't refer to the role of women in the church very clearly, I was hoping it was a seed planted in the ground and praying it would bear fruit at one point, but I didn't know if it would," Durocher told NCR in a May phone interview shortly after Pope Francis announced the creation of a commission to study female deacons[3].
Durocher said that a number of bishops he spoke with at the synod were favorable of studying the idea.
Rose-Milavec, who was also in Rome during the synod, said she spoke with Durocher after his speech about how he would continue his efforts in advocating for more female inclusiveness in the church.
"He promised he would continue working with his own bishops in Canada," Rose-Milavec told NCR in a Sept. 20 phone interview. "I think he was inspired by some of them. We wanted to honor that."
This year's Annual Fall Benefit is especially important, said Rose-Milavec, due to Francis' creating the commission on female deacons.
"This is the stuff we've been working for for a very long time," she said. "We are hopeful that we will have a good outcome to the commission."
At the time of the synod and after Durocher's intervention, FutureChurch launched a petition to support his proposal. The organization received 8,500 signatures from FutureChurch supporters "within a couple of days," Rose-Milavec said.
Around 140 people are expected to attend the FutureChurch event at the Cleveland Airport Marriott.
Durocher is scheduled to appear via livestream to accept the award and to address the assembly.
Fr. Charles Curran, a theology professor at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, will also speak at the event about Francis' Amoris Laetitia ("The Joy of Love") an apostolic exhortation reflecting on the family.
Rose-Milavec said the April 8 release of Amoris Laetitia also makes this a particular year for the church. "We think that within that document there are brand new openings on conscience," she said. "And Fr. Charlie Curran has been at the forefront of that discussion for a very long time."
Rose-Milavec said Curran will discuss topics including ways in which Catholics can rely on their conscience, who should be included and excluded in the church, and how to relate to the church.

James Martin, EssJay - Award winning liar

Ah, our good friend James Martin - a man who never saw a true teaching of Christ that he couldn't twist. Jimmy is getting an award from New Ways Ministry, a group of men and women who undertake behaviours such as anal intercourse, oral copulation, fisting and felching and expect us to believe that these behaviours are blest by Almighty God - what blasphemy. What a deception these poor people are under. A spiritual and psychological sickness that is fed by the likes of Martin.

Rather than accepting their praise, perhaps this corrupted Jesuit might warn them that not only will they face higher rates of alcoholism, drug abuse, physical abuse, sexually transmitted diseases, they will end up requiring diapers due to a non-functioning sphincter and then die at a younger age and end up in Hell, lest they repent and turn to Christ.

But that would require James Martin to be a real man, a real priest of Jesus Christ, a real missionary of the real truth and the real love which begins and ends with the Alpha and Omega whom Martin twists to serve his only perverted political and social agenda.

It is not about love, it is about truth.

St. Michael's Church in Athy, Ireland - Remember that "Lesbian" Mass in Ireland? It was clearly an agenda driven takeover and a priest clarifies that fact!

Readers may recall the story about a church in Ireland where two so-called "married" women committing the grotesquely affront to Christ the lifestyle and sin of lesbianism, were praised and given an ovation at a Holy Mass. The abomination took place at St. Michael's

ChurchMilitant reported on it here:

http://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/irish-lesbians-honored-in-return-as-parishoners-face-more-ira-death-threats

That's right, "death threats" to one, Mr. Anthony Murphy who has protested the goings on at St. Michael's parish in Athy, in the Archdiocese of Dublin.

What has happened to you Irish?  You once evanglised the world. Now, you are but a pathetic and disgusting example of your pagan past. The snakes, by the way, were sodomites! You've invited the snakes right back in.

What is wrong with the priests in this parish? What is wrong with you people? You disgust me. You're not Catholics, you're filthy, posturing pagans! Narcissists entrapped in your own egoism. You have forgotten Christ!

If you want to have you stomach turn, listen to a few minutes of the opening of this disgraceful display. Still think it is not a "nervous disorder?"

One of the concelbrating priests has spoken out on Catholic Voice

Father Brendan Kealy writes:

I was not present to promote or condone same-sex ‘marriage’ or what appeared to be the apparent triumphant and victorious return of our musical directors which seemed to become the focus of the evening. In my opinion, the Mass was hijacked to support the cause of same-sex ‘marriage’ which is clearly in breach of Catholic Church teachings.
How does this make sense within the Catholic Church?
This breach was displayed openly and in a very public manner from the holy sanctuary. I felt very uncomfortable about this as I had not given my blessing to such a union. I am not been harsh but simply following the teachings of the Church, that we all serve.
The ladies in question have a very important leadership role in the Church but decided to enter into a civil same-sex marriage which blatantly contradicts and challenges the teachings of their Catholic Church, and the instruction of Pope Francis. To me, this defies belief ? Is it not a contradiction to our faith? How does this make sense within the Catholic Church?

What about the others?

Protestant "Cardinal" Reinhard Marx praises Martin Luther as "awe-inspiring"

Some days, I wonder what to blog; and then, I wonder no longer. Truly, it has become to easy. The material is just so vast. One need not go looking for it, there is no such thing as a "slow-news day" in the Catholic Church of today. Now you know what was being referred to when the phrase was coined, "you just can't make this stuff up."

Cardinal Marx enjoying the finer things in life and polluting the air

Reinhard Marx, a man whose theology is often best left in the village pub, and an apparent Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church has praised Martin Luther as "awe-inspiring."

In a most cheeky edition from GloriaTV. Reiny said:

In a meeting with the president of the Protestants in Germany, Munich Cardinal Reinhard Marx has again sung the praises of Martin Luther calling him – quote – “an awe-inspiring seeker of God as I would wish my parish-priests and theologians to be.”
David Grey has some of Luther's most outrageous statements. Looking at what he though of chastity in marriage, is it any wonder that Marx, Kasper and Bergoglio think as they do?
  • “If the husband is unwilling, there is another who is; if the wife is unwilling, then let the maid come.” (ref. Of Married Life).
  • “Suppose I should counsel the wife of an impotent man, with his consent, to giver herself to another, say her husband’s brother, but to keep this marriage secret and to ascribe the children to the so-called putative father. The question is: Is such a women in a saved state? I answer, certainly.” (ref. On Marriage).
  • “It is not in opposition to the Holy Scriptures for a man to have several wives.” (ref. De Wette, Vol. 2, p. 459).
  • “The word and work of God is quite clear, viz., that women are made to be either wives or prostitutes.” (ref. On Married Life).
  • “In spite of all the good I say of married life, I will not grant so much to nature as to admit that there is no sin in it. .. no conjugal due is ever rendered without sin. The matrimonial duty is never performed without sin.” (ref. Weimar, Vol 8. Pg. 654. In other words for Luther the matrimonial act is “a sin differing in nothing from adultery and fornication.” ibid. What then is the purpose of marriage for Luther you may ask? Luther affirms that it’s simply to satisfy one’s sexual cravings “The body asks for a women and must have it” or again “To marry is a remedy for fornication” – Grisar, “Luther”, vol. iv, pg. 145).

To priests reading this; stay the course Fathers. Stay faithful to Our Blessed Lord. Feed His sheep.

Soon, Pope Bergoglio will go to Lund, Sweden to praise the man whose work continues to lead souls to Hell.

As I wrote, you just can't make this stuff up.
