Hey Rosica - Plagiarise this!

The quotes below are not plagiarised. They were not written by a Salt + Light intern. They were written by a Catholic priest, the Executive Producer of Salt + Light, a Consultor to the Pontifical Council for Social Communication and a man who is now discredited in the academic community for his theft of other people's ideas.

Thomas Rosica has resigned, or "resigned" from St. Michael's College for plagiarism, He states that it was not willful. How can this be? It went on for at least 25 years and pre-dates any possible "Intern" and the whole technology of "cut and paste."

Rosica shows no contrition. No recognition of the wrong done.

Just as he showed no contrition or offered and apology to me and my wife for the suffering he put us through.

He is a sociopath.

It has been confirmed to me that on at least two occasions he attempted to interfere with my employment.

Rosica's plagiarism extends to his academic papers. All of his credentials are now in question!

The Tom, "I'm a Serial Plagiarist" Rosica theft of other people's writing exposé has taken a new twist.

Just as a pedophile doesn't become one overnight, nor does a plagiarist. Both are serial actions that begin at a younger age and increase based upon the ability to continue to get away with it.

Josh Hochschild of Mount St. Mary's University and author of A Mind at Peace, has exposed Rosica's academic plagiarizing on Twitter @JoshHoshschild, the entire thread is copied below.

According to Tom Rosica's biography on Wikepedia:

"(He) has an undergraduate degree in French and Italian from St. John Fisher College, in Pittsford, NY. He entered the Congregation of St. Basil as a novice and studied Theology and Sacred Scripture at Regis College in Toronto. He continued his studies in theology and scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, and then École Biblique et Archéologiaue Française de Jérusalem."

Visiting his Wikipedia page, one will notice that his work at World Youth Day and Salt + Light occupies six lines. The "Conflict" with this writer occupies five. The new plagiarism paragraph is three. I suspect that will now change.

Every University that gave a degree to this man must investigate the worthiness of these Letters. His dissertations, his academic papers and multiple degrees are now all called into question. It is only a matter of time until other investigations reveal more plagiarism.

Kevin Storey, CSB is the General Superior of the Congregation of St. Basil. he has issued a statement:

"Plagiarism of any kind is wrong. When it is committed knowingly it rises to the level of a moral offense. As a community of Catholic educators we condemn it, without qualification. At the same time, we embrace our brother despite this failing for which he has taken full responsibility. With him, we apologize to those who have been offended by the misuse of their literary gifts."

Yet, Rosica blamed his "Interns" presumably at Salt + Light, as there would be no other place a priest would have "Interns."
His apology seems suspect. The Catholic Register reports on Rosica's quote in the National Post wherein he states:

"I will apologize that this came to light, and it’s wrong, and it’s not going to happen again,”

How in the name of all that is good is this a recognition of doing wrong? How is this an apology?

Tommy Rosica of the pervert-cover up and well-sued Congregation of St. Basil has been hiding a lot.

One wonders what else is being kept hidden.

Rosica blames his "interns" for his plagiarism - well, here is something written by him!

Congratulations to Dorothy Cummings McLean and all at LifeSiteNews who were able to humble this man enough. Yet, not enough. He blames his interns for his theft, his plagiarism. He apologises to the University of St. Michael and then states that the apology is that the matter become known.

Well, we'll see what the universities and his "teaching" Congregation do now.

While I hate to be a braggart, I was the first to report on Rosica's plagiarism. It was from an article in the National Catholic Reporter by the modernist "theologian" Richard R. Gaillardetz

The pot calls the kettle black. Serial Plagiarist, the Litigious Tom Rosica calls Viganò a liar and a "diabolical masterpiece."

LifeSiteNews is reporting that Rochester, New York born and raised Basilian priest Thomas J. Rosica, has called Carlo Maria Viganò, a liar. Dorothy Cummings McLean writes:

"At a February 8 lecture at Cambridge University, Fr. Thomas Rosica, executive director of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation, suggested Archbishop Viganò was a liar. Rosica, known for his pro-homosexual views, used the phrase “diabolical masterpiece” while describing the Vatican whistle-blower’s witness."

Mrs. Cummings McLean goes further, exposing Rosica as a plagiarizer.

This is not the first time that Rosica has plagiarised the work of others. This blog has repeatedly quoted Rosica:

Rosica has a habit of plagiarizing others. He has done it again.

Plagiarising is lying.

Rosica will no doubt be a spokesman at the already discredited Synod on abuse.

Rosica claims Basilians are "humbled"

The scandal of abuse at St. Michael's College continues. As reported previously, a student at the prominent and costly "Catholic" private school in Toronto was sodomised with a broomstick and a video of the crime was posted online. Six students have been charged by Toronto Police; eight in total have been expelled from the $20,000 per year tuition school. The President and Principal have resigned, they failed to report the crime to Toronto Police, it was known by the public through media and the police came calling and the Board remains intact. The Board of priests and two laity, one, a lawyer with Fogler Rubinoff, Nina Perfetto, represented Thomas Rosica on pro-bono basis in his attempt to sue this writer. The other, Toronto businessman Nick Di Donato bragged about hosting the largest same-sexed, so-called "wedding" in one of his operating facilities.

These are today's Catholic "leaders" of Toronto.

Yet, there is one more. Thomas J. Rosica, in an interview with Michael Swan of The Catholic Register, Rosica has literally lifted from this blog, the problem at St. Michael's College School. Rosica states that “The deeper question is what has our influence done or not done with these students?... If we have been unaware of this for a long time, how is that? How can that be?”

“Without that pursuit of truth, we would not know it. Some of the journalists — excellent journalists in Toronto and the editors and the hosts on television — have done a superb job,” A complete and utter failure of the Basilians and school leadership is admitted by Rosica, it took Toronto media and this blog and Toronto Catholic Witness to ensure that the Basilians "know it." At least he admits total and utter failure of duty!

Rosica continues that “Our Basilian motto — ‘Teach me goodness, discipline and knowledge’ — is not something we emblazon on walls or wear on t-shirts and on mugs because it’s cute. But if we take that seriously we have to look at this crisis and say, ‘Where was the goodness’ Where was the discipline? Where was the knowledge? If they were absent, then we have to make sure we inculcate those values into the students.”

Indeed Father Rosica, where was it? How is it possible that only now these abuses came to the knowledge of Tom? He knows well what this writer endured fifty years ago. Oh yes, he knew it, he knew the Basilians provided a settlement with no admission of guilt and then he turned around and abused this writer by a vexatious and frivolous attempt at a lawsuit.

How is it possible that only now, Tom Rosica and the rest of this Congregation of priests have come to the realisation that their motto is a fraud? Rosica admits that the clericalism has created a "culture of prestige, entitlement" but then includes the "clericalism of the laity" which is non-sensical. Where is "clericalism of the laity" in all of this? The laity can be blamed for being badly behaving Catholics for forgetting Jesus or for giving undue deference to the school, but I see no clericalism of the laity that has caused this problem.

Rosica asks if "we modelled our system on a system of the world? And how have we failed to incorporate the vision of Jesus in this? The answer is a resounding yes!

In the posts this blogger has written, I emphatically repeated that the problem at St. Michael's College School starts at the top, that the crisis of abuse is historic, endemic and part of a deep-seated Basilian culture. I have written that they have sold out for the riches of the world and long ago left behind their motto.

It seems that Tom still reads this blog. He seems to be finally learning.

The Shame of Toronto's Basilian St. Michael's College School

UPDATED, 11/21/2018 18:00hrs.

It is confirmed in media today that the Principal of St. Michael's College School knew about the assault on a student but did not report it to police. Greg Reeves reports that he did not call police because the boy's mother had not yet been informed.

It was Reeves' solemn duty to call the police, regardless. Meanwhile, alumni are calling for resignations and an end to the "bullying mentality" endemic in the institution. No reform is possible without the complete exposure of the Congregation of St. Basil.

The Board today, which includes a prominent Toronto lawyer Nina Perfetto of Fogler Rubinoff and businessman Nick Di Donato of Liberty Entertainment issued a statement today giving full support to the President and Principal of the College. The Board members themselves have lost all credibility with what they have said today:

Throughout this difficult time, our first priority remains on the victims and the safety and well-being of the entire student body, faculty, and staff.
"As a Board, we are united in our support of the School’s leadership. Both President Fr. Jefferson Thompson, CSB and Principal Greg Reeves were hired because of their dedication and care for students throughout their careers. That remains the primary focus, and they continue to have the full support of the Board for how this situation is being handled. They are both men of the highest integrity and continue to have our trust to lead us forward. Witnessing the standing ovation at last night’s alumni meeting, many of whom are current and past parents, I believe that Fr. Thompson and Mr. Reeves have their overwhelming support. As a school community, we want to ensure that these incidents do not happen again.”

The law is quite clear. Those in authority over minors are legally obligated to report cases of suspected abuse to the police or child family services under Ontario statutes. Were these so-called, Catholic leaders more concerned about the reputation of the school than the physical and spiritual welfare of a boy in its charge?

The law was not followed!

Every Catholic in Toronto should be justifiably outraged over this failure and betrayal. This is nothing new for this school or the Congregation of St. Basil who have paid out millions of dollars in damages for those abused under its care.

This writer knows first hand from a half-century ago, the brutality of priests of the Basilian Congregation. The history shows that the culture of abuse and bullying in Basilian schools is endemic and irreformable.

St. Michael's College in Toronto is facing another grave scandal. This latest involves alleged criminal activity including sexual assault, perversion and child pornography on the part of a group of students. It is alleged that the school reacted slowly to the situation and did not contact police.

Over the last half-century. the Basilian Congregation which owns and operates St. Michael's College has paid out millions of dollars in damages to the damaged souls who suffered under the infestation of homosexual perverts into that once august religious congregation for years of sexual abuse and rape by sodomite priests. Tom Rosica: "Remove the beam in your own eye, How can you live with yourself. How can you celebrate Mass?"

It seems that Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has some legal problems. Crux is reporting that a court in Milan has ordered him to make a financial settlement to his brother. When Viganò issued his Testimony, something learned about him was that he came from an old and wealthy aristocratic Italian family. This has enabled him to not rely on the Church for his retirement and given him the ability to protect himself from those who would seek to do him harm at this time.

Whether he acted inappropriately or not is not of any importance in the debate over McCarrick or those who supported his advancement and the advancement of others in the Church like him. He has rightly called out the homosexualist mafia in the Church and its destructiveness.

Yet, there are those who continue to try to discredit him because of what he has written but fail to address what he has written. This, in itself, is a testimony that what he has said is true.

Tom Rosica mocks the Viganò family writing, "What a beautiful Christian family."

One should be very careful about casting stones when one lives in a glass house because every family has its tragedies.

Donald Wuerl has "touched us" and he has "entered our lives" according to Tom Rosica

Oh when will Tom realise that blocking one on Twitter does not mean one cannot read his Twitter.

Tom has a problem. He has a terrible lack of judgement.

How many times has he praised a clericalist only to find it blow up in his face?

Think here of his ebullient praise for the ebullient praise of Uncle Teddy McCarrick long since bleached away. Or how about his reference to Canada's child porn bishop as a "kind and gentle pastor." And of course, one cannot forget the sycophantic worship of the notorious homosexual priest and corrupted Vatican II peritus, Gregory Baum.

The fawning interview with Donald Wuerl was a real act of poor judgement given the facts that were emerging at that time.

Bergoglio accepted Wuerl's two years ago resignation by appointing him now as Administrator.

Bergoglio didn't know who Kim Davis "really was," But he sure knew who Emma Bonino was!

According to this Tweet by Tom Rosica, Antonio Spadaro has said that "Francis didn't know who Kim Davis "really" was."

How tragic that these supposed men of Christ have so degraded the public image of Kim Davis, who while not a Catholic, confesses Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour.

Yes, let's throw Kim Davis under the bus.

Well, Jorge Mario Bergoglio sure knows who Emma Bonino is. If he didn't then it was up to Spadaro to "protect the pope" from meeting with such people giving scandal to the faithful and encouraging them in their evil.
