It is a helpful response. It is leagues better and a complete counterpoint, to what the American bishops have said. We are looking for a Catholic response. The SSPX has provided one. The USCCB has not. The laity understand, even if the American bishops prefer gaslighting or denial. The pope has brought schism, the schism he threatened when he was elected, "I may be the pope to bring schism". So he had this and other plans in his mind when installed, and now is bringing them to fruition, because his innards are rotting and he knows time matters. What Francis has done is put priests and bishops in a bad position. It is forcing their hand, because of course the minions will be asking for blessings on their relationships, and good priests and bishops will be set up. Francis seeks a schism, he wants the faithful on the outside of the church. To not identify the sacrilege is to turn your back on God and His commandments, not to mention the faith and the flock. Like it or not, we are going to see who is faithful to God and who is not. There will be many, not. There will at least be a remnant, who will. God be with us. Keep the faith! This is why Jesus asked if there would be faith on earth, and told us about the narrow way we must find.
