Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò on his return to the Traditonal Latin Mass

Dilecta Mea — About the Holy Apostolic Mass

You who permit yourselves to prohibit the Holy Apostolic Mass, have you ever celebrated it? You who from the height of your liturgical cathedrae are piqued about the “old Mass,” have you ever meditated on its prayers, its rites, and its ancient and sacred gestures? I have asked myself this many times in the past few years: because I myself, even though I knew this Mass since I was very young; even though I had learned to serve it and respond to the celebrant when I was so little that I was still wearing boys’ knickers, I had almost forgotten it and lost it. Introibo ad altare Dei. Kneeling in winter on the ice-cold steps of the altar, before going to school. Sweating on hot summer days under my altar boy’s vestments. I had forgotten that Mass, even though it was the Mass of my ordination as a priest on 24 March 1968: an era in which one could already perceive the signs of the revolution that shortly thereafter would deprive the Church of her most precious treasure, imposing a counterfeit ritual in its place.

Well, that Mass that the conciliar reform cancelled and prohibited in my first years of Priesthood remained as a distant memory, like the smile of a distant loved one, the gaze of a missing relative, the sound of a Sunday with its bells, its friendly voices. But it was something that had to do with nostalgia, youth, the enthusiasm of an era in which ecclesiastical commitments were still to come, in which everyone wanted to believe that the world could recover from the aftermath of the Second World War and the threat of Communism with a renewed spiritual momentum. We wanted to think that economic well-being could somehow be accompanied by a moral and religious rebirth of our nation [Italy]. Despite the revolution of 1968, the occupations, terrorism, the Red Brigades, and the crisis of the Middle East. Thus, amidst the thousand ecclesiastical and diplomatic commitments, the memory of something had crystallized in my memory that in fact remained unresolved, which had been “momentarily” set aside for decades. Something that patiently waited, with the indulgence that only God uses toward us.

My decision to denounce the scandals of American Prelates and the Roman Curia was the occasion that led me back to consider, under another light, not only my role as Archbishop and as Apostolic Nuncio, but also the soul of that Priesthood which service first in the Vatican and lastly in the United States had in some way left incomplete: more for my being a priest than for the Ministry. And what up until then I had not yet understood became clear to me due to an apparently unexpected circumstance, when my personal safety seemed to be in danger and I found myself, against my will, having to live almost in hiding, far from the palaces of the Curia. It was then that that blessed segregation, which today I consider as a sort of monastic choice, led me to rediscover the Holy Tridentine Mass. I recall very well the day when, instead of the chasuble, I put on the traditional vestments with the Ambrosian cappino and the maniple. I recall the fear that I felt in pronouncing, after almost fifty years, those prayers of the Missal that re-emerged from my mouth as if I had just recited them shortly before. Confitemini Domino, quoniam bonus, in the place of the Psalm Judica me, Deus of the Roman Rite. Munda cor meum ac labia mea. These words were no longer the words of the altar boy or the young seminarian, but the words of the celebrant, of I who once again, I would dare say for the first time, celebrated before the Most Holy Trinity. Because while it is true that the Priest is a person who lives essentially for others – for God and for his neighbor – it is equally true that if he does not have the awareness of his own identity and has not cultivated his own holiness, his apostolate is sterile like the clanging cymbal.

I know well that these reflections can leave those who have never had the grace of celebrating the Mass of all time unmoved, or even arouse condescension. But the same thing happens, I imagine, for those who have never fallen in love and who do not understand the enthusiasm and the chaste transport of the beloved towards his beloved, or for those who do not know the joy of getting lost in her eyes. The dull Roman liturgist, the Prelate with his tailored clerical suit and his pectoral cross in his pocket, the consultor of the Roman Congregation with the latest copy of Concilium or Civiltà Cattolica in plain sight, looks at the Mass of Saint Pius V with the eyes of an entomologist (the science that studies insects), scrutinizing that pericope just as a naturalist observes the veins of a leaf or the wings of a butterfly. Indeed, I sometimes wonder if they don’t do it with the asepticity of the pathologist who cuts open a living body with a scalpel. But if a priest with a minimum of interior life approaches the ancient Mass, regardless of whether he has ever known it before or is discovering it for the first time, he is deeply moved by the composed majesty of the rite, as if he has stepped out of time and entered the eternity of God.

What I would like to make my brothers in the Episcopate and the Priesthood understand is that that Mass is intrinsically divine, because one perceives the sacred in a visceral way: one is literally taken up into heaven, into the presence of the Most Holy Trinity and the celestial Court, far from the clamor of the world. It is a love song, in which the repetition of the signs, the reverences, and the sacred words is not in any way useless, just as a mother never tires of kissing her son, or a bride never tires of saying, “I love you” to her husband. Everything is forgotten there, because all that is said and sung in it is eternal, all the gestures that are performed there are perennial, outside of history, yet immersed in a continuum that unites the Cenacle, Calvary, and the altar on which the Mass is celebrated. The celebrant does not address the assembly, with the concern of being understandable or being nice or appearing to be up-to-date; rather, he addresses God: and before God there is only the sense of infinite gratitude for the privilege of being able to carry with him the prayers of the Christian people, the joys and sorrows of so many souls, the sins and shortcomings of those who implore forgiveness and mercy, gratitude for graces received, and suffrages for our dear departed. One is alone, and at the same time one feels intimately united with an endless host of souls that crosses time and space.

When I celebrate the apostolic Mass, I think of how on that same altar, consecrated by the relics of the Martyrs, so many Saints and thousands of priests, using the same words that I say, repeating the very same gestures, making the same bows and the same genuflections, wearing the same vestments. But above all, receiving Holy Communion with the same Body and Blood of Our Lord, to whom we have all been assimilated in the offering of the Holy Sacrifice. When I celebrate the Mass of all time, I realize in the most sublime and complete way the true significance of what doctrine teaches us. Acting in persona Christi is not a mechanical repetition of a formula, but the awareness that my mouth utters the same words that the Savior pronounced over the bread and wine in the Cenacle; that as I elevate the Host and Chalice to the Father, I repeat the immolation that Christ made of Himself on the Cross; that in receiving Holy Communion I consume the sacrificial Victim and feed on God Himself, and I am not participating in a party. And the entire Church is with me: the Church Triumphant which deigns to unite itself to my imploring prayer, the Church Suffering that awaits it in order to shorten souls’ stay in Purgatory, and the Church Militant that strengthens herself in the daily spiritual battle. But if, as we profess with faith, our mouth is really Christ’s mouth, if our words in the Consecration are really those of Christ, if the hands with which we touch the Sacred Host and the Chalice are Christ’s hands, what respect ought we to have for our body, keeping it pure and uncontaminated? What better incentive is there to remain in the Grace of God? Mundamini, qui fertis vasa Domini. And with the words of the Missal: Aufer a nobis, quæsumus, Domine, iniquitates nostras: ut ad sancta sanctorum puris mereamur mentibus introire.

The theologian will tell me that this is common doctrine, and that the Mass is exactly that, regardless of the rite, I do not deny it, rationally. But while the celebration of the Tridentine Mass is a constant reminder of an uninterrupted continuity of the work of the Redemption studded with Saints and Blesseds, the same thing does not happen, it seems to me, with the reformed rite. If I look at the table versus populum, I see there the Lutheran altar or the Protestant table; if I read the words of the Institution of the Last Supper in the form of narration, I hear the modifications of Cranmer’s Common Book of Prayer, and the service of Calvin; if I glance through the reformed calendar, I find that the same saints who cancelled the heretics of the Pseudo-reform have been removed. And the same is true for the songs, which would horrify an English or German Catholic: hearing the hymns of those who martyred our priests and trampled the Blessed Sacrament in contempt for “papist superstition” sung under the vaults of a church ought to make us understand the abyss that exists between the Catholic Mass and its conciliar counterfeit. To say nothing of the language: the first ones to abolish Latin were the heretics, in the name of giving the people a greater comprehension of the rites; a people whom they deceived, contesting revealed Truth and propagating error. Everything is profane in the Novus Ordo. Everything is momentary, everything accidental, everything contingent, variable, and changeable. There is nothing of the eternal, because eternity is immutable, just as the Faith is immutable. Just as God is immutable.

There is another aspect of the traditional Holy Mass that I would like to emphasize, and that unites us to the Saints and Martyrs of the past. Since the times of the catacombs up until the most recent persecutions, wherever a priest celebrates the Holy Sacrifice, even in an attic or a cellar, in the woods or in a barn, or even in a van, he is mystically in communion with that host of heroic witnesses of the Faith, and the gaze of the Most Holy Trinity rests on that improvised altar; before it all the angelic hosts genuflect adoringly; all of the souls in purgatory gaze toward it. In this too, especially in this, each of us understands how the Tradition creates an indissoluble link between the centuries, not only in the jealous custody of that treasure, but also in facing the trials that it entails, even unto death. In the presence of this thought, the arrogance of the present tyrant, with his insane decrees, ought to strengthen us in fidelity to Christ and make us feel that we are an integral part of the Church of all times, because we cannot win the palm of victory if we are not ready to fight the bonum certamen.

I would like my confreres to dare to do the unthinkable: I would like them to approach the Holy Tridentine Mass not so as to be pleased with the lace of an alb or with the embroidery of a chasuble, or because of a mere rational conviction about its canonical legitimacy or about the fact that it has never been abolished; but rather with the reverential fear with which Moses approached the burning bush: knowing that each one of us, upon coming down from the altar after the Last Gospel, is in some way interiorly transfigured because there he has encountered the Holy of Holies. It is only there, on that mystical Sinai, that we can understand the very essence of our Priesthood, which is the giving of Oneself to God, above all; an oblation of all of himself together with Christ the Victim, for the greater glory of God and the salvation of souls; a spiritual sacrifice which draws strength and vigor from the Mass; self-renunciation in order to make way for the High Priest; a sign of true humility, in the annihilation of one’s own will and abandonment to the will of the Father, following the Lord’s example; a gesture of authentic “communion” with the Saints, in the sharing of the same profession of faith and the same rite. And I would like not only those who have celebrated the Novus Ordo for decades to have this “experience,” but above all the young priests and those who carry out their ministry in the front line: the Mass of Saint Pius V is for indomitable spirits, for generous and heroic souls, for hearts burning with Charity for God and one’s neighbor.

I know well that the life of the priests today is made up of a thousand trials, of stress, of the feeling of being alone in fighting against the world, in the disinterest and ostracism of Superiors, of a slow wear and tear that distracts from recollection, from the interior life, and from spiritual growth. And I know very well that this feeling of being under siege, of finding oneself as a sailor who is alone and has to pilot a ship through a storm, is not the prerogative of traditionalists or progressives, but is the common destiny of all those who have offered their lives to the Lord and to the Church, each with their own miseries, with economic problems, misunderstandings with the Bishop, criticisms from their confreres, as well as the requests of the faithful. And also those hours of solitude, in which the presence of God and the companionship of the Virgin Mary seem to vanish, just as in the dark night of Saint John of the Cross. Quare me repulisti? Et quare tristis incedo, dum affligit me inimicus? When the demon winds insidiously between the internet and the television, quærens quem devoret, taking advantage of our weariness by betrayal. In those cases, which we all face just as Our Lord did in Gethsemane, it is our Priesthood that Satan wants to strike, presenting himself persuasively like Salomé before Herod, asking us for the gift of the Baptist’s head. Ab homine iniquo, et doloso erue me. In the trial, we are all the same: because the victory that the Enemy wants to win is not only over the poor souls of the Baptized, but over Christ the Priest, whose Anointing we carry.

For this reason, today more than ever, the Holy Tridentine Mass is the sole anchor of salvation of the Catholic Priesthood, because in it the priest is reborn, each day, in that privileged time of intimate union with the Blessed Trinity, and from it he draws indispensable graces so as not to fall into sin, to progress along the way of holiness, and to rediscover the healthy balance with which to face his Ministry. Anyone who believes that all this can be liquidated as a mere ceremonial or aesthetic question has not understood anything about his own priestly Vocation. Because the Holy Mass “of all time” – and it truly is this, just as it has always been opposed by the Adversary – is not an obliging lover who offers herself to anyone, but rather a jealous and chaste Bride, as jealous as the Lord is.

Do you want to please God or the one who keeps you away from Him? The question, at its root, is always this: the choice between the gentle yoke of Christ and the Adversary’s chains of slavery. The response will appear clear and limpid to you in the moment in which you too, marveling at this immense treasure that has been kept hidden from you, discover what it means to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice not as pathetic “presiders of the assembly,” but rather as “ministers of Christ and dispensers of the Mysteries of God” (1 Cor 4:1).

Pick up the Missal, ask for help from a priest friend, and ascend the Mountain of the Transfiguration: Emitte lucem tuam et veritatem tuam: ipsa me deduxerunt, et adduxerunt in montem sanctum tuum, et in tabernacula tua. Like Peter, James, and John, you will exclaim: Domine, bonum est nos hic esse – “Lord, it is good that we are here” (Mt 17:4). Or, with the words of the Psalmist that the celebrant repeats at the Offertory: Domine, dilexi decorem domus tuæ, et locum habitationis gloriæ tuæ.

Once you have discovered it, no one will be able to take away from you that through which the Lord no longer calls you servants, but friends (Jn 15:15). No one will ever be able to convince you to renounce it, forcing you to be content with its adulteration that was brought to birth by rebellious minds. Eratis enim aliquando tenebræ: nunc enim lux in Domino. Ut filii lucis ambulate. “For once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk then as children of the light” (Eph 5:8). Propter quod dicit: Surge qui dormis, et exsurge a mortuis, et illuminabit te Christus. “Wherefore he says: Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ shall enlighten you” (Eph 5:14).

What an apologia! Once in a while one reads a masterful defense/explanation. The feeling I got as I read this was much like that, when I read Dr.King's Letter from a Birmingham Jail or Newman's Apologia Pro Vita Sua. I do hope many seminarians read this, especially a couple of traditional ones, I know, at a local Novus Ordo seminary. Perhaps it will move them to find a TLM community free of the conciliar strait jacket.

The sodomite Modernists led by Satan who govern the CC have their agenda almost complete - destroy the liturgy, desecrate church interiors; the altar with central taberancle, communion rails, confessionals, stations of the cross, side altars, mortuary etc. Replace the priestly functions by introducing lay readers (mostly women), extraordinary ministers of HC (again women) who cannot give absolution to the recipients beforehand, confessions in front pew or in priest's office (no longer vestry) with people coming & going all the time. It was all forced upon Christ's people as necessary for ecumenism which was a downright lie, as there is only OHCA Church which Jesus founded on the First Apostles into which all must be encorporated in before death.

Our Modernist priests are lazy & want a quiet life. They have Unions to ensure they have their day off & don't have to answer night calls. Their leader says we are all the same now & all can get to Heaven by good deeds &, of course, blindly obeying them. An unacceptable number regard the priesthood as a job & too many are SSA. This situation does not concern the present incumbent of the PO as he apparently shares their perversity. Men like Archbishop Vigano are drastically low in number, particularly those who speak out & want action & very often they are grossly persecuted. There are far too many silent prelates who subject themselves to Francis the Antipope as none of them read Latin (don want to) & therefore cannot understand Canon Law which unequivocally states PBXVI's resignation due to coercion doesn't comply with it, neither therefore the conclave nor election.

I am greatly disappointed by Cardinals Sarah & Müller who should know better but are sitting it out before making any move. This attitude I find scandalous coming from ordained & consecrated men, but at the end of the day they come from the Modernist wing of the CC which is suffocating the Traditional wing. There is no use in talking any more; the CC is in schism & has been since VII. We must demand an Imperfect Council to rid ourselves of these heretics & apostates. Maybe Cardinal Burke will try again & this time ask for support from those who through fear/ignorance/little faith opted out the last time but who now see the consequences of their inaction & wish to have answers to how the Modernists took over the Church, what occurred before PBXVI's Substantial Error resignation & the St. Gallen Mafia election that gave us Francis. If an Imperfect Council can give us the necessary investigation/answers & dismissal of these sodomite rogues then let's get on with it. It is an outright Spiritual War now (no holds barred) & Christ's team wins.

The bishops and priests of the SSPX, Ecclesia Dei and Bishop Athanasius Schneider hear Confessions of Catholics who are sin but with the False Premise in the interpretation of Vatican Council II they support mortal sins of faith : same problem with the good Archbishop

The bishops and priests of the SSPX, Ecclesia Dei and Bishop Athanasius Schneider hear Confessions of Catholics who are sin but with the False Premise in the interpretation of Vatican Council II there is a rupture with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, there is a break with an ecumenism of return of the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX and the Nicene and Apostles Creed is changed. They have to re-interpret the Catechisms which mention the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance. This is a break with the past Magisterium. This is heresy and schism which are mortal sins of faith. They have an option. They can interpret the baptism of desire and invincible ignorance with the rational premise and then re-interpret Vatican Council II and the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus rationally and historically.

Bishop Athanasius Schneider has said that there are no literal cases of the baptism of desire ( LG 14). This is interpreting Vatican Council II ( LG 14) rationally. However he still has to interpret LG 8, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc rationally and then notice that the Council no where contradicts the past ecclesiocentrism of the Church. He then has to affirm this ecclesiocentrism which is politically not correct with the Left and the Vatican. He would be saying that outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation and like the Athanasius Creed he would have to say that all need to be members of the Catholic Church to avoid Hell.It would also be saying that non Christians are oriented into the Catholic Church to avoid Hell (CDF, Notification, Fr.Jacques Dupuis sj, 2001 during the pontificate of Pope John Paul II etc, Dominus Iesus 20 etc) -Lionel Andrades

Bishop Athanasius Schneider's new website : Can we personally meet and see someone saved with the baptism of desire, baptism of blood or invincible ignorance in 2019 ?
Bishop Athanasius Schneider has a new website which welcomes questions. I sent him this message a minute a ago.

Dear Bishop Athanasius Schneider,

Praised be Jesus and Our Lady.
I am a Catholic lay man in Rome and owner of the blog Eucharist and Mission. I submit the following questions to your Excellency and would like permission to post your answer on my blog. Excuse me for not including a telephone number, since I do not use the telephone. I have not done so for a few years. I have included my e-mail number and you are also free to contact me. I have been e-mailing you but have not received a reply.

1.The Catholic Church refers to the baptism of desire,(BOD) baptism of blood (BOB) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I), which for me are hypothetical and theoretical cases in 2019. If they happened they would only be known to God. So they are not actual non Catholics who are personally known and who are saved outside the Church.Let me further clarify: I cannot meet or see a person saved with BOD, BOB and I.I in 2019.I cannot say that there were 20 cases of the BOD last year or 25 persons, the previous year.
Is it the same for you Bishop Schneider? Would your Excellency also say that there are no known cases of BOD, BOB and I.I today and there were none which were physically known and seen for us human beings ?
2.So in 2019 BOD, BOB and I.I cannot be practical exceptions to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) which says all need to be members of the Catholic Church for salvation.
BOD,BOB and I.I never were exceptions to the dogma EENS in 1965 or 1949.
3. Similarly Lumen Gentium 8 (elements of sanctification and truth), Lumen Gentium 16( invincible ignorance), Lumen Gentium 14 ( the hypothetical case of an unknown catechumen) etc are all hypothetical cases for you ? They are personally invisible people in 2019? So they are not objective exceptions to the dogma EENS, the past exclusivist ecclesiology and an ecumenism of return ?
3.When Unitatitis Redintigratio 3 refers to 'imperfect communion with the Church', this too is a hypothetical case and can never be a known Protestant or Christian saved outside the Church. So UR 3 would not contradict the dogma EENS or an ecumenism of return ?
4.Since LG 8, LG 14, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2,GS 22 etc all refer to hypothetical cases Vatican Council II no where contradicts the Syllabus of Errors on ecumenism and non Christian religions.Non Catholics including Christians need to convert into the Catholic Church for salvation ?(CDF, Notification,Dupuis n.7( 2001).

Msgr. Gilles Wach, Prior General of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest offers the Latin Mass while supporting mortal sins of faith. There is no denial from him since the False Premise in the interpretation of Vatican Council II contradicts the Athanasius Creed, and changes the interpretation of the Nicene Creed. The Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX on an ecumenism of return to the Catholic Church is rejected with alleged exceptions caused by the False Premise. But with the False Premise in the interpretation of Vatican Council II he is politically correct with the Left.

It is the same for the priests who offer the Novus Ordo Holy Mass.-Lionel Andrades

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano and Bishop Athanasius Schneider use the Fake Premise like the liberals. So they offer the Latin Mass in schism and heresy and do not deny it, for political reasons. They do not deny their mortal sins of faith and they hear the Confession of Catholics in sin.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano and Bishop Athanasius Schneider use the Fake Premise ( invisible cases of LG 16 etc are visible in 2022) instead of the Rational Premise( invisible cases of LG 8,LG 16,LG 14 etc are physically visible in 2022) and Pope Francis, Pope Benedict and Cardinal Walter Kasper do the same.

So invisible and unknown cases of non Catholics saved with the baptism of desire (LG 14) or invisible ignorance (LG 16) or ‘elements of sanctification and truth in other religions’ (LG 8) are visible and known for them in 1965-2022 so they conclude that there are practical exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Athanasius Creed, the Syllabus of Errors etc.

For me unknown and invisible cases in 1965-2022 of non Catholics saved according to LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 are invisible and unknown. So they are not practical exceptions for the past exclusivist ecclesiology of the Catholic Church.

The traditionalists and liberals however use the same False Premise (invisible people are visible in the present times) while I use the Rational Premise (invisible people are invisible in the present times).Their conclusion is non-traditional (EENS is obsolete since there are practical exceptions) and mine is traditional (EENS is not obsolete since there are no practical exceptions in the present times).

So I can go for the Latin Mass and be orthodox while they offer the Latin Mass creating false exceptions for the Athanasius Creed, EENS and the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX ( ecumenism of return to the Church etc). This is irregular. It is unorthodox. It is an innovation.

They choose the hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition while I choose one of continuity with Tradition.

They choose a break with the past Magisterium which is schism. I avoid it.

They re-interpret the Creeds and Catechisms with the same False Premise (invisible people are visible) and I avoid it. This is first class heresy which I avoid.

So they offer the Latin Mass in schism and heresy and do not deny it, for political reasons.

They do not deny their mortal sins of faith and they hear the Confession of Catholics in sin.

Bishop Schneider when interviewed by Dr. Taylor Marshall has said that there are no literal cases of the baptism of desire (LG 14).So he used the Rational Premise (the invisible cases of the baptism of desire are invisible in the present times). However he is not saying that LG 8, LG 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc in Vatican Council II also refer to hypothetical cases. It would mean the Council does not contradict EENS, the Athanasius Creed and the Syllabus of Errors.

He does not affirm these Church Documents with no exceptions. There are exceptions for him, so the Council is a break with Tradition. This is the traditionalist position on Vatican Council II which is politically correct with the Left and the Vatican. It is acceptable for them. It is also the liberal position. They affirm the Council with exceptions and so there is a break with Tradition which they accept.

They both use the same False Premise but the traditionalists in a vague way and the liberals accept it.

But for the two bishops this is not ethical even by secular standards when they use the False Premise to create an artificial break with Catholic Tradition, in particular the old theology which was ecclesiocentric. They are following the Left in their interpretatio of Vatican Council II and are liberals and not traditionalists.-Lionel Andrades

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano and Bishop Athanasius Schneider could have their ecclesiastical and priestly faculties respectively removed, if they do not interpret Vatican Council II , the Creeds, Catechisms, the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) etc with a Fake Premise ( invisible cases are visible in 1965-2022) and so create a rupture with Tradition, especially the Athanasius Creed, the dogma EENS, the Syllabus of Errors and other Church Documents which affirm the traditional ecclesiocentrism of the Catholic Church.

So they tacitly support the official and common heresy and schism and remain politically correct with the Vatican, the Masons and the rest of the Left.

As Lefebvrists there is no danger of being laicized since they employ the same fake premise as the liberals and Masons. They are not Feeneyites.

Unlike the two prudent bishops, Fr. Leonard Feeney was excommunicated and his priestly faculties taken away by Cardinal Richard Cushing, the Archbishop of Boston. This was approved by Pope Pius XII sometime after the creation of Israel as a state. The Jesuit priest would not use the Fake Premise; he would not say invisible cases of the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and being saved in invincible ignorance, were physically visible exceptions for traditional EENS, with no known exceptions.

The two bishops are deflecting attention from the real issue-the Fake Premise, to the Latin Mass, which has nothing to do with their abjuration.

When a bishop does not rationally and traditionally affirm the Creeds, Catechisms, Vatican Council II and the other Councils, EENS, Church declarations (Joint Statement on Justification with the Lutherans, the Balamand Declaration with Orthodox Christians etc), dogmas and traditional doctrines, what’s left? It is like an abjuration of the Faith, material or manifest.

The two bishops are denying the Faith to maintain their ecclesiastical and priestly status.

The laity is following them in ignorance.

Today morning at the Sunday Mass at the church San Silvestro

The laity is following them in ignorance.

Today morning at the Sunday Mass at the church San Silvestro in Capite, Piazza San Silvestro, Rome at Holy Mass in Italian the priest said that this Sunday was dedicated by Pope Francis, for the Word of God; the Bible for Christians.

But how do we interpret the Word of God, the Bible- with or without the False Premise? The dogma EENS for example, comes from the interpretation of John 3:5 and Mark 16:16 etc.The Pallotine Fathers at San Silvestro and the laity in general, like Pope Francis, interpret EENS as having exceptions- but for me there are no exceptions.

The Nicene Creed was recited at Holy Mass. It can be interpreted with or without the False Premise. The Filipino community at the church interprets it with the False Premise and I use the Rational Premise. We all affirm the Nicene Creed but our premise and conclusion are different in the same Church.

So this is the same one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Church in which we are all in, but definitely one of our two interpretations is not apostolic or Patristic.

The interpretation of Church Documents, with the political premise, by Archbishop Vigano and Bishop Schneider, is not apostolic and patristic. With the Fake Premise they reject the old theology and create a new theology which is an innovation, schism and heresy. I affirm the same Church Documents as them but with the Rational Premise there is a hermeneutic of continuity with the Apostles and the Patristic period.

We reaffirm our adherence to the magisterium (including that of Vatican II and what follows), according to the Catholic doctrine of the assent due to it (cf. in particular LUMEN GENTIUM, §25, and Catechism of the Catholic Church, §891 and §892), as evidenced by the numerous studies and doctoral theses carried out by several of us over the past 33 years. - Joint Statement by Superiors General of “Ecclesia Dei” Communities,Courtelain, France, Corpus Christi, Watershed, September 2, 2021 https://www.ccwatershed.org/2021/09/02/breaking-joint-statement-by-superiors-general-of-ecclesia-dei-communities/

Father Louis-Marie de Blignières, Superior General of the Fraternity of Saint Vincent Ferrier, France signed the Communique of the Ecclesia Dei communities at Cortalain, France last September, in which he approved Vatican Council II interpreted with the False Premise. It creates the hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition. It is an abjuration of the Catholic faith. It supports schism with the past Magisterium, first class heresy on the Creeds and the rejection of de fide teachings of the Church which it is obligatory to believe in, example, the Creeds, without their meaning being changed with a False Premise, inference and non traditional conclusion.
Since Father Louis-Marie de Blignières is politically correct with the Left he is allowed politically to function in France.
Similarly in the USA the sedevacantist bishops are allowed to have their seminaries, churches and educational facilities since they use the False Premise but the conclusion, though politically correct, is a sin for Catholics. -Lionel Andrades

It supports schism with the past Magisterium, first class heresy on the Creeds and the rejection of de fide teachings of the Church which it is obligatory to believe in
We reaffirm our adherence to the magisterium (including that of Vatican II and what follows), according to the Catholic doctrine of the assent due to it (cf. in particular LUMEN GENTIUM, §25, and Catechism of the Catholic Church, §891 and §892), as evidenced by the numerous studies and doctoral theses carried out by several of us over the past 33 years. - Joint Statement by Superiors General of “Ecclesia Dei” Communities,Courtelain, France, Corpus Christi, Watershed, September 2, 2021 https://www.ccwatershed.org/2021/09/02/breaking-joint-statement-by-superiors-general-of-ecclesia-dei-communities/

Pope Francis and the Ecclesia Dei communities in France, have chosen the False Premise to interpret Vatican Council II and so there is heresy, schism and mortal sins at the Novus Ordo and Latin Mass. This is an abjuration of the Faith. The Courtalain communique supports the irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II in Traditionis Custode.

I can interpret Magisterial Documents without the common False Premise and can choose the Rational Premise.

Like Pope Francis in Traditionis Custode and the Ecclesia Dei communities in France in public supported the same abjuration of the Catholic Faith. At Courtalain,France they interpreted Vatican Council II with an Irrational Premise which creates the hermeneutic of rupture with Tradition. They did not announce that the choose the Rational Premise to interpret Vatican Council II.With the False Premise they create schism and mortal sins of faith. In public they are denying Tradition for political reasons. They agree with Pope Francis’ interpretation of Vatican Council II in Traditionis Custode. He too like the popes from Paul VI interprets Vatican Council II, the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Nicene and Athanasius Creed and Catechisms with the common False Premise.

I mentioned in a previous blog post how mortal sins of faith, first class heresy and schism with the past Magisterium is created with the False Premise.

1.Vatican Council II interpreted with the False Premise (invisible people are visible in 1965-2021) creates alleged practical exceptions for the 2.Athanasius Creed ( all need to be members of the Catholic Church for salvation from Hell), 3.changes the Nicene Creed ( I believe in three or more known and visible baptisms which exclude the baptism of water and so are practical exceptions for Feeneyite EENS).With the exceptions there is 4.a new version of ecumenism and a rejection of the ecumenism of return to the Catholic Church of the Syllabus of Errors. The baptism of desire and invincible ignorance are interpreted with the False Premise as in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 and so 5.there is a rupture with Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1441 on extra ecclesiam nulla salus. The Church no more teaches outside the Church there is no salvation for the Ecclesia Dei communities and the 6.Catechism of Pope Pius X (24 Q, 27Q) is obsolete. If they used the Rational Premise ( invisible cases of LG 8, LG 14, LG 16 are always invisible), they would have to affirm the strict interpretation of EENS, the Athanasius Creed and the Syllabus of Errors in public and then Pope Francis and the political Left would go after them. Now with the False Premise they interpret Vatican Council II like the Masons.

They have abjured and so the Left permits them to be legal, to collect funds and have financial projects. -Lionel Andrades

The Political Premise is an issue in the Catholic Church. If the Rational Premise is used to interpret Vatican Council II and other Magisterial Documents then there will be clerical sanctions imposed by the Vatican with the approval of the Left, on the priest or bishop.

With the Rational Premise there is harmony with Tradition ( EENS, Athanasius Creed, Syllabus of Errors ertc) and this is not welcome for the Left.

With the Rational Premise there can no more be the 'reforms of Vatican Council II', the 'new revelation and revolution with Vatican Council II' and the' the development of doctrine'.

It is only with the False Premise there can be a false New Theology which says outside the Church there is known salvation and which rejects the old theology which said outside the Church there is no salvation- since there can be no practical and known exceptions for us human beings.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano and Bishop Athanasius Schneider use the Political Premise, the False Premise to be politically correct with the Vatican and the Left.

The popes from Paul VI to Francis have used the Political Premise to interpret Vatican Council II and the popes from Pius XII have employed it to interpret extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the baptism of desire, baptism of blood and invincible ignorance- creating a new version, which is Cushingite and not Feeneyite.

So Archbishop Vigano and Bishop Schneider are avoiding clerical sanctions, like those imposed upon Fr. Leonard Feeney. They unethically use the False Premise to interpret Vatican Council II etc.

So there is no more mission as in the past, since the False Premise ( there are visible cases of no Catholics saved outside the Church) creates false exceptions (invisible cases of non Catholics saved outside the Catholic Church, without Catholic Faith and the baptism of water are exceptions for EENS).So the Athanasius Creed, Syllabus of Errors and dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, which was the theological basis for traditional mission is made obsolete.-Lionel Andrades
