I'm very honoured to have Angela Malek as a reader of this blog. Angela is a wonderful singer and has recorded with Crystal Jarrell Johnson in 2019, a lovely Christmas album. I was to post about it then but something happened just before Christmas that year - a foul wind from Wuhan. Well, better late than never.

Our choir to sing this beautiful hymn before Midnight Mass at the FSSP parish where I sang, in the days before the musical purists took over. Now it's Christmas and every Sunday with the Ukrainian Catholics.
I enjoyed listening to the singing of Ms. Malek and Ms. Johnson. May God bless their talent and the consolation they bring...a blessing in the traditional sense, not the ambivalent Fiducia Supplicans sense of blessing.
