Benedict XVI denies professor's claim - states that all Fatima secrets have been released

It is reported that the Emeritus Pope, Benedict XVI, has issued a statement through the Vatican Communications Office on the matter of the Fatima secrets. Last week on this blog, we reported on a story from One Peter 5, that a friend of then Cardinal Ratzinger, Fr. Dollinger, disclosed certain information that the full Secret was not released. This is the same person who provided this information a few years ago to Father Paul Kramer and published by the Fatima Center.

Perhaps prudence has kept the Popes from releasing all the Secret. Perhaps we do not need to know what it contains, some say; but what we must have is faithfulness to the message. Yet, Our Lady did ask for it to be released by 1960, so who are any of us to question it. Unless of course, she did not and, therefore, Sister Lucia must have been delusional. Are we to believe she was? because that is the implication. She was delusional. Well then, that begs a few questions. Why do we have churches, schools, statues of and a feast day for Our Lady of Fatima. It makes no sense. Why does the Church accept that Our Lady actually did appear at Fatima but on the rest, the children, Lucy specifically, were wrong, deluded and the Church has committed a great fraud. Why don't they just admit it?

What we also must know, is this; why has the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary not been done. The fact is, it has not been done and notwithstanding comments that it has been done, you cannot point to its event in history. Not Pius XII, not John Paul II. They did not do it. It was never done and I will repeat, it cannot be pointed to in history.

The fact is, Fatima happened and it can be pointed to in history. Our Lady appeared, the sun danced, people were cured. Are we to believe that everything after that was made up? Why then did popes and prelates continue to meet with Sister Lucy. it cannot be because she was delusional. It makes no sense.

Now, back to Papa Ratzinger's alleged statement. I write alleged because it is from the Vatican Communications Office. Truly, are we to believe these people but not the old professor? We know some who work and advise there, correct? They are media experts and engage in lawsuits and internet screeds when called out. It was also a harsh comment not in keeping with Ratzinger's style and temperament. Let the comment come directly from him or written by him and delivered by his secretary or on video.

Quite frankly, I don't believe it.

Are we to believe that there is no comment on Amoris Laetitia, no comment on the Synods, no comment on anything, but on this, the Emeritus Pope comments?

Bovine excrement! These Vatican manipulators have no credibility. If anything, we must now crank it up a notch.

Something more.

Their response is also astounding. For years, they ignored the Fatima Center and the late Father Nicholas Gruner. But blogs, they respond to.

Blogs and Fatima must clearly disturb these people.

Ten, sorry ELEVEN years ago today, we had a Pope!

Surely, as with the death of Kennedy or 9-11 we remember where we were. As I awaited with a group of Catholic colleagues, at the name Joseph, I knew instantly, and so did they. When Ratzinger was announced two of us raised our fists in the air, "yes!" The others were silent and walked away, grumbling.

All is well. The Papacy of Benedict did much and it did one thing that will go down in history as the great turning point for the restoration of the Church.

It was, without a doubt, an act of the Holy Spirit.

Two words.

Summorum Pontificum.

If history remembers and praises him for nothing else, it will remember him for that.

Thank you, Papa Benedetto!

Unlike two words, Amoris Laetitia which sets Christ and against the Holy Spirit which is impossible and blasphemous which is proof that it is not magisterial, not infallible, not just and must be denounced and rejected by all.

Benedict XVI and Francis on "fundamentalism"

"Today, having a clear faith based on the Creed of the Church is often labeled as fundamentalism. Whereas relativism, that is, letting oneself be "tossed here and there, carried about by every wind of doctrine", seems the only attitude that can cope with modern times. We are building a dictatorship of relativism that does not recognize anything as definitive and whose ultimate goal consists solely of one's own ego and desires."- Pope Benedict XVI
“Fundamentalism is a sickness that is in all religions,” said the Pontiff. “We Catholics have some — and not some, many — who believe they possess the absolute truth and go ahead dirtying the other with calumny, with disinformation, and doing evil. They do evil. I say this because it is my Church.” - - Francis, Bishop of Rome

Did the bankers make him do it?

Another breaking story about Pope Benedict's renouncement of the papacy comes our way from Hilary White at Orwell's Picnic originating from Maurizio Blondet. You can read the Italian original or Hilary's translation.

I sent the Italian original to a friend today to get the flavour of it and here is what he wrote:
Essentially the author, Blondet, first writes what we discussed, that the election of Pope Francis is valid since everyone vowed obedience to him and nobody contested the Election. But then he puts forth that the resignation of Benedict was invalid....he talks how Benedict resigned because SWIFT took the Vatican Bank (IOR) out of the SWIFT network, which is absolutely crucial in carrying out financial transactions across the world (giving money to Nunciatures, Missions, etc.).  Few people know about SWIFT. Essentially SWIFT blackmailed Benedict: if he didn't resign the financial state of the Church would be in ruin....Benedict "could not buy nor sell"  - the only proof of this that Blondet gives is circumstantial: IOR is taken off of SWIFT, then as soon as Benedict resigns, it is re-admitted. Yes, strong circumstantial evidence, but not enough to claim blackmail (He also cites that the resignation speech in Latin was riddled with errors, as if it had been given to him by someone else, Benedict would never make such elementary errors in latin).
Then he says that Pope Francis' mandate to accept as many immigrants as possible is similar to an exhortation signed by many Masonic lodges. He ties it all in with Apocalypse 13, where there is mention that "people could not buy nor sell" (like Benedict) without the mark of the beast, the mark of beast being SWIFT banking codes....
Far-fetched, but it does raise some questions; particularly on top of the pervert protecting Cardinal Danneels and his claims of a "mafia."

Thursday 24 September 2015

Did the pervert protecting Cardinal Danneels organise a "mafia" to destroy Pope Benedict XVI? Was Bergoglio engineered as Pope a year in advance? What was McCarrick's role? What is the implication for the Holy Catholic Church - or do we already know?

Breaking news from La Stampa in Italy, the full text of which follows at the end of this post.

In an authorised  biography of Godfried Cardinal Danneels, the pervert protecting retired Cardinal of Brussels states that he lead a "Mafiaclub" known as "St. Gallen" that plotted to elect Jorge Bergoglio as Pope in secret meetings of cardinals and bishops. The meetings were organised by the late Carlo Maria Martini former Archbishop of Milan who allegedly told then Cardinal Ratzinger, that if elected, he would need to "resign" at some point. We have written previously about Martini and certain Masonic affiliations.

Edward Pentin also writes on the matter with other information about Danneels and his history as a libertine in the matter of sexual ethics and catechesis. Danneels has been appointed by Jorge Bergoglio, the Pope of the Holy See to the Synod on the Family and Cardinal Burke has not.
La Stampa states that:
"Danneels according to the authors, would have worked for years to prepare for the election of Pope Francis, which took place in 2013. He himself, moreover, in a video recorded during the presentation of the book in Brussels he admits that he was part of a secret club of cardinals who opposed Joseph Ratzinger. Laughing, he calls it "a club Mafia and bore the name of St. Gallen". The group wanted a drastic reform of the Church, much more modern and current, with Jorge Bergoglio Pope Francis in the head. Besides Danneels and Martini, the group according to the book were part of the Dutch bishop Adriaan Van Luyn, the German cardinal Walter Kasper and Karl Lehman, the Italian Cardinal Achille Silvestrini and British Basil Hume, among others."
This is not the first time that information has come out that the election of Jorge Bergoglio was engineered.

In a speech delivered at Villanova University on October 11, 2013, the long-suspected active homosexual Cardinal Emeritus of Washington, D.C., Theodore McCarrick, spoke of a "very influential man" lobbying him prior to the conclave to engineer the election of Jorge Bergoglio. "He could do it you know ... five years to make the Church over again...to put us back on target." (listen at 18:20). Make over the Church to what? Back on target for what?

That lobbying is illegal.

It is vital that this information not be hidden. The Catholic world must wake up to this and the horrendous implications of what it means.

Who forced Pope Benedict XVI to resign? Can we sit by any longer and assume that he was not pushed and left "for the good of the corporation" notwithstanding his reasoning? What threat did they make against him? Was he threatened with death? Would they have killed him and hundreds or even thousands of others at the same time at a Mass? What could they have done to him that would have made him renounce the Papacy?

The Catholic faithful have a right to know the truth - the truth of Papa Ratzinger's shocking departure and the truth of the who was behind it and of the election of Jorge Bergoglio.

The time for silence is over!

Souls are at risk and the very unity of the Catholic Church!

Francis: election prepared years beforehand
La Stampa: The election of Jorge Bergoglio was the result of secret meetings that cardinals and bishops, organized by Carlo Maria Martini, held for years in St. Gallen in Switzerland. This is what Jürgen Mettepenningen and Karim Schelkens are claiming. They are the authors of a newly published biography of the Belgian Cardinal Godfried Danneels, who calls the group of cardinals and bishops a "Mafia-club".
Danneels, according to the authors, worked for years to prepare for the election of Pope Francis, which took place in 2013.
He himself, moreover, in a video recorded during the presentation of the book in Brussels admits to having been part of a secret club of cardinals who opposed Joseph Ratzinger. Laughing, he called it "a Mafia-club and bore the name of St. Gallen".
The group wanted a drastic reform of the Church: for it to be much more modern and current, with Jorge Bergoglio - Pope Francis as its head: which, in fact, is what has occurred
According to the book, besides Danneels and Martini, the members of this group were: the Dutch bishop Adriaan Van Luyn, the German cardinals Walter Kasper and Karl Lehman, the Italian Cardinal Achille Silvestrini and the British Cardinal Basil Hume, among others.
Belgian newspaper "Le Vif" reports that: “On March 13, 2013 an old acquaintance was alongside the new Pope Francis: Godfried Danneels. Officially, he was there as dean of the Cardinal-Priests, but in reality he had worked discreetly for years as a creator of kings ".
Danneels has again been invited by Pope Francis to the Synod on the Family to be held in October in Rome, but he has been criticized very much. He tried to dissuade a victim of sexual abuse from reporting the perpetrator, a bishop (the uncle of the victim). For this reason, at the time of the 2013 Conclave, in Belgium there were those who demanded that he not be allowed to participate in the papal election.
Furthermore, Daneels’ positions on gay marriage and abortion - according to the revelation of two parliamentarians he wrote the king of Belgium exhorting him to sign the law to allow abortion - does not seem in agreement with the Magisterium of the Church; and with what Pope Francis has said on these issues.

The Pope is not an absolute monarch whose thoughts and desires are law ... he must not proclaim his own ideas

No, this is not my quote. This is not Vox being snarky or being anti-Francis.

Rorate Caeli Blog has the whole beautiful homily. Read it and then consider if Francis' personal motion to undermine the process of annulments is prudent and even licit? He can choose tomorrow to demolish St. Peter's Basilica. He has the legal jurisdiction to do that, he is the supreme legislator. Remember that the next time that you neo-Caths cry about "papal infallibility" and "you can't criticise the pope." Read your history of Pius VII and Napoleon and stop ascribing a power to the pope that he does not have. The moon is not made of creamed cheese even he says it and his actions on annulments can and will be undone by a future Pope. History is a merciless judge.

How much do you miss him now, eh?

I miss my Papa so much that I want to cry every time I see his picture and then I realise that it is my fault because I did not pray for him enough that he not "flee for fear of the wolves."

Pope condemns the climate change prophets of doom

No, not Francis, it was another.

Yesterday, a conference was held at the Vatican with UN officials including the pro-abortion, population-control advocate Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon. The Pope is preparing his "encyclical" on the environment and potentially the junk science of global warming.

Down for the Unholy Cause
For real science, take a visit to the McAbee Fossil Beds which clearly show that trees once grew where it is now cold and at elevations unexpected proving that at one time, this area of British Columbia was warmer. We also have a report by Smithsonian scientists on the presence of tropical palm fossils and forests in Greenland and north of the Arctic Circle. I learnt this in elementary school nearly fifty years ago (oh my, has it been that long?).

Global warming as a result of mankind and Co2 is junk science, yet yesterday, distinguished scientists opposing this global scam were badly treated by Vatican officials desirous of questioning this agenda promoted by Ban Ki Moon. As if speaking directly to Pope Francis, British journalist and political commentator and Roman Catholic Christopher Monckton said, "You demean the office that you hold and you demean the church whom it is your sworn duty to protect and defend and advance, ... You will be kicking the poor in the teeth. Stand back and listen to both sides. And do not take sides in politics." s

I couldn't agree more. I am shocked, dismayed, embarrassed and ashamed of this Pope for coddling up to this leftist and globalist political agenda. As a Catholic, I am scandalised by the Bishop of Rome, Jorge Bergoglio and his embracing of this climate-change agenda. I dread this upcoming encyclical on the environment and what it means for the credibility of the Church and the Vicar of Christ. I am more scandalised that Asia Bibi is still in prison and this Pope meets with pro-abortion and population-control advocates such as Ban Ki Moon. The Pope and the Church have lost their direction. The focus is not on Christ and the salvation of the world by preaching Him crucified and risen but on globalist political agendas. Is it too bizarre to state that communists, sodomites and Freemasons have infiltrated the Church or it more bizarre not to believe it?

The world is burning. Christians are dying for the faith and being persecuted by the sodomite-mafia. Souls are being lost and the Pope has focused on the environment? Frankly, if the world is heading to a crisis due to "climate change" or "global warming" the Church should be pleading to God for intervention, not putting its trust in globalist Freemasons with an agenda to reshape the world. What is next, this Pope chairing a UN Committee on One World Religion?

There was a time when Pope's spoke with clarity and dignity. When one reads below the clarity of Papa Ratzinger, one is left to hang ones head in dread and to cover ones self with ashes over what has become of our Church under this Pontificate.

When the world and the most pro-abortion, anti-Christian President in American history praises the Pope, we have a problem. Has someone put Kool-Aid into his mate?

THE POPE CONDEMNS THE CLIMATE CHANGE PROPHETS OF DOOM

By SIMON CALDWELL
Last updated at 11:01 13 December 2007

Pope Benedict XVIPope Benedict XVI has launched a surprise attack on climate change prophets of doom, warning them that any solutions to global warming must be based on firm evidence and not on dubious ideology.

The leader of more than a billion Roman Catholics suggested that fears over man-made emissions melting the ice caps and causing a wave of unprecedented disasters were nothing more than scare-mongering.

The German-born Pontiff said that while some concerns may be valid it was vital that the international community based its policies on science rather than the dogma of the environmentalist movement.

His remarks will be made in his annual message for World Peace Day on January 1, but they were released as delegates from all over the world convened on the Indonesian holiday island of Bali for UN climate change talks.

The 80-year-old Pope said the world needed to care for the environment but not to the point where the welfare of animals and plants was given a greater priority than that of mankind.

"Humanity today is rightly concerned about the ecological balance of tomorrow," he said in the message entitled "The Human Family, A Community of Peace".

"It is important for assessments in this regard to be carried out prudently, in dialogue with experts and people of wisdom, uninhibited by ideological pressure to draw hasty conclusions, and above all with the aim of reaching agreement on a model of sustainable development capable of ensuring the well-being of all while respecting environmental balances.

"If the protection of the environment involves costs, they should be justly distributed, taking due account of the different levels of development of various countries and the need for solidarity with future generations.

"Prudence does not mean failing to accept responsibilities and postponing decisions; it means being committed to making joint decisions after pondering responsibly the road to be taken."

Efforts to protect the environment should seek "agreement on a model of sustainable development capable of ensuring the well-being of all while respecting environmental balances", the Pope said.

He added that to further the cause of world peace it was sensible for nations to "choose the path of dialogue rather than the path of unilateral decisions" in how to cooperate responsibly on conserving the planet.

The Pope's message is traditionally sent to heads of government and international organisations.

His remarks reveal that while the Pope acknowledges that problems may be associated with unbridled development and climate change, he believes the case against global warming to be over-hyped.

A broad consensus is developing among the world's scientific community over the evils of climate change.

But there is also an intransigent body of scientific opinion which continues to insist that industrial emissions are not to blame for the phenomenon.

Such scientists point out that fluctuations in the earth's temperature are normal and can often be caused by waves of heat generated by the sun. Other critics of environmentalism have compared the movement to a burgeoning industry in its own right.

In the spring, the Vatican hosted a conference on climate change that was welcomed by environmentalists.

But senior cardinals close to the Vatican have since expressed doubts about a movement which has been likened by critics to be just as dogmatic in its assumptions as any religion.

In October, the Australian Cardinal George Pell, the Archbishop of Sydney, caused an outcry when he noted that the atmospheric temperature of Mars had risen by 0.5 degrees celsius.

"The industrial-military complex up on Mars can't be blamed for that," he said in a criticism of Australian scientists who had claimed that carbon emissions would force temperatures on earth to rise by almost five degrees by 2070 unless drastic solutions were enforced.

The Second Coming - not of Our Lord but of the German Schism

For Lee, et al.

It may be possible to write a whole blog or website dedicated solely to the corruption within the Catholic Church in Germany and each day add a new chapter to this tragedy. The spirit of Luther, Weishaupt, Marx, von Bismarck, Hitler, Hegel have combined over the centuries to influence the Church in a most anti Catholic way. The Masonic, Illuminist and Protestant philosophies have poisoned the minds of generations of clerics and professors that is near universal there.

Over the last few months I have focused a number of posts on the situation. We have begged Pope Francis to distance himself from the corruption and to rebuke them and it has not come; it has only gotten worse. The pornographic publishing empire held by the German bishops conference continues in its filthy ways with no attempt to shut it down and repent of this abomination and crime before the Lord and Our Lady. Can it be possible that Pope Francis is unaware of its existence? It hardly seems possible. Benedict XVI was aware of it and demanded action on the part of the German bishops and he was ignored. The porn matter is not first time that our beloved Papa Ratzinger was disobeyed by these men One example is the translation of "pro multis" which has been correctly rendered as "for many" now in English. In German (amongst others in transition) it is still translated as "for all" and will remain so for now. Pope Benedict XVI wrote to the German bishops for a corrected translation and yet again, he was disobeyed in spite of his theological and scriptural dissertation. Can there be any doubt the poor man fled for the fear of the wolves?

Cologne diocese has announced that its wealth is over 3.8 billion euros with 2.4 billion euros invested in stocks funds and company holdings. I imagine the pornographic publisher is somewhere in there. What other companies does the Church own in stocks? Drug companies producing contraceptive/abortifacient drugs? Drugs used for euthanasia in Holland, Belgium and Switzerland? According to Crux, they have nearly 650 million euros in tangible assets, mostly property (other than parish churches valued at $1 or euro?) and cash reserves of 287 million euros. The German bishops are paid the equivalent of over $150,000 US per year and these men will deny the sacraments to those who don't keep filling their coffers. This lead us to the kirchensteuer, the outdated and corrupt tax levy of Germans paid directly to the churches and synagogues by the government after taking a little off the top for themselves.

Who can forget the legendary Kasper, a material heretic if there ever were one and euro-centric elitist of all things African whose machinations and manipulations at the Synod on the Family is validated by those beyond the civil courts such as Raymond Cardinal Burke, George Cardinal Pell, Cardinal Napier and His Excellency, Athanasius Schneider amongst others.  Let me say that again -- in case you did not get it the first time (see Canon 212§3), "machinations and manipulations."

Cardinal Marx

Now, we have the German Cardinal Marx (what is it about that name?) stating; "We are no subsidiaries of Rome, Each conference of  bishops is responsible for pastoral care in its culture, and must, as its most proper task, preach the Gospel on our own. We cannot wait for a synod to tell us how we have to shape pastoral care for marriage and family here."

Now, it all becomes clear.

When Kasper insulted our African brothers and sisters (the Fox is born in South Africa of Irish, Dutch French and African descent) and mocked them in his arrogant, euro-centric, xenophobic, paternalistic, condescending and racist tone, "they should not tell us too much what to do" there was more there then, than most picked up. I stated in discussions what Kasper and these Germans were up to -- let the Africans be "bigots" we Germans, we are better after all, we are efficient and much superior to these, you go your way, we'll go ours. I said it then: It is the German Catholic Church, that is what these manipulators, these traitorous prelates and their minions are out to accomplish. The logical step of a false collegiality as promoted by a hermeneutic of rupture from the Rhineland influence and domination at the Second Vatican Council. Isn't this one of the critical doctrinal points of the SSPX?

Now we can begin to put the pieces together - it is just too obvious, they have shown their cards.

Theodore McCarrick, the former Cardinal Archbishop of Washington has revealed his part in what appears to be a lobby effort to elect Jorge Cardinal Bergoglio as Pope.  He would only need "five years" to have the Church "back on track" McCarrick himself, with a special interest in extra-curricular activities, says it for all to hear in the video. Schism in on the horizon de facto or de jure remains to be seen but schism, no doubt. They needed to ensure that they could elect someone that would be sympathetic to their cause. Hence the apparent lobbying effort.

Each bishops conference will do what it wants with pastoral practice under a static universal doctrine appearing to be Catholic and catered to its own needs. The doctrine will change because pastoral practice will be adapted. This is not Catholic, it is heresy. We are on to them and the evidence is out there for all to see if we are prepared to call it out for what it is. The videos of the speeches exist because these men in their prideful arrogance began letting it out well over a year ago - only now it is all coming together for us to see.

These men are not Catholics, they may be barely Christians. They are Protestants, and they are heretics and they are leading souls to Hell. They are Judases who have betrayed Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Church created to save humanity. They are radical and they preach a false ecumenism - they have lost the faith in the Real Presence, if they ever really had it because if they really believed, they would not do it. They are the "synthesis" of all heretics, they are modernists!

The Pope is the guardian of doctrinal truth. He must act as Pope in the face of these men who would seek to cause schism in the holy Catholic Church.

Know this friend. You are not going to be warned about this on Patheos, on Crux by reading The Tablet or the National Catholic Reporter. You may not even get it from EWTN or the National Catholic Register and you certainly won't get it in Canada in our print or cable media; so we here are left to hope for a few brave bishops that might find their Catholic heart and their anatomy. You will be able, over the next nine months to find the truth in many places, blogs and speciality on line media and it will not come from those you expect to tell you the truth but whose bread is buttered by these men. To me personally, that is quite obvious and the silence is deafening.

You and I have a responsibility as articulated in that referred to Canon. If the last week has taught us anything and as if October wasn't enough to remind us, we have an ability that no generation before us has had. We have an opportunity that our parents and grandparents did not have -- carry the torch for them and fight the fight that they could not wage.

When these prelates, these clericalists tell you that you're not competent or qualified read them the Canon and then tell them this as a friend in Scotland said to me today -- "you raped our children and you gave us the example of dissent from the pulpit, who are you that we should listen to you now?"

Now go make a mess.

Wednesday 11 February 2015

Two years ago today

I was dressing that morning, it was just after 06:00 EST. I screamed to my wife and picked up the phone to call a priest friend. He had just received a text and was distressed and going to pray before the Blessed Sacrament.

I regret that day.

I will regret it for years to come.

A monsignor sobbed, then silence fell:
"It seemed that, in slow motion before me, an assistant television cameraman put his hand to his mouth in a cartoonlike gesture of astonishment, the monsignor sitting next to me started to sob quietly, Archbishop Gänswein’s shoulders seemed to drop. The cardinals leaned forward to make sure they understood precisely what was being said and I found myself checking that my jaw wasn’t dropping open. Then there was silence."

Reflections on some current problems of the crisis of the Catholic Church
I had the experience of living with priests who were in Stalinist prisons and camps and who nevertheless remained faithful to the Church. During the time of persecution they fulfilled with love their priestly duty in preaching Catholic doctrine thereby leading a dignified life in the imitation of Christ, their heavenly Master.
I completed my priestly studies in an underground Seminary in the Soviet Union. I was ordained a priest secretly during the night by a pious bishop who himself suffered for the sake of the faith. In the first year of my priesthood I had the experience of being expelled from Tadzhikistan by the KGB.
Subsequently, during my thirty-year stay in Kazakhstan, I served 10 years as priest, caring for faithful people in 81 localities. Then I served 20 years as bishop, initially as bishop of five states in Central Asia with a total area of around four million square kilometers.
In my ministry as a bishop I had contact with Pope Saint John Paul II, with many bishops, priests and faithful in different countries and under different circumstances. I was member of some assemblies of the Synod of Bishops in the Vatican which covered themes such as “Asia” and “The Eucharist”.
This experience as well as others give me the basis to express my opinion on the current crisis of the Catholic Church. These are my convictions and they are dictated by my love of the Church and by the desire for her authentic renewal in Christ. I am forced to resort to this public means of expression because I fear that any other method would be greeted by a brick wall of silence and disregard.
I am aware of possible reactions to my open letter. But at the same time the voice of my conscience will not allow me to remain silent, while the work of God is being slandered. Jesus Christ founded the Catholic Church and showed us in word and deed how one should fulfill the will of God. The apostles to whom He bestowed authority in the Church, fulfilled with zeal the duty entrusted to them, suffering for the sake of the truth which had to be preached, since they “obeyed God rather than men”.
Unfortunately in our days it is increasingly evident that the Vatican through the Secretariat of State has taken the course of political correctness. Some Nuncios have become propagators of liberalism and modernism. They have acquired expertise in the principle “sub secreto Pontificio”, by which one manipulates and silences the mouths of the bishops. And that what the Nuncio tells them appears as it would be almost certainly the wish of the Pope. With such methods one separates the bishops from one another to the effect that the bishops of a country can no longer speak with one voice in the spirit of Christ and His Church in defending faith and morals. This means that, in order not to fall into disfavour with the Nuncio some bishops accept their recommendations, which are sometimes based on nothing other than on their own words. Instead of zealously spreading the faith, courageously preaching the doctrine of Christ, standing firm in the defense of truth and of morals, the meetings of the Bishops’ Conferences often deal with issues which are foreign to the nature of the duties of the successors of the apostles.

One can observe at all levels of the Church an obvious decrease of the “sacrum”. The “spirit of the world” feeds the shepherds. The sinners give the Church the instructions for how she has to serve them. In their embarrassment the Pastors are silent on the current problems and abandon the sheep while they are feeding themselves. The world is tempted by the devil and opposes the doctrine of Christ. Nevertheless the Pastors are obliged to teach the whole truth about God and men “in season and out”.

However, during the reign of the last holy Popes one could observe in the Church the greatest disorder concerning the purity of the doctrine and the sacredness of the liturgy, in which Jesus Christ is not paid the visible honour which he is due. In not a few Bishop’s Conferences the best bishops are “persona non grata”. Where are apologists of our days, who would announce to men in a clear and comprehensible manner the threat of the risk of loss of faith and salvation?

In our days the voice of the majority of the bishops rather resembles the silence of the lambs in the face of furious wolves, the faithful are left like defenseless sheep. Christ was recognized by men as one who spoke and worked, as one, who had power and this power He bestowed upon His apostles. In today’s world the bishops must liberate themselves from all worldly bonds and – after they have done penance – convert to Christ so that strengthened by the Holy Spirit they may announce Christ as the one and only Saviour. Ultimately one must give account to God for all that was done and for all what wasn't done.

In my opinion the weak voice of many bishops is a consequence of the fact, that in the process of the appointment of new bishops the candidates are insufficiently examined with regard to their doubtless steadfastness and fearlessness in the defense of the faith, with regard to their fidelity to the centuries-old traditions of the Church and their personal piety. In the issue of the appointment of new bishops and even cardinals it is becoming increasingly apparent that sometimes preference is given to those who share a particular ideology or to some groupings which are alien to the Church and which have commissioned the appointment of a particular candidate. Furthermore it appears that sometimes consideration is given also to the favour of the mass media which usually makes a mockery of holy candidates painting a negative picture of them, whereas the candidates who in a lesser degree own the spirit of Christ are praised as open and modern. On the other side the candidates who excel in apostolic zeal, have courage in proclaiming the doctrine of Christ and show love for all that is holy and sacred, are deliberately eliminated.

A Nuncio once told me: “It’s a pity that the Pope [John Paul II] does not participate personally in the appointment of the bishops. The Pope tried to change something in the Roman Curia, however he has not succeeded. He becomes older and things resume their usual former course”.

At the beginning of the pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI, I wrote a letter to him in which I begged him to appoint holy bishops. I reported to him the story of a German layman who in the face of the degradation of the Church in his country after the Second Vatican Council, remained faithful to Christ and gathered young people for adoration and prayer. This man had been close to death and when he learned about the election of the new Pope he said: “When Pope Benedict will use his pontificate solely for the purpose to appoint worthy, good and faithful bishops, he will have fulfilled his task”.

Unfortunately, it is obvious that, Pope Benedict XVI has often not succeeded in this issue. It is difficult to believe that Pope Benedict XVI freely renounced his ministry as successor of Peter. Pope Benedict XVI was the head of the Church, his entourage however has barely translated his teachings into life, bypassed them often in silence or has rather obstructed his initiatives for an authentic reform of the Church, of the liturgy, of the manner to administer Holy Communion. In view of a great secrecy in the Vatican for many bishops it was realistically impossible to help the Pope in his duty as head and governor of the whole Church.

It will not be superfluous to remind my brothers in the episcopacy of an affirmation made by an Italian masonic lodge from the year 1820: “Our work is a work of a hundred years. Let us leave the elder people and let us go to the youth. The seminarians will become priests with our liberal ideas. We shall not flatter ourselves with false hopes. We will not make the Pope a Freemason. However liberal bishops, who will work in the entourage of the Pope, will propose to him in the task of governing the Church such thoughts and ideas which are advantageous for us and the Pope will implement them into life”. This intention of the Freemasons is being implemented more and more openly, not only thanks to the declared enemies of the Church but with the connivance of false witnesses who occupy some high hierarchical office in the Church. It is not without reason that Blessed Paul VI said: “The spirit of Satan penetrated through a crack inside the Church”. I think that this crack has become in our days quite wide and the devil uses all forces in order to subvert the Church of Christ. To avoid this, it is necessary to return to the precise and clear proclamation of the Gospel on all levels of ecclesiastical ministry, for the Church possesses all power and grace which Christ gave to her: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go therefore, and teach all nations. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and I am with you always unto the end of the world” (Mt 28, 18-20), “the truth will set you free” (John 8, 32) and “let your word be Yes, yes; No, no: for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil” (Mt 5, 37). The Church cannot adapt herself to the spirit of this world, but must transform the world to the spirit of Christ.

It is obvious that in the Vatican there is a tendency to give in more and more to the noise of the mass media. It is not infrequent that in the name of an incomprehensible quiet and calm the best sons and servants are sacrificed in order to appease the mass media. The enemies of the Church however don’t hand over their faithful servants even when their actions are evidently bad.

When we wish to remain faithful to Christ in word and deed, He Himself will find the means to transform the hearts and souls of men and the world as well will be changed at the appropriate time.

In times of the crisis of the Church God has often used for her true renewal the sacrifices, the tears and the prayers of those children and servants of the Church who in the eyes of the world and of the ecclesiastical bureaucracy were considered insignificant or were persecuted and marginalized because of their fidelity to Christ. I believe that in our difficult time this law of Christ is being realized and that the Church will renew herself thanks to the faithful inner renewal of each of us.

Truer words were rarely spoken

'I was reminded of all this recently, when I read the edition by Professor Theodore Khoury (Münster) of part of the dialogue carried on - perhaps in 1391 in the winter barracks near Ankara - by the erudite Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus and an educated Persian on the subject of Christianity and Islam, and the truth of both.[1] It was presumably the emperor himself who set down this dialogue, during the siege of Constantinople between 1394 and 1402; and this would explain why his arguments are given in greater detail than those of his Persian interlocutor.[2] The dialogue ranges widely over the structures of faith contained in the Bible and in the Qur'an, and deals especially with the image of God and of man, while necessarily returning repeatedly to the relationship between - as they were called - three "Laws" or "rules of life": the Old Testament, the New Testament and the Qur'an. It is not my intention to discuss this question in the present lecture; here I would like to discuss only one point - itself rather marginal to the dialogue as a whole - which, in the context of the issue of "faith and reason", I found interesting and which can serve as the starting-point for my reflections on this issue.
In the seventh conversation (διάλεξις - controversy) edited by Professor Khoury, the emperor touches on the theme of the holy war. The emperor must have known that surah 2, 256 reads: "There is no compulsion in religion". According to some of the experts, this is probably one of the suras of the early period, when Mohammed was still powerless and under threat. But naturally the emperor also knew the instructions, developed later and recorded in the Qur'an, concerning holy war. Without descending to details, such as the difference in treatment accorded to those who have the "Book" and the "infidels", he addresses his interlocutor with a startling brusqueness, a brusqueness that we find unacceptable, on the central question about the relationship between religion and violence in general, saying: "Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”[3] The emperor, after having expressed himself so forcefully, goes on to explain in detail the reasons why spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable. Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul. "God", he says, "is not pleased by blood - and not acting reasonably (σὺν λόγω) is contrary to God's nature. Faith is born of the soul, not the body. Whoever would lead someone to faith needs the ability to speak well and to reason properly, without violence and threats... To convince a reasonable soul, one does not need a strong arm, or weapons of any kind, or any other means of threatening a person with death...

From the Regensburg Address of Benedict XVI, Pope

Monday 7 July 2014

Thank you Papa Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger!

On this blessed day, let us remember seven years ago on July 7, 2007 and what our beloved Pope, Benedict XVI did for us!

Personally, this is what he did for me (below)! This rite was my right and I did not have to beg or grovel before any bishop to be denied it as as I had to do for my mother's funeral, which was denied because they could not be "disturbed" due to the CCCB plenary.

Thank you Lord for Papa Joseph Ratzinger, may you be consoled and know how much you are loved and missed.

Never again will we allow our "rite" to be taken away.

Never again.

The battle we face goes on, we will not give up. Long Live Papa Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Emeritus

Perhaps the professional clericalists that head universities and alleged Catholic cable networks which have the temerity to say "don't get me wrong, I loved Pope Benedict, but look at how they dressed him up" and then continue to affront others that actually have read him might want to view this 51 minutes by Father Calvin Goodwin, FSSP who quotes considerably from Joseph Ratzinger and says himself, "we should not underestimate the situation we are in."

While this writer in no way endorses the actions of any of the four bishops consecrated by Archbishop Lefebvre, it does not mean that what they may say from time to time is not correct:

“But blind obedience is ridiculous! What are we lambs to do when the Shepherd is struck and the sheep are scattered ? Pretend all is well. and let ourselves be devoured by wolves in the name of obedience ? What can one say to such people? They are wilfully ignorant in the belief that wilful ignorance is a virtue! Where does such a mindset come from ? What error crept into the Church to make Catholics switch off their minds? Richard Williamson, SSPX

History will judge our beloved Papa!

History will judge, as will Our Lord; and the day will come in the not too distance future when Catholics around the world will come to the realisation that we were given a grace by God to be served by a man who is arguably the greatest intellect in the Catholic Church, if not the world, since St. Thomas Aquinas. Alas, we were unworthy.

Perhaps Father Allan J. McDonald has it right, shocking as it seems. I first discovered this man, our dear Papa, with the reading of The Ratzinger Report over twenty-five years ago. From then, he had me. His intellect was profound; yet, he would talk and teach as if he were always the kindly professor intent on not dumbing down his word but ensuring they were phrased that we simple folk could understand everything he said.

Look at the photo below; look at he love in his eyes, on his face. I miss him; I miss him dearly. I am still in mourning. The fact is, we may never see one like you come our way again, not in many life times and certainly, not now. They can't hold a candle to you.

May your enemies be confounded. May they be acursed - each and every filthy one of them. Every priest, bishop, cardinal whether in a parish, cathedral or the curia itself. Every teacher, liturgist, professor and layman. May they be held accountable for their evil, their treachery, their spite and their malice against you and the Church.

Papa Benedict, may our dear Lord comfort you and bless you; may you know how much you are loved and missed.
