I was never so happy to read something. I remember long ago when Patrick Ewing was the Knicks first round draft pick. I never saw him so happy. It felt like that, lol. It is truly a joyous time. I checked Canon212 at least once a day, just hoping against hope. To see it, was unbelievable, like winning the lottery. His sense of humor is there, and those letters in red, and God save the church. Thank you Jesus and Our Lady, so much. He must have had a lot of prayers going up. Just so grateful. We need to be grateful for our faithful bloggists, like Frank Walker, like you and others, Vox. We need to realize how important your work is and how much of a difference people who do this work make. Going through the battle together, it gets personal, because we really are going through a definite battle. May God bless us and help us as we continue, and continue to heal Frank and others who need it, amen.
Thank you, again, Kathleen for putting into words my thoughts! I was so happy to read this headline! And I agree that many prayers must have been offered for Frank. Our parish hosted the traveling relic of St. Jude this past weekend and many came to venerate him. I also took this intention to heart and did indeed ask St. Jude to intercede for Frank. It is his ability to hone in on the truth and then to help us laugh through the insanity in the Church and the world that keeps me from being depressed. And his tag line just sums it all up. "God save the Church" indeed! I'll keep praying for him.
lol, sorry, I meant my husband was so happy, not Frank Walker. Now that I think of it, I've never seen anybody as happy as my husband was when Patrick Ewing was the first round draft pick.
