Is this where the plan to go after traditional Latin Mass-loving Catholics in Toronto was cooked up?
Roche was a close and intimate friend of Doug Crosby, the retired Bishop of Hamilton. When Crosby arrived from Labrador, he brought along a couple of intriguing priests and appointed them as “co-pastors” in Hamilton. What was that all about? Crosby also served as co-consecrator and mentor to Frank Leo. Back in 1987, I was living in Ottawa and attended the “Oratory in formation” at St. Brigid’s, which was dismantled by modernists who aggressively targeted the good priests from St. Joseph’s parish. And the pastor at the time? Doug Crosby. So, what does it all add up to?
